Overall it is a great tool within the google platform and is easy to use and create and share with others.
Pros: Google slides is easy to use and comparable to powerpoint. It’s also nice that it allows me access to drive and is linked into gmail.
Cons: Sometimes the cross compatibility between platforms is tough and requires some adjustments and changes.

I use Google Slides every day in my classroom. It is a great way to project assignments on my TV screen as students come into my classroom. I also use it to project a daily riddle on the screen as students come back to my classroom after lunch. Google slides helps me maintain an orderly, well managed, quiet classroom.
Pros: I use Google Slides every day in my classroom to project daily assignments on my classroom TV screen. It is a valuable tool I have grown to depend on in my classroom to start our school day. Students come into my classroom, they see the assignment on the screen, and quietly get started. What a blessing!
Cons: Occasionally, if I let my mouse hover over slideshow, it will change out of the full screen mode. I then have to click on it again and move the mouse.

Overall, Google Slides is a great tool to use when making presentations. It is helpful in communicating reports, statistics, and other information.
Pros: Google Slides is a great resource for presentations, collaboration, communication, etc. The templates and styles are versatile, it is easy to use, and the value for money is incredible.
Cons: I wish it were a little easier to be creative. The tool is great for professional use and informational slides, but it is more difficult to add creativity easily.

Google slides is an amazing software for presentations. Whether it's forecasting, budgets, or quarterly goals. This has been an amazing platform to work with.
Pros: Google slides is a super easy platform to operate. The templates are both professional but also very customizable for any presentation we throw at it. Customer support is A+ and the value is equally amazing.
Cons: Ocassional bugs when there's multiple users but Google's customer support is amazing at getting us back on track

It’s an easy-to-use, reliable tool that makes creating presentations straightforward, even for beginners. The real-time collaboration feature stands out the most, since it allows multiple people to work on the same presentation at once without confusion.
Pros: Easy collaboration: Multiple people can edit in real time, which makes group projects much smoother. Cloud-based access: You can open and edit presentations from any device without needing to install anything.
Cons: Formatting inconsistencies: Slides may look slightly different when opened in other programs like PowerPoint. Dependency on Google account: You need to be signed in to access and edit files easily.

I enjoy using Google Slides when partnering with other Team Members on projects so we can edit in real time to complete a project.
Pros: Very easy to learn. Works similarly to PowerPoint, so not much of a learning curve. The Google Suite offers an array of programs for low cost.
Cons: I can't think of any drawbacks to using the program. I have never had an issue that required extra support.

Google slides has been a good experience. I used it a lot during university for collaborative projects and also in my business to create social media posts.
Pros: Free, easy to use, has a wide variety of templates that are easy to edit and customize. It's great for collaboration with others as well.
Cons: I wish I able to export my slides to google docs and create and edit my slides there for use as other documents.
Stephanie W. · Owner · Consumer Services · April 10, 2026
Pros: It's free with a Google account! Slides work great for presentations; it's super easy to use, the templates are sufficient for most business and professional situations, and you can customize the decks fairly simply.
Cons: It's not as robust as PowerPoint, and it's not as flashy as something like Prezi; the features are a little limited
Anonymous User · Career Advisor · Higher Education · April 9, 2026
Pros: Google slides makes it easy to create a presentation for nearly any scenario, while keeping it easy to share with others
Cons: While Google has added many more themes to Slides as the years have gone on, I wish there was a marketplace of sorts for free user made themes

Overall, a great experience. I would continue using google slides if my current job was not an MS Office company. I also like the easy integration of Google with apple products. These two seem to go hand in hand.
Pros: I love google slides. All throughout college and into my work life I used Slides. to Customization options are great and its easy to use. I had the option of this or MS powerpoint and I chose Slides.
Cons: There were not any cons I had when using it. Although I probably did not use every feature, I was not able to find anything I did not like with what I did use.

I love it. It's light and easy to use, very short learning curve which makes it very duplicatable across the team.
Pros: Free to use for anyone with a Google account and it's cloud based and accessible from any device with a browser - no installation needed. Super easy to use with a large library of templates if you're not yet comfortable creating your own presentations from scratch.
Cons: It's cloud based with a convenient but it does mean that it needs an internet connection to work as intended. Also when compared to the Microsoft option there are less advanced animations and transitions.

I totally love this tool and used it a lot so far. I am a vivid fan of Google slides for is animation and AI features.
Pros: I love google slides and it's integration with too many tools is additional bonus. I liked the designing part and AI integration the best.

While this has been a great prop to help me prepare for presentations I have most enjoyed watching students as young as 4th grade learn to use it and make presentations thy are proud to share!
Pros: Google Slides has been an asset to our school as we introduce students to technology and various applications. It is easy to use, intuitive and provides a professional end product students are able to customize for their projects. Professionally it makes for easy collaboration on my team reducing turnaround time and improving productivity.
Cons: I haven’t found any aspect of Google Slides that I don’t like! Love that it’s easy to learn and I can quickly prepare a presentation to a variety of audiences.

Overall, it's a good program, I use it regularly and although it's not PowerPoint, it's pretty close and get the job done.
Pros: Pretty easy to use and has many capabilities similar to PowerPoint. It's able to import PowerPoint documents and make them workable in Google slides.
Cons: It's similar to PowerPoint but could have some better features that I hope will get added in the future.

Google Slides is an excellent platform to create and manage presentations for truly any purpose. It is uncomplicated and a good choice for beginners!
Pros: I love Google Slides as both an educator and as a manager. It is easy to use and create presentations through the many templates offered and the ability to create my own.
Cons: The only cons I've encountered with Google Slides seems to have stemmed from my own making. Moving text and photos on mobile is hard due to the sensitive nature of the boxes but that is only on mobile!

I’ve used Google slides to create presentations for work and personal projects. I like the creative and visually appealing designs available
Pros: Google slides offers a creative way to create a presentation for personal and professional presentations. I like the format and design options available
Cons: There isn’t really much I don’t like about Google slides except sometimes it’s difficult to transfer to another format, like Microsoft. Also, information doesn’t always fit on the slides.

Amazing platform for designing presentations, accessible from different types of devices, and easy sharing of presentations via links.
Pros: I like Good slides for a couple of reasons: 1. Real-time collaboration on the projects as a team or presenters 2. Auto-saving is an excellent feature that helps users concentrate on designing without worrying about losing data 3. It integrates with other Google Services 3. It is free for all Google Users.
Cons: It could be better if it allowed users to work on it offline. In addition, it seems to have few advanced features compared to similar platforms, such as Excel.

Really great as a collaborative presentation product. Would recommend for teams who often work together on a single presentation.
Pros: Live collaboration is the best part about Google slides, having multiple people being able to update at the same time makes creating group presentations seamless.
Cons: Large file sizes or designs being incorporated to presentations can be an issue when on site and little access to good internet.

I love Google Slides because they are very easy to use. They are professional and simple. They are good for meetings.
Pros: Google Slides are good for professional use. They are very easy to use and easy to customize. They are also free with any Google Suite.
Cons: The templates and designs are limited. They are available to all team members unless you make sure that all are not visible.
Yolanda P. · Founder · Education Management · January 8, 2026
I use it on a weekly basis. I create a ton of slide presentations and like that I don’t have to save the slides to a thumb drive. I just need to login and open the presentation. Also, like that, I can pull a sly presentation up on my phone for review and preparation.
Pros: The platform is very easy to use, and our city has adopted Google as its official platform. I also like that I can access it and make changes in a variety of ways, while also providing edit access to other users.
Cons: The program does have some limitations feature wise in comparison to Microsoft PowerPoint. Specifically, PowerPoint has adopted artificial intelligence features.

Pros: It allows the user to make presentations very easily for any occasion. There are plenty of templates to choose from and ways to customize. It is great for work but also for personal.
Cons: There is not a thing that I do not like about Google Slides. It is a great tool to use so I have no complaints.

Grateful it exists as a free service. Google office seems to have less chaos happening than microsoft office
Pros: it's free. never needed customer support. everything works easily and with no bugs or issues. there's some helpful templates to use and a wide range of options for design customization. I've used it for large presentations as a professional.
Cons: It has slightly less features than microsoft powerpoint paid version, but for a free product i am not complaining.
Breanna G. · Program Director · Health, Wellness and Fitness · December 11, 2025
Overall it is great and I definitely prefer it over power point. It’s smoother and i definitely took to it more “naturally” than I did power point.
Pros: Ease of use, PowerPoint is more “clunky” it does not flow as well as Google slides. Maybe is a visual or aesthetic.
Cons: I think it should open up more premade slides. I’m in Emergency management and that field has yet to be covered. I think it would be beneficial for the future.
