It's a work in progress but the more I use it, the more I enjoy the overall product. This product is on the same level as the other adobe family of products .
Pros: The options to edit video, creating music video/highlight reels. The versatility in creating projects for school and other ventures. The value for the money is remarkable.
Cons: The editing options seem to not do what it supposed to do but it could also be user error as I am a newbie with this application.

Adobe has been an amazing app that has helped me in smooth, result-oriented production for my projects.
Pros: It is fast and easy to use, even for a new user who can easily use it and edit either video or audio.
Cons: It takes time to load videos, making it hard to use in a fast-paced environment where a lot of production is done.

We use this software to make promo video's. Before I went into the nonprofit sector I used premiere to make commercials and videos for businesses. It worked great because I could quickly make videos to promote products and services.

Pros: the ease of layering video clips and splicing them together. Being able to import multiple file formats and creating one seamless video that can by played on multiple platforms and devices. I love how detailed you can get with transitions and cutting clips to get the perfect shot.
Cons: the cost of the software is insane especially for nonprofits. We have small micor budgets and forcing us to have a subscription is a challenge when we do not always have consistent income. We should be able to just pay a 1 time fee forever.

This is a game changer for me. I am able to take PDF only versions of documents and edit them. This could be a simple as updating outdated forms or completely altering them. On the photo and image editing inside, it’s a very simple and easy program to use, offering all of the features that I need to get the job done.
Pros: This is an incredible program that very much suits my needs. I handle a lot of PDF documents, and this program allows me to edit them in an easy and professional manner. I can also use the software to edit photos and pictures, which works very well for creating an updating graphics.
Cons: I would say the only thing that I dislike is the cost of the software on an individual license basis.

Pros: Adobe Premiere Pro is great for editing long form and short form videos. I like the desktop setup more than other editing platforms that are geared to being mobile friendly. There are so many features to explore which makes it great for all uses.
Cons: The updates the Adobe makes to the program are great but hard to keep up with. It's confusing when their systems/processes change with basic updates and you have to relearn the program.

Overall my experience is good. I've tried several programs to try and accomplish what I set out to do and I succeeded easier with better results with Adobe than any other program. Their customer service is numerous times better than free programs too. I tried CapCut for example and their customer service was terrible.
Pros: I like the versatility and general ease of use for an intermediate user. I was able to edit my own YouTube video with lots of effects!
Cons: I think the price of it is a little steep. There are more and more free or lower cost options utilizing AI more that may make them compete harder.

Pros: I recently started using the phone application, and so far I'm loving it, although the desktop version has more options, I'm pretty pleased with the product.
Cons: What I like the least is that I need a high amount of RAM to run it on my computer, and the annoyance of having to switch from Premiere to After Effects when creating a more complex video, when it should be all integrated by now.

It has been great! I have been able to create high quality videos with advanced animations that really bring my designs to life.
Pros: I love the versatility and control the program affords me. With all of my videos I have total control over every detail.
Cons: I wish I could slip from keyframe to keyframe by the push of a button when animating. But other than that it is great.

Pros: Very usefull for video editing, User Interface is very user friendly and is easy to use without much previous knowledge
Cons: Sometimes, and always depending on your computer configuration it requires a lot of memory for certain tasks

With very little design background, I was able to self-teach/inform myself on the ins and outs of Premiere Pro, with some external direction. :)
Pros: I feel like with each new update, I'm always able to adapt to the changes and find resources to help me advance in my video editing craft along the way.
Cons: To be quite honest, there isn't really anything major I'm miffed about. I guess, perhaps, if there were a better way of captioning clips, that would be helpful.

Terrible customer support. Extremely slow compared to Resolve. There isn't a single thing Premiere attempts to do that Resolve can't do cheaper and faster and more intuitively.
Pros: Literally the worst editing application I've ever used. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME LEARNING THIS SOFTWARE. Literally invest your time in ANY OTHER EDITING APPLICATION.
Cons: Fails on basic functionality like basic exports. There is no good resource for finding solutions to the se basic problems. The color grading interface is a joke.

I have been using it for about 15 years, previously at the college on their computers when I didn't have a laptop powerful enough to run it. But now computers are a lot cheaper and I can do a student subscription and work at home all hours into the night. At least at the college, the computer lab closed and I'd have to quit. HA! Easy to spend 8 straight hours having video editing fun at home.
Pros: I have the student subscription so it isn't expensive. I have created a lot of videos with it and it's easy to use once you get the hang of it. I haven't needed to contact support because it works well. It's fast and works well. The projects use it for are to create music videos for YouTube of my original songs.
Cons: If you have to pay full price, it can get expensive. Sometimes it glitches and doesn't render, so you have to trick it and render a small section at a time instead of the whole thing. Also, sometimes the color gets a bit off if you export and then import it back in, you'll see a colors shift. Maybe it's some setting I'm not aware of.

Overall Premiere is great. I use it daily for my job as a video editor. It's lacking in a new places like graphics, but it works with Adobe After Effects so that's fine.
Pros: Adobe Premiere Pro has been a great video editing tool. It's easier than Avid and has more options than Capcut or Imovie.
Cons: When new updates are rolled out sometimes the software is glitchy and the software will crash. It usually takes a few months for it to fix itself with updates.

Overall our experience with Premiere, like many others in the industry, is mostly positive. The UI is probably the best among all tools, however, there are many areas where Premiere is lacking, especially with bugs and stability issues that are slow to be resolved.
Pros: The UI is solid, packed full of features, integrates so nicely with other adobe software like photoshop and after effects.
Cons: There are numerous bugs that have existed for years and still haven't been resolved. Its more laggy and not as stable as alternatives such as Resolve.

Pros: Adobe Premiere is an editing software a bit expensive but it really worth it. It’s full complete and gives you lot of precision with a big choice of plug-ins, options and assets.
Cons: It's good but not all perfect, sometime it got too much things everywhere and the interface looks overloaded, wich make it less efficient at the end..

I use Adobe Premiere Pro to create all of my company's product demo videos that are shared on the website and in promotional/sales materials. It's an essential program in my marketing toolbox, and I'd feel far less confident without it. There are some great free/cheap tools that provide lots of pre-made templates, but if you want the full customizability to create exactly what you want, Adobe Premiere Pro is the way to go.
Pros: Adobe Premiere Pro is a gold standard in professional video editing software. I like how well it integrates with other native Adobe CC programs so that I can drag and drop in Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Audition content. This makes it incredibly easy to maintain formatting, layers, etc.
Cons: This is a little annoyance because as a whole the program is excellent - I can't understand why there aren't two specific features: 1. Why can you not drag a rectangular mask? You have to manually grab each corner point and try to get the lines level, often having to resort to dragging guides onto the frame. 2. Why isn't there an easy option to round the corners of a video frame? I often use smaller videos within the larger frame, and to soften the edges, I need to use a mask and expand. There really ought to be an easier rounding tool.

I have been using Adobe Premiere Pro for several years and have completed many video editing projects. The integration of video and audio is seamless!
Pros: Adobe Premiere Pro is a great product for video editing. The features at a great cost is a nice combination that is hard to find in the software world.
Cons: While the software is very intuitive and easy to use, there are a few features that are complex by nature which makes them a little difficult to use and understand. This is mainly an issue if you don't use the product on a regular basis.

A very good editing tool, and one which will pretty much give the ability to produce what you want. You will need some time to learn the product to get more out of it. And if it is just straight forward tutorial videos you want, maybe Prem Pro isn't your answer. But if you want to be more advances with affects, colour grading, audio work, then this maybe the answer.
Pros: Prem pro gives you endless capabilities with video editing. And with the continued addition of AI features into Premier Pro, I have found my output of content is much better quality, especially not being an advanced user. The overall interface is good, can take some getting used to, but once you set yourself up it is a good workspace.
Cons: Whilst you can jump into Prem Pro and edit content as a new user, it does have quite learning curve to start to be able to utilise its features, even some of the simpler editing features. I do find Prem Pro is heavy work on machines, so a good laptop or PC is needed to handle heavier tasks. Screen recording could be improved also.

Adobe Premiere Pro is a capable and professional-grade video editor that is well worth the effort to learn. It is a trustworthy tool for making anything from quick social clips to full-length projects. If you are serious about video editing, you won't find much better than this software.
Pros: This software delivers all the editor tools I need! Everything from simple cuts to very advanced transitions and effects. The interface is sleek and customizable, which helps within my workflow. The integration with other Adobe apps, such as After Effects and Photoshop, gives me ease of navigation and connection.
Cons: The software can be resource-heavy at times, especially on older machines. Occasional crashes or slow render times can interrupt your flow, but saving frequently helps avoid big setbacks.

Overall, great for longer, more professional looking videos. More than you need for creating Reels and social content.
Pros: Lots of customization options for creating professional videos for a small business. Pairing with an AdobeStock membership is especially helpful.
Cons: A lot of time and features to learn, so not as great for creating Reels or short social media content. Can use in social app editing for free instead.

Great product, but not as easy to use as some other things on the market. Definitely on the more expensive side as well.
Pros: Premiere Pro is a great tool for video editing, very user friendly and robust in editing features like clipping video and audio.
Cons: I wish it was easier to implement text/images to the video and animation without having to use After Effects. I also with is was easier to implement and mix audio.
Emily J. · Operations Manager and Media Designer · Health, Wellness and Fitness · June 6, 2025
Anonymous User · Motion Design Director · Design · May 13, 2025
Pros: I love how intuitive and powerful Premiere Pro is for video editing. The timeline is super flexible, and the range of editing tools lets me do everything I need for a polished final product. Plus, it integrates smoothly with other Adobe apps like After Effects and Audition.
Cons: What I like least is that Premiere can get a little slow with complex timelines or heavy effects, especially on older machines. It makes my computer sound like its about to fly away.

I had a gratifying experience after spending hours using Adobe Premiere Pro editing videos and sprinkling transitions
Pros: Premiere lets stacking many clips and audio pieces together without spending time to log footage. The timing frames makes long session short
Cons: But the monthly fee feels heavy like a brick in my pocket, and the export crashes pop up exactly

We've been able to produce professional quality videos for client campaigns to help our studio keep a high level of creativity while meeting the tight deadlines.
Pros: Adobe Premiere Pro allows me to manage this kind of work-step, making me in charge of everything from color correction to volume levelling. I love how seamlessly it works with After Effects if I need to work in some motion graphics.
Cons: It tends to be quite resource-intensive on my computer, particularly when working with 4K projects, so I’ve had to purchase more powerful hardware.
