myUnity® is an EHR purpose-built for the full post-acute care continuum, with one patient record shared across home health, hospice, palliative care, personal care, assisted living, memory care, dementia care, skilled nursing, senior living and more. When a patient or resident transitions between care settings, their care history, demographics, documentation and financial information follow them to support continuity of care. No duplicate entry. No starting over. Built into myUnity, Bells brings AI into existing workflows to support more complete documentation at the point of care, surface patient risk earlier and help leaders make more informed decisions about care prioritization and resource allocation. myUnity is ONC-Certified and CHAP Verified for home health and hospice and has been rated the #1 post-acute EHR by Black Book for 11 consecutive years. No other post-acute EHR covers the full continuum in a single system with AI embedded natively in the end-user’s workflow.

MyUnity is excellent for storing patient files and information. It’s great for keeping their documents up to date and accurate.
Pros: The staff management, billing and scheduling, caregiver management customer support and security is all value for money! Reports always accurate.
Cons: I don’t have any complaints nor do I think there are any cons about myUnity. It’s been a lifesaver for me and my job.

The lack of innovation was concerning. There was a gap between myUnity and the more common ones like PCC and Matrixcare for many years, but it seemed like this system was left behind so much.
Pros: It showed promise at first, but it seems like many other EHRs left it behind. It's strongest point was the ability to customize forms and how immunizations can flow directly from administration to the immunization module.
Cons: The overall user interface was not intuitive, lacked substantial reports and dashboards to benefit leadership. Obtaining medical records for legal requests was a pain as you had to download every attached external document one by one, and the caregiver documentation and immunizations separately

I left a HH agency after the transition, and came back to them a year later. The system and processes have not improved. Will not recommend.
Pros: Nothing, I find no redeeming quality in this system. This is a bottom of the barrel, worst of the worse of all EHR charting systems I've used.
Cons: Can't see the all the patients in one single google map/day. Ghost schedules, visits are assigned by default to evaluating clinicians, falsely inflating your caseload. Why can't they be unassigned after an evaluation?

It’s awful. Wish we could get our old system back. Nothing but issues for my coworkers and I.
Pros: I don’t like anything about this software. In fact most days I want to walk out on my job and throw my computer out the window due to this system causing more work and errors.
Cons: It’s almost like someone who has never worked in the pharmacy or as a nurse created this software. The screen is small and hard to see, nothing is places in an intuitive spot, it takes multiple screens to get data in and out. We had PCC before and it was very user friendly. I consider myself computer savvy and wouldn’t wish this system on my worst enemy.

it runs like a very old busy program. To many clicks
Pros: It served its purposing however is a very busy platform compared to new platforms coming out.
Cons: This system is slow to run and its start up takes 3 minutes or longer to get into

Pros: They have a search bar but it would be more helpful to have videos
Cons: Not intuitive; really difficult to access help on call. Does not expedite daily tasks.
Avrey R. · Nurse · Hospital & Health Care · July 29, 2024
Pros: This is the most cumbersome and aggravating documentation system to use while in the field/at bedside
Cons: This product is so non user friendly to those whom are at the bedside; it’s archaic

I have to work harder using this software.
Pros: Good customer service. Work does get completed but after extra steps. Hard to pull reports.
Cons: not used friendly multiple steps needed to complete a task.

Pros: Thorough- offers a lot of Options and modifications
Cons: Scattered/needs better flow/organization

The overall functionality of the software has improved, but the ease of getting the support you need or fixes has declined. Overall a fairly easy to navigate software and get what you need.
Pros: Easy to select a resident and navigate the chart. Since Netsmart has taken over there has been less downtime and system failures, so overall reliable.
Cons: Setting up users by having to log into another area, the reports are not easy to navigate, support can take a while to get back to and prioritize.

It's been a good one so far.
Pros: It is very easy to use. The fact that I can use it on different devices makes it even better. It also saves my work for me automatically. Online support was prompt and very helpful. My time wasn't wasted. I'm at ease that private information is safe and sound.
Cons: I'd like to be able to write my own goals instead of having to pick from the options.

Netsmart has given us a lot of peace of mind. Their cloud hosting solution is reliable and stable. And they have some DR functionality to allow us to know that even in a major outage, we'll be able to continue on through.
Pros: I love that myUnity can be configured to meet the varied needs to our wide variety of programs. We're able to serve Seniors, Adults with traumatic brain injuries, youth, and more, all using myUnity!
Cons: KPI dashboards need to be included in the base product, and need to include all captured data, including order admins and care plan interventions. The DR tool needs to be updated to include Care Plan interventions and Resident Summary Templates.

Pros: Easy to use, meet the requirements in our skilled nursing facility
Cons: difficult to deal with the consultants sometimes

Overall, myUnity SL is a great product that's easy to learn & use.
Pros: The product is easy to use and configure. The support staff is amazing and they are really there to help you.
Cons: Limited reports. Interface modules are all separate. Waiting for patient/family portal.

Overall experience is mediocre. After acquisition by Netsmart the transition to new management was painful and frustrating; Netsmart lacked the customer facing gravitas of the former company, Improvements made in customer service since then; they seems to have woken up, have restructured multiple times and are making amends. Customer support is responsive, yet so many issues are acknowledged, then the ticket is closed with little follow up. Quality of new releases has improved. Promised functionality with regard to interfaces, HIE and systems integration have been delayed again and again. We signed contracts for interfaces 3 years ago; they have not been delivered yet.
Pros: We are hosted in their PlexusCloud and the "uptime" stats and system reliability are very good. The software is customizable in providing ability to create assessment data entry forms. Browser agnostic web based front end was a long time in development but coming to fruition. Medication and Treatment entry is well developed, looking forward to rollout of new Order Entry module. CNA touchscreens are customizable and collect data with consistency.
Cons: $8a

Pros: The software provides an integrated EHR for Nursing Homes, Assisted Living, Home Health and Hospice services. As an organization that owns and operates all of these services, having a single EHR is of critical importance
Cons: The software needs to be updated to include functionality and ease of use as its competitors that just focus on one type of service (e.g. Nursing Homes, Home Health)

Tech support could be better. and please change the name. 4 syllables for a name is too long. everyone still calls it vision
Pros: A lot more updates than it did years ago - constantly coming out with new functionality
Cons: Too much cost associated for every little add on
Ryan D. · Finance Manager · Hospital & Health Care · October 13, 2020
I like that this software mergers with other and makes it easier to transport client info into an organized platform.
Pros: This software was pretty cool to use. I get some patients from the hospital i work at and integrating them into this program for my moms homehealth business, and it is not difficult.
Cons: pricey for a small business in the long run , i guess because they are meant for bigger businesses.
michelle o. · pca · Hospital & Health Care · October 6, 2020
We use this across the continuum of care at our corporation which works well for continuation of care.
Pros: Love the ability to customize forms. Med Pass is clear and concise. Netsmart is responsive to end user suggestions.
Cons: Reports, inability to pull the information you want from the record.
Peggy B. · EMR Liaison · Hospital & Health Care · September 29, 2020
Pros: I found it easy to use and to find information.
Cons: This software freezes a lot! Also for Interoffice Communication notes, I feel like it should be designed to only be able to open 1 note per chart. There was an option to open multiple notes, which made it difficult to be able to see EVERYTHING in the chart, you would have to open each note up individually. There also seemed to be a lot of glitches (not showing every chart made, etc)
Anonymous User · Staffing Coordinator · Hospital & Health Care · January 15, 2020
Able to get our claims filed and paid.
Pros: Support is quick to respond when I have a problem.
Cons: Not always easy to understand how to find the reports.
Donna R. · Billing Sprecialist · Hospital & Health Care · January 15, 2020
It's been great other then it taking longer to review notes. Was also were going to see by any chance when a patient is DC'd on the patient chart if there can be something stating the pt is DC'd on the chart, for example like you do with a user that is inactivated you put an (I) next to their name. Can you guys do that with a (D) next to the DC'd patient so in the view online activity list we can see if the patient was DC'd so we can focus on those notes first. That would be great.
Pros: The easy access to the whole chart and able to bring up all the notes in the view online activity tab.
Cons: How detailed and so much info to fill in for the clinicians. I worked with quite a bit of other softwares and yours takes the cake in time. If the notes were more streamlined but still are able to gather all the info would be great.
Gabriel G. · Certified Home Health Coder · Health, Wellness and Fitness · January 14, 2020
Pros: I like the ease of use and very little training time our nurses need to start using it. If you can use Google, you will be able to use this software in about 20-30 min.
Cons: The reports that the system provides are not always accurate. If you run the same report twice you might get different data.
Vitolia L. · supervisor of clinical services · Hospital & Health Care · January 13, 2020
I have had nothing but positive experiences with myUnity/Devero software. I am familiar with the software as I have used it before with another company, which is why I selected it for my hospice business.
Pros: The best thing about this software is the ease of use , the available features and the product support team. Whenever I have an issue, the product support team has been sure to contact me in a timely manner to resolve the said issue.
Cons: I do not have any least favorites about this software at this time.
Melissa T. · owner · Medical Practice · January 12, 2020
TECHNICAL SUPPORT IS VERY GOOD, VERY SUPPORTIVE AND PROVIDES SOLUTIONS WITHIN A VERY REASONABLE TIME.
Pros: EASE OF USE, TECHNICAL SUPPORT IS GREAT.
Cons: EPISODE DATES ARE NOT ON ALL FORMS, I THINK IT WOULD REALLY HELP IF THEY ARE
