Pros: The reporting configuration was easy and the documents were well written. AD linking was easily configured for LDAP.

Cons: The dashboard is clunky and it is hard to see the auditing reports and other dashboard items.

Pros: I really liked the recordings of the rdp sessions because they allow us to see the actions that are carried out through them

Cons: At the beginning you have to understand its way of use to be able to create WHO, WHEN, WHERE and ACCESS searches.

Pros: The ability to get daily reports that are easy to read. When conducting search, there is no learning curve, you can simply use the software without needing prior exposure or training on it. The reports are very detail and concise. The daily email reports are great because you can see the health of your critical systems, a report of any group policy changes, SharePoint changes, file changes, etc. This makes audit and compliance a breeze and help with incident management.

Cons: Some logon reports can be difficult to comprehend especially when doing an ad hoc report of a logon activity of an account.

Pros: The simple, easy to read log, alert, subscription, and monitoring alerts. Very simple to send by emails.

Cons: I like least the lack of being a SIEM because the collected log information is very simple compared to other log software.

Pros: Netwrix is useful for real time auditing and getting notifications when certain pre defined rules have been met.

Cons: It is not as straight forward to setup as other options, data is not as straight forward.

Pros: I would have to say support at Netwrix was great to work with.

Cons: The complexity it takes to setup the software as there are so many options/feature.

Pros: Email Notifications regarding pending days in password expiration

Cons: Reminder email notifications to users about their password expiry

Pros: The ability to aggregate Active Directory logs

Cons: The interface is a bit clunky and not as intuitive as I would have hoped.

Pros: I like the fact that it does all the Auditing we need within our capacity of needing it. The password manager is super easy to use and set up and it does it perfectly.

Cons: When trying to configure audit reports, we can't deselect lockouts. So, if an account is locked out, and we have a weekly report, I will get about 25 pages of non-useful information such as user lockouts.

Pros: The predefined reports that are provided and the simplistic dashboard.

Cons: A lot of the times it says users have failed logins attempts or read attempts, but when you click to see when or where it's coming from it says there is no data, after it says the opposite on the prior page.

Pros: The features we use it for are great, however that comes at a significant cost

Cons: Not sure we know the full functionality.

Pros: Netwrix Auditor gives me unique insight into my environment. It catches and makes me aware of many things I don't have the manpower to catch on my own. It is an extremely useful tool.

Cons: Some of the reporting causes a excess in alerts.

Pros: We use Netwrix for monitoring our environment and providing real time notifications. Does and excellent job.

Cons: Can be complex to get going. You need to be knowledgeable to setup

Pros: Customization and options are good when setting up all the alerts

Cons: Some detail missing from alerts, have to dig into a problem to find the root of the problem in the description

Pros: Ability to track and record the users' logon activities, AD objects changes, and file access. I also like the reporting feature.

Cons: Need to deploy on-prem. It would be nice if they offered the cloud version.

Pros: Once you have it setup, it works flawlessly and can give deep insight into the activities of employees.

Cons: Reports can be a little confusing as to the structure and figuring out how to get the best data you are looking for. The biggest issue I have is it shows available reports from non-licensed Netwrix applications.

Pros: Friendly interface and responsive support.

Cons: It is not optimized in most cases you are limited.

Pros: I like the real time alerts on changes to our AD.

Cons: I feel I run into issues too often. Some of the UI is a little to complex to navigate.

Pros: Easy to setup, use, and administrate. Cheaper than competitors and plenty of tie-in products offered.

Cons: Could be a bit quicker - despite plenty of resources assigned, it can be a bit slow to run searches. I wish there was some capability to deduplicate alerts / get alerts on real-time abnormal activites.

Pros: Great functionality, very reliable, user-friendly interface.

Cons: If anything it is a little TOO robust, a lot of data to sift through but not really a negative.

Pros: I like how it has a security dashboard built in automatically.

Cons: Sometimes the connections break, and I'm not sure why.
