My overall experience with SAP Ariba is a positive one. I had some teething issues getting set up and logged in, but now that has been resolved, it is very easy and intuitive to use. It is easy to navigate through tasks and provides a document trial for financial records.
Pros: SAP Ariba has very good customer support who respond quickly via email with informed answers on how to fix any errors you are experiencing. They provide screenshots to assist. I use it often for PO and invoice generation, and SAP Ariba allows you to view the progress of submitted invoices and track when payments are expected. Matching POs with invoices speeds up the payment process and prevents any invoices getting rejected. Our external auditors find the system useful for providing a time-stamped audit trail. You have the option for a buyer or supplier login. The dashboard clearly shows how invoices are moving along and if any require attention.
Cons: SAP Ariba can be a little fiddly to use at first, especially if it requires multiple teams input. You need to ensure the identification number and description match, that being said customer service are on hand to support.

Nobody buys SAP Ariba because it's fun or easy to use. You buy it because you need heavy-duty, enterprise-grade control. In that regard, it absolutely delivers. It does exactly what it’s supposed to do for contract management, compliance, and large-scale invoicing. But as a daily user, the experience can be frustrating. It’s clunky, the learning curve is steep, and it completely lacks the agility of modern SaaS tools. Ultimately, it’s a necessary platform if you operate at scale and need an iron-clad system of record, but you have to accept that you're trading user experience for pure horsepower. Be prepared to invest in training your team on how to actually use it.

Pros: Honestly, when it comes to compliance, tracking, and end-of-year audits, Ariba is a lifesaver. You can track exactly who approved what, and when. Invoicing: once you finally get the approval workflows and routing configured correctly, the procure-to-pay cycle runs really well. It definitely cuts down on manual data entry mistakes. It handles massive volumes of vendor data and contracts without breaking a sweat. It’s built for big, complex organizations, and it shows.
Cons: It feels like you're using software from 15 years ago. Getting new hires up to speed takes way longer than it should because absolutely nothing is intuitive out of the box.

Amazing product with amazing features like Ariba Risk, Ariba sourcing suite etc. Most powerful is SAP Business Network: This is the platform’s "crown jewel." It connects you to over 5 million suppliers globally, making supplier discovery and onboarding significantly faster than manual processes.
Pros: I have worked on Ariba and found it really well with Industry requirement. Ariba has fantastic features like SBN, Ariba Risk, Ariba Sourcing suite, all features make it perfect one shop for all Supplier relationship and Contract Management
Cons: It is great product by SAP. I would say one of the best when it comes to utility and purpose. Although, it is sometime difficult to navigate and all products dont have similar UI but functionality trumps it.

Having used SAP Ariba for several years now, I can say that I am much more comfortable with it now than I was when my company first made the switch. Like anything else, with a little bit of practice, it becomes second nature.
Pros: My company uses SAP Ariba as the primary purchasing system for goods and services. I personally use the system for both processing spot buys as well as guided buying. I like guided buying the most about SAP Ariba because it allows me to purchase goods all at a predetermined rate using my company's corporate discount.
Cons: At first, the SAP Ariba system was somewhat difficult to navigate. It is such a large system that occasionally I would find myself lost and unsure how to proceed. With more use came more familiarity with the system however.

Overall was good. The work flow was clear and in general everything was clear and easy to find. Also it was nice to see what other people in my team were in charged of approving things.
Pros: I liked that I could find products by company or by name or by category. that was easy to decide which product to find.
Cons: I didn't like that not all products are listed in the inventory. Sometimes I couldn't find the desired product.

During training, real-time project scenarios and practical exercises made the concepts easier to understand.
Cons: The user interface can feel overwhelming for beginners, and the initial setup has a learning curve. Some navigation paths could be more intuitive, but once familiar, the system is very powerful.

My overall experience is great so far and I have no complaints. All the information available is accurate and reliable.
Pros: It works better with the Edge browser. Everything is organized, from order to delivery and invoice. It is accessible from anywhere in the world if you have internet.
Cons: The response is sometimes a little slow. This could be due to overload on the system I guess. This is my only issue so far.

I would not use this program if I was not forced to use it by my customers. IT is not intuitive and it is difficult to work with.
Pros: I like the dashboard page of Ariba. IT's easy to add and remove widgets.
Cons: I can never find what I need in Ariba. It also never works on the first attempt. You constantly have to reenter your info. I upload invoices all the time and it often takes 4-5 tries to get them into the system.

I've had a good experience with them, and it's very user-friendly.
Pros: It's simple to use and quite easy to understand.
Cons: I find the search engine slow when searching for a PO. I would prefer it to display results as soon as I start typing.

My overall experience with SAP ARIBA is good and positive.
Pros: SAP ARIBA enables your business to discover thousands of trustworthy and reliable suppliers for procurement. By providing you greater visibility on spending, it helps to optimize working capital. It expedites the procurement cycle and, reduces manual work & human errors.

We replaced most of our research and development equipment 1 year ago, because we need to be constantly updated to be a successful company. SAP Ariba was the tool we chose to manage the renovation projects to equip the labs in our departments with computers, graphics cards, and virtual reality equipment, helping us to identify suppliers and hardware manufacturers, request quotes, and evaluate the best options according to the standards set by our experts. It is a well-structured platform with features that facilitate the entire purchasing process.
Pros: The interface is well designed and although it can be a bit complex and intimidating at first, it is a nice tool that allows for orderly and agile work. It helped us to manage all the necessary renovations to get up to date with the technology, allowing us to search for suppliers to compare specifications and prices. It helped us to ask for quotes and then choose based on concrete data. It allowed us to purchase software and negotiate licenses for our technicians and engineers.
Cons: Implementation and maintenance costs are high, in addition to customization and configuration costs.

sehr mühsam, der Support muss unbedingt was ändern--> man bekommt immer antworten die mit dem eigentliche Problem nichts zu tun haben. Auch die Hilfeseiten bieten eigentlich so gut wie nie einen brauchbaren Lösungsansatz. richtige Techniker gibt es im Support anscheinend nicht

Cons: sehr langsam, seiten müssen immer wieder aktualisiert werden, man kann keine mehreren Tabs aufmachen, Der SUPPORT ist eine Frechheit(ich habe noch nie so schlechten Support erhalten)
