Overall, my experience with Fullbay has been very positive. It has made our shop more organized, faster, and more consistent. Tracking jobs, updating customers, and managing parts has become way easier. Even though there’s a small learning curve, the improvements in efficiency and accuracy make it worth it. It’s a solid system that helps our whole team work smoother.
Pros: What I like most about Fullbay is how much easier it makes keeping track of everything in the shop. Work orders, parts, customer notes, and updates are all in one place, so nothing gets lost or forgotten. It keeps our workflow organized, cuts down on back-and-forth, and helps everyone stay on the same page. It really streamlines the day for both the office and the technicians.
Cons: Some features take a little time to get used to, especially for someone logging in for the first time. A few tools could be more intuitive, and certain steps feel like they take an extra click or two. Once you learn it, it works great—but the system could definitely be a bit more beginner-friendly.

Overall, Fullbay has been a game changer for our operation. It keeps everyone on the same page — from technicians to service managers — and helps us provide faster, more transparent service to our customers. It’s a great value for the money and continues to improve with every update.
Pros: Fullbay has made managing our shop so much easier. The scheduling and maintenance management tools keep everything organized, and the ability to track repairs and parts in real time saves a ton of time. The user interface is clean and easy to navigate, even for new users. I also appreciate how secure and reliable the platform is — we’ve never had issues with downtime or data loss.
Cons: The only minor downside is that it can take a little time for new team members to learn all the features, but once they do, it’s smooth sailing. A few reports could use more customization options, but overall, it’s not a major issue.

I used fullbay at a previous employer and when I started at my current job work orders were being written by hand. I quickly went to the [sensitive content hidden] and explained I can help improve tracking, maintenance records, cost and tech efficiency. This is exactly what it has done and I couldn’t imagine ever going back now, I have the entire fleet managed in the palm of my hand anywhere I am the time.
Pros: I use this as an internal system for tracking and maintaining records on our fleet of over a hundred tucks. It’s so easy to log in and check records to see what needs to be scheduled in soon. Our techs use their phones to log in and see what jobs are assigned to them and get to work. It’s overall been a great value and pretty easy to learn even though we don’t use it to the full potential.
Cons: I have only had one issue in over 5 years of using fullbay and it’s still not resolved, its to do with how it reports and on that note a printer friendly report would be nice and I’m sure their is some just not the report I use. Displays beautiful on screen but does not print out looking the same at all

Pros: Fullbay is very easy to get started using and the initial training gives the users confidence to jump strait into using the system.
Cons: After becoming familiar with the system the weekly continuing education offers layers to the useability that would be helpful in the initial training.
Matthew T. · General Manager · Transportation/Trucking/Railroad · October 31, 2025
Overall I believe Fullbay is a good system for shop management. There are slight programming oversights like the previously mentioned timecard kickout, but other than that it works very smoothly.
Pros: Tech scheduling and Service order authorization process are easy and fluid. Tech reassignment is intuitive and service order creation is fast and easy.
Cons: Timecard adjusting and deleting lines. When deleting lines on timecards the system kicks you back to the start screen and reselects all users instead of just leaving you on the user you're adjusting.

It has been a thorough process. We use the help line alot and it is very handy to have. The on boarding process was as easy as it could be and i really enjoyed being able to have a one on one expreience while traning.
Pros: My team really enjoys the inventory management system as well as the individual action items. It helps us to keep us organized
Cons: It was a bit difficult to get set up and intergrated with our employees just because of it being so new to our company. We attened the diesel connect conference this past May and that did help to get us more involved.
Taylor W. · Owner · Automotive · October 31, 2025
Overall I made the right choice selecting Fullbay as my software, the customer service, the training and the initial setup was seamless.
Pros: Was very easy to integrate all of our needs into this program to make it work for us how we needed it to work.
Cons: Adding pictures to work orders as well as profiles is a little clunky and hard to navigate
Andrew L. · Chief Operating Officer · Automotive · April 24, 2025
i liked it for me it was solid and i could understand the different tech put into the software
Pros: Multi Truck repair software- good for managing truck repairs or parts repair when it comes to heavy duty truck repairs. On The Spot Inventory Management, detailed reports of what's in the store front Excellent Remote Management, definitely makes it versatile for on the road repairs from roadside to the shop to even homebase operations Customer Database access their stats on ETA of a repair on their vehicle.
Cons: Complex learning curve, for first time user auto techs in the industry. High Cost, not ideally cost friendly for those smaller scale business of truck repair

This is a fully honest review, I will also explain my short comings also. I signed up for FullBay, got started, went through integrations, which was really awesome and everyone was super helpful, I had some promos on my trial subscription, which they tell you about and let you know you need to cancel them before the trial is up. the thing they neglect to tell you is when your trail is up unless you ask them, and they do not send out any reminders either. I went past my date and got a charge for well over $600, I am a single person managed small business and do not have that type of capital to throw away for a program that I don't use. I emailed immediately and tried to resolve the issue, they were able to cancel the subscription, but denied any refund, even though I hadn't used the service. I like their system, and I like how it works for the most part. But I will not be recommending this to anyone due to their inability to understand and work with people due to their own company policy.
Pros: Great product and works well for the most part
Cons: the ability for them to help you out. they are stuck by company policies and do not bend or even attempt to help their customers.
Joshua H. · Owner and Technician · Automotive · February 12, 2025
Pros: Everything was available, including parts and VIN look up
Cons: It is not equipped for fleet. It is very Customer/shop based
Alyssa C. · Fleet Administrator · Construction · December 11, 2024
Pros: This software benefits from the fact it's cloud-based. That means it can integrate with tablets or cheaper Chromebooks. It's honestly really easy to use, but it's a little slower than an option locally installed. Multi-tiered pricing is critical and works perfectly here. You can also bulk upload inventory (up to 15,000 lines at a time)
Cons: It's slower than locally-installed options (at least as far as initial setup and integration). Honestly I think having it cloud-based outweighs the lag, but that's just me.

Friendly, helpful staff.
Pros: Very nice program, good support, relevant information and topics.
Cons: Wiring diagrams in Motor not comprehensive enough.
Bryan S. · General Manager · Consumer Services · June 9, 2022
Pros: I like that is is cloud based and can be brought up on any computer, tablet or phone. It is user friendly and easy for our techs to pick up and understand.
Cons: From time to time we will find minor bugs but nothing that we find to annoying.
Austin W. · Owner · Transportation/Trucking/Railroad · June 9, 2022
It was very helpful in getting out Invoices thru email to customers directly. My customers really appreciated this feature too.
Pros: I liked how the software tracks non inventory parts. Applying them directly to Invoices. If anything is returned that is all trackable. You are able to see that the part was sent back and credited. Very helpful with keeping track of Cores or any other returned parts.
Cons: I had a hard time with the Inventory portion of this program. I can see where it would work great it just didn't for how large our Inventory is.
shelley g. · Office Manager · Automotive · May 26, 2022
Pros: when everything is working it is fine but it seems to freeze up often
Cons: system changes to often on different ways to do things
mike e. · SVC WIGHTER · Automotive · April 13, 2022
Pros: I like the fact that this software is simple to use. Easy setup and great support.
Cons: I really don't have many cons to mention other then I do wish there was more parts ordering software like a partstech.com or fleetpride ordering internally in the program. But most shops in this industry are still doing phone call method compared to online ordering.
Ryan M. · Executive Administrator · Automotive · January 18, 2022
Pros: Easy to use- they have worked with us on programming that we need
Cons: The accounting side integrates with Quickbooks but exports only and isn't real time. This causes some issues that we have had to work around.
Melanie T. · Office Manager · Transportation/Trucking/Railroad · August 16, 2021
The Fullbay software covers a lot of the aspects of maintenance. You can track labor times to make sure your technicians are working efficiently. You can track maintenance for any piece of equipment. You can also track and maintain parts and parts inventory. On the administration side of things you can pull any reports you need to keep records of what a piece of equipment is costing you or saving you on the bottom line.
Pros: This software is setup and optimized to get you up and running, when it comes to maintaining your personal fleet or an outside customers equipment. It covers every aspect rather its tracking PM/Service schedules, parts, and/or labor times. This is the one and done piece of software that will be all you need to run a shop.
Cons: The only cons that I have is that I didn't have this software sooner. It really saves time and money!
Shane B. · Maintenance Manager · Transportation/Trucking/Railroad · May 14, 2021
Once everything was loaded and we went thru several of your Webinars (thank you very much for having them), We utilize more and more everyday.
Pros: Invoicing! We depend on Fullbay every day, Rain or Shine! And we have had plenty of shine with the product. We now use it for the majority of our software needs! All updates are easy to understand as well!
Cons: The time it took me to find and learn certain materials! AND "we" are still learning new stuff everyday!
Ronna S. · Owner · Transportation/Trucking/Railroad · May 13, 2021
Pros: The software was easy to use and made billing easier.
Cons: I don not have anything to recommend changing.
Hunter F. · Owner · Automotive · May 13, 2021
support is great, software seems first class
Pros: Designed for truck repair shops, good with accounts receivables , inventory, and scheduling
Cons: would like to track additional work recommended by technicians in a report
Jeffrey B. · owner · Automotive · May 11, 2021
Time management, easy to review history, easy to add parts to each invoice, and able to track PM’s!
Pros: Easy to use, keeps customer equipment organized and allows history search for previous work done.
Cons: Haven’t found anything I dislike yet. Everything flows perfectly for what I use it for.
Mitch C. · Owner · Automotive · May 10, 2021
We have experienced many benefits with using Fullbay. We have been able to capture inventory and accurately show usage. Keeping track of core returns is much easier. Knowing the exact amount owed on open invoices is clearly displayed. Being able to invoice our customers timely and know at what point of the repair process a unit is at without leaving the office is a huge benefit.
Pros: The system has allow our company to cut down on the timeframe of invoicing to our customers. It has also allowed us to be more efficient when ordering parts, by keeping the technicians working in their bays and not at the parts counter.
Cons: I only wish for a little more editing options. We have had one issue with a counter sale that somehow did not get moved to Quickbooks, and payment was received. It left a balance on Quickbooks even though it showed to be exported, it was not.
Ken D. · Manager · Transportation/Trucking/Railroad · May 10, 2021
I enjoy using Fullbay. The training team was great, and if I ever need support, they are always there, and very helpful.
Pros: I like that the techs can log into a job, and hours can be tracked. Also, having the techs entering their comments is a great feature.
Cons: I would like to see invoiced hours show on printed invoices for customers. This has been one complaint we have received since using Fullbay.
