Cons: The software itself has slowed down a bit in recent months. It has been lagging, logging users out at random, and experiencing odd glitches.

Overall, my experience with IndySoft was good. It performed well for calibration tracking and compliance needs, but usability and interface improvements would enhance the user experience.
Pros: What I liked most about IndySoft was how effectively it centralized calibration management. The software provided clear visibility into asset status, streamlined scheduling, and reliable documentation for audits and compliance. Its structured workflows helped improve consistency and efficiency across the calibration process.
Cons: While IndySoft is powerful, what I liked least was that certain features were not as user-friendly or flexible as they could be. Customization options were limited in some areas, and minor performance slowdowns occasionally impacted productivity.

Overall, IndySoft made my work more organized and efficient. Even with a few minor drawbacks, it was a helpful and reliable tool.
Pros: IndySoft was easy to use and understand. It kept all records in one place, sent reminders for due tasks, reduced paperwork, and helped minimize errors while saving time.
Cons: Sometimes it could be slow, and a few features took time to get used to. It also relies on good internet access.

IndySoft is a highly capable lab management solution that balances functionality, security, and usability. Despite minor learning curves, it significantly enhances efficiency and accuracy in lab operations, making it a worthwhile investment for any lab team.
Pros: IndySoft is a powerful and intuitive platform that makes lab operations seamless. I appreciated its robust access controls and permissions, which maintain data security while enabling team collaboration. The certificate and label printing features are efficient, saving time on routine tasks.
Cons: While IndySoft is feature-rich, some functions can feel complex initially and require a learning curve for new users. Certain advanced reporting and customization options may need additional training or support to fully utilize. Occasional performance slowdowns may occur when handling very large datasets, though these are generally manageable.

As long as Indysoft is concern the platform has an amazing features and insights especially its management team and support system are well worth following I will highly recommend Indysoft so long I keep using it.
Pros: I like Indysoft because it’s well calibrated software management, Many reviewers note that support teams are knowledgeable and helpful, especially when dealing with training or troubleshooting customization requests. IndySoft supports not only calibration tracking but also batch tracking, barcode scanning, scheduling automation, role-based security controls, and historical event tracking, they’re well managed and documented.
Cons: As long as I have used Indysoft software I have no complaints nor complex issues to dislike but I will only describe and say that without the knowledge of Indysoft, users can be slow on the website due to lack of training. Getting everything configured to suit specific workflows can be time-consuming.

It was tough at first, but now it is easier to use, and customer support is very helpful. IndySoft has made some great changes in the past few years.
Pros: Great for calibration management of all assets you own and calibrate. It's also great for performing calibrations and creating certificates.
Cons: It was tough to use at first, but now it is set up very well for our worldwide company. It has each asset in its own file and shows all the events that were performed and the date for each asset. This also makes every audit very easy on the company.
Tony R. · Supervisor · Construction · October 1, 2025
Pros: When everything works right, it is a great program. Entering a calibration event is definitely less time consuming than our other program. Being able to use templates makes entering new pieces of equipment easy.
Cons: I feel that the when you start out with the program, some canned certificates and worksheets would be helpful. I find it difficult to get technical support. Having to explain the same problem to different technician support personnel is frustrating.
Laura G. · Office manager · Automotive · September 30, 2025
Longtime user since Gage Insite. Customer support is always happy to help. Company listens to its customers.
Pros: Software is in tune with calibration lab needs and is very comprehensive. Developers are always trying to improve the software based on customer feedback. The value for your money exceeds other similar software types.
Cons: It does take somewhat of a learning curve to dive deeper in the software. Adding AI to the software would make things easier for newer users.
David G. · Test Equipment Coordinator · Automotive · September 26, 2025
Overall, our company Joint Matters, loves Indysoft and the team. We have had great success using its program to create our calibration documents.
Pros: This program is simple to use and has amazing features to implement. Its standard set up is pretty much the ay we operate with some small things extra.
Cons: Implementation of additional features is a large investment of time. There is a steep learning curve when going outside the standard set up.

I worked with IndySoft for 14 years before moving to a different project, but my company still uses it today. Overall, my experience has been positive: the system is highly flexible and offers strong customization options, even though it takes some time to get familiar with it. The features related to Calibration Management, Process Management, Asset Tracking, and Document Management are well-structured and quite comprehensive. I believe it’s hard to find the same combination of functionality and adaptability in other tools.
Pros: What I appreciated most about IndySoft Commercial Lab was its flexibility in adapting to our workflow and the depth of configuration options available. The interface is intuitive, and the ability to customize fields, processes, and reporting made it easy to align the system with our operational needs. It’s a platform that balances structure with adaptability, which is rare in lab management solutions.
Cons: What I liked least about IndySoft is that some features, while powerful, aren’t very intuitive at first. It takes a bit of time to get used to the interface and understand how to configure things properly. Depending on the complexity of your setup, you might even need someone dedicated to manage and maintain the system effectively. One thing that would make it even better is having a fully web-based version—something lightweight and accessible without relying on local installations.
Sandro G. · Project Manager · Facilities Services · September 18, 2025
IndySoft has been a valuable tool for managing calibration, assets, and documentation in one place. While the setup requires some effort, the ability to customize it to our exact processes makes it worth it. Once configured, it streamlines operations, improves compliance, and saves time across the board.
Pros: The biggest advantage of IndySoft is its customizability. While no system is perfect and issues do arise, the flexibility to tailor the platform to match our exact processes has been a huge benefit. Being able to adapt the software to fit our workflows instead of the other way around makes it a long-term investment worth the effort.
Cons: Getting IndySoft set up takes some time, and the many customization options can feel a bit overwhelming at first. However, once configured, the flexibility and long-term benefits outweigh the initial learning curve.

Pros: Indysoft is cost-effective, offering all-in-one solutions with full customization, intuitive editing tools for report generation, and automation features that minimize human error. It's also ideal for inventory management and tracking.
Cons: The customer support is only quick for premium users but for other users it takes time to respond to inquiries.
Verdiano L. · Project Engineer · Automotive · September 9, 2025
My experience with IndySoft has been pretty good overall. I like the fact that there are regular updates which means they are constantly working on fixing issues and including new features.
Pros: It's intuitive and easy to use with a solid set of features. It allows you to get into the weeds and modify many characteristics of your equipment and how you document them.
Cons: Changes seem to happen fairly often between updates without much warning. It's not a bad thing, but it can catch you off guard.
Joe E. · Lab Supervisor · Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing · August 28, 2025
Indysoft is great and super easy to use. When working properly it is the best thing to use for certificate making. Customer service is great for when you need trouble shooting. The engineers/software developers are super nice and are always ready to help you. I love how they set up zoom meetings and stay on line until all of your issues are resolved.
Pros: How easy you can customize the software for your needs.
Cons: the software tends to crash constantly. I fix the issue and for some reason the system does not automatically refresh. I have to refresh all setting manually and that usually fixes the issue.
