Overall it works great with our inn. And I would to would definitely recommend to anyone needing a booking engine for their properties
Pros: I like that I have great support when I need assistance. [sensitive content hidden] is a great rep and has showed me how to figure out everything i need.
Cons: We just signed up with the groups some of it is still a little confusing but I have a great rep that always helps me out. Sometimes when booking.com books a reservation tho we have to make sure it's assigned on our live calendar.

This tool does everything I want and more. I regularly use their reporting features to make data-driven decisions about my positioning and pricing strategy.
Pros: I love that they’re always rolling out new products and features that keep up to date with the trends and newest technologies.
Cons: I wish it were slightly more affordable. After the monthly subscription fees, add on’s and payment processing, it is a significant monthly expense to our small hotel.

Overall, my experience with Cloudbeds has been positive, and I would recommend it. It provides all the necessary tools to manage hotel operations effectively.
Pros: Cloudbeds is very user-friendly and easy to navigate. The system is reliable and provides accurate information, which helps streamline daily operations.
Cons: Support response and resolution times for urgent issues can be slow, leading to frustration. In the hospitality industry, where time is critical, delays can directly impact operations and guest experience. However, I believe there is an opportunity to improve the onboarding experience. Providing more structured or proactive training for new users and managers would help teams maximize the system’s capabilities from the beginning.

I have found the transition to Cloudbeds, and use of the product, easy and excellent. I finally feel like my customers are being managed in a thoughtful way.
Pros: Cloudbeds is an excellent PMS and booking engine for a boutique property like ours. We have felt it's a great product for the cost, with decent customer support and a great help article library.
Cons: I do wish we had a dedicated support agent; it would be nice to get to interact with a representative who has a sense of our property and knows our issue history.

CloudBed has been a positive experience for me. It’s intuitive and makes daily management easy. There were a few small areas where more customization would help, but overall, it’s a reliable and user-friendly system. I’ve enjoyed using it!
Pros: I really liked how easy the CloudBed hotel management software was to use. It’s very user-friendly, and everything felt intuitive from the start!
Cons: What I liked least was that some advanced reports took a little longer to customize than I expected. But overall, the ease of use outweighs that!

It's been a powerful tool for our team to scale from one property to four properties. We have the multi-property functionality and it's been game changer.
Pros: What I liked most about Cloudbeds is how incredibly user-friendly and intuitive the platform is, especially considering how powerful it is under the hood. Everything is connected in a way that actually makes sense operationally — from reservations and channel management to payments and reporting — which removes a lot of the friction that hospitality teams usually deal with across multiple systems.
Cons: Payment processing in developing countries still requires third party integrations, we would prefer to use Cloudbeds Payments.

We have been with Cloudbeds for 7 years and plan to continue. They truly want us to succeed and we appreciate that. We love Cloudbeds.
Pros: The software is intuitive and useful. Cloudbeds continue to improve. The customer support has been helpful.
Cons: The software could be faster. There is always more features that could help. I also think reporting could be improved and see that they're working on that.

Excellent platform! Great UI, support, booking, and guest connect. Recommend for business growth et
Pros: Overall, I find Cloudbeds to be an excellent tool. The user interface is highly appealing and very user-friendly. I also appreciate that customer support is always available, and it's easy to find answers to questions. The booking management is great, and I particularly like the "Whistle for CB" feature, which keeps me and my guests connected at all times. Lastly, the variety of channels offered through the channel connection is a major benefit.
Cons: One key area for improvement I'd love to see is the reporting functionality. I need to be able to run reports with a more itemized and detailed view to better manage our operations.

Cloudbeds was an impressive and amazing system at the beginning when we signed up 5+ years ago. However, since their need to constantly implement changes is rampant, and they do not do a good job testing their programming changes before implementation to see how it affects everything else, it has now become a constant game/battle using the system. Everyday we see a new programming change, something doesn't work right or like it used to, and we have to waste valuable time back and forth to try and get it fixed or to find out we are just "stuck" with a change on something that worked fine for past 5+ years. They make these changes seemingly willy nilly without any explanation unless we press for answers. I say stay away from this system until they work out all the bugs and look for other less expensive, comparable user friendly options instead.
Pros: Professional look for the business and when it works it does the job well for us. Has some great features when it is working correctly.
Cons: All the constant changes is making it less user friendly and more complicated. Changes are making it very glitchy and troublesome to use for Admin and Staff. Very frustrating to deal with being a 5+ year customer. Unsure if it has been worth all the hassle and headaches. With automatic price increases over the years, now we are paying too much money monthly for something that frustrates my staff and myself daily. Now has unnecessarily overly complex reports and we are unsure of the accuracy of some of the numbers we are getting from the reports. Also, you have to pay extra for customer support via phone. So customer support is mediocre at best and clunky and time consuming having to go through emails back and forth considering the amount of glitches we've encountered with all the changes they have been making.

Difficult to get payouts. They hold the money for over a week. Unlike Sqare or Stripe (even though they use Stripe)…which deposits daily….CloudBEDS holds your funds.
Pros: It integrates all OTA’s and direct bookings under one roof…but not that well because they continuously have outages.
Cons: The reporting system has may flaws and some reports are completely unable to be read by accountants because they are completely wrong. Their reports are unable to accurately show commission payments…citing 890% commission rather than the actual percentage that is being take …making entire categories unusable .

Cloudbeds is hands-down the worst customer service on the planet. They’re smooth, attentive, and borderline over-eager during setup, but the second they’ve got your money, you might as well be shouting into a void. You will NEVER speak to a human being again. Every issue gets funneled into endless tickets, bots, and dead-end emails. If you actually need support to run your business, look elsewhere, Cloudbeds disappears the moment you need them most. worst of all though, they lost 22 THOUSAND dollars of my deposits over one summer. They paid it back, but it took ME doing the leg work to prove they were not depositing my money. Money I was supposed to get in July, I got in October. Steer clear. And yes, I have receipts for all of this.
Pros: The customer service in the beginning. Turns to total crap after they get your money. They do NOT care about helping you AT ALL.
Cons: You will never speak to a human again after they get you set up. Never in my life have I felt more duped. I have had then for 3 years and hate it.

I believe one of the biggest things lacking today in business is relationship and loyalty. Overall my experience with Cloudbeds has certainly been more positive but not without challenges and problems. Recently, it appears as though Cloudbeds is taking steps to focus more on relationship and supporting their partners. I am grateful for my relationship with Cloudbeds.
Pros: I have been with Cloudbeds since their origin. I am grateful for the way they have supported my business/ministry. During Covid, Cloudbeds showed up in a big way, and gave me grace in regards too the financial burden during a very difficult season. This selfless act showed me their commitment as a partner. What I am most impressed with is their continued innovation, and the consistency of the platform.
Cons: The growth opportunity is in regards to customer service. I was recently assigned a new account manager which I am very grateful for. The turnover has been exhausting and worrisome. Relationships matter! No hospitality partners, no Cloudbeds. When I have immediate needs, there is not enough support.

Basic functionality ok, but the rest......sucks. Every extra thing you want is an extra fee or even better an external party providing it with another fee....
Pros: The onboarding is ok and in the beginning it looks realy nice. Until you start using it....Basic functionality is ok.
Cons: The customer support sounds really friendly but does absolutely nothing. As soon as a thing is more than a basic problem they do not know how to handle it, create a ticket and that ticket gets succed into a black hole of non existent technical support. Release introduce new problems that never get solved. Bugs in the software are marked as a wish and published on their online community where people can share their wishes for changes. I have never seen any of those request being picked up and translated into an update.

Pros: Assez ludique

We tried to evaluate Cloudbeds three times. We were interested because it's feature rich. However, each time we were met with a sales person that was so awful that we were unable to sign up. Basically, they use dirty sales tactics, telling us we had to sign up that day or else the price would go up by 30%.
Pros: We got a chance to evaluate Cloudbeds and it looked like it was feature rich.
Cons: Unfortunately we got nowhere with Cloudbeds due to their awful sales team. They are rude and condescending. Since sales is very much the face of the company we decided to go elsewhere. I don't recommend doing business with this company.

It’s a great program that’s simple and effective.
Pros: It’s simple to use. It’s so user friendly.
Cons: No way to sort individual dates no easy way to fine specific data for DAI.
Kari G. · Front desk · Hospitality · March 27, 2025
Sales rep are not explicit liars, but are useless to ask questions. Onboarders are the only ones that know the product but your not allowed to talk to them after onboarding. Technical support is trash. Reports are useless. Company is junk.
Pros: Cleaner ui to read. Nothing else positive to say.
Cons: Garbage ui experience. Not setup to support basic steps of service for any hotel business. The worst reporting system I have every worked with. Over 50 reports that most cannot date range, give accurate information, and they display as double ledger instead of line items making it infuriating even for accountants. Technical support is non existent. Worked with about a dozen and only of them could actually help with issues. Won’t get a timely response, have to pay extra to get someone on the phone. I am in the process of transferring to a different company. These guys are absolute garbage.

1/20 I’d rate them lower if it was possible
Pros: I didn’t like Cloudbeds service at all They lied on several occasions to get my business and after I asked to cancel my first week in (when they doubled the price I agreed to) they refused to refund me
Cons: Terrible service. [sensitive content hidden] refused to honour my requests
Reece M. · Manager · Real Estate · February 28, 2025
Frustrating, I was under the impression that the software was smarter. A simple report will force you to do a bunch of manual calculations. Taxes aren't included in payout breakdowns, not sure how that was decided.
Pros: It serves as an all in one PMS, channel manager, and communications hub. Support is available all the time despite not always being the most helpful. Nice calendar and dashboard.
Cons: The software can be painfully unintuitive. Reporting is oddly very lacking. Hostaway had much better reporting, which to me is a surprise. Each reservation coming from an OTA has pending balances (we are on Channel Connect) which isn't good for our book keeping. Airbnb which is the same for everyone doesn't get balanced out automatically, you have to do this manually. You also have to manually rectify cancellations otherwise they will show as paid. Google Hotel ads isn't working, be wary about this on your sales call because this was a big reason we joined, but so far we have no idea how this works.

A pure pleasure, start to finish. If you hae a small hotel this platform is for you.
Pros: It is easy to use on the desktop or mobile.... and the Service is amazing.. Always available. Aways helpful and patient... Always knowledgable... It is this life blood of our small hotel
Cons: nothing really... it meets all our needs and then some!

Championing sustainability in the industry. Cloudbeds gives the most comprehensive insight into the structure and functioning of this industry.
Pros: There is a sense of leadership and responsibility found in Cloudbeds. It has for a long time served as an umbrella in my hospitality management journey. Chiefly, Cloudbeds optimize business performance through its daily assistance in operations. It is also easy to deal with customer complaints and inquiries.
Cons: I had issues with bookings. It was slow to load new entries which affected our schedule. The issue was attended by the support team.
Henrico E. · Director · Hospitality · May 10, 2024
Pros: No tengo elección, no encuentro ventaja alguna
Juan Carlos C. · Gerente · Hospitality · March 19, 2024
Looking for a new program ! I use to love the program but they have cut back on help I think and now you cant get help very easy . You have to wait forever. Not what it use to be!
Pros: Customer service was great when I signed up and it was great for about a year.
Cons: You can't get help. When you do the live chats they just keep taking you in circles. Sending you links to go to . I cant even get into my cloudbeds now and am just waiting on someone to respond through a email . Such a panic feeling and I have customers waiting to book and can't get in the system to book or see whats available .
