Pros: Fragmented information and data in excel sheets, critical for the laboratory's operations, are now in one database. Data from annual calibrations of the master instruments, are now immediately available and don't have to be inserted in different excel sheets. Much better overview of the calibration works and customers instruments
Cons: Some limitation in statistics and mathematic functions (eg linearity function) Could have better certificate generation
Theodosios P. · Head of Validation Laboratory - QA Manager · Mechanical or Industrial Engineering · February 7, 2024
Pros: Metquay is a new software that helped us to have all the instruments and their due dates more under control.
Cons: At the moment i can't find anything i like less
Camilla M. · Metrology lab coordinator · Oil & Energy · February 7, 2024
Pros: 1.It is easy to filter all the certificates based on dates in Metquay.2. There's no need to add an item again once it has been added to Metquay.3. The ability to have a fast report approval process with e-signatures is a great feature in Metquay.

Domain confidence 99%
Cons: 1. It would be better to receive a notification when sending generated reports for recheck to the assigned person.2.It would be helpful if you could upload images and documents in the procedures, but currently, it is not possible to preview them. 3.It would be easy to enter the data in the worksheet using the arrow keys of up and down.

I have realized that once the program is set up the way that fits our requirements, it will save our team a lot of time versus how we were doing things before.
Pros: Integration has been wonderful, the team at Metquay is very helpful and they explain everything.I think we have barely scratched the surface of what Metquay can do and I am excited to start using the full potential.
Cons: Integration was not difficult, I do wish there were more Youtube videos going a little more in depth but this was all solved by there team giving me very detailed walkthroughs and teaching me how to use the program the way I needed to, via video chats and screen shares!

Pros: We were looking for Asset Management software that we could use within our own Calibration side of the business', as well as offering various platforms to support our customer requirements. Metquay is really a one stop shop for all calibration processes.
Cons: We were looking for asset management software that could also cater for onsite Instrumentation Audits to give an overall total solution for our customers, Initially Metquay did not have this function, however we worked with Metquay to design and implement an Audit process within our Metquay software.

So far so good . We use this software to generate our service orders , prepare certificates , keep track of our master instruments and customer instruments and there calibration due dates . Overall so far Metquay served us really up to the mark . I wish to get same sort of service and continuous development from them .
Pros: We are calibration service provider in Bangladesh and we are among the very first who introduced such an effective and impactful software to this industry in Bangladesh . Among all the features the one feature which is very helpful to keep our business going smoothly is there auto calibration due date reminder to customers . it helps us keep a track of our upcoming jobs in line also customers appropriates this features as they are also benefited by this auto reminder to keep a track of there instruments which are close to the due dates .Other then this i would also like to mention that this software is very easy and user friendly in all context also there customer services is very cooperative and takes prompt actions .
Cons: So far there is nothing that i can mention that like least about this software .

The support from Metquay during our setup has been terrific. It starts with their tutorial videos that can be watched anytime. If that is not enough, their help desk is very responsive. Our maximum wait time on a response to a question is measured in hours and often minutes.
Pros: The cloud based access is a great help as we do most of our calibrations at customer sites. The email notification system is a huge help in keeping our tools calibrated on time and notifying customers about their instrument due dates. The software saves a lot of administrative time so we can be more proactive in selling calibration contracts and scheduling trips efficiently.
Cons: We have diagrams in our procedures on occasion and currently Metquay does not support this. However, they said they will work on this and I would expect they will have this feature soon.

Meeting the requirements which is to generate calibration labels and certificates.
Pros: Test Result Template can be automated because it works like Excel.
Cons: 1. Customization of the calibration certificate template is limited and can only be done by Metquay. 2. Internet is required to use it, use on onsite calibration can be difficult, if the internet is slow, so is the software. 3. Calibration label generation is tricky, ok for single printout but not for multiple batch prints. 4. Completing a calibration cycle takes time, need to select the procedure, technician every time.

Very good
Pros: Simple, they provided exactly what i asked.
Cons: I wish i could customize the labels myself.

Pros: Work Flow tracking
Cons: blank slate, needs a lot of data configuration by the client.

Overall, our experience with Metquay has been a positive one. We have slowly integrated Metquay as our lab management system, with some growing pains along the way; some self-inflicted, others just limitations of the database itself. The saving grace for our experience thus far is the outstanding customer service by [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] and his team. Difficult requests, specific to our industry and laboratory are accommodated promptly and professionally. For what we pay for the Metquay software, the customer service face exceeds what we expected. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] has spent hours on both phone calls and Zoom meetings during weekly meetings in an attempt to make our full transition to Metquay attainable. I can be very demanding and sometimes even impatient, [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] is neither of those things. His patience and support have been nothing short of outstanding.
Pros: $76
Cons: We haven't dealt with database platforms in the past, so it can seem unforgiving at times. Meaning, if you make a mistake entering an item or constructing a cal procedure and/or worksheet, there is no going back, which numerically speaking is a bit of a nightmare. This is likely due to our lack of experience with database software solutions, but it has caused the most frustration during the onboarding process. Additionally, the lack of a "help" menu or instructions guide resident in the software is somewhat of a weakness. Though the Metquay team does have videos available to answer some questions, wading through that type of media is much more ponderous that simply typing your question or topic into a search function within a "help" tab. That being said, the Metquay team somewhat tailors the database to your company, so a one-size-fits-all help menu, ultimately may simply be impractical.

Excellent customer service and support.
Pros: Metquay's senior leadership has demonstrated their commitment to our success through early implementation. They have provided significant hands-on support and technical guidance through our first six months using the software.
Cons: Metquay is a relatively new calibration lab management software provider with a limited track record, but they punch above their weight for the price point, functionality, and service.
Jonathan B. · CEO · Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing · March 22, 2021
Overall experience of Metquay is good. But with more using of this software more advantage & disadvantage shall come out.
Pros: Automated calculation of expanded uncertainty was not so easy. But Metquay this thing done. Also its keeping overall record of the company which retrieving is in fingertip.
Cons: One thing I found need to add is, there should have flexibility of certificate formatting like, if I require to configure the certificate in landscape mode then its not possible in existing system which is necessary. Also often in between work user is log out automatically which should take care by development team.
Kazi Sourov A. · General Manager (Quality,Operation,Marketing) · Mechanical or Industrial Engineering · August 4, 2020
Pros: It's been a pleasure working with their team so far. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] who heads the team is understanding and was quick to understand our pain points. We were able to switch from an excel based platform to an automated software version where we have history of all work done. Software can be customized as per individual requirement which is a huge +
Cons: Programming individual work sheets is the time consuming factor during transition from one software to the other.
MATHEWS J. · Business Development Manager · Oil & Energy · August 1, 2020
Good customer support
Pros: Everything you think of is already there and really helps...
Cons: Flow of the work is sometimes confusing .
BERLINMONY M. · Manager · Mining & Metals · August 13, 2019
Pros: Robust and Scaleable with uncertainty calculation.
Cons: Generating of worksheets. User has to know the flow sequence well to perform this part

Best software for Calibration & Testing laboratories. Have been searching/trying for such software since many years. As per my experience ( as an assessor of ISO/IEC 17025 since 15 years & running an accredited laboratory since 30 years ) there is no other software to provide so many features & at such a very reasonable cost.
Pros: 1. Flexible platform, can develop any activity ( templates, reports, admin rights etc ) as per our own requirements. 2. Ease in calculaton of Uncertainity of measurement ( just need to enter 5 or 10 repeated readings ). 3. 100% control on typographical/human errors. 4. Compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 2017. 5. Compliance with USFDA 21CFR part 11 ( for Pharma companies ). 6. Huge saving in cost & time.
Cons: 1. Data entry / Template development is time consuming process
Ashok N. · Managing Director · Industrial Automation · January 5, 2019

Pros: 1) It is beautifully designed to handle all the complexities of calibration process like Standard Instruments database, Customer Instruments database,Uncertainty calculation etc. 2) ISO/IEC:17025-2017 Compliant 3) Flexibility of handling calibration of all kinds of instruments
Cons: Creating Instrument formats (worksheet) is time consuming
Vaishali N. · Director Operations · Mechanical or Industrial Engineering · October 29, 2018
we are able to control our workflow, see which technician have done how many calibrations, that give us the opportunity to plan and organize in a better way
Pros: - easy to use - flexible creation of workflow, procedures - according 17025, in a audit extreme helpful, everything organized - our procedures get more lean - control over the total lab
Cons: perhaps a dashboard function for the lab management will help for a global overview
