Overall, ArtCloud has been a time-saver and provided more visibility into our market. I now only have to input inventory once, sync it to the website, Artsy, and marketing emails. We're able to optimize in-person sales and connect with collectors who walk into the gallery. Sending follow up emails will be such a time saver since we can essentially plug and chug inventory instead of manually input details. Migration was tedious since we were using an on-prem platform that was so nuanced. The ArtCloud team was (impressively) involved and spent ample time with us. They were with us every step of the way and even made changes to their own migration pathways to make sure all historical data was visible to us. I am forever thankful to the ArtCloud team.
Pros: ArtCloud is a great, centralized platform that provides real-time analytics into prospective sales. It helps optimize day-to-day functions and essentially gives me a one stop shop for all things marketing, collector communication, website and inventory management. It wasn't difficult to learn and I like that I can customize searches to be as specific or broad as possible. Being able to see collectors interest in specific artists makes it helpful to target communication as well. We have been able to consolidate our marketing, emailing, inventory and sales management in one place instead of navigating/paying for multiple subscriptions. We no longer have to deal with a third party for our website and I love how our inventory automatically syncs to the website.
Cons: It is difficult to say any cons because anytime I have had a concern, it was addressed quickly by our customer success rep, who provided existing functions on the platform to mitigate the concern (since there are multiple ways to do certain things) and/or the developers will actually go in and make a change more conducive to our gallery's workflow.

[sensitive content hidden] with ArtCloud assisted us extensively with ArtCloud, and she was absolutely wonderful every step of the way. We will be sending people to her and recommending ArtCloud.
Pros: ArtCloud is a robust power-house of a platform that helps gallerists from A-Z. Their customer service is unmatched, and they produce websites that are both beautiful and functional. A gallerists's dream, ArtCloud exceeds the quality of their competitors.
Cons: ArtCloud is a master in its area of specialty, and we really see no flaws. It is comprehensive technically in terms of what it can do and beautifully designed.

The software team in the user experience are easy to understand once you get the hang of it.
Pros: The support we get from [sensitive content hidden] is great. They take the time to research issues and provide excellent responses that are easy to understand.
Cons: Integration into Quickbooks is difficult for QuickBooks to read. The knowledge base is not that extensive. The website set up areas look difficult to learn.

Pros: It is comprehensive, easy to use and support is alway there and responce is quick.
Cons: i cannot think of any that is not resolved yet.

Pros: The cost/benefit analysis is on point and the customer service is on point. I really appreciate ArtCloud's value and service. Thank you.
Cons: Sometimes features are not built out intuitively and ArtCloud occasionally lacks features, like the inability to schedule a mass email. ArtCloud is responsive to concerns, however.

Pros: It makes business, design and marketing easier. It is fast and user friendly. Saves time as it generates its own certificates and invoices. Really good customer service. Help is always there when needed.
Cons: Unfortunately, some much desired features require an upgrade of membership.

My partner and I own Sarah Rockower Studio together. She is the talent who makes fabulous paintings and I'm the nerd who manages the company. A couple years back I was doing some research for a couple galleries to find an alternative to ArtBase (🤮) inventory manager which is how I discovered ArtCloud. I did a LOT of research and found ArtCloud to be the best of the best. When Sarah and I were starting our own business I was lucky to find that ArtCloud had just - then - opened up their platform to individual artists after only being available to galleries. Score! I signed us up right away because, duh.
Pros: I use ArtCloud and I adore the company. Their support is top notch and very accessible. Their website builder is drag and drop and easy to use and, again, if I have any questions, they're answered quickly and thoroughly. They also have an inventory manager complete with payment/social media integration, email campaigns, analytics, invoice creation and much more. As a singular artist, we pay $48 per month (no startup fee) - which is the basic package for both services. $29 for the inventory manager (up to 500 works) and $19 for website. They top out at $149 & $99 per month which provides more features that we don't require right now (though some features I would LOVE to use...it's not in the budget yet). They often host meetings for artists about business and software use which are live but can be viewed later. They don't take a commission on any sale.
Cons: There isn't much. Recently I discovered that I would like to edit my website's mobile pages separate from the web version which is not possible. Yet. I trust, however, that ArtCloud dev team will come up with this feature in the future. Future feature!

The customer service has been exceptional from initial contact through to connecting my domain/website and now using it on a daily basis. Everything is elegant and well-designed.
Pros: Our website is stunning! People are blown away by how beautiful and easy to navigate it is. We love the ease with which we can enter and manage the information that previously took multiple spreadsheets, documents and applications to achieve. We feel like we've been given the gift of extra hours in our days!
Cons: We regularly produce events such as small concerts, workshops, retreats etc. We sell tickets or seats to these, and currently have to classify and treat them the same as selling artwork. This is confusing for customers, and it would be nice to have an additional category or product type that would accommodate things like this.

[sensitive content hidden] and I had a training zoom call last week that was absolutely amazing. Her grasp of the application and how to tailor it to our specific needs is second to none. I thoroughly enjoyed how simple she made it all to a novice to digest. I can't remember a time in recent history when I has such a pleasant customer service experience.
Pros: It is very intuitive.
Cons: It sometimes creates unnecessary duplicates because of the auto-save feature

When I decided to revamp my website to include an e-commerce capability, I joined ArtCloud approximately a year ago.I discovered that I was utilizing numerous software programs for functions like email contacts and campaigns, invoicing, inventory administration, and many more, but with ArtCloud, everything would be housed under one roof.During my shift to a new web presence, I found the ArtCloud personnel to be very patient and helpful. For a more complex and professional collection of art-related platforms, I heartily recommend using ArtCloud.
Pros: Having several software packages under one roof--e-commerce, e-mail contacts, inventory management, business forms, etc.
Cons: I find it difficult to manipulate some of the software, but the support team is very helpful.

We're very happy ArtCloud customers. We're a small, young gallery in San Francisco and our work has become much easier to manage with ArtCloud. We've been able to significantly reduce the amount of manual work by using inventory management, website management and invoicing functionality. Needless to say, we're big fans!
Pros: The product, overall customer service and support.
Cons: Lack of automated integration with Artsy.
Ernesto Q. · Founder & Director · Fine Art · August 22, 2023
Pros: I like that ArtCloud allows me to consolidate the most complicated parts of my business: inventory management, client relationship management, and website management in a single spot.
Cons: I wish ArtCloud would auto convert dimensions from inches to cm. I understand why it cannot convert currencies, but the conversion from inches to cm is a stable conversion. In so many ways, it helps to reduce redundancies and it would be great if it could perform this conversion!

Although the system is good until the support issues are resolved, I don't recommend you do business with them. Unless you are willing to pay for their website services. Maybe this is the problem; they are trying to push their web development team, resulting in a lack of support for regular accounts. And the support person is excellent for the job; she manages very well to talk a lot without saying anything other than underlying rude messages.
Pros: The inventory management is excellent and easy to use.
Cons: Customer service does not exist in this company, although they offer customer service. They have two levels of service Pro and regular. Ours is a regular account that only receives support by email. The people in that position about a year ago were excellent. This team is going down the hill now. The person in customer service is very rude. You get answers that bottom line only to prove how not smart you are; you end with more questions than answers. I exchanged eleven emails but never got a straight answer. This has happened two times already. My third experience was before Christmas when I needed to add pages to my website. I was told there was a "system bug," I cannot add new pages. All the plans that were made for the season had to be canceled them.

I really like them and the site. Get many compliments.
Pros: I had fast a professional website and got really good help to get it going. Support appreciated.
Cons: It took a while before I was found online. (And of course maybe my own fault).

Pros: We started using ArtCloud in 2020 and couldn't imagine doing business without it! It's increased our business and productivity and the features are so easy to use. If we have any issues or questions, their team has always responded quickly and is extremely helpful. We worked closely with their website developer, [sensitive content hidden], and she was dream to work with! She designed a beautiful website and was receptive to our vision while recommending key features that made the site even better than we could have imagined. We're so excited to launch it! Thanks to all at ArtCloud, especially [sensitive content hidden] :) !
Cons: Overall it's been a great experience, but their website builder doesn't allow items to be ordered easily, so that's been a little cumbersome to navigate.

Pros: Ease of sending emails with the photo and information
Cons: Too Expensive for everything. It is very hard to search certain things.

Pros: I opened my gallery in April 2022. I was not sure what website/POS platform to use. I asked a colleague what site she used with her gallery and she recommended ArtCloud. I am tech challenged! ArtCloud was our best decision in opening this gallery. Everything a gallery needs is in this platform. And I mean everything! Including wall tags, Mailchimp capabilities, POS, inventory…everything one needs for a gallery. The staff helped me set up our site on 2 occasions. Recently I wanted to enhance our home page. Like I said I am tech challenged and couldn’t make the changes I wanted. This was my issue not ArtCloud. However the staff was more than gracious and accommodating to my needs and helped me with this page at no cost. The staff is there for you when you need help! The features of this platform go beyond art galleries. Any business with inventory and POS can succeed with this platform. I want to thank the staff of ArtCloud for everything! I highly recommend them.
Cons: I am tech challenged so my opinion on this isn’t good.

Pros: I really like the aesthetic and the costumer service is outstanding. I work with [sensitive content hidden] and she is amazing at resolving my issues.
Cons: It is sometimes complicated to figure out how to make things look the way I want to but I always get it resolved with your help.

Emails to the ArtCloud support team are answered in a prompt manner.?
Pros: I like that ArtCloud is intuitive and very user-friendly. I was out of the workforce for 20 years raising children. I was nervous about learning new technology but the ease of ArtCloud made the learning curve manageable and now it’s second nature.
Cons: My accountant believes that some of the bookkeeping functions that track artist payments could be simplified.
Kim K. · Owner/Gallerist · Arts and Crafts · April 19, 2023
History of sales, invoicing and inventory magament and location.
Pros: The product is easy to use, and the team is great
Cons: Put more currencies options, and more options on the tearsheets
Santiago R. · Director · Arts and Crafts · April 6, 2023
Artcloud has been a great system for us, and the customer service chat has been very helpful.
Pros: For a very small studio with two "employees" (artist and representative) Artcloud offers an easy yet very comprehensive way to keep track of every piece, as well as important details about the piece and its history.
Cons: It would be wonderful to be able to create a customized Certificate of Authenticity to print directly from the website, but perhaps it is offered and I just haven't figured out how yet.
Justin N. · Artist Representative · Arts and Crafts · March 30, 2023
Pros: The customer service at ArtCloud is fantastic for many reasons - they are engaged and thoughtful about the use of the program and constantly updating it. The ease of use is fantastic and the website design is amazing.
Cons: There isn't anything I have issues with that they aren't actively working to solve/update
Sienna P. · Director · Retail · March 28, 2023
ArtCloud has been very responsive to our suggestions regarding services and adapting to our needs. I can easily start a conversation with a new or existing customer whether in person or through our website and make a sale in an instant or through a dialogue over the course of multiple emails, phone calls, or visits. Through using the website and the interactive app, I have access to all of the information about the the artists and their artwork. I am then able to provide the information to clients and artists with very easily.
Pros: ArtCloud makes it easy to upload images and create inventory pieces that help us clearly show the aspects of paintings and sculptures when customers cannot be physically in our gallery. A lot of industries are moving towards internet and cloud based facilitation, but when it comes to the gallery experience nothing beats an in person visit. ArtCloud allows us recap and follow up on visits, promote new artwork and shows, while collecting information from our clients with ease.
Cons: Sometimes when new updates are implemented, it actually adds to the amount of clicks and extra pages to sort through. At times, this makes previously simple procedures more time consuming. What's good for one may not always be good for all.
Nate R. · Assistant Manager/Lead Sales · Arts and Crafts · March 11, 2023
We have used ArtCloud for over 8 years. ArtCloud's interest in our needs started at the very beginning and continues through this day. Their feedback and response is nearly immediate. They actually care about what we need, sadly this is rare in business relationships. I cannot imagine being in the art gallery business and not have ArtCloud as an ally.
Pros: Our gallery is the quintessential small business; there are two of us who do everything. I handle marketing (and everything else), the [sensitive content hidden] handles business and everything else. ArtCloud provides THE solution for inventory, artist, contact and WEBSITE design and updates in one place for a very friendly price point.
Cons: The things I don't like are so nit-picky I cannot think of them easily.
