Google Chat

Pros: I love the ability to instantly chat with my colleagues within my Gmail. You can create group chats as well.

Cons: Gmail users are sent an email and a Google Chat when there is tagged activity in Google Drive. The double notification can be a little annoying but that’s my only con!

Pros: Super easy to use! Everything feels straightforward and smooth. The Google Drive and GCal integration works really well, and I love how quick it is to start up huddles or Google Meets whenever I need.

Cons: I just wish you could set status messages to give more insight to "online" or busy." This alleviates the need for me to add an additional OOO message.

Pros: like Google Chat because it makes communication quick and simple. I can send messages, share files, and work with others in group chats It also connects with other Google tools which makes collaborating on projects easier

Cons: One thing I dislike about Google Chat is that it can send too many notifications and sometimes important messages are hard to find in busy group chats

Pros: Google chat is a basic chatting system easier to use that other platforms and gives value for money.

Cons: I would say that Google chat could use some updates in features and curb appeal as it seems a little dated.

Pros: Easy to use and access through google. Google is one of the most used sites today so it easy to contact others that have Google accounts.

Cons: Other networks does not have access so you have to make sure other are Google users so you can communicate.

Pros: It's very simple for the end user. It's an easy-to-use program. The interface is especially user-friendly. I recommend it.

Cons: I don't think it has any negative aspects. It's very easy and simple to use. It's easier than its competitors, in my opinion.

Pros: Great value for money, customer support and features. No bigs or issues and doesn't have a big learning curve.

Cons: No major issues I can think of as of yet, been a very helpful tool and has good user interface and is straightforward.

Pros: It is easy to chat with others as well as hop on a quick video call without there being too much human error (or for people without much computer experience). It's easy to copy and paste photos from snips to share quick info. I would say I like the video feature the best - you just send a video link by pressing a button and then you can video talk immedately on Google Meet.

Cons: The notifications of chat are not enough - most time I do not even know if I received a Google chat notification. I do get emails from it, but with chat, you typically want to know immediately. I prefer Microsoft Teams Chat. I would recommend that Google make the message pop up in a better location or maybe a different noise so I know I received a chat.

Pros: Google chat is incredibly responsive and convenient. It is included in GSuite so relatively affordable compared to slack. The interface on the web is extremely polished and efficient. Learning curve is low, and feature is extensive. There are tons of integration that works with gmail and gcal.

Cons: I think the customer service of Google can be improved. It is hard to reach a human agent and often times tickets for bugs gets bounced to completely different departments. I also think the mobile app can be improved. The images are downsampled in such a fashion that it's barely readable.

Pros: I LOVE GOOGLE CHAT IT TAKES ME THROUGH THE DAY \, I DONT KNOW WHAT I WOULD DO WITH OUT IT!! IT IS VERY EASY TO USE AND STRAIGHT FOWRAD!!

Cons: EVERYTHING IS AMAZING THE ONLY THING I WOULD ENJOY IS THAT IF HAVE TO DELETE A MESSAGE IT SHOULD SAY'DELETED BY AUTHOR' OVERALL ITS AWESOME!!!

Pros: the interface of google chat is quite simple and with no complexity. new chatt pops us while connected and catches your attention. the messaging is instant

Cons: Google chat is used by very few people, making it easy to forget. it is not interesting to use it if you want to hold with many people at the same time. And, if you doant have a google account, you wont be able to use google chat, hence limiting it's sphere of operation

Pros: I like how easy it is to use. It's easy to communicate quickly with others. You can send links, invites, images, gifs and more which is great.

Cons: There is not a thing that I do not like about Google Chat due to its amazing ease of use. I have no complaints.

Pros: Easy to connect to people and chat and / or talk to them. Can add multiple people into one chat. Has option for one on one chat or group.

Cons: Havent see google chat app for apple, have heard issues with notifications. I dont think it has audio or video call feature. Not sure about it though.

Pros: It keeps my conversations, files, and collaborations all in one place, helping our team communicate efficiently and get work done smoothly.

Cons: It can be tricky to add people outside of our organization to spaces and chats. Conversations can get a little cluttered, and the interface sometimes feels less intuitive compared to other messaging apps.

Pros: Quick convenient way to quickly talk to someone without having to send emails or phone a call to them.

Cons: I do not have any cons about Google Chat whatsoever. I think it's a great platform to use to quickly talk to someone.

Pros: I like Google chat because it's an efficient and effective way to communicate with my coworkers. I enjoy the gif and emoji features that it comes with. I also like that I can customize my out-of-office emoji and statement for when I am away. It's very easy to learn how to use the chat system. Google support has been easy to work with when issues have arised.

Cons: The only con that I can come up with, is that you can only upload one document to a chat. So if I'm trying to trouble shoot an issue by sending multiple screenshots via chat, I have to do it one by one instead of attaching all documents.

Pros: Les discussions individuelles privées et les groupes de discussion par thématique et par client. Possibilité de partager des documents.

Cons: L'outil correspond à mes attentes, je l'ai paramétré de manière à ce que son utilisation me convienne, je n'ai pas de points négatifs à relever.

Pros: I work with organisations that make use of the Google Suite of tools, and therefore make use of google chat to work with them for instant messaging. Google Chat works great. It’s simple to use for messaging and video calls, provided a web based interface that’s useful when you’re not using the desktop or Mobile app, and functions flawlessly. It’s free, so value is exceptional. Notifications work well, document sharing works well, and whilst it wouldn’t be my first choice over MS Teams, it doesn’t come with any major issues or reasons not to use it.

Cons: Two things: 1) I dislike the “quote in new thread feature”. I see why others may find it useful, but it’s not for me. 2) in the full interface it feels clumsy when you want to start a new chat with a new person. Just GUI refinement required.

Pros: I love the chatting interface of the application and the messages are fast and the free to use thank you.

Cons: I didn't see any cons of using the Google Chat application its basically a good to use for both technical and non-technical background people for their work thank you.

Pros: Great internal company software to be able to communicate with colleagues, as well as great integrations

Cons: Limitations with customer support as expected with google products, and minimal bugs an issues in the software

Pros: Google Chat offers a wide array of customization options and allocates an extended range of features including; messaging, live chat and audio conferencing.

Cons: I have not had any bad experience when utilizing Google Chat to enhance both internal and external communication in my organization.

Pros: It was a nice feature when you’re actually using a computer. Now it’s a mobile app as well, so it makes the transition easy.

Cons: Sometimes the notifications are delayed, whereas on the laptop it’s almost instant. You have to have the actual app on your mobile devices for it now though.

Pros: I like the functionality of Google chat, its very easy to use and widely used among many. I like the access of it as well.

Cons: There is nothing I can say about Google chat that I truly don't like. I think overall it's a great feature to have.
