The people that work for the company are ok the software when working is ok. But if you have an actual issue with anything you're going to be on your own
Pros: When the software isn't frozen it works ok. The labor guides where easy access even though they where often times wrong
Cons: Billing department is impossible to get a hold of. I wanted to ask about some issues I was seeing on statements and have been on hold for 2 hours. I spent 1.5 hours on hold Monday before I had to give up. 2 hours the next day. I've left a message with the billing department manager several times now and still have not received a response. At this point I want to cancel my services and cant because no one apparently has the ability to do anything to your account. Well unless you want to buy more services. They are all over taking your money but do nothing if you have a billing issue apparently.

Time is money in our consulting firm. I use it to operate our transport logistics. It is not very expensive yet the interface seems a little bit outdated.
Pros: The mobile access amenities enable me to monitor the position of our company fleet vehicles when I am out on an appointment with clients so that no appointment is missed.
Cons: This learning curve is very steep to my administrative department and sometimes we have bugs and problems when attempting to integrate it with our accounting software.

It’s easy to install and get running within and hour which was awesome. The rep shows up in person and if I need to call I can even after hours.
Pros: This is the best value for the money I’ve spent. There isn’t anything out there at beats the price. A management system, digital inspection, texting, repair information and a customer retention management tool for less than $500 per month I just can’t beat it and neither can anyone else. Super easy to navigate. It’s secure, I use the dvi feature for mobile access and it works.
Cons: It’s kind of stuck on my computer. I use mobile manager to write new ROs in the parking lot but there are times I wish I could just pop open my phone and use it online and not be tied to a computer.

Overall we highly recommend Mitchell for their catalog of repair procedures and user interface. Searching by VIN is very useful when you’re in the middle of a job and need a key piece of information.
Pros: Our shop uses both the light and heavy duty applications daily. They’re fantastic resources for repair breakdowns and schematics. Easy to follow directions ensure that even younger techs can perform complicated repairs.
Cons: The only issues we have faced are the lack of support for some less than familiar truck makes and models, and not every brand lists standard repair times for accurate repair quoting.

Amazing experience so far, just recently switched so there is still plenty of features I am getting used to but I have my rep if I have any difficulties!
Pros: Mitchell1 has been a great addition to my shop. Switching to this system saved me money and it has so many amazing features. Your rep comes to you to teach you everything you need to know, you can keep an eye on all your repairs at the shop, you can use their ProDemand on the phone! It has improved our team efficiency at the shop
Cons: There isn't much to criticize here about M1. Maybe if I had to say something, I wish the design on the software itself was a bit better.

My experience was good, not bad. Things go well with no hardships and of-course the system could be enhanced a little, especially for accelerating orders completions. Learning curve is moderate since workshops need several days of training for using reports properly. Mobile Access is basic, which is satisfying on my side. Updates need to well-applied because some of them might cause regressions.

Pros: The standout features of Mitchell 1’s Manager SE shop management software include its ease of use and comprehensive functionality for auto repair shops. I found it secure and easy to access the information and repair status I needed in a timely manner. I never had any bugs or issues while using the system and found the customization additions came in handy. My shop found value for the money as it was more cost effective than other solutions. A mobile access app would be a nice addition.
Cons: Limited mobile access features. An app would make the system more versatile for technicians and shop owners to be able to access info on the phone vs lugging a laptop around.

Over all experience of this product is very versatile and dependable. Amazing customer service and would recommend to anyone.
Pros: Very user friendly easy to train new people on. If ever needed we can call support and they are on it and willing to remote in or walk us thru different obstacles if needed.
Cons: The only thing i would like to see is the ability to link to a cash register to make accountability easier when handling cash or checks if more than one person is cashing out customer

It was an amazing opportunity, but needs some work to make it completely user friendly on the inventory management.
Pros: I loved the ease of set up and customer service was amazing! Installed and operating in less than an hour.
Cons: Lack of inventory management. I was very unhappy with the lack of keeping accurate counts. Needs alot of work.

It is great and I am still using their software now at AAR Auto Repair in Trenton New Jersey. It is a complete end to end service.
Pros: I loved using M1 because of How well it is able to assist me with keeping track and organizing my customers.
Cons: It took a little bit longer for me fully understand how to use everything that this software can really handle.

Great for getting my repair shop started. Calander and scheduler where not very useful so I had other things set up for that. Updates really didn't have much in them.
Pros: The price is very reasonable for what you get. Very popular software and has everything you need to get started
Cons: Server based prevents shop owners from using off site. I own a small repair shop and have customers call me on my personal cell. I need to be able to use my software when I am out of the shop.

Pros: This is a great company I like using them and I like the things that they offered the products is great. It’s great service and I will recommend them to anybody.
Cons: There’s not a few there’s not a lot of things that I don’t like. I wish the cost was a little bit better to help the consumer. The product is great everything else

Overall once I figured it out I was fine. I’m not the best technologically but this was simple.
Pros: Very deep and good database of vehicles, great to track work tickets and previous work.
Cons: Had some trouble dealing with the support offered. Had to go to Internet forums for help.

Not bad. It did its job. Customer service always ready to help. However. Failure to change with the times has timeslotted it for the older gen. No mobile access, very excel spreadsheet layout and no plans to change. I switched to auto leap just so i could remotely work and observe from home and be able to order parts and fix issues any time. No complaint really as Mitchell did fit a need for me but using 3rd party fill ins to do inspections, capture Vins. Was laborious.
Pros: When i started out 10 years ago it was fine. Very few changes
Cons: It never changed. Outside of ancillary things. But overall never a mobile platform

Love all the features. Has email and text options which are great for reminding customers of appointments and service records.
Pros: Love that is has labor hours and part lookups to correctly price the job. Saves lots of customers information. Easy to use.
Cons: Costly program that in end needs to be put onto the customer. Small businesses need all the help they can get.
