Ramp has been serving our company's financial needs for 6 months. The system has eliminated the need for Excel files for tracking spends and performing all necessary reconciliation procedures. Its main benefits include reduced time required for closing monthly balance and absence of need for controlling expenses because of set limits. Overall, it offers good value in terms of costs compared to the combination of apps it substitutes. I recommend it to everyone dealing with the same problems.
Pros: The onboarding process went much smoother than anticipated. Cards were issued and the spend limits were established on the very first day, and all employees quickly managed to navigate through the application with no issues whatsoever. Accounting integration takes care of almost all duties I had to fulfill manually in the past – it adds transactions to the ledger with the appropriate categorization and receipts included, saving time on closing month-end balance considerably. It is great how easy it is to manage invoices – once entered, they undergo automatic routing and are paid out without me having to chase people down via email messages. The user interface is intuitive and keeps frequently performed actions easily accessible; moreover, being a web-based product, it works on both my phone and PC without requiring installation. Regarding security concerns, I find granular control over the card settings useful as it helps to prevent mistakes in advance.
Cons: While accounting integration made my life easier, there were several challenges related to category mapping to be solved beforehand, and you might have to put extra effort into making it work in case your chart of accounts is specific. Some reporting options that go beyond the basics cannot be customized sufficiently to suit your needs, and sometimes it is necessary to export data into an external tool to analyze it further. There are no serious drawbacks yet, although I would suggest managing expectations to see that it is a fairly long and tedious process of setup despite what marketing says.

Pros: The UI for any user is very simple and clear on the application. IT is very easy to upload a receipt as you can also just text the receipt or email it. The notifications are not overbearing from the application. They are able to provide a virtual card for spending on corporate accounts.
Cons: Nothing I can think of. They could provide reminders of remaining amount unused for spending limits such as the culture team.

Pros: What I like most about Ramp now is it's user interface. It's appearance is very clean and smooth and esay to use
Cons: What I least like about ramp now is it's integrations and it's high pricing compared to the competition

I've had a good overall experience with Ramp. It's easy to use and saves a lot of time. Customer support isn't that great though. They are slow to respond.
Pros: What I like most about Ramp is how it matches the receipt and categorizes it as soon as a transaction posts.
Cons: What I like least about Ramp is that your balance is based on your bank account and can down suddenly.

Pros: Ramp is incredibly intuitive to use. The UX design is simple and is easy to navigate. It's easy to track spending.
Cons: It's occasionally difficult to log in to Ramp. At first I was using a Ramp log in and then it was somehow linked to my Gmail.

Overall, it has been very positive with no complaints about the usability of the technology itself. I am very satisfied with how we are using it to pay vendors.
Pros: Ramp makes bill payment a breeze. They have more logical functions as far as integrations and reporting than their competitors, the speed to vendor payment is swift, and they charge in a logical fashion, not some of the inflated rates of other players in the market.
Cons: They tend to be fragmented and continue to send sales pitches for the products that I am already enrolled in. So communications need improvement.

Overall the system is a great layout, saves us a great deal of time with accounting record keeping and helps with responsibility of users.
Pros: Ramp is very user friendly and does not need a great deal of training before getting up and running.
Cons: The user account details and permissions were the one confusing part we ran into with setup. Mostly no issues to date.
Stacey W. · Accounting Manager · Machinery · October 15, 2025
Overall Ramp has been user- friendly and easy to navigate and transition into. The tracking is simple and the integration with QBO is good so far.
Pros: Ramp was easy to get started with and has already saved us time and money on expense tracking. We use their credit cards for staff so that expenses will be better tracked and categorized.
Cons: Ramp wants all of your business and will do everything that they can to make sure that they get all of it.
Katherine C. · Chief Operations and Finance Officer · Non-Profit Organization Management · October 2, 2025
So far so good. Everything seems to work fine. I like that theres a setting so you basically have to upload a receipt.
Pros: Receipt management and physical card management is very nice to have for employees as well as making virtual cards.
Cons: Theres not a whole lot to not like some of the pre built permissions arent the best or the most accurate for permissions needed.
Hillel G. · Director of Implementation · Hospital & Health Care · August 25, 2025
I love Ramp - wouldn't work our Accounting Team with anything else at this point. Time saving in AP for sure.
Pros: Ramp is a great way to manage all your credit card transaction in one place as well as have Bill Pay to pay all your bills. You can have invoices emailed right into Ramp saving to time not having to enter each bill individually. Easy to learn - they provide training - it's secure with credit card transactions and they help with any issues. If you have QuickBooks the program is Free, so the value is more than perfect! It sync's with QuickBooks so Accounting is super simple, and the number of users for user interface is not charged either as long as you are syncing with QuickBooks. Its features are above and beyond any other program I looked into.
Cons: Sometimes it's hard to get tech support to respond as Quickly as I would like - but I am not super patient person when it comes to issues that do come up, but response time is usually within 24 hours.

Using Ramp has really allowed us to expand who has access to corporate cards and what their use cases and limits are. Previously, we were issuing physical credit cards from our bank, which made it challenging to get those back or enforce approvals on purchases. Ramp has made it really easy for us to customize and streamline credit card access internally.
Pros: The highlight of Ramp is the ability to issue digital credit cards with varying limits, which empowers our fully remote organization and also makes it easy to issue and rescind cards for new hires or departing employees. Additionally, the receipt submission flow makes it easy for purchases to get reviewed and approved as needed.
Cons: Honestly, at this point, there's nothing that I like least about Ramp. Our organization has turned off the Gmail auto scan integration, which adds an extra step for receipt submission, but that's an internal complaint :)

We've been using Ramp for 6 months. Implementation was a breeze. Use is easy and intuitive. The product is regularly upgrading.
Pros: Ease and intuitive design. Each step along the way couldn't be more easy. Seems all our staff has enjoyed using the product.
Cons: I haven't come across something I don't like. From accounting to individual users we have happy staff.
Jo M. · Director for HR · Non-Profit Organization Management · July 1, 2025
We switched from AMEX to RAMP. This has simplified our processes and increased usability for end-users.
Pros: Ramp is super easy to use and very intuitive. The ability to submit expenses via email and SMS has eliminated the need for tracking, keeping and trying to keep track of receipts.
Cons: RAMP is clearly trying to innovate and remain ahead of the curve. The most recent update to the website has overcomplicated the end user experience.

Large companys use this application to help them streamline their business operations. Applications and companies like Ramp help businesses focus on their more important operations.
Pros: Quick delivery of incoming payments and notification is always ahead of schedule. Very interactive employees and that is always appreciated!
Cons: The sales employees can be a little persistent in regards to utilizing more of the application. Just not as interested in using it for more.
Christina C. · Office Manager · Accounting · May 29, 2025
The overall experience has been tremendous. Fantastic customer support, amazing solutions that accelerate accounting processes, providing invaluable insights into our expenses / payables so we can best forecast our expenses and create value in what we actually do.
Pros: The UI is outstanding and has tremendously helped my firm track and analyze our expenses and payables to better forecast and plan budgets. Also, the integrations are fantastic and make reporting and automating the accounting process a seamless experience that has allowed people to free up time and create value elsewhere.
Cons: There are not really any cons to Ramp. It is awesome to see a start-up like Ramp take market share and offer a product that the marketplace needed. There were lots of antiquated offerings, but nothing that met the needs of a 21st Century scaling business.
Harrison C. · CEO · Financial Services · May 25, 2025
Pros: Ease of use, ability to set up multiple cards/spend and track payments and limits on use. Receipt and transaction verification is simple. Reimbursements and expenses are simple. Integrates with slack and can set up text notifications and send receipts through text.
Cons: There is nothing I can think of that I do not like about Ramp.
Alina K. · People and Talent Lead · Information Technology and Services · May 5, 2025
Pros: It's relatively easy to get paid through Ramp and setting up my account was quick
Cons: It seems like it might be expensive if I had to go beyond just receiving payments through it

Overall- it’s been a breeze to track expenses since switching over to Ramp. Employees receive their monthly spending limit and a virtual and physical card. Then they upload receipts into the system as they use it. The card locks after a certain time if receipts aren’t uploaded. Also you can flag spending after a certain amount. All in all a great system to track employee expenses.
Pros: This product make employee expense tracking so easy!
Cons: The set up can be a little tedious but once you are on there it’s very easy to use.
Jeannie V. · Operations Manager · Consumer Goods · April 3, 2025
Ramp has been great for our small business. Our team is geographically dispersed, but Ramp makes it easy to collaborate on bookkeeping, expense reimbursements, and basic expense reporting.
Pros: Ramp is easy to use, it integrates well with our internal workflows, and with external systems.
Cons: I wish the invoice and receipt email capture system worked with more file types.
Erin H. · COO · Medical Devices · March 31, 2025
We're very happy with our decision! The platform is incredibly easy to navigate, runs smoothly, and customer service is always available to assist whenever needed.
Pros: The functionality is incredibly simple and minimizes keystrokes. We're very happy with our decision to make the change!
Cons: As of now, I can't find anything I don't like about Ramp.
Sarah V. · Executive Director · Hospital & Health Care · March 19, 2025
Ramp saved us a lot of time to track credit card receipts.
Pros: Very easy to capture receipts and expenses.
Cons: So far we do not have any complains about Ramp

I used Ramp for the first time on a work trip to NYC. Normally when I travel I have to find a way to keep track of my expenses while busy and on the go. That way when I return I can make sure I have all the information needed to fill out a spreadsheet to return them. With Ramp I did not have to worry about it. It kept the information for me to reference when I returned. It my trip more enjoyable and productive.
Pros: It makes keeping track of company expenses very easy!
Cons: So far so good. I just love that I have all my expenses in one place in stead of having to submit them through a spreadsheet.

We were a small startup that experienced rapid growth but weren't able to change systems quickly enough to keep up. Everyone used their personal card for travel expenses and it was a very cumbersome process to track and reimburse everyone. After some extensive research, we settled on Ramp and were so pleased with the ease of rolling it out to the team. It worked very well for our needs and ended up being such a timesaver.
Pros: Super easy interface for both admins and users. I also loved how we could personalize the company cards, and how quickly and easy to track the cards were sent. When I used Ramp I worked at an entirely remote organization with employees in over 20 states and it made it so easy.
Cons: At the time when we unveiled Ramp (early 2023), we had to put together a lot of documentation for our users, but I'm guessing by now they might have more robust templates to use for this purpose. No major complaints and this one wasn't the end of the world.

Excellent. Easy to use. Quick. Self explanatory. Zero issues
Pros: Very easy to use and submit expenses. Easy to track why expenses were submitted. Easy to upload receipts. Self explanatory.
Cons: Nothing. I love ramp. I have nothing negative to say.
