QuickBooks Time

Pros: Submitting my time sheets through QuickBooks is such an easy-going experience. It is also very useful having all of my digital paystubs in one place. The layout and design are simple and easy to learn, even as someone who isn't super tech savvy. If I only have a few minutes to submit my time for the week, it's no problem, because it really is that quick!

Cons: Since my company upgraded to using QuickBooks a few months ago, I have yet to find any flaws. My only complaint is sometimes there will be a slight glitch or delay, but nothing major.

Pros: We really like how easy it is to integrate QB Time with QB Desktop. It is easy to to sync and transfer time clock data over to QB for payroll

Cons: There is no way to personalize PTO accruals. (ex, employees get 3 more days when they have worked 6 months, an extra 2 days at 12 months, etc... but everything resets at beginining of the year) so this has to be done manually

Pros: Quickbooks time is very easy to use. Simplistic time tracking tool for multiple customers and projects. Employees and clock into a project or a specific customer.

Cons: It can change without notice and sometimes the changes are not for the better. We recently experienced what seemed to be a user interface change, but we had issues with employees being unassigned projects or not be able to clock into specific jobs.

Pros: One of the things that I like the most about QuickBooks Time is the fact that it is easy to clock-in via desktop whether it is an actual desk computer or via the web browser on the phone.

Cons: What I like the least about QuickBooks Time is the fact that some struggle to clock-in via the mobile app, while others can do it with ease.

Pros: What I liked most about QuickBooks Time was how easy it made tracking time and managing schedules. The integration with QuickBooks payroll and invoicing was especially helpful and saved time.

Cons: What I liked least was that certain functions weren’t as flexible as expected, particularly around reporting and approvals. It worked well for basic needs but could be restrictive for more complex tracking.

Pros: QuickBooks Time has been easy to use overall and makes tracking employee hours straightforward and organized. I like how simple it is to edit, review, and manage time entries without things feeling cluttered. The system is customizable, which helps fit different workflows within a property management environment. It also keeps everything centralized so it is easy to stay on top of scheduling and time tracking in one place. The mobile app functionality is helpful for teams in the field, and GPS tracking and time stamping add an extra layer of accuracy and accountability. Integration with QuickBooks products is also a major advantage for payroll and accounting workflows.

Cons: At times, the system can feel a bit complex when setting up more advanced features or managing permissions across multiple users. The cost can also be higher compared to simpler time tracking tools, especially for smaller teams. Occasionally, syncing delays or minor glitches can occur, particularly with mobile updates or integrations.

Pros: customer support is fantastic with answering all your question, the app is very easy to use. We are able to have 2 or more users with access.

Cons: Communication through chats are not a favorite of mine. it is easier for me to resolve problem speaking to someone direct. Pricing is quite high

Pros: QuickBooks Time was easy to use and helped simplify employee time tracking. I liked that it made it simple to clock in and out, and it automatically tracked hours accurately without needing much manual input. The mobile app was convenient, especially for people working in different locations, and it made it easy to monitor schedules and time entries in real time. Overall, it helped reduce errors and saved time on payroll and tracking tasks.

Cons: Occasionally, the app can be slow or glitchy when syncing time entries, which can be frustrating if you’re trying to update things quickly. Overall, it works well, but the learning curve and occasional technical issues were the main downsides.

Pros: QBT is user friendly. I like to pull reports from the hours worked by customer feature. This is helpful in creating other valuable reports. There are not many frills in this department. You get the basics.

Cons: Errors are difficult to fix. Duplicate accounts that are created from a change in QB. Even the slightest alteration of an account on QB will create a duplicate in QBT. This can often lead to hours being reported in 2 customers, creating a need to fix manually.

Pros: The user friendly time keeping and how it linked to the payroll info. I feel that anyone who uses Quickbooks could use this tool.

Cons: The timer application look could have been different. I have seen other time keeping applications that were docked to the bar, that would have been easier to use as an employee.

Pros: The only thing about QB Time that was good was it was integrated with invoicing. This integration made it easy to pull hours directly to sales invoicing.

Cons: The interface was often confusing and not very intuitive. There were times when my employees could not access their timesheets, and they were lost and confused very often.

Pros: QuickBooks Time excels at payroll integration, GPS tracking, mobile clock-in, drag-and-drop scheduling, and automated timesheet reporting for field teams.

Cons: The app can have crashes, poor customer support, high per-user pricing, limited customization, and single-level timesheet approvals.

Pros: The software is very robust, and there are a lot of different features that can be utilized to invoice people, track your finances, and be able to get an inside look at your business and your own personal finances. I love that they have multiple ways to pay, reporting, for example, like your cash flow. There are also a lot of ways to report taxes, and their application on iOS is pretty cool and great to look at but can be challenging to navigate at times too.

Cons: The learning curve was very steep in order to be able to utilize the software properly, and additionally, they didn't provide many classes or learning materials that I could see. It just cost me to feel like I needed to go out of my way to learn it, and by the time I was learning, I was getting frustrated because the information I was absorbing was fragmented.

Pros: QuickBooks Time has been incredibly helpful in streamlining our payroll and taxes process. It helps keep all our information in one system.

Cons: We have had some issues inputing new employees into our payroll system with QuickBooks Time. While it is convenient, it is also costly.

Pros: It makes it way easier to track your time, which allows you to make sure that everything is correct.

Cons: Therea nothing really to dislike. Sometimes it glitches and that is the only bad thing in my opinion.

Pros: Very straightforward software, makes it easy to track time and edit with supervisior permission. It is also nice that I am able to put in notes when I forget to clock back in after lunch...

Cons: I wish that it would allow for my account to stay logged in online because sometimes it takes a few minutes to get logged in and that causes a few minutes to be deducted from my hours.

Pros: It is quick, easy and comprehensive. I like that it’s more intuitive and easy to navigate. It has a drag and drop calendar that for me is very helpful.

Cons: Nothing I can think of for now. Although sometimes we encounter issues like lagging but they’re not as bad.

Pros: The very easy integration with QuickBooks accounting software, the user-friendly app for not only tracking time but also the tracking the location of employees and the project they are currently working at.

Cons: The cost is a little high and continually rising. The representatives for customer support can be hard to understand at times.

Pros: QuickBooks was easy to access and works well with other apps as well. For all that it offers, it is really value for money. It helps companies to track down time and save on payroll. It tracks accurate timesheets, hence a more accurate payroll, and invoices for accountants.

Cons: There is no bad side that I encountered while using QuickBooks. It helps with team management, has great customer support, and quick availability of customer support. For small businesses that do not take full use of all the functionality of QuickBooks Time, they might need to negotiate the price so it is not too much.

Pros: What I liked most about QuickBooks Time was how easy it made time tracking for the whole team. The interface is intuitive, simple to navigate, and takes very little training to get people up and running. It made clocking in and out, tracking hours, and reviewing timesheets feel seamless instead of tedious. I also really appreciated how well it helped with accountability and visibility across projects, which made payroll and scheduling much more efficient. Overall, it saved time, reduced errors, and made day-to-day operations feel much more organized.

Cons: One small downside is that some features can take a little time to fully learn, especially when setting up more detailed tracking or admin settings. It is very capable, but that also means there can be a slight learning curve at first. Once everything is configured, though, it works smoothly and provides a lot of value.

Pros: The platform makes it so easy to manage employee timesheets and allows all employees mobile access via the mobile app.

Cons: No cons so far! Our team has fully adopted the platform and is using it currently with ease! Our accountant can easily track multiple timesheets with ease!

Pros: Great program that allows PM's to know realtime which staff are on site, which hours they work, and helps with employee accountability

Cons: There are some restrictions to the time app however its a straightforward program that you can certainly make work for any company.

Pros: Time has made tracking employee hours simple and accurate especially with it's mobile app and GPS tracking features.

Cons: The cost can be higher compared to other time-tracking solutions, particularly for small teams as i have been apart of in the past. Currently of no issue.
