It is a popular platform, easy and direct. Pretty simple and help to collect information in a convenient way.
Pros: It is very easy to navigate, the creation of forms function is easy to set up and provide a direct and convenient way to set up the forms.
Cons: It will be easier for users if it provide multiple submissions at the same time. Right now, uses lose their record if they have a pending one and try to submit another form.

Excellent as a way for me to gain information from clients but also communicate key details with them and check their understanding of them. Saves me a lot of time and guarantees they have read and processed information which they’ve had to answer on.
Pros: Ability to set up and share a form and read through responses which can be kept or deleted as necessary.
Cons: Sometimes it can be a bit clunky to set up your questions and alternatives for the answers but once it’s done, it’s so useful.

My overall experience with Microsoft forms was very positive with each poll being easy to implement and easy to collate the data.
Pros: What I liked most about Microsoft Forms is how simple it was to post polls to my team and collate the results. With integration with Microsoft teams this is simple and effective.
Cons: The only issue I had with Microsoft forms is that in a small business it does not hold value for money as the polls are not frequent.
Lyn J. · Senior Manager · Construction · April 18, 2026
Overall the experience has been enjoyable. It is fun creating polls or surveys quick and easy. With direct links to Microsoft accounts, I can track the data very easily.
Pros: Microsoft Forms is an excellent tool to use if you have the 365 suite. Being able to directly link a form or survey to your account, or reference other accounts, really help when collecting data. The survey designs are simple enough that everyone can understand what is going on. Despite that, the customizations are very tailored to simplistic form design. Containing it within the Microsoft 365 environment helps give a sense of security as well.
Cons: Some of the functionality can be a little too basic in comparison to other advanced form tools. Microsoft forms makes up for it with its ease of use though.

As I have been using it for more than 3 years now and this software helped us in making sure that each response is collected and organized automatically.
Pros: Microsoft forms is a software that helps us in creating clean surveys and data collection forms. This tool help us in creating one of the simplest questionnaires that we have worked on till now.
Cons: it works on a basic structure so for checking out complex data and other detailed analysis we need to do extra work outside the platform and while trying to customize the design the options start feeling very limited.

My overall experience with Microsoft forms was good and I would recommend others to get the product.
Pros: What I like most about Microsoft forms is it stands by the Microsoft office name of always being excellent quality and reliability.
Cons: There is not anything I liked least about Microsoft forms. I actually did not have any issues or complaints or concerns.

It is a user-friendly platform that works seamlessly with Teams, OneDrive, Excel, and SharePoint for data sharing.

Pros: Microsoft Forms makes it easy for me to get consumer feedback and sign-ups for different events. The templates are easy to use and the data is formatted in an understandable way. It's also super easy to share forms for collaboration through this platform.
Cons: Sometimes the forms feel limited in their capacity. I really wish they had an option similar to Sign-Up Genius for events.

I have used Forms for years in a range of applications. It can be useful for collection of opinions, preference or qualitative and quantitative data. I would recommend it as a starting point as most people know how to use it. However, it could be better designed with more spirit.
Pros: Microsoft Forms works well enough to function as a data collection tool and survey use. It is mostly reliable, easy enough to use and they have added some usability features such as duplicating questions and sections to speed up the survey creation process.
Cons: The UI of Microsoft Forms is not the best. It feels a bit dated, boring and clunk at times. There isn’t much joy in using it, and there is not much AI integration to make you think about your audience. Creating a survey is creative, but using Forms doesn’t feel that fun.

Setting up and using forms is easy. Analysis right there in Excel is simple, great ways to collaborate with others in your Office365 organization
Pros: - the tie in to the MS365 / MS Office Environment makes it frictionless, also for teams working in Office365
Cons: - some things are a bit less flexible than other solutions, but no deal breakers here - style wise it looks a bit old, could be more modern

I found Microsoft Forms simple and easy to use. I was able to navigate fairly easily and create professional surveys and other forms.
Pros: So many templates to use, creation of surveys. Quick and easy to gather data when needed in a short period.
Cons: Don’t really least like anything about Microsoft Forms. It’s a great program and with so many alike out there give Microsoft a try.

I like it! My students used it to create surveys for their social media use project in psychology class. It was a great tool to use to collect their data
Pros: My district uses Microsoft products, but students tend to know more about Google than Microsoft Forms is luckily very user friendly, and anyone who has used Google Forms can easily figure out how to use Microsoft Forms.
Cons: I honestly wish that it would create a QR code. I recently helped a colleague make a form to use for her caring closet, and I had to use a separate app to make the QR code.

Overall, it has helped us to improve processes around our agency. There was a learning curve for some folks but overall its been good.
Pros: I like that it integrates into our email so folks can complete with easy and I can integrate the form into an email message
Cons: I don't like that it is not easily customizable. I would like to be able to include photos, documents, etc. for folks to review while they are in the form, not have to access separately.

Overall, I’ve had a very good experience using Microsoft Forms; it is fast, accessible, and integrates seamlessly with the Microsoft ecosystem
Pros: Microsoft Forms is easy to use and allows me to create surveys quickly with a clean and intuitive interface. The integration with Excel and other Microsoft 365 tools makes data collection and analysis very convenient. It works smoothly across devices, which makes responding and reviewing results accessible anywhere.
Cons: The customization options are limited, especially when it comes to formatting and design. Conditional logic is still basic compared to other survey platforms, which restricts more advanced survey structures. The reporting visuals are helpful but not as detailed or flexible as they could be for deeper analysis.

Cons: there wasnt much i disliked abt microsoft forms as i benefited every time i used the software. the survey and quiz creation was best.
Jessica C. · Home school for children · Education Management · November 24, 2025
Pros: The credibility that comes with Microsoft products. There are plenty of existing users and Microsoft is likely the selected enviorments in certain verticals, so it's useful to be familar with
Cons: I still don't know why Microsoft Forms is paid when Google Forms and all the others Forms are free. Other than being the first, I don't see a competitive advantage.

Overall, Microsoft Forms was easy to use and reliable for collecting feedback, though it lacked some advanced customisation options.
Pros: I liked Microsoft Forms for its simple interface and quick setup, making it easy to create surveys and collect responses efficiently.
Cons: Some customisation options were limited, and advanced features felt basic, which made complex surveys harder to create effectively.
Anonymous User · Mechanical Engineer · Animation · November 18, 2025
Pros: - Intuitive interface that makes creating and sharing forms quick and straightforward - Real-time results tracking with easy-to-read charts and automatic data export to Excel - Integration with other Microsoft 365 tools
Cons: - Limited customisation options for design and branding compared to tools like Typeform or Google Forms - Logic branching and conditional questions can be clunky and restrictive - Reporting features feel basic, lacks deeper analytics or filtering without exporting data

I like Microsoft Forms; it's great that it comes with our Microsoft Suite. It makes it a good value for our money if we're already paying for it. It's also easy to use and navigate.
Pros: I love the dynamic options for design and customization. Being able to utilize videos and sound can really compliment forms. My preference is for forms that collect and display data in an easy to visualize way, so that is a bonus. It's also helpful when trying to make sure my team responds thanks to being able to send it directly to the organizational emails.
Cons: I am not sure how secure the platform is, but that is due to my own lack of knowledge. I have not looked into that, so don't weigh that factor of the decision on me. From all I can tell, it is anonymous when need to be and not when not needed.

Excellent! Easy and very productive tool. I really recommend it especially when dealing with a large number of employees.
Pros: Microsoft Forms is an essential tool to any incorporate! I like it because it makes the application very easy to manage with a large member. Also, it easy for customization with different needs. The survey design is good and very insightful. Customer supports are very helpful when you have any issue. The program has a very good security as well as the data collection is protected. Finally, the program is price friendly, and if you have a 365 subscription you might be able to use it for free.
Cons: I have been using Microsoft Forms a little while and I have not experienced any problem with it. I really like it.
Abdullah A. · Structural Engineer · Civil Engineering · October 12, 2025
The overall experience had with Microsoft Forms is positive. The value for the money is exceptional, the customer support is helpful, and the overall data collection is exactly what is needed.
Pros: The overall survey design is professional and functional for any industry that may need to use it. It is very customizable.
Cons: There is nothing that I dislike about Microsoft Forms, it is a very well thought out program that I feel many industries would use.

Anonymous User · Formateur Technique · Printing · September 9, 2025
Pros: Flexible format, customization and ability to add questions in different ways. Different links for viewing, editing and collaboration which enhances security features. Being able to automate responses and output them into MS Planner as tasks.
Cons: Not very smooth design, layout is more spread-out on the page. Would look better if it could be more tailored in presentation.
