Easy to work with. Good data and processes are key. With that no application will work solve your problem.
Pros: Great SaaS Low code solution. Able to use configuration to solve many enhancement requests. Team is also easy to work and provides needed support.
Cons: Has been missing some key components but they are rapidly improving and making efficient updates to improve user experience

Quickest adoption I have encountered. Best at generating metrics. Great return on investment. Can eliminate other programs for efficiency
Pros: Value for the money. Every approval in your company can be managed using Propel which results in a single repository for all records which is huge for start up cmpanis that are often acquired.
Cons: Upload of records was challenging but a benefit. We thought the records were uploaded. Need to make sure the upload is verified.

Wonderful. Has been working fantastically for us so far and we are still building daily and exploring future development
Pros: Very user friendly! The interface is so easy to use. We were able to very easily move our product releases into the system.
Cons: Custom development can be a bit tricky to learn. Luckily with the help of our PS team and some online research, we are able to figure it out.

Overall, Propel has been an amazing tool for our company. We love the ability to customize features that fit our business needs. It’s super easy to explain to users when they are gaining new access.
Pros: User friendliness, document management features, customization ability, support from the Propel team, dashboards
Cons: Training customizations for digest emails were difficult to figure out, sometimes the approval notifications for changes are too frequent
Kaylee R. · Manager, Document Control · Medical Devices · May 12, 2026
Positive, haven't had any major issues so far. Transition from Agile to propel went relatively well, some minor technical issues but Propel has offered an equivalent product.
Pros: Smooth operation, easy-to-learn interface, streamlined. Being able to add pictures to the BOM is small, but makes a big difference for users that aren't technical and not familiar with the parts.
Cons: MFA and tokenized signoff requirements increase friction for users. Additionally, recommend the propel support team spend more time talking on the phone or on video calls to help assist with issues. emailing back and forth can be a pain.

Great support with a really responsive team. Easy to use product which allows our team to collaborate and ensure records move through the process in a way which is clear to all. It is also modular as we do not have to use, or even install optional parts of the program we will not use.
Pros: Clear layout and workflow. It is easy to see how items move through the process and become items. It is also easy to add custom fields to the pages.
Cons: Some customizations are more difficult to find. They are hidden away in setting and it might not be readily apparent where to go to make the change.

I have been using propel for more than 2 years and the usage on the company has grown to the point that the QMS, PLM and project management modules are implemented throughout the NA region
Pros: I like how the Propel support team is very close to the customer, the software itself is very customizable and Propel has a great technical team that understand customer needs. The fact of having one single source of truth for QMS and PLM boost team collaboration and engagement
Cons: In the beginning I struggled to understand the functionality but once you get familiar it turns out a very user-friendly tool

I use propel every day, not only for my Product Development job, but also to support our manufacturing teams into any challenges they might have. I can't imagine going back to how we were doing things pre-propel.
Pros: Propel allows users to consolidate from multiple platforms into once single interconnected platform. It has proven to reduce development time and facilitate data management.
Cons: DHF management seems challenging. This is tricky, there is not an easy solution for the challenges that Breg has Also, the management of documents is not ideal.

Propel eliminated our usage of broken excel spreadsheets that caused everyone frustration. Now the engineers and shop floor personnel can reference the same information and will not build something incorrect. Propel also automatically adjusts the inventory when I make a change to a design and thus eliminates the need for me to manually type this information.
Pros: I like it now that the cad integration has worked without crashing all the time and I don’t have to waste hours creating pdf’s for the purchasing department (they can view and select items directly). Propel maintains a version history; therefore, I always know who changed the bom incorrectly last week. I am surprised that it synced with the correct prices from the vendors list.
Cons: The ui are extremely dull and resemble a web site from 20 years ago. Propel takes an excessive amount of time to load large data bases and you cannot move to another tab until the current tab finishes loading. I find it odd that there are multiple icon representations of the exact same item on the same page. Setting up Propel was a complete nightmare and took significantly longer than the salesman said it would.

Positive. Enjoyable. Ease of use. Support for the software if you had any issues. Really good program.
Pros: Ease of use. More features and very well planned out execution that allows anyone to learn it quickly.
Cons: Can’t really think of anything that I did not enjoy. It was an upgrade from our Nexxys software. I prefer Propel.

I have and had a great overall experience since I still use it. I love all the options they have available
Pros: I love the ease of use and the data and opinions you have while searching the site. There are many different things that are available to you to use.
Cons: There wasn't really anything I didn't like at all.Everything is pretty great and options are there and available.

Overall my experience with Propel is pretty good. The system is reliable, and is usually easy for new users within the organization to pick up.
Pros: I like Propel's customization features because it allows us flexibility to adjust our QMS according to our Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions. Everyone's organization has different processes for operating and what works best for us might not work for everyone. I think its great that Propel allows for everyone to do things in their own way.
Cons: While I like the customization, I think the process for making changes to the system is quite complex. It seems like there should be a more user friendly way to modify layouts, records, or workflows. We usually need to get a consultant involved in order to make changes. Or we need to contact Propel support. Typically when we contact Propel support, they are helpful in explaining what is wrong, but they are not proactive about helping us make changes to our system.

Good but can be much better. Propel support has been very helpful in mitigating most problems I have faced.
Pros: Built on Salesforce, ability to customize workflows. Automates our ECO and ECN workflows which were very manual in the past.
Cons: Pre-existing methodologies and lack of knowledge about how certain fields are meant to be used like item references
Shivain K. · Change Control Associate · Computer Software · July 9, 2025
We are very pleased with our decision to migrate to Propel from our previous solution provider. We have gained real-time visibility into product data and processes, enabling better decision-making and faster time-to-market.
Pros: Ease of use and seamless integration with Salesforce. Its strong BOM layout and engineering change order (ECO) functionality is particularly helpful for managing product data and revisions
Cons: There was a learning curve that was somewhat difficult for our users who were unfamiliar with Salesforce. Slow performance when handling large attachments.
Kyle C. · IT Manager · Information Technology and Services · July 8, 2025
Neutral. There is a lot of great material in how the tool works and development is completed but as a developer, I spend a lot of time figuring out how the tool is setup rather than doing actual development work.
Pros: Support team is always available and provides solutions in a timely manner. They are always willing to hop on a call and work through troubleshooting.
Cons: Out of the box functionality is quite confusing. Due to being hosted on Salesforce, the development is quite different than standard Salesforce development so there is quite a large learning curve.
Cam A. · Salesforce Administrator · Telecommunications · July 3, 2025
Pretty good so far, we are seeing an issue getting some of our users to use the change process but that is something internal. Would be interested in seeing a Propel Project board that could show all of the projects in a similar MS projects like style.
Pros: The ability to link it to other objects on the SF platform and control who can process a change based on a specific stage.
Cons: There is a learning curve if you want to make changes yourself. At first it is very confusing with all the field sets on different objects and trying to understand which field is coming from which object.

It was a great experience to network and meet Propel Staff in person. The user group was a great way to learn how others are using the system.
Pros: The user group and the live demos to the new Propel features. The guest speakers were great as well! I enjoyed all the AI discussions.
Cons: The user group session room was too small and hard to hear the speakers. If each session had its own room, it would have helped.
Lennie M. · Senior Manager, Document Control · Medical Devices · May 29, 2025
Pros: Propel’s integration of QMS and PLM in a single platform is a major advantage. It provides a unified system for managing product development and quality processes. And the configurability allows us to tailor workflows and user interfaces to match our business needs.
Cons: The quality events processes are not as intuitive as other system. The high configurability requires a deep understanding of the system and can lead to a higher learning curve.

Very easy to get around. Almost self explanatory once you hit the homepage. Great for beginners or those with experience
Pros: It was easy to navigate and catch on to the website and the app. Creating an account was just as eas8y as it could be
Cons: No complaints. Self explained homepage Easy navigation. Easy sign up process. I have nothing but good comments

Since implementing Propel QMS in January, the experience has been overwhelmingly positive. Managing documentation, tasks, and workflows has become significantly easier and more efficient. It’s clear that Propel has made a strong impact, streamlining our processes and enhancing collaboration across the board.
Pros: What I love most about Propel is its incredible efficiency and comprehensive functionality. It’s an all-in-one powerhouse that keeps our entire eQMS on track and aligned with regulatory requirements.
Cons: As a fully remote company, one challenge we've encountered is the lack of flexibility with the Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) system. Currently, users outside of recognized IP addresses must manually input a token after their password, which can be inconvenient. Additionally, the absence of a mobile app limits our ability to manage approvals and training tasks on the go, which is a key need for remote teams like ours. Enhanced mobility and authentication flexibility would make the platform even more effective.
Gabriela P. · Director of Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance · Medical Devices · May 28, 2025
Overall, Propel has been a useful tool for our organization. Using Propel has improved the way we manage our change orders and Quality records. Our records are more organized and information is easily attainable when needed. Tracking and obtaining signatures for change orders and Quality records is also so much easier than it was before Propel.
Pros: I like that Propel is very customizable. As a result, we have been able to customize objects and lifecycle that work for our organization. I also like that it is built on the Salesforce platform and can be easily connected to other applications that we are using.
Cons: I think there is room for improvement in the Training object. Letting users know which quiz questions were answered incorrectly instead of only providing pass/fail status would make this more user friendly.
Natasha J. · Quality Assurance Specialist · Medical Devices · May 26, 2025
Pros: Powerful application that has seemingly unlimited possibilities for managing our QMS and PLM. I also like the easy configurable features. The Propel academy is fantastic for the new users to learn.
Cons: I have not found the cons yet. We are new to Propel. So far, the experience was very positive personally.
Lei W. · Lead Product Quality Engineer · Medical Devices · May 23, 2025
This was my first time attending Propulsion, and it was a great experience connecting with various customers. I gained a lot from the interactions and am taking back many valuable ideas.
Pros: A well-structured and interactive series of sessions that offered valuable learnings and best practices from various customers, along with insights into Propel’s new features. The demo sessions were especially helpful in gaining an in-depth understanding.
Cons: The subject-specific sessions could be extended slightly to allow more time for the demos followed by more room for questions
Ashok Kumar P. · PLM DATA ANALYST · Computer Software · May 22, 2025
Did evaluation, used sandbox space. Like the usability and configuration of the system. Possibility for add on in the future
Pros: Usability, very pleasing view, the logical of it. Most of teams have fast learning curve to get used to the system.
Cons: Nothing at the moment, did not start using it. Maybe too much to set up at the start, a lot of decisions to make.
