TeamMate Audit

Pros: Easy to use and automation of various tasks, documentation are also useful. Very good support system from vendor.

Cons: Some tasks are repetitive and time consuming to complete each tasks and steps to move ahead, this can be improved.

Pros: Ease of use when performing audit engagements and the management of audit actions. Appreciate the views available to review data sets.

Cons: 1.Poor reporting functionality as we cannot create custom reports. 2.Audit action date change not reflected on Issue Management home screen.

Pros: I really appreciate the issue tracking and recommendation closure features on Teammate. They make it much easier to follow up on audit issues, monitor progress, and ensure timely closure—very helpful for maintaining accountability and visibility throughout the audit process.

Cons: Limited in Power point outputs. We need to do a manual power point presentation to the board due to this.

Pros: Convenience on having a centralized location for audit workpapers. The platform is very well organized.

Cons: It sometimes takes a while for files to upload. It might be challenging at times navigating through the various features.

Pros: I like the structure of saving documents, history feature, and that dashboards can be added. Overall, it's a good repository tool.

Cons: That you can't add documentation or procedure steps unless you are inside the project. I also don't like that the dashboards aren't interactive.

Pros: enforces good audit practices, aligned to IIA standards, provides free licensee access to business users, frequent updates and improvements

Cons: clunky to use, auditors find it awkward to document and keep the files current, easier to work offline and move WP later, the front page/dashboards are not intuitive or helpful

Pros: The structure is clear and easy to follow, and it includes all the necessary sections required for the audit process and documentation.

Cons: Regarding the hyperlinking function in Docs, the current process requires manually navigating to each document, copying the link, and pasting it into the relevant section. It would be beneficial to have a feature that allows users to select specific sections or uploaded documents—either individually or in bulk—for hyperlinking, to streamline the workflow.

Pros: What I liked most about TeamMate+ Audit was its user-friendly interface and how it streamlined the audit workflow. The ability to centralize documentation, track audit findings, and automate follow-ups significantly improved our efficiency and collaboration. Its real-time dashboards and reporting tools also made it easier to monitor progress and communicate with stakeholders.

Cons: While TeamMate+ Audit is a powerful tool, what I liked least was the occasional complexity in setting up custom reports or workflows. Some features required additional training or support to fully utilize, which could slow down onboarding for new users. However, once familiar with the system, the overall functionality was very beneficial.

Pros: Teammate+ is user friendly and easy to use, has very useful functionality for audit project management. I love the email notifications for workpaper reviews. Customer support is super helpful whenever I reach out to them for an issue. It's great for audit process management. Teammate is a really good value for our organization and ensuring our company is in compliance with industry standards and also internal standards.

Cons: The TeamInsights reports could be improved and I would suggest more customization of reports. There is a learning curve for some of the new users on our team.

Pros: TeamMate+ Audit streamlines process management and task automation with customizable workflows. Its compliance tracking and detailed email notifications add great value for audit efficiency.

Cons: The platform has a steep learning curve, and initial configuration can be time-consuming. Customer support is responsive but sometimes slow for complex issues.

Pros: The best thing in teammate+ is that, you can configure most of the things as per your business needs and the most critical part in Audit which i like the most in teammate is Reporting

Cons: Sending Document requests to only one business contact

Pros: - Being able to have multiple windows of TM+ open at one time. - Tying of the audit plan to the risk assessment. - Projects currently accessed automatically appear at the top of the project list. - Customization of the Taxonomy - Creation of Word Templates using the Audit Report feature

Cons: - The inability to "hide" changes to the global hierarchy so they do not appear in future risk assessments. We refresh our risk assessment annually which includes the adding or removing of auditable units. - The lack of reports automatically available. Those that are available are subpar. - The user guide is significantly lacking with regards to rolling the risk assessment and moving incomplete audit projects forward. - No good place to insert procedure guidance - if link to the procedure, then the guidance requires sign-off each time. We are currently maintaining the guidance outside of TM+ which is not ideal. - When you deactivate a user - the user disappears from the access screen rather than remaining with the status stated as deactivated. - Coaching notes lack formatting capabilities.

Pros: Ability to notify auditee about overdue issue.

Cons: You can not edit risk assessment once you have submit.

Pros: Easy to use and designed to streamline audit processes, improve collaboration, and enhance reporting.

Cons: Our auditees are unable to access or view the reports when received via email. New users may find it complex, requiring training to fully utilize its features.

Pros: We moved from an Excel based AMS to TeamMate - liked the structure, data recording and consistent application of our procedures across all audit teams globally. It is also good to see the developments and improvements to the software over the last 5 years.

Cons: Audit Reporting Feature - 5 years later since Go-Live we still do not use this feature as alot of rework is required. Especially with Tables, Formatting, Alignment.

Pros: Easy to use and the administration part is not complicated.

Cons: The alignment when using Arabic language. The comments that are added when changing the status of observations appear all in one line.

Pros: The GUI is modern and friendly. Most of the times it is fun to work with TM+, especially as champion user.

Cons: - I cannot understand, why there is no clear indication of an overdue Managment Action Plan for reporting. You have to work around due date and revised due date to get that info. - Why is it not possible to import workpaper descriptions? We have to copy & paste each cell...

Pros: Risk assessment documentation, report creating

Cons: Risk library needs regular updates, the app could benefit from creating industry packs to address specific industries

Pros: configuration flexibility and the powerful help module.

Cons: 1- No unique identifier for some critical components like (findings, recommendation ...etc) and limitation of some features. 2- Availing some vital features with extra cost although they are essential and a core functionalities

Pros: Secure and save. Documentation is easier.

Cons: Not very intuitive. Can improve reporting and dashboard.

Pros: The structure is straight forward. The application navigation is easy to follow. The instruction are well laid out

Cons: There is not much flexibility on the application. The functionality on request for information is limiting.

Pros: Using TeamMate in tracking the implementation of audit recommendation.

Cons: Generating a customized audit report. Inability to use Sopell Check features similar to those in MicroSoft Office.

Pros: I like the features of linking between different documents in the same project. Also being able to store exceptions or notes from prior audits into the teammate store, for ease of access and reference.

Cons: The new feature on the side that shows a brief summary of the progress when you open the project is not helpful and very annoying. Often times the linking or opening of workbooks do not work or times out. I've been having a long term issue of the link pasting, pasting links copied from prior. Ending up with 4 links pasted in a document, when I only wanted the most current one.
