It was great. We used it for an event that included on-site bidding and donations.
Pros: Worked well for a small non-profit organization. Inexpensive, strong customer service, easy to use
Cons: The only issues we had as first time users were on our end.

AuctionSnap freed up myself and my staff to go talk with our donors during the event. In past years we did not have this luxury because we had to have someone managing the silent auction bid sheets, someone managing the paddle raise, and at the end of the night it was an all hands on deck for checkout. AuctionSnap did all of this for us and because of it we were able to raise more money!
Pros: There's many things I love about AuctionSnap. 1. The ease our donors had checking out at the end of the auction. There was no long line like in past years everyone was able to check out quickly and easily from their phone. 2. Having the ability for donors to set up and auto bid on silent auction items allowed them to really enjoy the event with out having to go back and always check the bid sheets. 3. Donors who could not make the event still had the ability to bid on items and make donations right from their phone.
Cons: This was our first event with AuctionSnap and we did not have any issues.

Overall, I LOVE AuctionSnap. As a long-time customer of DonorSnap I was extremely happy to see this being rolled out. After years of doing silent auctions in person, we had wanted to do one online. After shopping around, I contacted DonorSnap to see if they had any reccomendations for silent auction platforms. AuctionSnap was not publicly available yet, but it was becoming available just in time for me to use. The customer service rep was helpful in answering my question. That said, there were not really any issues with the platform. Any trouble I had was just my own, and my participants', learning curve.Speaking of my participants, they all reported liking it. Best of all, we raised more money on our silent auction than ever before! Many of our bidders were not able to attend the event; some had little connection with our organization at all. But they saw the auction on social media and bid and won! I look forward to using AuctionSnap in future years and increasing our fundraising.
Pros: AuctionSnap made it easy to set up our first ever online silent auction for our 2023 gala. Uploading pictures of the auction items was quick and simple. I especially appreciated that there was a spot for us to recognize our event sponsors. And as a DonorSnap customer, I loved that it integrates with DonorSnap. I was able to import contacts and easily collect payment.
Cons: The only negative I can think of was that participants had to go through a web browser rather than download an app. This was not a big deal, but an app would be even more streamlined.
