Overall, it does its job and there os value for the money. Custumer support is good. Have not used the invoicing feature
Pros: Used actitime as a free trial. The platform does its job of time tracking and project management reminder and notifications.
Cons: The least item that i liked is the basic features as compared to its comparables, could do improvement.

ActiTime is a solid choice for businesses and teams looking for reliable time tracking and project management tools, Its ease of use, detailed reporting, and mobile app support make it appealing. If you're a freelancer or a small team looking for basic time-tracking features, ActiTime can be a great fit.
Pros: I like actiTime because it’s helps in improving projects management and helps many businesses monitor employee productivity and invoices, actiTime generates insightful reports that help businesses understand how time is being spent across projects and teams.
Cons: ActiTime does offer a free plan, but it’s somewhat limited in terms of features, and the paid plans may be a bit too expensive for smaller teams or freelancers, there’s a bit of a learning curve if you want to dive into the more advanced functionalities e.g,customizing reports.

Domain confidence 100%
Pros: I appreciate the easy access to fill out my timesheet and the intuitive navigation through the options.
Cons: When I started using Acti-TIME, I would save the hours before exiting the timesheet, but then I realized the hours were saved automatically.

It quickly becomes clear who is absent and when, and who is covering for whom. actiTIME is therefore also used in some project resource planning. The paper based vacation request system is eliminated, which also saves time in the HR department.
Pros: The clear overview of vacation and sick days and the intuitive navigation through the system are truly excellent. Virtually no questions remain unanswered. It runs smoothly. While the design isn't groundbreaking, it's still appealing. I also really appreciate the calendar overview for colleagues. This simplifies decision making and scheduling.
Cons: actiTIME is a very good piece of software. I can't think of any improvements or flaws offhand. The user interface is simple and easy for every employee to understand. Only the setup process could be a little quicker and easier.

Very positive. I like the ability to track cummuative work hours on a separate tab to compare with pay statements.
Pros: Clean and clear interface. Common-sense functionality. I like the fact that the application autosaves periodically while it is open.
Cons: Two-factor authentication is a great security feature, but for those clients who are prohibited from bringing their cell phones into their workplaces, it keeps them from accessing actiTIME from their workspaces. Two-factor authentication should be allowed to be turned off temporarily.

Overall, it helps us keeping the time of our teams but can be a little better with the presentation part of it.
Pros: Value for Money, customer support, customization has helped us a lot when using Actitime. Majority of our team uses it.
Cons: The interface is not v user friendly and can be a little better. It is difficult to move around in the window that Actitime presents

Very good, my team and I are using this product for more than one year and we are confident using it.
Pros: UI and interface are neat, the software is well designed and can be used without hassle. Time tracking feature enables us to continuously improves our tasks and charge estimate.
Cons: Mostly in english, require adaptation for some of our users. Also needs a little bit of tuning of workhours when users are in different zones.

Our experience has been great overall. The service is reliable, uptime is good, time entry is quick, staff learn how to use it fast.
Pros: Actitime is easy to onboard new staff, easy to track time, and good value for money. The one occasion we have needed customer service, they have provided it in a timely manner. Project and sub task reporting and customization is great.
Cons: The only con i feel is that we are not in control of our data. If something were to happen to Actitime and we could not access our time data we would lose the ability to bill clients efficiently or at all potentially. I would like the ability to do regular backups to store onsite in a readable form in case of accidental loss, etc.

Easy onboarding and straightforward to set up and maintain. I’ve used this system in multiple companies now and it’s a useful tool to have in place for reporting and accounting purposes.
Pros: It’s a very straightforward system to both set up and use (both as an admin and end user). The licensing model is cheap and accessible. Setting up teams and projects/tasks is easy to do as well as maintain.
Cons: Some of the reports can be tricky to work through. To determine user activity, I have had to export a report and then carry out some basic Excel formulas to calculate the exact metrics needed.

100% positive. I've been using actiTIME for my small business for almost 7 years, and it has met all of my needs during that time.
Pros: It's a clearly designed web-based tool (and app!) that helps me track my and my employees' time and productivity with minimal stress! Because we are a small company with three people, we are able to use the free version, so to say that it's a good value for the money is an understatement.
Cons: Overall, I've been very happy and haven't had any problems! Converting to the new app was a little tricky, but not insurmountable.

This is a good project management tool for us to build with all our projects and manage our hours. Actitime allows for all our projects and multiple tasks to bill time to.
Pros: I like being able to run reports to manage tasks worked on for the purpose of invoicing. With the report function I can see what projects were worked on in a month and know what needs to be invoiced.
Cons: The learning curve for figuring out the report process works and how to run specific reports. It took some time to figure out which report would be most useful.

As I described in the previous section. This has tainted my overall experience with actiTIME in general.
Pros: I like the ease of use, the exports, and the levels I need to accurately capture time management. Adding users is easy as well.
Cons: Setting up reports is not always straight-forward. Additionally, last year I had an extremely frustrating experience with actiTIME support (with [sensitive content hidden] ) where our annual rate was increased without notifying us ([sensitive content hidden] argued the e-mails were sent, no one on our team had received them). This has ruined my overall perception of actiTIME as a company and ensured we are now also looking for alternative options for longer term. I was extremely disappointed in how this was handled and in my resulting lack of faith/trust in the actiTIME team.
Leigh L. · Senior Manager, Implementation · Logistics and Supply Chain · December 22, 2025
Our corporation has been extremely pleased with the entire system, and its simple and straightforward user experience.
Pros: I love that I can customize my weekly timecard to my primary tasks and they repeat every week. I appreciate the simplicity of tracking PTO and Holidays as well. One invoice to cover the entire year's license is extremely convenient for billing. Only a few minutes of training time is needed for each new hire.
Cons: For routine tasks, I wish there was a way to automatically populate time. Example: I spend 1 hour on emails every single day. It would be nice to auto-populate long-term.

Overall, actiTIME has been a reliable and efficient solution for tracking time and managing projects. It helps us make informed decisions about resource allocation and improve communication with our partners.
Pros: actiTIME makes it easy to see how time and effort are distributed between different projects. I like that I can monitor team workloads, analyze how long tasks take, and prepare summaries to share with external partners. It keeps work transparent and organized.
Cons: Adding a quick-approval feature for managers directly in the mobile app would make the workflow even smoother.
Hetakshi D. · Head of Partnerships · Computer Software · November 13, 2025
Our experience has been excellent. actiTIME helps us track performance data accurately, manage client projects more efficiently, and make better strategic decisions. It gives us the kind of clarity every founder needs when managing multiple projects and teams.
Pros: actiTIME gives me complete control and visibility over how time and resources are being used in the company. The reporting tools are the strongest feature, they make it simple to analyze productivity, monitor budgets, and evaluate project profitability without complicated spreadsheets.
Cons: I would love to see more visualization options within reports, such as interactive dashboards that update automatically.
Shah A. · Managing director · Computer Software · November 13, 2025
Overall, I am satisfied with the product
Pros: User friendly interface. Very easy and simple to use and set up.
Cons: The Time Tracking Structure should have an additional level after the Middle grouping level and cater for consulting business. For example, I am unable to do Client > Product > Project > Rates. The personal time-track reminder should also not be sent just once but everyday continuously as long as the time track number of hours has not been met.
Richard L. · Senior Manager · Financial Services · April 2, 2025
Overall it was a good move from MS SharePoint to ActiTime as it accelerating our project closing, reducing errors people make in submitting timesheets and reducing the billing cycle time
Pros: User experience for data entry. Reminders for not completed TS as well we locking of previous week entries
Cons: Not being able to copy the whole workweek e.g. from previous week and not able to copy and paste data e.g. from MS Excel
Peter H. · Managing Director · Computer Software · March 25, 2025
j'avais besoin de savoir combien de temps je passer pour chaque entreprise que je m'occupe
Pros: facile d'utilisation pas cher sait ce rendre indispensable
Cons: ne reste pas en français l'application téléphone est moins pratique à mon gout
Edwige F. · SECRETAIRE COMPTABLE · Accounting · March 25, 2025
This is a great tool for project management. A the team see real time the status of phases and time taken.
Pros: Easy project management, user friendly, great price.
Cons: Took me a bit of time to manage reports and understand the possibility. Got to have a good online help (one on one)
Annie C. · Owner · Architecture & Planning · March 24, 2025
Overall, our company loves ActiTime! It makes life easy to track time on many different customers and projects for our team.
Pros: ActiTime is incredibly user friendly. Upon my first login, I was easily able to set up tasks, view my teams time-tracking, and run reports with ease.
Cons: There isn't really anything that I did not like about ActiTime. The only thing I had minimal amounts of trouble figuring out was adding a license. But the chat feature is amazing with the service team, and someone got back to me same day after that.
Tara D. · Operations Coordinator · Information Technology and Services · March 11, 2025
Pros: Easy to use and great way of recording time spent on different projects
Cons: Be good to be able to list projects in the time track according to project name and not task
Caro S. · Garden designer · Design · August 14, 2023
still using it barely but so far so good
Pros: free to use with 3 users, used to be 5, but still useful in an impoverished banana republic where we'd otherwise use an excel template so it saves time building and designing it yourselfhappens to suit my needs for my tiny projects.
Cons: it's no ocular delight, no dark mode, no big minimalistic icons and text
Sergio S. · COnsultant · Information Services · August 7, 2023
For our time tracked projects that we bill clients actiTIME has saved us quite a bit of time vs managing that by hand as we have multiple people working on a project with one person doing the billing for both. It keeps us from having to collect that information manually and then type in that information on the invoices.
Pros: Offers quite a bit of functionality for free. Time tracking and the ability to carry that information over into invoices are critical features we need to complement the other SaaS products that we use (wave, clickup, etc). Project setup and time-tracking work very well for us and does everything we currently need.
Cons: The reports/invoices are still a little clunky compared to the features offered by Wave and other competitors. As far as I know there is no way to have the invoices remember recurring billing items that are not related to expenses or time-tracking. We would like a fixed monthly billing item on each of our invoices, currently we add those by hand.

good
Pros: time tracking, reports and cost of services
Cons: complexity with some figures to use....
George A. · CEO · Public Relations and Communications · August 3, 2023
Over all experience has been great over the years.
Pros: Actitime makes it easy to add projects and tasks and allows me to track billable and non-billable time spent in each project. This also allows me to improve my time estimation for cost estimating for future projects.
Cons: The software support has been difficult although the software is pretty simple to understand. There is no way to export a database or back-up project information.
