Great experience, my students love it! The ease of use and the variety of features make it a must-have tool for any educator. Overall, ClassPoint has enhanced my teaching methods and made my classes more dynamic and enjoyable.
Pros: The wheel and the card view and the interactive quizzez
Cons: not all options are for free. The app tends to lag when using PowerPoint, which can be frustrating during presentations. Additionally, some of the interactive quiz options are limited

My students and I love ClassPoint. I can easily add interactive elements to my already created PowerPoints.
Pros: Easy to use! Changed the dynamic of my classroom. Students are more engaged and I can easily and quickly monitor understanding of the skill/content being taught.
Cons: Would like to see a drag feature for the students to use. Cost might be a deterrent for some.

Absolutely love Classpoint; I can't imagine teaching without it now.
Pros: I love that I can make my powerpoints interactive for me but even more that I can get the children involved on their tablets and I get their instant feedback- All the notes that are usually lost on whiteboards are saved and I can go back to it. Invaluable.
Cons: I'd love the children to be able to 'drag' objects on their ipads and then submit those.

It's very easy to use and turns a standard presentation into something more fun and special =)
Pros: Lots of question types available including multiple-choice, fill in the blank, multiple selection, etc. I also really like the gamefication aspects such as the leaderboard points system for various levels. The templates provided are quite nice and inspirational!
Cons: There are a few technical components such as the system slowing down the presentation and sometimes it can kick users out of the session. Select many question type forces you to select ALL the correct responses to get the question right so if you want to ask a question like "what tools would you be interested learning more about?" A. Tool #1 B. Tool #2 C. Tool #3 and D. Tool #4 E. None of the above - If the correct answers are A,B,C,D and E is incorrect - you would need to select ALL A,B,C,D when really maybe you're only interested in the tools under A & B - but if you only select A & B, you would get the question wrong

I have been very impressed with ClassPoint. The kids have been very engaged with the setup and often ask to do a word cloud. I am happy that the students are able to sign in and access the slides on their own laptop. I have also been impressed that I have shared it with other teachers.
Pros: I like that PowerPoint becomes more interactive with students and therefore more engaging. I like the word cloud feature and also the ability for students to download specific slides to their own laptops. I also like that students can have the slides right in front of them.
Cons: I would like to have had a few more features before you have to upgrade.

Pros: It is so easy to use and makes your PowerPoints so engaging.
Cons: Needs more features, don’t get me wrong it has a few great features but we always want more right?

I do a lot of online teaching. My style is to have the training as interactive as possible, so, I like having input by the trainees. I also use experiential exercises. In the past, I've had to have separate Word documents that I would fill in. ClassPoint allows me to do all of that and more while staying in PowerPoint.
Pros: Well certainly that the free version still has so many useful tools. How well integrated it is with PowerPoint, it's use is intuitive and there is a small learning curve.
Cons: I really can't think of anything that I dislike about the app.

Very happy with this product and I have all my faculty colleagues asking me what it is and how to get it for the entire department!
Pros: I love the ability to use AI to prepare a range of questions from PPT slides questions at varying levels of Bloom's Taxonomy. This saves me SO MUCH TIME! Its a quick knowledge check for my students that gives me an idea of what they know, don't know or may need some clarification on to fully understand. Then I can go deeper in conversation and on the tests. I an also randomly select students to answer questions which is always a plus to make sure they are always on their toes and paying attention! And best yet...students love it and grades are strong!
Cons: So far I haven't figured out a way to create questions from a group of slides using the AI feature, which would be NEXT LEVEL awesome! I also would love to find a way for the students to access the questions after class to remind them of the questions we went over in class. I haven't figured that out either since I don't share my slides with them, I share a student version without the questions and a few other things missing so they have to pay attention and I can change things last minute, etc. If this feature exists I haven't found it yet ut need to do more exploring, I'm only a few weeks into it.

I absolutely love it! I use it most for review days before tests and my kids love it! They enjoy the competition and new ways to practice.
Pros: I like the variety of options to help my students learn and practice skills we are working on in class.
Cons: At first set up was a tad confusing when setting up classes, I also felt it was hard to go and erase the previous groups answered before my next class started with all the different transitions going on.

Overall, ClassPoint has been very helpful in supporting more participation during our training.
Pros: I love how it has helped bring more organization to our online training. The tutorials are helpful.
Cons: Learning how to navigate the taskbar to set everything up was a bit disorienting, but after some practice, it got easier with time!

Class point was an overall good experience.
Pros: Class point made me do better in my classes it was amazing !
Cons: Class point doesn’t have a function for polls that are like multiple choice answers.

Overall I really like it, though I have only really used the name picker. I tried the questions but it's limited because I don't have a subscription, so that didn't work for me and I had to use a different option (website). I have also watched some of their instructional videos that I really liked, including using AI to generate a PowerPoint. I love learning stuff like that.
Pros: The random name selection option, specifically the cards instead of the wheel (to mix it up because I know another professor uses a wheel). The students like when I award them "stars."
Cons: Students have to join the virtual classroom each time. Slows things down in the classroom. Seems like I could create classes and if someone is absent (rare in our program), then just skip them that day.

This product has had a transformative impact on my classroom, inspiring students who previously did not contribute to now actively participate in discussions.
Pros: ClassPoint has significantly transformed the college classroom experience by turning traditional lectures into engaging, interactive sessions. For the first time in years, teaching feels genuinely enjoyable, and student feedback has reached an all-time high. It's surprising that more educators aren't using this tool to enhance PowerPoint-based lectures.
Cons: I cannot use its' tools when creating a PowerPoint video. It also need to have much more connectivity to EDCafe.
Gary S. · Assistant Professor · Education Management · November 27, 2024
Bit of a learning curve but really enjoy using it with the students. We present on a large touch screen and when we found out we could draw in the platform it added a new level your teaching.
Pros: That I could use the drawing features while in the presentation
Cons: That the quiz and annotations don’t clear when you close the program
Leslie L. · Clinical instructor · Higher Education · November 27, 2024
I love it! This is a great program to increase the high level of engagement
Pros: The high level of engagement using PowerPoint with students. It’s easy for students to see how many points they have
Cons: I liked everything but I would like to see ClassPoint as a Google slides extension
Octavio F. · Teacher · Education Management · November 27, 2024
Pros: Increased opportunity for more active student participation, including an anonymous option
Cons: Less frequent but still some occasional “crashing” of ppt
Mike S. · Assistant Professor · Education Management · November 27, 2024
Pros: Uniqueness and ability to make the PowerPoints interactive.
Cons: You have to pay to use some of the features but everyone has to make some money right. The free features were so good that it does make you want to purchase the additions.
Bree D. · Coordinator · Education Management · November 27, 2024
My students love it and I love that everything for engagement and interaction is all within one window.
Pros: Classpoint is intuitive and is a great interactive tool for students and teachers.
Cons: The only negative I can find is that it does not work on Google Slides.
Brittany B. · Teacher · Education Management · November 27, 2024
Very good and colourful, easy to use and intuitive
Pros: Moveable objects, colours, ability to keep the writings on the PowerPoint
Cons: App closing on your phone when opening a new window
Jasmine B. · Teacher · Education Management · November 27, 2024
As stated above, Classpoint is a game changer for me and my students. I have a presentation coming up to around 70 parents/ carers. I am going to use it to get their feedback
Pros: This is a totally interactive teaching tool for presentations. It enables even the least confident student to take part and I can choose whether the responses are shown with names or without, depending on the question posed. I use Classpoint for virtually all presentations now and even the music is interesting as it enlivens the students
Cons: I am still learning some of the less used applications but as I play with it, I am coming up with more and more ways to use it.
Paul R. · Head of studies and lecturer in Policing Studies · Education Management · November 27, 2024
Love it! My kids love it! So inclusive and fun.
Pros: Interactive elements. Instant feedback. Love that you can insert the student responses immediately after. The students also find it useful when taking notes as they can display it on their screen.
Cons: Only available on Windows. Some of my colleagues have Macs.
Keely H. · Teacher · Primary/Secondary Education · November 27, 2024
What started as a random discovery has resulted in a number of teachers utilising the tools. We have had fantastic support thus far.
Pros: Built into PPT so no need to leave presentation. Easy for students to use
Cons: Signs out often and doesn't have ability for students to use moveable objects.
Belind E. · Junior Secondary HOD · Education Management · November 27, 2024
Students love it and the pro version with AI is a time saver
Pros: Add on to PowerPoint so I can share my resources and spruce up existing ones easily
Cons: Cost and as an Australian school teacher I paid for it myself as finance would t do a credit card payment nor a foreign currency bank deposit
Nicola M. · Teacher · Education Management · October 15, 2024
Classpoint helps me to make my PowerPoint presentation more enjoyable for my students. Especially those who struggle every time we need to enter a code: with classpoint's unique code, it makes everything easier.
Pros: Modernise easily our PowerPoint presentations
Cons: It makes PowerPoint (and my computer) run slowlier.
