Procore is a construction management software that helps small construction teams manage multiple projects, documents, and field updates from a centralized platform. It stands out for its mobile access and multi-project handling, though pricing and financial integrations are common drawbacks. Recent additions like Agent Studio and bid leveling reflect a shift toward smarter automation and decision support.

A drastic reduction in communication errors. I save a lot of time by avoiding unnecessary back-and-forth and I ensure that everyone is working on the same versions of the plans.
Pros: In the construction sector, this is a revolution for me. I can consult the latest plans directly on my tablet, annotate anomalies in real-time, and send them to subcontractors. Centralizing documents (RFIs, submittals) prevents expensive misunderstandings. It’s the tool that finally bridges the gap between the office and the field.
Cons: The price is very high, which makes it more suitable for large projects or big companies. I’ve also noticed that the mobile app consumes a lot of battery and data, which is sometimes problematic on isolated job sites.

Overall, using Procore feels like finally getting a handle on the chaos of multi-site Organizational Management. Having a "single source of truth" for all our drawings, RFIs, and daily logs provides a level of clarity that’s hard to beat, especially when coordinating across different branches. While the Features are incredibly deep and provide great Contractor Compliance tracking, the platform can definitely feel "heavy." There’s a steep learning curve that impacts the initial Ease of Use, and you really need to be diligent about training to avoid team frustration. We do run into the occasional Bugs and Issues with mobile syncing or slow browser speeds, but the Customer Support is generally responsive enough to keep things moving. From a Value for Money standpoint, it’s a significant investment, but the unlimited user model makes sense for us as we scale—it’s essentially a high-powered engine that’s built for heavy lifting rather than quick, simple tasks.

Pros: Procore excels at Organizational Management by serving as a "single pane of glass" for all project data. Its robust Features include advanced document management with version control, real-time RFI tracking, and a "ball in court" system that ensures accountability across teams. The platform allows for the seamless management of multiple complex projects from a centralized dashboard, making it an essential tool for scaling operations. While the platform is deep, the Ease of Use is supported by a mobile-first design that allows field crews to upload photos and daily logs effortlessly. To mitigate the learning curve associated with such a powerful tool, Procore provides world-class Customer Support, including a vast knowledge base, Procore Certification courses, and responsive live assistance to help teams get up to speed quickly.
Cons: The most common criticism of Procore is its Value for Money. Because the software is priced based on a firm's total annual construction volume rather than per-user, the cost can be prohibitively high for smaller or mid-sized firms. For companies with lower margins or smaller project scales, the high annual premium may not justify the ROI compared to more affordable alternatives.

10/10 the best construction management software on the market! I love procore and it is truly the best when it comes to whst it is designed for.
Pros: Precore provides everything a construction project could need to suceed! From estimation to project management. On the field work and financial surveillance this program does it all.
Cons: Could use some updates and improvements with AI integration but I know that will come soon! Also better integration with Spectrum would be a plus.
Levi H. · Project Coordinator · Construction · April 1, 2026
Overall a great experience and would recommend Procore to my network. Just need to be aware of the costs.
Pros: The ability to collaborate with the team in real-time. There are constant updates, changes, progress, and tracking for ease of managing multiple projects at the same time.
Cons: As before, way too many unnecessary notifications or sometimes important ones get missed. But the biggest con would be cost to operate the software.
Junaid H. · Project Coordinator · Construction · March 28, 2026
Pros: The back button is the best feature of all! Unlike other plan review software it is easy to navigate between pages and return to a page you just looked at.
Cons: What I like the least - the cost! It can get crazy expensive. There is nothing else that is a con. Just make it cheaper!

I do not subscribe to ProCore so I cannot speak on its value for money. We are a subcontractor that uses it on an invite basis from GCs. We use it for plan viewing, billing and submittals. It is easy see submittals and manage compliance tasks. I have not had much experience with customer support as any issue that I have had has just been a lack of knowledge on the platform rather than an actual issue.
Pros: I like that ProCore can be used by all GC companies and it is easy to navigate between GCs and projects.
Cons: The commitments/billing system is not very detailed. There is not really a good SOV option which makes team collaboration difficult because on person does not know what another person has billed for ect.

Overall, it is a great resource we use in our small painting business every day. If it were not for Procore we would still be doing a lot of things by paper and this app just makes everything run so smooth from the office to the job site.
Pros: The centralized project documentation and the cloud base. I like how easy it is to receive view and sign change orders for projects. The lay out of the app is also very super user friendly. It makes it very easy to communicate to and from the contractor.
Cons: On thing I do not like is the slow load time. The price is a little on the expensive side, but it does greatly help our business to its worth the price for us.

Overall, my experience with Procore has been very positive. It provides a centralized platform for managing project documents, RFIs, submittals, and communication, which helps improve coordination and transparency across the project team.
Pros: Procore makes it easier to manage construction projects by keeping drawings, RFIs, submittals, and communication organized in one place, which improves coordination between contractors, subcontractors, and project managers.
Cons: While Procore is very powerful, the interface can sometimes feel overwhelming, and certain processes could be simplified to improve ease of use.

Procore is very reliable and helps me organize all my projects by GC in one place. It is easy to navigate between variety of projects, and I've rarely had technical issues with the software.
Pros: I like that I can easily navigate between variety of projects. Procore makes it easy to stay compliant with different requirements and contractors.
Cons: It seems like my user experience varies based on the functionality of the GC. I don't like how time consuming preparing a pay application is compared to other software like GCPay and Textura. I have to input the billing, export a PDF, sign it manually, and then reupload the signed pay application and waiverss.

We like procore and like using it with our contractors. It is easy to submit submittals and invoices.
Pros: Procore has good customer support, is easy to use and is a good value for the money. I never experienced any bugs or issues.
Cons: Procore has a lot of features and selection it can be overwhelming at first in terms of how the software is presented.

Great program, truly make life as a PM much easier and organized. Also provides information to the crew and clients.
Pros: This is a high end project management software that is a one stop shop. It can do everything you need it to and more. They also provide training.
Cons: As its such an intricate program, it certainly takes time to learn. They do provide training which is included in the subscription.
Matt G. · Project manager · Construction · March 3, 2026
It helps get a project done. It's as simple as that. If you put the info in the software, everyone has access to it. it eliminates back and forth emails and keeps documents relevant and at the top of the stack.
Pros: I've used this as a GC and as an owner, and it allows for seamless team collaboration for the entire project. It simplifies communication and makes it easy to find what you're looking for. I can see who has the ball in their court and know instantly where issues or potential issues may be hiding which eliminates issues with stubborn subcontractors and makes invoicing an accounts payable/receivable that much easier. There's nothing sitting in Beta mode, they work out issues seemingly before they become issues. Should you run into an issue, they are quick to help and often have a module to learn whatever it is you may be struggling with, making it easy for the young assistant superintendent or the seasoned senior superintendents learn the same systems with ease.
Cons: It's not the most cost effective choice, but it is the most effective choice. There is a cost to be efficient but your money is well spent here.
Austin T. · Project management · Commercial Real Estate · February 27, 2026
Very helpful for keeping projects on schedule, posting project photos, and making sure the project will be completed on time and budget.
Pros: Easy sharing of info on project minutes and testing reports. Is also very helpful for request for proposals.
Cons: Users not aware they need to follow up on shop drawing reviews. New users will need some sort of training but should catch on easily.

I use Procore all day, every day and it is a wonderful construction software. We have been using this software for 8 years now.
Pros: Customer Support is top notch! You can Either go directly to a live chat with a reprehensive or reach out to the support center and they most always answer your question or show you how to accomplish your task.
Cons: That you are unable to "edit" an email. It is inconvenient to have to inactive a user just to change their email address.
Deanne B. · Administrative Assistant Accounting Assistant · Construction · January 27, 2026
Procore is best suited for big General Contractor who has to manage multiple jobs and multiple sub-contractors at the same time. Not useful for small company and beginners.
Pros: Most: Ability to track the construction progress from inception to end. I worked as submittal manager in one of the Company and we used Procore as the main tools. So, it was easy to manage Submittals, RFIs, transmittals, Inspection, Punch list and milestones in Procore.
Cons: Cons: It is not for a small company and a beginner. As a beginner, you get overwhelmed by the multiple features that Procore has. Price is costly for a small company
BISHNU A. · Project Engineer · Construction · January 22, 2026
Pros: Procore is a somewhat easy way to send documents to clients through their portals. Notifications are sent when they have feedback
Cons: Navigating the site is not as easy of a task as others. Sometimes I would receive errors when attempting uploads.
Anonymous User · Project Management · Construction · December 16, 2025
overall its a very useful system to help manage a large project which has lots of different sub contractors and site teams.
Pros: its very good for handling all the information require to oversee and manage a project, we upload a lot of important documents into the system which is then used throughout each project.
Cons: at time the system can be quite slow and hard to navigate, its hard to filter each category and just the general running can be slow.
Anonymous User · Head of procurement · Construction · December 16, 2025
Easy to use, strict document control, accesible audits, seamless workflow between teams. Good experience overall.
Pros: The collaboration features are strong. My team and i used the markup, submittal, approvals and updates quite often.
Cons: I think its very pricy, but a good product. If you have a smaller firm look the other way because its overkill.
abdiel p. · AIT · Architecture & Planning · December 4, 2025
Overall i liked it and i am deciding if its the right option for us, i do believe i may be siging up.
Pros: This sofware is very easy to use and has alot of great features to complete all your construction needs.
Cons: There is not way to access your account unless you pay so once the free trial is over if you dont subscribe you can no loger access it
Melissa L. · ML siding · Construction · October 21, 2025
Pros: Great piece of software that works really work and has some superb features such as a drawing storage tool that keeps all revsions and updates automatically as soon as a new one is uploaded.
Cons: Maybe a bit too good and have too many features for a smaller company like ours - apparently it is also very costly
Daryl B. · Assistant Site Manager · Construction · October 19, 2025
Overall, positive. I have used the platform with multiple different companies and projects. Was successful with each project, and it was easy to set up an account once you get the invite for the project.
Pros: It is easy to use, and the layout of the browser is user friendly. Mobile app is also very helpful when away from the computer for quick access.
Cons: It is a large platform, so there are also many areas you can explore. It mainly depends on the end user uploading the data, as long as it is put in the correct place.
Aaron D. · General Manager · Construction · October 16, 2025
It is nice that you can find everything you need for a specific project all in one app. The owner can also interface with you, which is great for change orders and or product selections.
Pros: I like how you can use the app on your phone when your out on a job site. You can even upload pictures.
Cons: It takes a lots of training to get use to it, espacially if you are using several differents modules.
Karic R. · Project manager · Construction · October 15, 2025
Not bad. Not as good as ACC. Financial management needs to improve. I think the PCO step and Change Event step are redundant and one should be eliminated which would make the system a lot more efficient on user level.
Pros: I like the submittal and RFI features in Procore. It's really easy to sort quickly which is helpful walking on the jobsite.
Cons: Financial management is convoluted and requires too many steps. If a user has to edit an older change order for some reason, all subsequent change order statuses need to be edited which is a big waste of productive time.
Travis J. · Project Manager · Construction · September 2, 2025
Pros: very slick advanced software with loads and features and great tools - drawing storage was incredible with automatic updates of drawing registers/numbers
Cons: sometimes it was a bit complicated for subcontractors to use, and to beenfit from the full functionality, it was essential that the full team used it.
