HSI Donesafe

Pros: The modular design of the product allows us to design a product suite that suits our business requirements as we are in a unique market with challenges only seen in our space. As the system is modular this will allow us to make specific changes to the workflows and forms as required without needing to completely change the design of the process.

Cons: There have been no real cons to HSI Donesafe so far from our experience. but if I was to call out something it would be the availability of content in the early stages of looking into the platform

Pros: Project Management is well executed. Easy to use and the platform is user friendly. [sensitive content hidden] is very helpful with navigating through the modules. Great value for money.

Cons: Some of the features could have been included as basic requirement. GPS setting could have been in the basic integration and not as an added feature.

Pros: Easy on the eye - design of the modules. Easy to navigate - transitioning from module to module has been seamless. Easy to understand - language used is aligned with industry standards and jargon used.

Cons: Consider simplifying further where possible. Declutter the navigation where possible. Simplify the questions where possible. Ensure the font size, colour is improved for visual comfort.

Pros: HSI Donesfae is intuitive, as the system is contextualised across all implemented modules. This, in effect, allows all information to flow freely while locking down certain areas as required for additional levels of security and confidentiality. It has instructional videos (courses) that allow a user to visually engage with the system if they require assistance. an AI function that also assists when you get stuck!

Cons: Programming the required modules from the HSI Donesafe team requires lead time, so patience is needed in the initial stages to ensure everything is completed on time and correctly.

Pros: What I really appreciate about HSI Donesafe is how user-friendly and well-organized the platform is. It makes managing safety, compliance, and reporting processes much more efficient. The system is highly customizable, which allows us to tailor it to our specific workflows and requirements. I also like how everything is centralized, making it easier to track incidents, audits, and corrective actions in one place. Overall, it has helped improve visibility and accountability across our team

Cons: While my experience has been very positive overall, there are times when certain features can take a bit of time to fully configure to match our needs. Additionally, some processes involve a few extra steps, but once everything is set up, it runs smoothly.

Pros: Flexibility to design bespoke module functionality that meet the needs of our organisation. The ability to automate and integrate modules with a hierarchy of notifications has been valuable and has changed our organisation from low reporting to having a strong reporting culture in five years. Easy to use and easy for our staff to access. From this we have built WHS, Compliance, Contractor Management, Chemical Management and Quality Improvements in the system as well as Injury Management.

Cons: The time for support response can take a while, which can be frustrating when working on a solution.

Pros: The biggest win with HSI Donesafe was how smoothly it was implemented and how quickly our teams could get up and running. The system is intuitive and easy to use, but still powerful enough to handle complex health and safety needs. We really liked the flexibility and customisation options — being able to tailor workflows, forms, fields, and reporting to suit our organisation (rather than changing our processes to fit the system) made a huge difference. The features themselves are strong, well thought out, and practical for real‑world use, especially around incident reporting, actions, and visibility of data. On top of that, the HSI Donesafe team were excellent to work with — responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping us get the most out of the platform, both during implementation and ongoing support.

Cons: Honestly, there wasn’t anything we disliked. The platform met our expectations from the outset, the implementation went smoothly, and the support from the Donesafe team has been consistently strong. Any minor tweaks we needed were easily addressed through configuration or support, so there were no real negatives to call out.

Pros: HSI Donesafe provides a comprehensive and well‑structured approach to health, safety and compliance management. The platform is intuitive for day‑to‑day users, particularly for incident reporting, hazard management and corrective actions. Workflows are logical and configurable, which helps organisations align the system to their internal processes rather than forcing rigid ways of working. Role‑based access and automation improve accountability, visibility and consistency across teams. The centralised nature of the platform makes it easier to track compliance, maintain audit readiness and promote a stronger safety culture across the organisation.

Cons: While functional, parts of the user interface feel dated and could benefit from modernisation. Certain tasks require more clicks than expected, which can slow down frequent users. Reporting and analytics, although useful, can feel limited without additional configuration, and extracting tailored insights is not always as intuitive as it could be. Performance can vary when working with larger datasets, and some advanced features may require training for users to get full value from them.

Pros: The software ensures comprehensive financial policy management and real-time transactions monitoring.

Cons: We have not experienced notable challenges during implementation of the software.

Pros: I love this platform and the simplicity it brings to my role. I a also grateful that this platform continues to evolve. HSI Donesafe have an outstanding team who are alway available. I appreciate that training is alays available for new staff.

Cons: Sometimes more availability for training dates would be good.

Pros: I only deal with Solv no other programs - my exchanges with HSI on this system have been great and very helpful

Pros: The ease of use and support offered by Solv Injury Management has been instrumental in helping me streamline my operations.

Cons: Customizing reports to meet our specific requirements can be a complex task.

Pros: I love the user accessibility and ease of use of the systems. We use multiple systems so I also love the integration between them

Cons: Slight con is that the systems do work differently, so would be better if they were a bit more consistent

Pros: Very versatile to customize to the needs of the organization using the administration backend. Support from consultants for more complex automations available. Some limitation but meets more of the organization system requirement.

Cons: The reporting dashboard is limited compared to the functionality of Power BI. Need to export data to get better analysis.

Pros: Very user friendly; it takes minimal time to train new staff to use the program.

Cons: It isn't as easy to access on a phone. An app would be amazing.

Pros: It has made my work day more efficient. I get notified of tasks i need to complete ensuring I dont miss something important. I can do it all from the easy to use interface

Cons: Occasionally I forget to attach a medical certificate or return to work program when saving data - I wish it would prompt me with something like "did you want to attach a medical certificate" - especially if i click on add medical certificate.

Pros: It is a management tool designed to assist manage claims in accordance with legal requirements. For insured states, the insurers know about the system and are asking us for the reference number!

Cons: There is nothing I do not like about the system!

Pros: How user friendly the system is capturing all the information in place for prompt access if required.

Cons: There are nil cons for my perspective that come to mind. The only improvement I’d like to see would be some virtual 3 monthly training to cover any topics the client advises.

Pros: Always keeping clients up to date with any changes

Cons: No issues at all with the platform at all and can recommend the platform to any user.

Pros: Injury management program Solv injury is very easy to use and has incorporated all the essential requirements for management of employee injuries. Negotiating the systems is very user friendly and integrates links very well with own safety system on site. I have previously used the program three years ago and there has been some innovative additions for IM on the current system that make it much more efficient. One being the ability to analyse trends across sites for particular injuries and that it is a comprehensive one stop shop, a secure platform for all documents related to injury/health management, FFW NWR information.

Cons: Financial outlay is quite high each year.

Cons: No real mobile app and off-line capability

Cons: Poor user interface-not intuitive at all. Our staff had to write large user manuals to explain the arcane steps required for simple operations. Many irritating minor bugs like: long drop down menus not sorted alphabetically, inserting an image in a text box realigns all images etc

Pros: The system is very modular and can be developed anywhere from a simple system to a complex integrated management system. The workflow and automation features reduce double handling and drive processes to really improve from the paper copy days.

Cons: - Print function is a messy format with no quality work arounds (e.g. unable to print a single page within a group of forms) - Support and requested development can be very slow - Reporting options can be very limited and don't allow drill down within Dashboards - Integration with other systems for video is limited to Youtube and Vimeo, direct embedded code doesn't seem to work. - Mobile App is very basic - No manual or training provided from Donesafe for development
