Overall, my experience with ShipHero has been positive. It’s a reliable tool for managing inventory and fulfillment, though it takes some time to fully understand and use to its full potential
Pros: I like the real-time inventory tracking and how it helps keep fulfillment organized and efficient. It provides strong visibility into stock and order flow.
Cons: The system can feel complex at times, and the learning curve may slow things down initially for new users.

Shiphero gets more valuable the more your company scales. I appreciate that Shiphero is obviously built by people who actually understand fulfillment and how to streamline workflow, both in the warehouse and front office.
Pros: How operationally thoughtful it is. Pick/pack workflows, inventory controls, and automation rules have made a huge difference in our business. It's user-friendly and up-to-date and allows our clients to manage and update their workflow (POs, orders, returns, etc.) without us having to do it for them.
Cons: Onboarding was a little difficult for our company as it was so different than the previous archaic platform we were using, and included a lot of information at once. However, once properly configured, it's been great for the most part. I will say Shiphero's one drawback is wholesale. We do a ton of wholesale, and Shiphero has included a lot of mandatory steps in their wholesale flow that our company hasn't found helpful, yet can't work-around without adding additional steps, work, and time.

In general, we've had a positive experience with ShipHero, including their support. Having an assigned representative is also very helpful.
Pros: ShipHero is one of the very few feature-rich and intuitive WMS platforms. Inventory management features enable transparent operations for 3PLs and for brands to feel good about their inventory. Of course, there's a human element involved to ensure accurate inventory management, but ShipHero has the features to enable the operators to do a great job.
Cons: Lack of dashboard and reporting can be a bit challenging. All the data in the world is in the database. I'm more than certain ShipHero devs can pull that data and make it dance, as it display qualitative and quantitative performance information for operators to utilize for action.

Best WMS experience we've had by far. The team is attentive, responsive & if there is ever an issue, they act fast to resolve it.
Pros: It's built for direct-to-consumer 3PLs like us, it has robust capabilities & the team at ShipHero really cares.
Cons: The billing module & the reporting capabilities both need improvement but they are aware of this & have assured us these will be improved in the near future,

Overall, ShipHero is a powerful and scalable warehouse management system that has significantly improved our fulfillment accuracy and accountability. The core fulfillment tools are strong and clearly built for high volume operations. However, some foundational workflows like replenishment, putaway, cycle counting automation, and labeling need refinement to match the quality of the rest of the platform. When ShipHero is working well, it is excellent, but these gaps create unnecessary friction that slows teams down.
Pros: ShipHero excels at fulfillment flow, accountability, and operational visibility. Pick and pack is especially strong and has been a major upgrade from our previous system, with intuitive workflows that improve speed, accuracy, and training. The interface is easy to navigate, inventory locations and tote workflows are well thought out, and the platform tracks every action, making it much easier to identify and correct mistakes. Customer support is generally responsive, and we typically receive helpful guidance within a few hours when issues come up.
Cons: Replenishment has been a long standing pain point and has caused real operational slowdowns. It has felt broken for over a year and lacks basic workflow optimizations like a snake method, forcing teams to manually build paths and scroll through unorganized lists. Putaway has similar issues, with no clear main screen guidance showing where items should go, resulting in unnecessary steps and wasted time. Label printing is also frustrating. The default invoice only shows five items and uses roughly half of a 4 x 6 label, creating excess waste. When this was raised, the suggested solution was a paid custom label rather than improving the standard experience, which feels disheartening given the cost of the platform. Android device support is another gap, as we cannot use high quality Android handheld scanners.

We implemented ShipHero for a client and saw a substantial improvement in their fulfillment workflow. The system helped reduce errors, speed up picking and packing It has saved time and improved accuracy overall., and made training new staff much easier. Once configured, it has remained stable and dependable, delivering real value.
Pros: ShipHero streamlined our client's fulfillment workflow. The interface is easy to use, inventory updates are real time, picking and packing tools are accurate and fast, and support is responsive.
Cons: Reporting templates could be more customizable, and there were a few minor sync delays early on. We also found that some advanced reporting features were limited, requiring us to export data to spreadsheets for deeper analysis.

My experience with ShipHero has been pleasant. I don’t really have a negative thing to say about them other than they are maybe a little pricey but only if you make it. I have found that you can get cheaper quotes etc but do your research.
Pros: They are affordable, reliable and just the best they can be.
Cons: I found that some fees were a little pricey for what you are getting but saying that if they are providing what you need them to do then does it really matter!?
