Good experience creating a variety of presentations, be they simple or complex and design-intensive, with functionality being consistent throughout product.
Pros: Versatility and number of options for use within app have steadily grown over time, making it even better for creating quality presentations.
Cons: The insertion of outside content, be it audio or video or some other type, is often still a challenge and not nearly as seamless as it should be at this point.

I love it! It is easy to use and will accomplish the goal of creating a great presentation that looks good and can be used in any setting.
Pros: Microsoft Powerpoint is easy to use, easy to customize, and a wonderful way to make presentations visually appealing.
Cons: Microsoft powerpoint can be very text heavy, formatting and fonts may be different depending on the version you have or format for presenting.

My overall experience with PowerPoint has been really good. It’s still the tool I’d trust most for professional presentations because it’s familiar, flexible and accepted almost everywhere. The core product is really good, but the AI integrations feel like they’re still catching up. For now, PowerPoint remains the golden standard for slides, with room to improve on AI-assisted creation.
Pros: PowerPoint is still the standard for creating slide presentations. It’s reliable, widely recognised and easy to share across teams, clients and businesses. I like that it gives you a lot of control over layout, branding, formatting and presentation flow. The Microsoft 365 integration is also a big advantage, especially when working with Teams, Outlook, Word and Excel
Cons: The AI features could be better. Copilot can help with outlines, slide drafts, edits and summaries, but other presentation tools already feel more advanced and easier for AI-led slide creation. PowerPoint’s AI support is useful, but it doesn’t yet feel as natural or creative as it could be

My experience with Microsoft PowerPoint has been nothing short of AWESOME! It’s user-friendly for teachers and students.
Pros: What I like most about PowerPoint is being able to embed the slideshow to another program. It’s important for E-learning.
Cons: There’s nothing I like least. I find every part of Microsoft PowerPoint beneficial and easy to use. My students find it easy to use as well which is important.

Overall, my experience with Microsoft PowerPoint has been very positive. It’s reliable, user-friendly, and makes it easy to create organized and visually appealing presentations for work, school, or meetings.
Pros: I liked how easy it is to create professional presentations with templates, graphics, and animations. It’s simple to use and works well for both quick presentations and more detailed projects.
Cons: Some advanced design features can take time to learn, and large presentations with lots of media can sometimes run slowly.

Really positive, the upgrades in tools and templates have been fantastic over the years, including some really slick animation slides and shadows.
Pros: It's still the simplest presentation creation platform to use. Keeping the same user interface whilst adding useful tools, templates and features has been a key reason it's still my go-to.
Cons: For the price point of the software it's really hard to find negatives about it, as the platform does many tasks incredibly well. One feature that could be improved in my opinion is the ease of removing background from images, with many sites now finder introvert ways on acheiving this Microsoft Powerpoint still lacks a quick and crisps removal of backgrounds.

Overall I have a very positive experience with Microsoft Powerpoint. It is easy to trust and I do not have to worry about it crashing on me. It keep my work safe and secure.
Pros: I love Microsoft Powerpoint. We use it for our graduation slides every year because it is so dependable. It is easy to share the presentation to other trusted colleges as well. It is a great program that is easy to rely on. It is easy to manage the document slides between coworkers.
Cons: I do not have any complaints to bring up about Microsoft Powerpoint. I think it is a trusted program.

Overall, I am quite impressed with MS PowerPoint. Using it to create presentations for clients or complex corporate structure charts has made look like a dependable professional and that's what really matters when it comes to what makes the cut in my tech stack.
Pros: MS PowerPoint helps me create clean, concise and simple projects/presentations for both clients I work with and other professionals. It's easy to use, has very little to no bugs or issues, and can incorporate multi-media aspects (e.g. videos) with ease.
Cons: There aren't many cons that come to mind, but I have had some issues with some specialized charts not formatting properly, which did some create issues for me when I was preparing important charts for a client.

Been using it for 25 years, hasnt really changed a whole lot from inception til now. Works great for presentation and has tons of templates
Pros: Powerpoint does its job well, and it is an industry standard tool. Great for templates, easy to use, few bugs and issues, and also solid at document management. Meh value for the money
Cons: Like with any Microsoft product, it is expensive for what it is. Sometimes it bugs out and crashes. Frustrating

My over all experience has been rewarding. I have used this to creating learning tools for new hire employment, to meetings presentations, and also using them for ongoing training for certifications and compliance.
Pros: I love the fact that you can use so much creativity for meetings, or training. They are good teaching guides.
Cons: Can not say I dislike anything about PowerPoint. I enjoy this product. No complaint here. I have used over 15 yrs.

GLENN TERYLL JORDAN N. · Qualiticien · Hospital & Health Care · April 29, 2026
I enjoy using it and have been able to create high level content with it to deliver a high caliber of presentations.
Pros: its very user friendly and a good tool for presentations, which allows you to be very creative but it also provides you with suggested template examples, based on what you have created.
Cons: Some of the graphic that are on the tool can be quite limiting, and it would be good to have more options when animating content.
Amita G. · Learning and Development Coordinator · Financial Services · April 27, 2026
Pros: I like that I can easily train new employees by making a power point on all the basics for each department we have in our company.
Cons: There’s nothing to dislike. You just need to know how to use the platform. It’s a very useful tool when you know what you’re doing.

My overall experience has been very positive. I have been using it for years, and I really like how it has adapted over time and to the changes of daily life.
Pros: As a student, PowerPoint was a part of each and every one of my presentations and oral reports. I truly loved how intuitive the program becomes over time, and how quickly you can learn to use it. I can say that, even after graduating, PowerPoint continues to be a part of my life—specifically for informational presentations displayed in the waiting area of my business.
Cons: I currently have no complaints about the program. I might say that the licensing fee can be a bit of a hassle at times, but as a student, I was sometimes able to find programs that helped cover the membership for a full year. Now, with modern technology and AI, the application might see less use—but there is nothing quite like doing things yourself. 100% recommended.

I have used Microsoft PowerPoint to develop trainings, workshops and tutorials. It has been an effective application to use for work.
Pros: Microsoft PowerPoint has been an easy way for me to complete assignments or documents. It has many features that are beneficial like video editing, templates and many pictures. It is cost effective.
Cons: Microsoft PowerPoint is efficient and I have nothing negative to say about it. I have enjoyed using it
cynthia r. · Clinician · Mental Health Care · April 24, 2026
Pros: Fantastic for designing and presenting simple presentations for lectures and class presentations with a selection of customizable templates.
Cons: Drag and drop features are tricky to use and templates are relatively simple. Licensing cost also high for individuals who will not be using it consistently.
Layla T. · Copyeditor · Writing and Editing · April 23, 2026

Microsoft Powerpoint is an excellent product with a high upfront cost. I have zero complaints about the product, it simply wasn't the right choice for my business model.
Pros: Microsoft Powerpoint is an excellent option for creating presentations and so much more. Its integrated video editing and templates made it my initial choice when looking for software I could use for creating presentations for my small business. It's easy to use and rarely experiences bugs or issues so it being a top choice is a no brainer.
Cons: In the end I didn't choose to use Microsoft Powerpoint because the cost was so much higher than other comparable options. For a larger business with more overhead it might be the best option, but as a provider in solo private practice, it simply didn't make financial sense.
Shea G. · Counselor · Health, Wellness and Fitness · April 20, 2026

Overall, in the school setting, it is a powerful tool to organize and share information with ease. We often use it for parent meetings, and especially in our college counseling department.
Pros: I love how easy it is to create a presentation even when you aren't the most computer savvy individual.
Cons: To use PowerPoint in front of a large group, you need a projector and cable and sometimes I run into glitches when connecting or sharing my slides.
Natalie C. · Admissions Coordinator · Education Management · April 15, 2026
I frequently use it to make presentation slides, and I adore how simple it is to create presentation slides. I save a lot of time by downloading templates and editing them later.
Pros: Because of its freestyle editing interface, moving around photos is simple. This simplifies the process of creating presentations. I so much like the fact that it doesn't have bugs problems. I like their customer service so much !
Cons: Some features, like adding transitions between integrating video into a presentation, can be a little bit challenging to do.
Sarah E. · Microbiologist · Hospital & Health Care · April 15, 2026
Overall, I am very happy with Microsoft PowerPoint. It is a tool that I have used for many years and as a result, I am familiar with how to use it.
Pros: Microsoft PowerPoint is an excellent tool that allows me to create presentations with ease with many additional creative features.
Cons: The UI/UX of Microsoft PowerPoint is personally not as visually appealing when compared to other presentation and marketing tools.
Nikolas H. · Quality Engineer · Medical Devices · April 14, 2026
Pros: PowerPoint is the granddaddy of slide deck presentation software. It's easy to make clear slides, and it's full of features like animations, transitions, and to add images. There are a lot of templates, and it's easy to customize everything
Cons: It's super old-school, and not as flashy as Prezi, and generally considered the standard but a little boring.

Overall I would say that Microsoft PowerPoint is amazing and I have had a great experience using it over the past few years!
Pros: I like that you can create your own power points with Microsoft PowerPoint and that it is easy to use. You can use templates that are already incorporated in it, or make your own. Great customer support and value for money, no bugs or issues and it is great for video editing and document management!
Cons: The only thing that I can say that I dislike about Microsoft PowerPoint is that sometimes I have issues with incorporating my own video or voice over into my power points, which is something that I have needed to do for an assignment for a class.
Reagan H. · Optician · Medical Practice · April 9, 2026
Pros: Microsoft PowerPoint is the essential presentation builder and has all the features needed to make a great slide deck! It is very easy to use, has lots of beautiful and customizable templates, and is easy to present with. I love being creative with it!
Cons: I wish there were more shortcuts to use with this platform like Microsoft Excel! This may be user-error or personal ignorance, but I would love to work with the platform more efficiently with shortcuts to make slides that coordinate well.
