The application of AssetCloud was like having control over our assets. I was able to assign equipment to an on the fly audit and manage contracts all in one dashboard.
Pros: AssetCloud allowed me to configure scheduled reports that arrived in my inbox at regular intervals so that I could see each day the status and history of assets without having to take any manual action.
Cons: In some instances the mobile scanning through iOS or android system would slow down due to a poor network connection.

Pros: AssetCloud enables me to keep a constant tab of the condition and service schedules of our assets. To get a chance to plan rather than react to a sudden breakdown, it is essential to know when tools are calibrated or should be replaced.
Cons: There are cases where I do not want junior staff to be able to easily change asset information and correctly configuring this is more work.

My overall experience with AssetCloud has been positive. The platform is user-friendly, and its asset tracking capabilities have greatly improved our organization’s efficiency and accuracy. I especially appreciate the customizable features and the ability to generate detailed reports, which help streamline our asset management process. While there was a slight learning curve in the beginning, the support team was responsive and helpful in getting us up to speed.
Pros: One of the things I liked most about AssetCloud was how intuitive and user-friendly the interface is—it made tracking, managing, and auditing assets incredibly efficient and streamlined across multiple locations.f use
Cons: Initial setup, I was brushed off by the sales rep with many excuses as to us meeting of which I had to escalate to the Sales manager who helped me every step of the way.

We like it, it is a little difficult to train new personal who are doing the inventory but once they catch on it’s good.
Pros: I like having organized by category, once we figured out a work around for Location and Site it became a little easier to keep track of where stuff is.
Cons: The Location and Site field, I feel these should be adjusted to be City and Location. Not being able to tailor the fields correctly.

I have been working with Wasp products for the past decade, starting from the on-premises solutions. Transitioning to the cloud has made it incredibly easy to manage and track all our company's IT assets. Our company uses AssetCloud daily, and the improvements made to the platform are impressive. Keep up the excellent work.
Pros: Platform is accessibility on multiple devices. The cloud uses a clean user-friendly dashboard. The developer is constantly updating the platform bringing new feature every time.
Cons: In my opinion, the least favorable aspect of the platform is the process of editing reports to tailor them to our company's needs. Editing a report should be made easier for the end user. I frequently have employees seeking assistance with editing the reports they need, even though the platform offers numerous out-of-the-box reports numerous out of the box reports.

I would totally recommend. Once, I did the training on it, it was easy to use. Need to try and call and get a handle on how to save fields to reports.
Pros: First thing that I like is that it is cloud based. The ability to recalculate the depreciation if needed.
Cons: Since it was a transfer over from an older system, at times I have problems looking up an asset. Names that I search is not always pulling even through it is in part of the naming. Still need to learn how to set my fields for reporting without having to re due it every time.

We converted to AssetCloud from the retired standalone MobileAsset platform. AssetCloud was an easy transition and provides all the resources we need to track our diverse asset pool that resides in multiple locations with a diverse workforce on and off-premise.
Pros: AssetCloud provides our organization with the flexibility to add, audit, and maintain assets in the office or remotely from any internet-connected device.
Cons: Data importing from other applications or documents, such as csv files, could be more robust by allowing data to be imported. If new data is entered for tables such as vendor, it should prompt for additional information to be given, not just error out of the import.
Jason F. · IT Operations Manager · Government Administration · June 17, 2025
Overall, I am thankful that I upgraded to the Cloud version of the software so that multiple members of my team have remote access. It also gives me peace of mind knowing our asset list is protected on the cloud.
Pros: The ability to search keywords and phrases to easily sort through my 25,000+ assets. I typically have to find content for a particular event or individual - and the simplicity of the search feature is huge.
Cons: The inability to 'mass edit' certain asset groups when location, site, etc change. If I move a specific event from one shelf to another - I find it difficult to change data for all of these grouped assets.

We are underutilizing this product and need to dive deeper into the software to enable better use on the user end.
Pros: Being able to access information from anywhere. This helps us while walking around on campus checking on the devices.
Cons: You can not just bulk import our information for devices. As the user, you have to upload multiple files to achieve the results of a bulk upload.
Boyd K. · Purchasing · Education Management · June 17, 2025
AssetCloud has been a huge help with keeping my inventory straight and organized. Without it, we would still be stuck in spreadsheets.
Pros: It's very customizable. You can have unlimited fields to match your needs. The ability to maintain and audit inventory (Multi-quantity assets being the biggest need we had) has been tremendous.
Cons: The search function is limited. There is also no way to make custom fields mandatorily unique. This is something we would have liked to help avoid duplication of inventory.
Trent B. · Director of Client Care · Telecommunications · June 17, 2025
Enjoy the product and I am in an environment that has not had any inventory other than some spreadsheets. I can now check out things to end users and check them in when IT is working on them. I ALWAYS know where an asset is and who has it.
Pros: Easy to use and great support. It is setup in a logical fashion. I particularly like being able to track items when they are being worked on by IT or just in a users possession.
Cons: Nothing so far. The product does what it states it will do and when there is a complex thing to accomplish the support staff is ready and willing to help.
Matt M. · technology director · Education Management · June 17, 2025
Pros: The ability to track and manage assets is essential when there are multiple employees/students. I loved that there is an ability to track calibration dates as well as depreciation! You can get very detailed about where an item is located, down to shelf spot, or desk drawer, etc.
Cons: The worst part of any system like this is that you will have to enter each item individually. It does not magically add your entire inventory!
Jonathon M. · Instructor · Education Management · June 6, 2025
So far it has been very good. We are only about a month into the system. Tech support helped us set things up to make them work for our needs
Pros: It seems very easy to use, tech support has been very good. We are only into the system for a month but I feel it will do what we need it to do easily.
Cons: Mobile hard to use and we got one defective scanner but Wasp was very good about sending it back for replacement.
Kim L. · Owner · Real Estate · June 5, 2025
Very good experience with the software, the hosted version is very reliable and the support team has responded quickly to any questions or concerns.
Pros: The depth of information and the reports available. It's extremely useful to be able to pull up information on each individual departments current inventory. Really helpful for planning.
Cons: Would like to control required fields more. On some of the devices it would be nice for the Admin user to select what is required as it can sometimes be item specific.
Donn C. · IT Operations Director · Non-Profit Organization Management · June 5, 2025
Some support staff good, and some annoying and does not listen to you. The notes in the account are inaccurate or not in the system. You have to explain yourself to each tech. The sales team do not respond in a timely manner and are extremely hard to reach.
Pros: Ability to add custom fields. There is nothing else I like most. There are more cons than pros to this system I am highly disappointed in.
Cons: It does not sort by numerical. This list can go on and on but this is my most least I care for. Having to switch Assets and Serial numbers because of how the system works is the only way it would still benefit me.
John T. · Captain · Government Administration · May 22, 2025
AssetCloud has been wonderful with my asset tracking on all in office and out of office devices especially while having multiple sites.
Pros: The simplicity of adding new assets and being able to track them in real time. Also, the scannable barcodes are a nice benefit as well.
Cons: Set up is a little time consuming but is understandable. Other than that, the process is fairly easy.
Travis V. · IT Technician · Food & Beverages · May 22, 2025
The on prem version of the software we bought 10 years ago was far better. I understand there's an on prem solution now but the price is so astronomical either way that we'll definitely be looking into other solutions. The lack of communication and the slowness of the cloud based interface only cause pain.
Pros: We liked the old on prem version we bought 10 years ago. When we found out there was a cloud based solution we thought we might get more out of it since it is more easily accessible. So far getting to the website is possible from anywhere on our network.
Cons: The cloud based interface is clunky, slow to load, and the fields don't populate quickly at all either. The interface for clearing filters you've already used is a pain. When they recently upgraded the interface it broke our late notifications we had set up to send out to customers.

I've had the pleasure of using Wasp Barcode Technologies for our company's inventory and asset tracking needs, and I must say that their products and services have exceeded all expectations. From the moment we implemented their barcode scanners and inventory management software, we noticed a significant improvement in our operational efficiency. The equipment is robust, user-friendly, and integrates seamlessly with our existing systems. The software is intuitive, making it easy for our team to adapt and start seeing the benefits right away. One of the standout features of Wasp is their commitment to customer service. Whenever we've had questions or needed support, their team has been incredibly responsive and knowledgeable. They go above and beyond to ensure that any issues are resolved quickly, and their technical support team is always available to provide guidance.
Pros: -An easy-to-navigate interface with minimal training is required for new users. -Durable and responsive barcode scanners, printers, and mobile devices. -Responsive, helpful, and knowledgeable support team. -Streamlines inventory and asset tracking, reducing manual errors.
Cons: -Depending on the complexity of your system, setup might require assistance from their support team. -Some packages or equipment may feel pricey for startups or small operations. -Certain users may find the customization options limited without advanced configurations.

My overall experience with AssetCloud has been positive. I came into my position not knowing much about it, but once I received training and saw the bells and whistles, I determined it was a good product to keep using to track our assets.
Pros: Easy to use once you know the ins and outs of the software. Training sessions are super helpful. Having the ability to purchase durable labels is definitely a plus.
Cons: Overall, I do like everything about AssetCloud, but I would like to see an option where I can make a mass change/update on multiple assets instead of one at a time. Also, could there be a way we can input AssetCloud into laptops/tablets/desktops to see live diagnostics, or see who was the last log-in on a laptop to help verify ownership better.
Andres C. · Inventory and Accounting Specialist · Health, Wellness and Fitness · May 22, 2025
Overall - it's great. I really enjoy having it, and i'm looking forward to using it in further detail!
Pros: It has streamlined our ability to manage a variety of assets - not just technology, but hardware, furniture, and more.
Cons: I think the overall experience was good, but maybe a little more updated UI would be great.
Justin W. · Chief Information Officer · Higher Education · April 15, 2025
Very good. It is a good solid software that lives up to the billing. It provides an all-encompassing portal to manage all assets within a business.
Pros: It very user friendly. Easy to understand and utilize. Provides options for all sorts of assets and inventory.
Cons: Sometimes all of the options can be a little overwhelming. So much to choose from can be a hinderance at time.
Sam R. · IT Manager · Warehousing · April 8, 2025
Pros: Once it is setup it is easy and simple to use.
Cons: Takes a bit of work to get it setup in the beginning
Mohamed M. · IT Manager · Law Enforcement · April 8, 2025
Great! Would definitely recommend to others.
Pros: Product is easy to set up and use. Overall cost effective.
Cons: Wish the app was little more user friendly/had more functionality.
Amanda B. · Executive Administrative Assistant · Real Estate · April 3, 2025
Customer service, training, and the program have all been wonderful.
Pros: AssetCloud is very modern look, it was easy to learn how to navigate.
Cons: I have not come across anything that I dislike about AssetCloud, yet.
Keisha C. · Clerk · Government Administration · March 28, 2025
Pros: Easily allows me to track several assets across several agencies allowing me to log maintenance and usage!
Cons: Nothing really- it serves me well and does all I need!
