I think it is a great way to implement accounting within any size business, especially when looking for efficient systems.
Pros: I like the full general ledger, accounts payable and receivable and bank reconciliation capabilities.
Cons: The platform has a learning curve, especially for people new to enterprise style accounting systems.

Overall, my experience with MYOB Acumatica has been positive. It is a powerful system with strong capabilities across accounting, reporting, and project tracking. While it requires time to learn, it performs reliably and feels well-suited for long-term use.
Pros: MYOB Acumatica offers strong accounting and reporting features with good security controls. Project tracking and estimate creation are well integrated, making it easier to manage financial and project data in one place.
Cons: The learning curve can be steep at first, especially for new users. Some features require time and support to fully understand and configure.

The ability to access real-time data from anywhere is a significant advantage. can be customized to suit specific business needs, a key selling point for many.
Pros: Appreciate having finance, sales, inventory, project management, and payroll all in one integrated system, which streamlines operations and eliminates data silos. This reduces manual data entry and improves overall efficiency.
Cons: Very difficult to fix errors, as the system offers no ability to simply delete or amend certain transactions, creating messy records.

Using ProEst has really streamlined our operations. Estimate creation and invoicing are simple yet powerful, and staff management integration means we’ve cut down on admin overhead. I feel secure trusting the system thanks to good security practices, and customer support always helps when we hit a snag. Overall, a strong tool that delivers real value.
Pros: ProEst gives me confidence because of its strong security, and the estimate creation tools are straightforward and useful. I like how invoicing and staff management are built in so I don’t need separate systems. The customer support has been responsive when I had questions, which matters a lot. The only issue I’ve had is a small bug in quote duplication — otherwise, it’s a great value.
Cons: Quotes and quote management are handy and pretty intuitive. The value for money feels fair for a small business. However, customer support can be slow at times and the UI feels a bit clunky when managing a large number of invoices. It’s useful, but it could use polish

Overall great. Although i had a couple of crashes, i enjoy the use and service it provides. Choose your implementation carefully.
Pros: Loved how flexible it was, and how much i was able to customize. Once you spend enough time with the program, you get the ins & outs of it.
Cons: I think the learning curb to customize is hard, but once you get it its fine. Sometimes, depending on whats going on in the device, there are some performance issues, but they're not horrible.

Good for what ya get , basically it’s met all My needs in one product that could not be done elsewhere
Pros: It works just as it should pretty amazing glad I tried it out because it gives great value and could not be happier
Cons: Learning curve , great customer support great project tracking and works well with everything I overall pleased

The software is dependable and performs its intended functions effectively. While it lacks advanced reporting features and a highly polished user interface, it includes all the essential tools you need. MYOB adapted well to the updates required for STP reporting, JobKeeper payments, and Government Grants.
Pros: A solid and dependable solution for accounting and payroll. It integrates smoothly with our timesheet and rostering app (Deputy). Customer support is generally excellent and available for extended hours.
Cons: Some features aren’t very intuitive. For example, when I tried to run a report on how much we spent with a particular supplier over the past year, the information wasn’t located where I expected it (in their card file). There are a few ways to access this data, but I had to contact support to learn how. Additionally, although we don’t usually create invoices, when I needed to make one, I found it quite challenging to format it the way I wanted and to include bank details instead of credit card information for payments.

A solid ERP for large organizations. Once configured, it delivers excellent visibility and control over financial operations.
Pros: A strong financial tool with reporting and automation features. Integrations work smoothly once properly configured.
Cons: It has a complex setup and steep learning curve for non-technical users. Support response times could be faster.
Clara R. · QA Manager · Banking · November 9, 2025
Pros: The fact you can have a detailed list of every movement of each document allows a great trail for all users to follow each purchase order, sales order and inventory movement
Cons: There is a lot of steps and until we all get used to the new system it is a lot of work but hopefully the flow will be more seemless

reviews from the beginning so that's the least overall I was pleased I feel like customer service is about the only thing just to be more relatable to the customer
Pros: I like most was the reviews that I read before I bought the product on and it seemed like an elite products different from the other products that I had researched
Cons: At least customer service was not that far from where I expected it to be for the company reviews from the beginning so that's the least

Overall this was an okay experience that is a learning curve and I feel like the more you use it it may be helpful
Pros: I liked the customer support along with the estimates and scheduling that helps the accounting along the way
Cons: I feel like the security was not the best and I kept on getting pop ups. So therefor reporting was difficult

Overall, experience with myob was nice recommendation and experience from a dear friend who is a user of capterra and wrote referrals and reviews here..
Pros: I liked everything about myob acumatica the app was amazing and customer service and support and user friendly you only need to know what this application is for !
Cons: Nothing to say the least I liked everything from user interface to control to user control to interface and support !

Overall, due to the scalability, usability, industry-specific editions, real-time data, feature to automate manual processes, and well integration with other apps, it is a worthwhile software to have.
Pros: Good integration with timesheet tools like Deputy; generally solid product support. What I love most is that it’s cloud-based, so I can access the system from anywhere—even check reports and sales from my phone when I’m on the go.
Cons: Workflow for low-volume or one-off parts can be clunky unless heavily customized. It takes 10 times longer to enter an invoice or do anything, than in MYOB AccountRight.

As I previously stated my overall experience was great drone security to management four stars across the board
Pros: Was easy to use highly recommended customer support is phenomenal one of the best programs out there
Cons: I have nothing negative to say my experience was truly wonderful I am happy and would highly recommend

Extremely disappointing, Costly, Frustrating, Business crushing, support takes a very long time to return any answers to issues, success manager is never available and offers very little help. Do Not Enter Myob Acumatica.
Pros: Nothing, we have been struggling with Acumatica over 3 years, implementation was a disaster and to date quotes cannot accurately calculate tax, any time you require help costs $$$$ and in our experience does not get resolved. The system is very unstable, very complex and not user friendly.
Cons: The sales pitch to lure you into spending tens of thousands of dollars, ongoing fixes to fix issues from 3 years ago, that you get billed for over and over again. As a business owner for over 20 years, this has been my worst decision and experience - This could become a CLASS ACTION against MYOB.

Pros: MYON Acumatica is very easy to use. I was able to quickly learn the programming to immediately start using it with my business.
Cons: I have yet to come across any issues with this software. They do have a customer service option that you can use if you have issues.
Katlyn C. · Owner · Real Estate · July 7, 2025
Pros: MYOB has turned my business around. I have enjoyed using the program. The program is easy to use and requires Lil Time training.
Cons: I liked everything about MYOB compared to other programs I’ve used in the past. It was much easier to adapt to and really helped my business.
Stephanie B. · Owner · Health, Wellness and Fitness · June 20, 2025
We had one upgrade that took excel reporting offline for a month, support from MYOB is usually an email saying they can't replicate. MYOB uses cached mode a lot to address its performance issues and then this causes issues with the cached record being used instead. So, you can see on the screen say the TEST company but actually you are in the Live company and it's only the URL that shows this. MYOB recently told all users that they had changed their terms from "month by month" to annual subscription. And if you increase your user count then you are committed until the end of the 12 month term but if you reduce your user count then you must still pay the same amount until the end of the 12 month term
Pros: This is a basic accounting software with inventory. Xero offers a better solution with add-ons and friendlier pricing.
Cons: There are better products like Business Central that are a lot cheaper, more features and stronger designed. MYOB only handles foreign currency based on one master currency, its inventory valuation is by warehouses so you land up with different unit costs across warehouses, its licensing is complex and doesn't always work, the use of subaccounts instead of dimensions is messy as every GL code lands up with a subaccount, it doesn't have AI, the database structure is complex so reporting for inventory is particularly difficult. Job costing doesn't fully integrate with accounts payable.

I’ve been using MYOB Acumatica for over 3 years now, and honestly, it’s one of the best ERP systems I’ve worked with—especially if your company is growing and needs a system that can keep up. The platform is super flexible and covers everything: accounting, project management, sales, inventory, and detailed financial reporting. What I love most is that it’s cloud-based, so I can access the system from anywhere—even check reports and sales from my phone when I’m on the go. The reports are super detailed and customizable, and the interface is clean and not overly complicated.
Pros: Highly flexible and covers most business areas Detailed, customizable reports Cloud access from anywhere Great integration with other tools
Cons: Setup is a bit complex and takes time Some updates aren’t clearly communicated Pricing might be a bit high for small businesses at first

It's definitely a nice way of getting an overview of your fincials, customers, etc however the design and the layout is definitely a learning curve.
Pros: I like how it's very centrilized and allows me to have an overview of the functions of my company.
Cons: I don't like the current UI, it seems very outdated.

Overly complex to use and expensive support
Pros: Complex and unforgiving to use. Good but complicated (expensive) customisation
Cons: Can never terminate: no backup and leave option…just pay forever
Brad K. · CFO · Staffing and Recruiting · April 3, 2025
Product & Performance Issues. Acumatica is difficult to set up and navigate. Customization Challenges – While it offers supposed flexibility, deep customization is often required and is expensive development work. System Performance – slow performance when handling large datasets, and sometimes even small. Expensive for a small businesses – MYOB Acumatica’s pricing structure isn’t always SMB-friendly. Hidden Costs – Customizations, integrations, and support can add up quickly. Customer Support & Service - Inconsistent Support – long response times, lack of local support. Heavy dependence on resellers and third-party consultants.
Pros: We have really struggled with MYOB Acumatica for 4+ years, and we still cannot get anyone to give us a clear understanding of what is going on. There are a couple of good people, but the majority could not care who you are. It has cost us an insurmountable amount of money to develop, fix and more importantly, we have lost customers and staff due to the pain it has caused us.
Cons: The development and platform team offer no real information about the work they are billing you for and really offer no insight to the issues they are fixing. This makes it really challenging to trust them, but even worse it is challenging to budget, manage costs and run your business. Then this will recur every year in an upgrade, with no record of previous issues. so you will pay for the same resolutions the next year.
Tim P. · Managing Director · Food & Beverages · April 1, 2025
Very disappointing. There is no one trainer that knows the product inside out, you are being trained by different people who know different components of the product, and they are also learning as they go in some cases. That's if they call you back as the wait can be 5 minutes or it can be 2 weeks when someone takes a holiday.
Pros: It's supposed to be an all encompassing product for our business which is exactly what we were looking for. It was cloud based.
Cons: The base cost and ongoing monthly bills for support, licences and add on app is astronomical. It has a very outdated interface and is not intuitive. It takes 10 times longer to enter an invoice or do anything, than in MYOB Account Right. Mistakes can not easily be corrected or edited which is frustrating, creating a mess in the records. When MYOB does an "improvement" they increase our monthly bill at the same time to cover their costs. Ideally, they should wear the cost of any improvements of this ERP system. If you want to create a simple customised template for an invoice etc, it's not possible. You can pay someone around $800 to customise it for you, but they will not teach you to do it yourself without further costs involved.

Good and handy for what I needed it for at the time
Pros: Easy to use and manageable some user friendly option
Cons: Nothing at it is a good system for a beginner and advanced user

Excellent platform, we love working with clients and partners to get our e-commerce customers where they need to get to.
Pros: That it’s the #1 ERP in Australasia, that’s a superb win!
Cons: Nothing comes to mind. Quite tricky to deploy.
