Formidable Forms

Pros: The thing I like most about Formidable (apart from the support), is that I no longer need to create a Stripe payment link, or WooCommerce variable product for every software license (tiered pricing) that we sell. Using Formidable to dynamically create products with a Stripe payment from is that we can legally implement UK Disability VAT Exemption it's eligibility questions, and the possible removal of VAT, depending upon the radio buttons selection. I have used conditional logic to ensure that these questions only appear when either England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, or Wales is selected from the "Country" menu. Compared to another form plugin, the design area has accessible scroll bars, not skinny wafer thin lines with no clickable arrows. Some of us web designers have disabilities, so an accessible design environment is essential.

Cons: The ability to globally change the red asterisk to "red * (required) would be extremely helpful, as would physical resizing of fields using the mouse pointer. A "search and replace" facility for text (product names and prices) would be very useful for after duplicating and existing form.

Pros: Always quick and ready to help resolve any issue! The support team responds fast, provides clear guidance, and ensures everything is up and running in no time. Excellent, reliable service every time!

Cons: Their service is absolutely top-notch! Every query is handled quickly and professionally, and issues are resolved without delay. They’re always willing to help and go above and beyond — truly dependable and efficient.

Pros: Have used for years, as well as Gravity Forms. Both are good, but Formidable is more feature-complete, with many native extensions instead of paying for and managing multiple third-party addons. We always use Formidable unless a client specifically insists on Gravity.

Cons: I don't like how Formidable does a "full screen" takeover, I wish the rest of the WP Admin was still usable when you're in forms.

Pros: The product has frequent releases of very helpful new features that do not seem to need much training.

Cons: There can be confusion about what features are free versus what features require a paid subscription.

Pros: Nothing compare to other its rivals! you pay some hundreds euros and get too much headache. am writing this for those that have a mid to complex e-commerce.

Cons: We used Formidable on our WordPress e-commerce site for several months. It was unstable: features worked one day and failed the next, and changes in one area caused regressions elsewhere. This led to repeated downtime and significant project delays. Support responses were slow and not solution-oriented, and the annual price (hundreds of euros) is impossible to justify given the results. We have removed it and reliability immediately improved. I cannot recommend it.

Pros: Formidable forms plugin is one of the most robust form apps for wordpress but what i like the most about it is the designs of the form. It's so well styled and blends with any wordpress theme. Highly recommend.

Cons: Spam submissions were a lot while I used formidable forms so it's important to setup captchas otherwise there will be lots of spam submissions.

Pros: the integration with zapier and also exporting all views in CSV which can be used in many places afterward

Cons: how difficult to let users filter the data as they need

Pros: The amount of features is intense, which is a good thing but it takes a bit to get used to it.

Cons: Complex, as one can do a lot with it. Other plugins are maybe easier to use but do not have that much features.

Pros: Extremely robust platform with many features.

Cons: I am still a bit confused with the advanced features, but the support is always just an email away :-)

Pros: Look up, section and Likert scale properties.

Cons: We want to edit more advanced conditional logic properties.

Pros: Formidable Forms gives me the possibility to create so many type of forms and achieve all my needs.

Cons: It is full of features and cover every possibility.

Pros: Great form plugin with an amazing amount of functionality that continues to grow and innovate. Excellent customer support and a wealth of very good FAQ's and howtos.

Cons: Nothing really. The UI has improved considerably over the 3 years I've been using the plugin, which was my only original issue.

Pros: The ease of creating complex forms without needing much technical knowledge. I appreciate the pre-built templates, extensive customization options, and powerful integrations that help automate workflows and data collection.

Cons: Occasionally, the interface can feel overwhelming for first-time users, especially with advanced options, but the learning curve is manageable.

Pros: What I liked most about Formidable Forms is the new User Registration Repeater. It has significantly streamlined the process of creating multiple user accounts, saving me a tremendous amount of time and effort. I also appreciate the plugin's user-friendly interface and extensive customization options.

Cons: I haven't encountered any significant drawbacks with Formidable Forms yet. Small setbacks are quickly handled by the Customer Service.

Pros: You can build very complex applications with it.

Cons: Using language plugins in combination with FF can be tough sometimes.

Pros: The infinity of things you can create. You really have no limits, it is not a simple form to receive contacts, it is much more! You can create a personalized registration form, you can create an email list that you will then use to inform your employees for example, you can create personalized pages through a form and much more! Calling it a FORM is really reductive. I recommend it!

Cons: If I have to find a "defect" it is the poor integration with page builders like Elementor (the most famous) and the poor integration with SMS gateways, you can only use it with Twilio and it's a shame. But I repeat, it's just if you want to find the "nit in the egg"!

Pros: Formidable Forms excels with its multistep forms, providing an engaging user experience. The seamless ConvertKit integration simplifies lead management, and the powerful conditional logic allows for dynamic, customized forms tailored to user interactions.

Cons: The plugin has a steep learning curve, especially for beginners, and some advanced features like quiz, survey, polls and especially integration with Woocomerce are only available in higher-priced plans, which may not suit all budgets.

Pros: A ton of features added to Wordpress. It is especially powerful to add own data structures (here a list of events) to wordpress.

Cons: Some of the features feel not complete. Like the listing on Google Maps which was missing for a long time. Now it is there but it misses clustering.

Pros: Longtime user of Formidable Forms on MANY sites, and use it daily. The forms are amazing, but it's the features that seal the deal for me. I use almost everything offered in some form. Conditional formatting, zapier integration, Mailchimp, Woocommerce, Views... You name it, Formidable does it! It's pretty easy straightforward and simple to implement. Customer support is always incredible.

Cons: The only negative for me is how Formidable's media upload folder can get bloated if one uses it to display views with large lists containing images.

Pros: The ease of use and the complete functionality are unprecedented.

Cons: They sometimes try to add features that are unneeded and don't consider customers' needs; they add them whether customers need or want them.

Pros: Formidable Forms is incredibly easy to work with. The form builder is very intuitive, there are quite a few built in options available requiring no outside integration to add features.

Cons: When you have a form with a lot of fields/conditionals, the interface tends to be a bit buggy. There also at times appears to be quality control issues upon update releases, leading to software bugs.

Pros: Templates, Intuitive Interface, Relatively Easy to Setup, Interesting Ways to Use Data, Great Styles, Feature Rich Compared to Competitors

Cons: A Bit Pricey (but not really for the features), Not as Well Known as Other Form Builders (so possibly less integrations).
