free up staff and spend more quality time with patients. Get to know alot of the patients better than before.

Cons: N/a nothing everything was enjoyable and i had no issues or complaints about anything dealing with senior living core.

PointClickCare has done a great job creating the Senior Living Core Platform for organizations to use.
Pros: We love that we are able to customize PCC to meet our specific organizational requirements. We have been able to configure security to align with what our end users need to see within the system to complete their duties. The customer support is wonderful, and helps us answer questions we may have.
Cons: There were some modules within Senior Living that our organization does not utilize, but we were unable to disable. However, we were able to remove access to these modules through security.

I really like using this platform. I previously used another platform for one of my other communities and PCC blows it out of the water in every way!
Pros: I really like the user interface! It's easy to use and intuitive. I also really like all of the different ways to get support, including customer support itself, but also all the videos and the guides.
Cons: I don't like that you can't delete items fully. While it is nice to see what was changed, and have the ability to reverse things input incorrectly, I just don't find it as clean

My overall experience with the Senior Living Core Platform has been very positive. It offers a strong, centralized system that helps streamline daily operations, improve communication, and keep key information easily accessible. While there is a bit of a learning curve at first, once you’re familiar with it, the platform becomes an invaluable tool for supporting both residents and staff.
Pros: What I appreciated most is how the platform keeps residents at the center. It streamlines communication and daily workflows so staff can spend less time chasing information and more time supporting residents.
Cons: What I liked least about the Senior Living Core Platform is that some features feel a bit complex at first. There’s a learning curve, especially for team members who aren’t as comfortable with technology, but once you get used to it the workflow becomes much smoother.

I find adding new residents a breeze, I am able to add all of their information quickly. We do not have much use for paper charts these days and it is wonderful being able to upload documentation from the hospitals and Labs. Doctors not on site have access to the Residents charting and information with the remote feature as well.
Pros: The ease of use is fabulous. Having all of the information at hand one click away. I love Document manager, we have paperless PPOs that the doctors can sign remotely. I also upload all of the residents labs and Documentation so that it is available to view. Task manager makes life easier as well. Adding and removing new staff is very straightforward.
Cons: Only the fact that not all facilities use it so it is a learning curve for new staff. It is very easy to navigate though so it doesn't take long to become familiar with the platform.

Overall my experience with the senior living platform has been satisfactory. There are many things that I would like to see changed and updated however I understand why there is so much delay with making these changes.
Pros: The Customer Support (TAM) team and Self Help Guides. I am very much a person that wants the information so I can take care of things myself to meet the expectations of my employer. PCC makes most of this information available to me in the self help but the TAM team is able to provide the rest.
Cons: The disconnect between systems. Example the eMAR portion not communicating with the other tabs within PCC such as Immunizations not being added to the Immunization tab once administered in the eMAR. 2nd example. Medical professionals having to be set up in each facility instead of at the EMC level and then assigned to the facilities they are covering.

It has been excellent, makes my job easier and I appreciate that. The senior Living core platform is the best there is
Pros: Customer support, is great, they are there for you if you have any issues or concerns. The security is top notch I never fear there will be a breach in data.
Cons: I currently do not have any concerns. I have liked everything about the options and support. Do not change a thing it is perfect.

Just starting to use the platform. Getting to know what it is all about. Seems to be helpful in transitioning from paper forms.
Pros: This platform is a wonderful asset for everyone. It can increase staff efficiency, no more paper work. Don't have to worry about security, it is password protected. It is easy to navigate through some health data.
Cons: Not sure at this time, some areas may be difficult to navigate. Will continue to read and learn more about the system.

Overall, bugs and issues are fixed faster than other platforms I have managed. Majority of staff is very helpful and management does make sure that you are heard and appreciated.
Pros: The user interface is easy to navigate. The updates are in real time, so no need to wait until the next day for updates. The customer support portal is very helpful for searching on "how to".
Cons: When submitting a ticket for customer support - it's not consistent with help. There are times you will get a response in a few hours, and sometimes days to a week. Realistically it should be within 48 hours.

Overall, the platform is functional and allows for collaboration across disciplines and teams. easy to find what you need for the most part.
Pros: ease of use, intuitive. data is easily available once entered and there are many reports. EMR is customizable.
Cons: some areas are very clunky (Labs etc) and could do with an overhaul. Charting can be cumbersome and updates are forthcoming but still not perfect. Therapy area could use updates

Pros: The ease of training the product to new users. Since PCC is an industry leader, the software is easy for everyone to adapt to.
Cons: We have a lot of senior living facilities, the cost of the product and additional products make this software hard to advance in our company. Everyone wants to try to use the new feature, but the cost keeps us away most of the time.

My overall experience with the Senior Living Core Platform has been very positive. The platform is intuitive and user-friendly, which makes it easy for staff across departments to adopt and use consistently. I appreciate how it centralizes critical information—supporting clinical, operational, and compliance workflows in real time. It’s helped our team improve communication, streamline documentation, and make data-driven decisions that enhance resident care and operational efficiency. The integration across modules allows for a more holistic approach to managing the resident journey
Pros: The ease of use and how it streamlines access to meaningful data. The platform empowers our team to make timely, informed decisions that directly support better resident outcome and improved quality of care
Cons: The census workflow currently does not support how senior living organizations manage the resident move-in process

I've enjoyed engaging with Point Click Care. I've also enjoyed watching a number of feature requests come to fruition.
Pros: There's always something improving within Point Click Care.
Cons: The UI is a little dated, and some of the options can be inflexible.. however that's also expected in a product with such a broad feature set.
Allen H. · IT Operations · Medical Practice · April 11, 2025
Pros: SO easy to use. You can "Make it your Own"
Cons: sometimes Making it your own can be time consuming.
Tara Z. · HIM · Hospital & Health Care · March 12, 2025
Great for charting categories. Easy order entry and MARS for med pass.
Pros: PCC has everything our community needs to do our meds, documentation and reporting.
Cons: Nothing at this time that I can think of.

Jamie M. · Patient Account Representative · Hospital & Health Care · March 6, 2025
Overall, my experience has been a learning experience, but it's for the better.
Pros: The integration with Single Sign On Identity Providers.
Cons: Not being able to select which users require 2FA with authenticator vs SSO
Jeffrey B. · Junior Systems Administrator · Hospital & Health Care · February 5, 2025
Pros: It's great overall, I don't think I use it for very much vs. how much it can actually do, but it mostly works for what I need it for!
Cons: My complaints are all small things, like wishing that completion dates were listed next to assessments for example (instead of having to go into each one to see what date it was locked). A few usability complaints, I suppose, but nothing major!
Jessica B. · Medical records director · Hospital & Health Care · January 17, 2025
This is a great platform that is future thinking as we are catching up with the rest of the healthcare industry.
Pros: The customer support is out standing. I love the flexibility to configure the system to fit the needs of our organization.
Cons: Sometime there are some functionalities that do not seem to work and that there is missed opportunities for the ability to have health info flow through the different levels of care
Alexandra F. · Health Informatics Manager · Hospital & Health Care · January 7, 2025
was overwhelming to learn at first but once walked through it is pretty simple.
Pros: resident information is easily accessed.
Cons: password is required multiple times when doing a complex order
amanda c. · LPN · Hospital & Health Care · December 17, 2024
Overall, I like the customizability of PCC and it works well in the setting that we have it in.
Pros: I like that all the information is in the same place and that I am able to access PCC from home when need be.
Cons: Some of the features are difficult to navigate. UDAs are hard to create
Kristi N. · MDS Coordinator · Hospital & Health Care · September 23, 2024

Overall, the Senior Living Core Platform is easy to learn, easy to use, and allows external users such as physicians, labs, radiology and even payer clearinghouses to integrate. "One-stop shopping" is always a good thing!
Pros: The ability to manage multiple applications within the one platform. The ability to integrate with external vendors increases productivity.
Cons: No implementation is easy, no matter which application you choose. It takes time to get everything scheduled and sometimes the time is protracted, and more support is needed.
Robyne W. · Sr Systems Specialist · Hospital & Health Care · May 14, 2024
Pros: Ease of use. Easy to find reports, monitor information using the Dashboards. Census is a breeze to process and I like how easy it is to bill!
Cons: At this time there isn't anything I can think of. :)
Kelly M. · Director of Reimbursement · Hospital & Health Care · March 21, 2024
