Pros: It’s a great computer program with excellent customer service and innovations that are frequently incorporated into the programming
Cons: Nothing because everything works really well and the Customer Services excellent even when there is a problem they help you out

Overall, OneSignal has streamlined my communication with my audience significantly, and I've noticed an increase in engagement since I started using it.
Pros: What I really appreciate is the segmentation feature. I can target specific groups, which helps me send relevant messages to the right audience.
Cons: The free version offers a lot, on the downside some more advanced features are locked behind a paywall.

Pros: They have an amazing onboarding and customer support team, which considerably reduces the learning curve. Very easy of use, with amazing features and customization options. I love to have Push notifications, emails and SMS all together.

Cons: If you don´t know how to code, you may rely a lot on the company's IT team or ask a lot of help to One Signal.
Elias S. · Marketing Coordinator · Financial Services · August 21, 2025
Pros: OneSignal makes it easy to reach customers through mobile and web applications that get enhanced via push notifications, live chat, SMS and social media messaging.
Cons: Ever since I implemented OneSignal, I have never failed to accomplish my customer engagement needs.
Joy G. · Owner and Graphic Designer · Design · April 28, 2025
Pros: OneSignal is a reliable customer engagement platform that support in-app messages, push notifications and SMS in one central repository.
Cons: I slightly dislike that OneSignal free tier allocates less advanced customer engagement features compared to paid plans.
Andrew M. · Owner · Design · April 17, 2025
We used OneSignal for push notifications and in-app messaging successfully as a young startup.
Pros: It was an affordable option for our startup in the early days.
Cons: The push notification setup was a little clunky.
Lindsey M. · Director of Marketing Operations · Insurance · April 7, 2025
Pros: I liked OneSignal’s easy-to-use interface and quick setup for push notifications across multiple platforms. Its robust analytics and segmentation features help target the right users effectively.
Cons: I found that OneSignal’s free tier has limited features, which can be restrictive for growing apps. Also, advanced customization sometimes requires additional coding or third-party integrations.
atul m. · senior software engineer · Automotive · April 6, 2025
Pros: Onesignal is simple and easy to use for sending push notifications.
Cons: So far, every looks okay. Thanks so much.
Sylvanus G. · Chairman · Publishing · January 14, 2025
It is an ideal software to use and also with topnotch quality product you can have!
Pros: They offer a FREE access, and prices are very reasonable and affordable for a business!! A must have!
Cons: So far I have nothing to say that I like least about OneSignal.
Jade Anthony R. · Admin Clerk · Building Materials · January 1, 2025
Very good. It is an easy product to implement and does not require much attention, as OneSignal does all of the work in maintaining its functionality.
Pros: I believe the free service is far superior to that which any other peers provide and allows a company to use the product without commitment to paid service and not limited in time, to assess whether the paid service makes commercial sense for the company.
Cons: I have not experienced any issues with the product nor have I heard of any issues from any colleagues.
Constantine H. · Associate · Legal Services · December 26, 2024
I've recently started with this company and setting up an account was easy, self explanation but if I need more info they have a intro section to explain more
Pros: Setting up my account easy! Did I mention free! And easy layout of their site from my cell or laptop
Cons: I'm still rather new so at this time my only issue is the fine print. It's not there and every site has it! What's hidden? So contracts and legalities are my issue? Future issue that is

Davide I. · CEO · Entertainment · October 10, 2024
Best out there when it comes to cross-platform push modifications, simple and clear UI, easy to redeploy using previews templates and has a very insightful instant dashboard with general stats
Pros: Such an easy to setup and deploy platform, very intuitive UI for previews and internal tests across multiple platforms
Cons: User and admin management access and testing permission can be a bit unclear
Anonymous User · DIgital Operations Executive · Marketing and Advertising · July 21, 2024
Pros: It's super easy to use from a copywriter's perspective. You get good and accurate previews of what'll be shown, CTA's work very well too. The setup was easy and customer support has always been fast and helpful.
Cons: Some of the configurations regarding segmentation and subscriber management aren't exactly the best or most detailed. My colleagues from IT also reported quite a few issues with API and setting up the pop-ups for acquiring subscribers to push notifications didn't always work perfectly.
João A. · Copywriter · Gambling & Casinos · July 18, 2024
Pros: I was able to control the Push Notifications for my web and mobile apps with OneSignal. It shows me the realtime updates and help me keeping my customers engaged with target devices. The ease of integration with push notifications is quite easy to implement.
Cons: With onesignal everything is fine for me However, If i want to send push notification to specifics users this is not possible with onesignal also if they could provide support of webhook applications it would be more fun :)

Excellent; I would recommend that any developer considering using and integrating web, mobile, SMS, or email notifications in their projects look at this platform. You would certainly have your preferred environment covered by their SDK, and the flexibility of the pricing makes it a no-brainer.
Pros: I found One Signal to be the best option for getting started with push notifications. They provide an excellent, documented SDK for almost any programming language and platform where your project is running. New features were always in place to provide more functionality, and any adjustments needed during the setup process were both easy and valuable.
Cons: For Latin American markets, using WhatsApp is necessary when communicating with your clients. It is a very competitive channel, and the users are often more oriented to be notified and contacted regarding sales and promotions through this channel. This integration is not easy to use in One Singal, even thought they are working to keep up with the competition.
Tomás P. · Senior Software Developer · Computer Software · June 2, 2024
Pros: Using OneSignal simplify the implementation of push notifications inside a mobile app as you only need to implement one sdk and then use one API to send your push
Cons: The stats are basically useless, you need to track push performance elsewhere
Julien P. · CTO · Hospitality · March 19, 2024
Pros: It's documentation is up to date, customer support is always very attentive and excellent. It's easy to setup for engineering teams, and intuitive to use for marketing teams.
Cons: It's self-service tiers are very limited, and it's very easy to exceed them, event thought they aren't inexpensive.
Moises D. · CTO · Retail · March 19, 2024
Pros: The best thing about OneSignal is their free tier for mobile push notifications which is prertty generous
Cons: pricing for sms/email which a bit pricy compared to other platforms.

OneSignal's standout feature are journeys, which enable users to create highly personalized and automated communication flows. These journeys help optimize every step of our communication funnel by allowing us to target specific segments of our audience with tailored messages at the right time. From onboarding new users to re-engaging dormant ones, OneSignal's journeys empower us to deliver timely and relevant notifications, leading to improved user engagement and conversion rates.
Pros: Ease of implementation and use. Their documentation is robust, well written, and very easy to understand, and on top of that they have video tutorials on YouTube. They also have amazing support! I have only needed help from them once, while trying to use push notifications to update a Live Activity in iOS. I contacted them via their online chat system and got a very quick response. They stayed engaged until I had things working on my end. Brit in particular was super helpful! I can't recommend them strongly enough.
Cons: Absolutly nothing. There is no downside to using this service.

OneSignal helps me track my daily users and growth. It helps to engage more users and they are helping us growing our audience. They provide a very easy way to communicate to our users and provide them updates and up sell products. They help us making revenue by engaging our customers and keep them uptodate with their in app messege and notofocation services.
Pros: the best thing that i love about one signal is their dashboard and tools, They provide flexibility for implementation of apis and reach users while they are navigating into our apps. OneSignal's dashboard help us a lot tto keep our users engaged and send them all the updates about our products. They are getting better and better in Analytics and product insights. Also i really like their customer support than any other platform.
Cons: One thing that annoys me is i would like to have flexibility in their languages, as our platform is multilangual so multi language will be a great thing to use also a more comprehencive API would be quite benificial for us as i may provide greater flexibility.
Shaikh Rayyan A. · Self Employed · Computer Software · January 28, 2024
Perfect! Excellent! I love the resource.
Pros: I love being able to add an image, an explanation/blurb and have a multi lingual message shared with our school community in real time.
Cons: I feel like the topic and sub topic is redundant
Annel L. · Director of Internship Program Parent Coordinator · Education Management · January 23, 2024
Pros: The web interface is really helpful Once you get used to it, you can test your implementation pretty fast. The Android implementation was also straightforward, only needed a few lines of code.
Cons: No way to attach a logger to extract all the info. I had to implement OneSignal in my app and had a problem; but was only reproducible on my client's phone: I had no way to attach a logger and save them, let's say to a file
Alexandru H. · Android Developer · Computer Software · January 23, 2024
Pros: I liked most the fact that the support team is doing a really good job and overall the customer experience and handling is top notch.
Cons: OneSignal offers many solutions. So far i have no complains. :)
Charalabos K. · Full Stack Web Developer · Information Technology and Services · January 18, 2024
They were quick, helpful. Good platform but I didn't know what others were capable of, too. The deployment was reliable to different segments. And the carry-over due to new vendor's back-end was a flop. OneSignal was more stable. But the AI auto-fill, A/N test ease and Web alert CTA "button" are nice. Also I had a real vendor onboarding with new vendor. But that might be on my company, not OS fault, at time of onboarding.
Pros: Ability to send to segments and know it will deploy. Setting / using segments is wonky with new vendor.
Cons: Our new vendor lets you enter the link and it will pull in image address, headline and blurb that you can just tweak. Much faster. Also A/B testing is easier too. Does not need some turn-on from OneSignal. Also, I could never maneuver our audience segments to adjust, combine, audit. Maybe that's across all vendors.
