Extremely poor. Loxo acts as a 'spam engine' for the recruitment industry. Their outreach automation allows recruiters to bypass standard professional boundaries, resulting in constant, unsolicited pestering on personal phone numbers and emails. It is a privacy-invasive platform that prioritizes 'reach' over professional ethics and data consent.
Pros: The user interface for the platform seems modern, but that is irrelevant when the core function of the tool is used to facilitate intrusive and unsolicited outreach.
Cons: The platform’s 'Loxo Source' feature seems to scrape personal contact information without consent. As a recipient, I have been bombarded with automated SMS and email sequences that feel like high-volume spam. There is clearly a lack of 'opt-out' synchronization, and the tool encourages recruiters to prioritize quantity over quality, leading to a terrible experience for anyone whose data is in their system.

Loxo has completely transformed the way our team manages the recruiting process, and I can’t imagine going back to juggling multiple platforms. What stands out most is how intuitive the platform is! The learning curve is minimal, and everything just makes sense. Whether you’re a seasoned recruiter or new to the team, you can hit the ground running without a steep onboarding process.
Pros: One of my favorite features is the way Loxo consolidates all communication in one place. Texts, emails, and call recordings are all tracked within the platform, which makes it incredibly easy to stay on top of outreach and pick up right where a colleague left off.

Cons: If the candidate does not have contact info, the platforms AI will try to scrape for it and it’s usually incorrect or outdated.

Excellent experience and customer support. Loxo saves me time and budget by eliminating the need for expensive job boards or sourcing tools. It integrates everything into their user-friendly platform, making recruiting fast and easy, even across time zones. It's a great investment, saving money, time and effort with effective integrations and AI support.
Pros: $8e
Cons: No dislikes so far.

It started off great. Great sales person. Great onboarding person. But as we began to try to REALLY get into the software, we needed tech support that was just too slow to respond. We also realized that the helpful features that we were excited about were not flexible enough to meet our basic needs. Reporting, sales tracking, etc. just sub-par.
Pros: Using Loxo was an improvement over the antiquated ATS that we were using before. The modern look and promised features easily lured us away from PCR!
Cons: We started noticing that all the features that initially intrigued us were not actually built into the app itself. Calls and texts required third party integrations for example. Loxo Source sounded great but seems lacking. The tech support continues to decline and disappoint. We've started our 2nd year with Loxo but I'm already looking for an alternative.

I love loxo and could not imagine recruiting without it. Recruiting is a grind, and they do a great job at making it as simple as possible. Whether it's the layout and applicant tracking features, or the lists that shave off days to fill when working on a new req. Very happy with loxo and will continue recommending it to fellow recruiters.
Pros: My favorite thing about loxo is how user friendly it is. I am not a super btech-savy person, and loxo just makes sense. If for whatever reason there is something you can't figure out, there are countless training videos and their AI customer service bot is actually very helpful. I love how responsive the team is. If I am experiencing or have a potential idea for improvement, I can reach out to someone on linkedin and it is actually heard.
Cons: On occasion, some of the profiles don't update and have out of date information. I expressed this a few times with the team and they actually rolled out a feature where you are able to update a profile if you notice some of the information is missing. So great!

Solid C+. Customer service is mainly AI driven, but figured out the work around, my customer service requests will go to a human if I add a screen shot, and state that in subject. Price increases and under delivers in CRM function and formatting resumes. Not worth the coin
Pros: The connection and searchability it has with Linkedin. ATS portion of LOXO is strong. Web site connection was convenient
Cons: $8f

I've been using Loxo for a year now, and it's the best recruitment software I've ever used. The UI is great, they're constantly developing new features, support team is excellent, and they're really focused on continuously evolving and improving the platform. Highly recommend
Pros: Constant innovation and adding incredible new features at a regular basis. The focus on AI is a real plus for our business going forward.
Cons: Nothing really so far, very impressed. One possible note is some of the data in Loxo Source can be outdated, but it's few and far between

As easy as it was to learn on my own in the tutorials, onboarding has been a stellar experience. [sensitive content hidden] has been incredibly helpful and has some stellar tips and tricks in her back pocket for custom set-ups.
Pros: Customization with the all-in-one platform has been awesome! Being able to use the same platform across multiple industries has been great.
Cons: Would like to link HQ & Subsidiary companies in a section much like deals & attachments or forms. Would love to have placements be its own page on the menu too.

Overall, Loxo is user friendly and allows you to keep up with candidates in a important way.
Pros: Loxo uses AI which is user friendly. It is super easy to tag candidates you are looking to hire and then search hiring groups by tag, which is unique to the software.
Cons: Loxo creates multiple profiles for the same person if they are candidates for multiple jobs. This gets messy and confusing. A few times, emails and text will not sync in real time.
Chris D. · Owner · Alternative Medicine · January 17, 2025
Started off great, but deteriorated. A company focused on growth, not retention. Better than some other tools I've seen.
Pros: It was great that everything came in one package when I was starting out. This made things easy. As I used the product the best feature was the Outreach tool. The onboarding videos were very good.
Cons: The support was poor and it would take ages for them to respond. While the LinkedIn parsing was good, it was slow compared to other similar tools. I felt they spent a lot of time creating features that were not of a high enough quality to add value, but there to attract more clients. The AI was not very good, Loxo source was often outdated and didn't replace LinkedIn recruiter, and the deal board setup made it hard to effectively manage your BD pipeline. Email management between personal and company emails for contacts was also an ongoing challenge when using Loxo Connect. This made me live in fear of emailing candidate email to a work address. Latterly, the price was no longer competitive. Lack of integration with Zapier was a deal breaker for me at renewal alongside the poor search functionality. Ultimately this was costing money.

Overall a good experience for our recruitment process. The support team is based in the US, so those in Europe get a delayed answer which sometimes can cause delays in the work.
Pros: Loxo Source is great tool to easily find candidates. The Loxo extension as well works perfectly and fairly fast. We moved to Loxo from a custom ATS which meant a very complex and tedious migration, however, even though it took longer then anticipated, the Loxo engineering team made it happen.
Cons: One thing that could be done better is the alignment between the sales and the support team. I think the sales team oversell the tool as all-powerful and all-potent, but then after the purchase we say that that is not the case. We were expecting reports to be able to do calculations, but later found out that they are based on logic. Now we need to redo most reports and then do the calculations elsewhere.

funneled my dismay and issues up SEVERAL times, get teh same pat on teh head that we will work with you to "fix" these issues. All the "fixes" are yet another "work-around" which makes more work for me. As I said, sold an end to end recruitment tool and got a dogs-breakfast from a company that will keep a dissatisfied customer for the money as my money is obviously way more important than my customer satisfaction. Maybe in 5 years this will work, but for now it is charging a LOT of money for an ugly to work with product. Excel spreadsheets would work better.
Pros: What i was sold and what is are two vastly different things. I was sold and end to end recruitment tool that would most importantly save me time. It does not. It costs me time. At best Loxo is a sourcing tool, that has yet to net a single candidate for my vertical.
Cons: It is NOT an end to end recruitment service - you can send resumes to your clients if you want them to look like a dogs breakfast. Everything is "clunky" for lack of a better term and because you have to constantly go out of the program to actually work, there is no continuity. I am bitterly disappointed and they are forcing me to stay through the contract so I will be developing my company on another ATS while I wait out my term.

I’m blown away by how easy it is to track notes and activity, to move people through the process and automate outreach
Pros: Ease of use Aesthetics Support Chrome extension Connects everything through the process
Cons: Email could have a feature for newsletter style to make it prettier
Chelsea L. · Recruiter · Consumer Goods · October 17, 2024
Really good in the main. Some of the communication back in the initial set up was a little slow and we had to chase which was a bit frustrating but it did improve dramatically when [sensitive content hidden] did our training, she was brilliant, can praise her enough.
Pros: Easily functionality, navigation and good UI and very recruiter process friendly
Cons: Its a bit candidate heavy but we know this is being addressed
Tony M. · Co-Founder · Computer Software · September 20, 2024
Incredible. The CEO sold me the product, the COO helped with tech challenges and our onboarding specialist genuinely cared about getting the platform working. The communication was amazing the entire way through the process. An investment i wish I made when I launched the company!
Pros: Progressive, all in one platform, combining ATS, CRM and AI tools to bring technology into the recruitment sphere. The tech actually works, unlike so many of it's competitors that have integrations that are unfunctional.
Cons: What's not to like!? It takes some getting used to not having contacts and candidate separate but that's a familiarity thing.
Thomas W. · Managing Partner · Construction · September 12, 2024
Great so far. [sensitive content hidden] has been very supportive and the tech support team tackles issues efficiently.
Pros: User friendly and easy to set up and start working
Cons: Invoice template can be improved by allowing an insertion of my company logo and allow business address modification. Also, for consultants on billing the hour tracking is terrible. It would be nice to see a more robust portal for consultants to enter their weekly hours worked.
Andrey R. · Founder, Talent Manager · Accounting · September 9, 2024
Loxo has been a great partner in my recruiting business since the beginning. I've had good support from customer service and the product has continued to be refined with additional features and improvements on existing features. I'm comfortable recommending Loxo as a tool for agency recruiters based on my experience with Loxo for more than 5 years.
Pros: User interface is a standout feature as is the number of useful features from CRM to contact info to sales engagement. The bundling with phone and text features for Outreach really streamlines our tech stack enabling us to have a simpler setup for new users.
Cons: Pricing is always a challenge when you're working with a good product. We don't utilize all of the features or some features are more useful in certain contexts than others. Because of that, I consider value to be a key metric for how you're using the product and value will vary by use case.
Ryan T. · Founder · Staffing and Recruiting · August 14, 2024
Pros: We felt like our former CRM/ATS provider was getting left behind due to a lack of innovation, resulting in our database becoming a dormant place to store information, only activated when one of our consultants approached a particular candidate or client. Loxo makes it easy to eliminate this and proactively stay in contact with every person on in your database. The Loxo Source feature gets better every day with more and more contact information being added for people, all within the platform, reducing our need to spend on LinkedIn Recruiter or contact information providers. If you are blessed enough to work with [sensitive content hidden] you will be in very good hands, I cannot recommend her highly enough. She made the migration as comfortable as possible and has been impeccable since we went live with Loxo too.
Cons: There are some features missing that we have had to request to be added, but when we do so they are quickly acted upon. We expected this as we made a conscious choice to partner with a hungry, growing provider and we are already seeing how quickly they adapt and innovate.

I recommend this software to all my friends and colleagues.
Pros: $90
Cons: The software has some bugs, but it is continuously improving. I am glad that the team is receptive to my suggestions for features and bug reports. The software is a behemoth of features, so of course it is complex. It took me 1-2 weeks to go through setup and training before I became familiar with the software and its quirks enough to recruit for a position. They strongly encourage annual contracts, but small business customers and startups definitely prefer month to month flexibility. I was able to negotiate month to month at a higher price.

Pros: I’ve been using the Loxo platform for some time now and I must say, it’s been an absolute game-changer. The platform is incredibly user-friendly and accurate, making it a breeze to navigate through various features and functionalities. It’s clear that a lot of thought has been put into its design to ensure a seamless user experience. What sets Loxo apart, however, is their exceptional customer service. The team is always ready to assist with any queries or issues, ensuring a smooth and efficient resolution every time. Their dedication to customer satisfaction is truly commendable. I acknowledge [sensitive content hidden] who jumped on a call with me to speed up my new email setup. The combination of a fantastic platform and stellar customer service makes Loxo a standout in the field. I would highly recommend Loxo to anyone looking for a reliable and efficient platform for their needs. It’s not just a platform, it’s a partner that you can trust.
Cons: N/A - Everything is really nice and neat.
Meri L. · Recruiter · Staffing and Recruiting · July 30, 2024
The customer service is not good, they do not help when it comes to wanting to cancel the subscription. I am still waiting for a response after 10 follow ups I'm tired of waiting and taking other courses of action. Understand the product before your sign up to a service because you may run into a company that doesn't allow you to unsubscribe
Pros: Nothing at all, I still haven’t been able to cancel
Cons: Everything especially customer service and under average solutions.
Martin A. · Recruiting manager · Staffing and Recruiting · April 11, 2024
Really good. Transparent from the off. UK sales person was great with a non pushy approach. Onboard has been simple, quick and effective.
Pros: Simple and easy to use with a modern workflow. Excellent Chrome Extension that works well with LinkedIn. AI tools to help source contact info is a game changer. Great email marketing outreach solution built in that allows you to build campaigns as opposed to just sent email marketing.
Cons: Some of the AI features shown at demo were only available in the more expensive subscriptions
Ben B. · Director · Staffing and Recruiting · March 25, 2024
Great during the sales process but as soon as you join and get passed on to somebody else it just went downhill.
Pros: The look of it was nice and fresh. Sourcing promised a lot also as a feature.
Cons: Inability to format CV's within the system before sending to clients. Customer support - My customer success manager ignores most messages or issues. I've been trying to cancel and it's just on deaf ears.
Daniel D. · Director · Food Production · January 31, 2024
Very upsetting. We asked for training multiple times...we left a software company that provided stellar customer service and 1:1 devoted training only because Loxo promised we would be able to source candidates and save money but not having to have any other paid recruitment platforms. That is a LIE. Then when we asked for our date, ALL THE SUDDEN the Customer Service Manager, [sensitive content hidden], who is the worst, decides now she has the time to reach out to us. Instead of listening to our concerns that we had and trying to save us, she repeated herself and not hearing ANYTHING THAT WE SAID! Or the facts that we have when we were promised one thing and met with the opposite. Not to mention the amount of times we asked for help and were not provided any.
Pros: We do not like anything about LOXO and it is simply due to the lack of customer service and the amount of times we asked for help and did not get the guidance needed.
Cons: There is no 1:1 training, they put you in a class with a guy that talks super fast and you do not get to stop and ask questions until the end of the hour which by then, you are beyond confused. When we asked for more training, they put us back in the same class, with the same gentleman and never listed to what we actually needed. UNTIL WE WANTED TO CANCEL!

overall it was good cant really complain the onboarding was good as well
