Pros: Top quality product, retrieval was made easy enough.

Cons: A bit clunky, old interface, a bit expensive.

Pros: Fantastic for cost effective server/endpoint/365 backups

Cons: Can be pricy when you have lots of storage on office 365

Pros: There's not much. They market heavily, so customers recognize and trust the name, though I do believe that they shouldn't.

Cons: The service portal is abysmal, slow, and barely functional. The customer support is terrible. Transfer speed is terrible and the app crashes frequently

Cons: Nach fast drei Jahren Nutzung kam es nun zu einem Daten-GAU und ich musste ca. 1,5TB an Daten wiederherstellen. Zu meiner Überaschung läuft die Wiederherstellung nur mit ca. 2Mbit/s was natürlich viel zu langsam ist. Also habe ich mich für die Zusendung eines Backup-Mediens per Courier für knapp 100 USD entschieden. Nun kam aber die Überaschung. Carbonite versendet NUR an US-Bürger. Jegliche Postfächer können NICHT benutzt werden. Ich komme also nicht zeitnah an meine Daten. Es droht also der totale Datenverlust. Danke Carbonite !!!

Pros: It backs up my files some of the time. It's relatively easy to get your files back, the files it actually backs up.

Cons: * It rarely backs up my files. The backup is usually more than 60 days old.* Service fails constantly* A tool that is supposed to save me time and money is now costing me hours and hours of troubleshooting and support calls

Pros: It has good functionality on all the basics features.

Cons: It lacks file sharing and doesn't have many features.

Cons: Storage from Carbonite is costly, if you need to backup a lot of data it may not be the best solution

Pros: Carbonite is easy to implement. I don't have to worry about it keeping my data safe with the automatic backups.

Cons: It's a little more expensive than some of the others.

Pros: Setup was easy, installed in minutes. Initial cloud backup started right away

Cons: Integration with our ticketing system was fine. Random invoices though about our contract were puzzling at times.

Pros: Once setup it is hands off and if you need to do a restore it is easy to do.

Cons: For us it just worked. We have not had any issues taking backups. We then use carbonite to restore to new systems as we rotate out hardware

Pros: Able to encrypt with higher-level encryption keys than alternatives like Backblaze, which was a requirement for the business. Continuous background tool is one of the smoothest-operating I've worked with - files backup on a regular basis without user interaction, and tracks version history for easy rollback for 30 days.

Cons: The online portal is very slow, and doesn't add much value to the tool.

Cons: clunky, hard to manage, not intuitive, restoring is not easy or simple, high priced compared to others.

Pros: I found nothing positive about this software. Software was not as user friendly as the backup company Carbonite bought out. Sorry I kept with it but also shocked to see their deletion policy.

Pros: Peace of mind. At any point in time, I know if my hard drive system were to be compromised, by disaster or stolen or other calamity--I could be back in business with all documents and files uploaded into a new computer hard drive system. I have stored in my system at this moment in time 249,577 files - work from over 10 years is compiled here for my marketing clients. My invoices and accounting are backed up. My IRS files are backed up.

Cons: As I was recommended to Carbonite by my IT guy, he is the one installed the software and also uploaded all of the docs and files when I purchase new hardware. So if I were to lose my data I would need to figure out how to do it and/or pay him to help me. I trust experts when it comes to my data and security, so this is not a huge issue for me.

Pros: Easy to use, easy to schedule backups. Easy to restore files or groups of files.

Cons: None that I can think of. It works great.

Pros: I have tried another "famous" product and found it extremely difficult to get everything backed up. With Carbonite I can see the status immediately and change settings as needed without having to go through a number of pages.

Cons: Not anything. Having used this product for over 10 years I have never had a complaint or recommendation for improvement. This software performs exactly as advertised and as I need.

Pros: The peace of mind knowing that all your critical files have been backed up in the Carbonite Cloud. With the amount of digital files one stores over time, it is critical to know that they are safe and in one location.

Cons: The only drag is the amount of time it takes to get all your data back.

Pros: It is nice that it provides backup - but we were told can access it remotely and that was not easy or even possible sometimes. It wouldn't upload

Cons: Does not work well for business that try to access the files.
