Overall, we have enjoyed a good relationship with OneCause. Customer service has been very good most of the time.
Pros: We're able to customize our web pages and insert our own graphics. Reporting is pretty good which allows for deep analysis.
Cons: We were never able to improve the process to sell tickets with assigned seats for our 8th grade musical.
Dale B. · Development Director · Fund-Raising · March 24, 2026
Pros: I love that we have used it for years, so it houses a lot of our previous information. It makes it easy to switch back back-and-forth to compare.
Cons: I think the overall user experience is a little more complicated than it needs to be. I think there’s ways they could streamline the website.
Destiny T. · Development Officer · Non-Profit Organization Management · March 19, 2026
It's relatively easy to set up and work with. It's easy for our donors to use without an issue, and we don't really need customer support ever because of that.

Pros: I like the interface of the app. It's clean and gives an upscale appearance to our fundraising event. The bidding process was nice and simple, and it is not overly expensive compared to other software. Everything is straightforward, secure to my knowledge, and ready to go.
Cons: I know my coworkers who have worked with it longer do not like the recent updates to the software, so we are looking to switch in 2026. Part of the reason is we wanted something that integrated with our donor management software which, unfortunately, OneCause does not at this time.

Team is responsive and supportive. Onboarding is good. We've been using the system for about four or so years now.
Pros: Helpful support and account representatives Always adding new and helpful features to the software Auction offers a professional appearance and makes it easy for constituents to bid Online support library is very extensive and helpful with both videos and readable options Onsite support is great!
Cons: Our Foundation supports a very small rural hospital and the cost is a stretch for us, especially the onsite support for our auction which we find critical to the success of our event. We make it work because it has increased our auction revenue.

[sensitive content hidden] was great at teaching us how to use the platform. The Run of Show gives the needed framework and every customer support person was exceptional.
Pros: The entire platform is wonderful! Easy to use and comprehensive. [sensitive content hidden] met with us on a regular basis and was very helpful at explaining to the team how the platform works. Customer support was great and Jessica, who joined us at the event, was outstanding.
Cons: There are some redundancies at the point on entering the guests names. Also, it is very confusing for the guests to have to enter their credit card number to claim the ticket, even though their tickets were complimentary. They thought that the ticket purchase was required.

I have been using the Fundraising platform for 3 years. I am so impressed how they have grown it and committed to continuous improvement. Every single event, something has been added, enhanced, and upgraded. I have increased my fundraising through events by 47% in 3 years since switching to OneCause.
Pros: OneCause works perfectly for my large scale nonprofit events. While some other softwares tout themselves as being "free", I find that OneCause is worth the investment as it provides a seamless experience for guests and comprehensive event management for me. We have been very happy with all elements of a live fundraising event - auction, paddle raise, check-in and check out, raffles, and more! Their customer support is outstanding and they are committed to continued growth as they are constantly evolving the product with updates.
Cons: Unfortunately it doesn't integrate into our CRM directly (Blackbaud/Raiser's Edge) but using Omatic is not a problem.

Overall great program and experience. I have been working with them for years and the platform is extremely user friendly.
Pros: They had really strong customer support and their event management team took the time to understand our needs and goals for our events.
Cons: We had a little glitch during our event where images were not formatted correctly which covered some valuable information for our bidders. Unfortunately it was not able to be resolved during our event which could have hindered our fundraising capabilities.
Ilana H. · Director of Fundraising and Special Events · Non-Profit Organization Management · November 13, 2025
Pros: I cannot say enough good things about OneCause. Their team provided support wherever we needed it and made sure we were set up for success the night of our event. They were responsive, helpful, and truly invested in our success. It made for a seamless event!
Cons: I don't really have any negative feedback. Some tools take a bit of time to learn, but the support team made the learning curve easy.
Louisa R. · Executive Director · Non-Profit Organization Management · November 12, 2025
Our experience has been great! It has helped us grow in donorship. Customer service is great an helpful.
Pros: It has helped us raise more money for our agency. It has also helped with a more seamless check-in / check out for our event
Cons: There is a lot to learn up front however once you complete the classes it feels less daunting. It can feel a little overwhelming at first.
Danielle T. · Project Coordinator · Non-Profit Organization Management · November 12, 2025
We've had great customer service - all of the interactions I've had with humans at OneCause have been positive and helpful
Pros: OneCause is user-friendly from a donor perspective. I receive many comments after our annual Gala about how the platform is superior to other bidding and auction programs.
Cons: There were a few features in the old platform that were a little antiquated - I anticipate these have been updated and improved in the new version.
Amy G. · Advancement Team - Alumni Relations and Special Events · Education Management · November 11, 2025
I am a raving fan of OneCause and have been for years. I've used it for PTA fundraisers in both elementary & middle school; and convinced my employer to implement it for our annual fundraising gala at the non-profit I work for. I love the simplicity of the mobile bidding site, the ability to pull reports a variety of different ways, and the ease of use for guests. And I truly appreciate everyone at the customer service center. Unexpected issues always come up for events and they always remain calm while walking me through how to solve the issue at hand. Love, love OneCause for silent auctions!
Pros: OneCause is easy to set-up, has wonderful customer support if/when you have questions or issues, and provides a great user experience.
Cons: There have only been a few things I did not like about OneCause's mobile bidding platform, mostly dealing with file types and image hosting on a thirdparty platform (dropbox) BUT those have issues have been resolved with their new platform :)
Alicia S. · Development Assistant · Non-Profit Organization Management · November 10, 2025
Pros: The One Cause team was SO helpful at our event. They were efficient and knowledable and it was well worth the money to have them present to take care of us.
Cons: I haven't had any yet. I love their platform and the simplicity of it. There's nothing that I can come up with.
Celia W. · Event Manager · Non-Profit Organization Management · November 10, 2025
I have been impressed with OneCasue since our first interaction. The staff are friendly, the system operates easily, customer service has been efficient, helpful and kind when I have needed help, and OneCause University is fantastic.
Pros: The OneCause platform makes event management a breeze. The system is easy to navigate, the built in check lists to help your manage your event or fundraisers, and the reporting post event was fantastic. This system is a great value for money!
Cons: I have not had any negative to say. This software made event planning fun again! I was nervous about transitioning to a new software, but they delivered on everything from easy donor management all the way to easy guest experience at the event.
Julie B. · Assistant Director of Finance and Operations · Non-Profit Organization Management · November 10, 2025
After using different auction and registration platforms, OneCause hit the nail on the head with their platform. Everything was easy to find and made check-in for the event a breeze.
Pros: I love the ease of use in the event module. Everything is easy to find such as ticket holders, table captains and registrant information.
Cons: Trying to find the proper documents for upload took longer than I would like. We need a document for upload that includes all information.
Qiana A. · Development Administrator · Non-Profit Organization Management · November 10, 2025
Pros: The staff is amazing! The system is overall easy but at times it's a little too complicated. If we have issues the staff is always happy to help..
Cons: It's hard to learn for some reason- The check in tool is harder then expected and it's harder to navigate then we thought!
Stephanie S. · Manager of Events · Non-Profit Organization Management · November 10, 2025
We love OneCause. It makes events easy to navigate and allows us to run events smoothly. Their staff are incredible and make the software that much more worth the investment.
Pros: Absolutely adored our live support. [sensitive content hidden] are incredible. They answer everything within a timely manor to help us execute our event with excellence.
Cons: The fees are incredibly high. We have been considering other platforms to save on costs. Guests were off put buy the ticketing and credit card fees
Jennifer C. · Director of Events and Volunteer Engagement · Non-Profit Organization Management · November 10, 2025
We’ve been very happy with OneCause. Overall, OneCause has made running our fundraising auctions smoother, easier, and more successful.
Pros: The platform is user-friendly, both for our team and our bidders, and the online auction and mobile bidding features have noticeably increased our event revenue. Their customer support is responsive and helpful, which gives us a lot of confidence on event day.
Cons: My main frustration is that it isn’t easy to share or carry over information from one event to another within the platform.
Belinda V. · Chief Development Officer · Hospital & Health Care · November 10, 2025
My experience has been great. I especially appreciate the customer service help that is available whenever I have a question or need guidance. I also like the AI addition.
Pros: I like that OneCause is very intuitive to set up and manage. From setup to customer service to the end user, I think the process is seamless. It might seem expensive, but the time savings must be considered. It makes for a very efficient process, especially for non-profits with limited staff.
Cons: It is a very big process to get guests entered with all of the information. It takes too much time.
Terri G. · Director of Corporate Engagement · Non-Profit Organization Management · November 10, 2025
Overall, once you get used to the platform it is ok. It could use some improvement to make those of us that previously used eventbrite more comfortable.
Pros: I like that the platfrom allows us to have all of the information in one place. And provides you with a dashboard for you event.
Cons: I don't like how it updates every minute or 2. That feature is helpful when there is an live auction happening. However, when there is not a live event, the data should be constant. As it is difficult to look at an item and the bidder if you have to drag the bar accross, sometimes it updates and puts you back at the top of the auction box. That is very ANNOYING! Addtionally, if you can make it more intuitives that woudl be helpful. Like, who bid on what item. Or how much once person bid on all events. Also, when you dump money into our acccount. If you could lable the dump. Auction, Tickets, Suponsorships that woudl be hlepful as well.
Willonda M. · CEO · Program Development · November 10, 2025
I had a great experience with One Cause. As the new Events Coordinator I was able to use Zooms and online tools to learn about the One Cause platform. I was also able to schedule meetings with a One Cause person and ask my questions while looking at the screen together. I am looking forward to working with One Cause again.
Cons: People did not like that they had to enter a phone number and email address just to look at the Silent Auction on One Cause.
Heather O. · Events Coordinator · Non-Profit Organization Management · November 10, 2025
All the people were great to work with. Responsiveness was very good. Having the pay as you go option was needed with our group being so small.
Pros: We liked only dealing with URL link vs having to have people load an app. Also liked having access to support during event time range. Very helpful to speak to a person. The bidding process was very simple. The reporting was really helpful.
Cons: There might have been some misses we found like covering the sales tax. While we did find out how to manage it, we were already underway.
Rusty A. · Volunteer · Non-Profit Organization Management · November 10, 2025
The event management, bidding process is great and the event registration is excellent it made our guest memorable we got lots of positive feed back.
Pros: event management, bidding process, customer support, and on day of event registration was very smooth
Cons: I love OneCause the reporting could be easier the reports are a bit confusing form me in the beginning.
Carla B. · Events Manager · Health, Wellness and Fitness · November 10, 2025
We have held three events and three times I have needed OneCause support due to a my user errors. The OneCause staff was responsive, immediately available and able to resolve the matter quickly so that a potential major problem was removed completely. Our events were successful, enjoyable and the culmination of hard work and a lasting partnership with OneCause.
Pros: I'm slightly technophobic but found that the OneCause fundraising platform is user friendly, intuitive, safe for donors and creates an organized approach to our fundraising event that I didn't know I needed! Donors and bidders were able to access our event with ease. From an event host's perspective, they have thought of everything and it's worth the money!
Cons: I have yet to find anything that I really dislike. If I had to choose something it would be that there were times I felt like I was left alone to figure out the learning phase. I could have used someone who would make sure I am on track to get the most out of the software and that I am reviewing all the tutorials
Tim B. · Managing Director · Civic & Social Organization · September 16, 2025
I have loved using OneCause for our events. Setup is easy and the customer support is responsive and helpful. Our bidding and donations increased tremendously since making the switch 7 years ago. The product keeps getting better.
Pros: Customer Service! Very knowledgable staff. Very helpful on technical issues and other operational areas. I love the platform for my event guests. Most understand it easily and can troubleshoot pretty quickly.
Cons: For me, the actual adding multiple pictures for items. And, the custom pages can be a little technical for rookies.
Lisa S. · Director of Events · Education Management · September 15, 2025
WE are VERY disappointed. And after numerous problems right out of the gate, there is no partial or full refund. So our addictions and homeless shelter are just out $3000.
Pros: It seemed like it would make events - from internal staff events to big fundraising events- easier. It did not.
Cons: For small, free events like a Volunteer Luncheon, attendees who want to RSVP need to enter a credit card, which of course would never happen. Also it's not user friendly to set up events, and took WAY too much time and too many calls to customer service.
