We initially used a tool called ORB since we only offered usage-based pricing. However, as we transitioned to hybrid pricing with both usage and subscription-based models, ORB couldn’t support our needs. Zenskar, on the other hand, supports multiple pricing models and is highly configurable to suit any scenario. This will allow us to scale effortlessly in the future.
Pros: Zenskar is incredibly easy to set up. What I loved most is that it's fully configurable and not restricted to just usage billing like other tools.
Cons: Nothing specific comes to mind as a con. They have some fantastic features in their roadmap, and I’m eagerly waiting for them. If anything, the 'waiting' could be considered a minor downside. :)

The overall experience has been excellent. While invoicing wasn’t a significant issue for us before, revenue recognition was a major pain point. Zenskar helped us create custom revenue recognition rules for different billing schedules and generated accurate, ASC 606-compliant journal entries without errors. It also integrates seamlessly with QuickBooks and Stripe.
Pros: Zenskar is user-friendly, and I really like the platform's UI. Our sales team frequently creates different contract terms with custom billing schedules to close enterprise deals, and Zenskar was able to seamlessly translate these terms into an automated billing workflow, which was impressive. Additionally, it handled revenue recognition for these custom schedules, freeing up our finance team to focus on more strategic work.
Cons: Nothing major comes to mind. It does take a bit of time to get familiar with the product, but the Zenskar team guided me through configuring our contracts on the platform. It was a one-time effort, and now all our deals from HubSpot are automatically created in Zenskar.
