Ever since we switched to this software, donor tracking has been a breeze. We are 100% satisfied and highly recommend this company.
Pros: Donor tracking capabilities, mass emails, and customer service are tops. The newly added Que is fabulous!! We used it during the free trial period.
Cons: I can honestly say that there are no negative aspects of this software. However, it would be nice if Que were included in our monthly subscription.

My experience has been one that continues to impress me with what I am able to do with the software, how it helps to keep our overhead costs to a minimum, and the amazing return on investment.
Pros: Bonterra Network for Good is the most cost-effective program that I've found. The customer service is top notch and everyone is always extremely helpful. The security features allows for us to be confident in our data and funds. The reporting options allow you the means to pull data in various ways, providing instantaneous access to reports of your data for your use. Payment processing is easy to use and understand, as well as determining the fee processing for donations. They also take user suggestions to help build even more features and functions.
Cons: There is nothing I don't like about Bonterra Network for Good - I'm constantly impressed with the ease of use, cost, and new features being rolled out.

Overall, my experience with Bonterra Network for Good has been positive, particularly for organizations looking for a simple, all-in-one fundraising and donor management solution
Pros: Bonterra Network for Good is super easy to use and great for our mid-sized nonprofit team. It has a bunch of capacity to help your organization, including but not limited to donor data, email campaigns, events, and fundraising. My organization uses it mostly for donor data and fundraising. Additionally, the fundraising support is awesome, offering handy tips and best practices to help you stay on track and boost your programmatic efforts.
Cons: Cost is one of the biggest drawbacks. Pricing is high, and the reporting functionality and customization options can feel somewhat limited compared to CRMs I've used with other organizations.

I have enjoyed the Bonterra software overall! Having multiple tools combined in one place has eased my workload a bit and helped to create efficiency in ways I had not thought of previously.
Pros: I liked the comprehensive tools that allow me to receive and track donations, increase donor stewardship and connect with volunteers.
Cons: The newsletter interface can sometimes be difficult to work with. I sometimes feel limited in some of the design features of that particular tool.
Ashiya S. · Executive Director · Non-Profit Organization Management · December 22, 2025
One of the most valuable aspects is the integrated communication tools. Being able to create email campaigns, segment donor lists, and track engagement within the same system saves significant time. The SmartAsk and guided fundraising resources are also helpful for organizations without dedicated development staff.
Pros: Network for Good offers a donor management system that is intuitive, accessible, and well-suited for small to mid-sized nonprofits looking to streamline their fundraising and stewardship efforts. The platform shines in its simplicity—most features are easy to navigate, even for staff members who are not tech-savvy. The clean interface makes common tasks like entering donations, pulling donor histories, and sending acknowledgments straightforward.
Cons: the system does have limitations. Reporting is adequate for basic needs but can feel restrictive for organizations that require deeper analytics or more customizable data exports. Some workflows—such as batch data entry or managing complex multi-fund designations—could be more efficient. Additionally, while customer support is responsive, certain advanced questions sometimes require multiple follow-ups.

I like how we can input a lot of information about our members. I like how we can put a name in the contact box and it brings that person right up if we already have info on them.
Pros: Our members can pay for events through NFG. When searching for a contact, it’s easy to see what events they have paid for.
Cons: If your updating a member that happens to be on page 19, and after you hit update and save, you have to go all the way back to page one and go forward or if you’re on page 30, you go to the end and work backwards. Why can’t you hit Update and save and go right back to the same page you were working on?
Barbara H. · Directory membership chair · Non-Profit Organization Management · December 5, 2025
I enjoy the ease of us of NFG for my email blasts. I use it to announce events, and I like the way I can keep track of attendees including ages.
Pros: Volunteer Management and address is what I use the most. Email Blasts is very useful and easy to use.
Cons: Takes so long to sign in to Network for Good. For the use I have of NFG I really do not have a least like.
Cheryl C. · Volunteer Coordinator-Events Assistant · Non-Profit Organization Management · December 1, 2025
I truly love the whole experience with Bonterra Network for Good. I also like to see the continuous advancement and new products to help us raise more money for our causes
Pros: Really easy to work with and the ability to keep track of all donation in one place is perfect for what my charitable foundation needs. I also love the event and auction components , makes organizing and tracking a fundraiser super easy
Cons: Contact levels dictating the price levels for my foundation. I feel that increasing the yearly membership at 501 contacts is too low and forces me to delete contacts each year.
Louis C. · President and Founder · Fund-Raising · December 1, 2025
It seems to be a great fit for many purposes (newsletters, email blasts, fundraising, etc.) We're trying to set up our volunteer sign-up options through NFG as well, but haven't gotten there quite yet!
Pros: The ease and intuitive nature of creating our newsletters! I find the layout options and possible inclusions very valuable. Once you use the system once, it clicks!
Cons: It takes a longer than usual amount of time to login. I'm nitpicking. I know we're running into a few snafus with getting our volunteer sign-up and staff sign-up options transferred over, but I'm not sure the issue as I'm not the one working on it.
Nadia B. · Community Wellness Coordinator · Non-Profit Organization Management · December 1, 2025
First year I had a promotional rate and money-back guarantee, which helped me get over sticker shock. After using for several years, I rely on the features and functionality.
Pros: The all-in-one design streamlines my ticket and donor processing. The email blasts are easy to compose on computer and possible to make on ipad.
Cons: I was initially put off by the price tag, but it works as advertised. When I can’t figure out how to do something, Support is helpful.
Martha F. · Executive Director · Music · December 1, 2025
Overall I think you're incredibly fastidious you're on The cutting edge you're very conscientious of staying in communication with your client base you're willing to shape your software to meet the changing needs and your frequently sharing updates on information to show how to use the software more effectively. I find the too easy to use and I enjoy those interactions. Overall it's really a pretty great software system.
Pros: As a grant writer I mostly use Network for good to enter our donor funds as they come in and to keep track of grants that we receive. I'm really valuing how easy it is to use the system. I don't have to do a ton of work to get the necessary info entered. I like that when I start to type in addresses of new contacts it finds the address and populates the rest of the fields. I also like the new AI tool for creating reports I was able to ask for reports that reflected favorable outcomes just to test it out and it was clever enough to figure out what data looks decent and to send that to me. Although we haven't used it I think the text and video tools are a nice option. As somebody who values using tech I think it's good to have these things in place for when the organization is ready to do such but right now we're a little bit old-fashioned in some ways.
Cons: $8b
Maria W. · Grant writer · Health, Wellness and Fitness · December 1, 2025
Pros: The customer support is amazing. It is so nice how easy and quick it is to get help whenever I need it. The system is very user friendly and easy to use, which is rare to find.
Cons: I wish there were more features in donor records like event history and address/phone history. If you want these additional details, you must put it in the donor notes... which isn't ideal. Also if someone wants to unsubscribe from communications, like receiving fundraising emails, you must unsubscribe to all emails. I wish you could be more specific about communication preferences. If we could get these additional tools, this would be my favorite CRM.
Courtney R. · Development Manager · Education Management · December 1, 2025
My overall experience thus far has been excellent. We bought the import support and our assigned support person was wonderful, working with us and advising us at every step for a successful import. We created our first campaign and have used the email module several times, each time with success. In fact, we can now eliminate other bulk email software that we've used in the past and save money doing so. The self-help modules and videos are clear and provide excellent process documentation. This is one of the best decisions I've made!
Pros: The onboarding is outstanding; led by staff who truly care about our success. The system is easy to use and works great. All modules work well together, the navigation is clear and the final outcome is excellent. It is everything we need all in one package.
Cons: I haven't found anything that I don't like. The only thing that is a negative, and it's actually unimportant, is that logging in can be a bit slow at times.
Ken D. · CFO · Non-Profit Organization Management · November 29, 2025
Overall, I've had a great experience with Bonterra Network for Good in my role. It has definitely streamlined many of the tasks I perform. It has encouraged me to stretch my creativity, as the software makes it quicker to do the work I have and frees up time for me to think outside of the box.
Pros: I love that Bonterra Network For Good is a one-stop shop for everything I need when it comes to fundraising and communicating with donors. It is very simple to create segments for emails and texts. Donors report having an easy time making card payments and the system auto-generates a customizable receipt. Reports are easy to pull from the software and easy to export. Data is even more quantitative with the use of Que, their new built-in fundraising coach.
Cons: Bonterra Network for Good could be better with automating tasks. As a small non-profit with a small staff, sometimes it would be beneficial to have mundane tasks set to run on their own. Our organization has also been interested in creating donor journeys, but the software does not support the automation necessary to make that happen, so we've been having to manually perform all of the tracking and communication. However, they've been steadily upgrading and expanding what the software can do, and I'm confident that more automation will be introduced in the future.

Largely very positive, from price to reporting to the new AI feature and communications tools. Until this month, I would say my experience has been really great. I have always recommended Bonterra to new fundraisers and small non-profit EDs who reach out to me for advice.
Pros: I learned how to become a great nonprofit fundraiser through their coach. I find the platform fairly intuitive to use. I love the dashboard and its information presentation. I appreciate their efforts to get ahead-of-the-curve with improvements, most recently with the launch of their AI feature.
Cons: The email and contact components of the system failed in mid-November, a massive blow to my year-end work. It took a week for everything to be sorted out and working again. I have always been a huge fan of Bonterra, but this experience was damaging.
Robin M. · Executive Director · Non-Profit Organization Management · November 25, 2025
I've used NFG for over 5 years now and have always rated it highly. Like I said before, I really like how they are constantly upgrading the platform and not all upgrades include extra fees. That is very important.
Pros: I love Network for Good. I used it at my previous employer and had my current employer change over after showing all that it can do. I like that they are always improving the platform. I also like the different avenues of training that they offer.
Cons: My only issue is that downloading a video can be a little tricky, but I'm hoping to learn ways around that.
Amie C. · Director of Development · Non-Profit Organization Management · November 25, 2025
I appreciate the various offerings that Bonterra provides, but obtaining support has proven to be challenging so far. I hope Bonterra improves this.
Pros: I appreciate the ease of use with the product. We have had great success using it for our donations. I'm grateful!
Cons: The support needs an upgrade. The only way to get support is through email; there is no chat or phone number available, like before when Network for Good was a stand-alone company.
Mark M. · President · Non-Profit Organization Management · August 4, 2025
It has been a great resource. It helps simplify my work and helps me manage donors and receipting. I have utilized the auction platform successfully, too and have been able to raise a record amount of money.
Pros: It is easy to use and helps organize data. I find that it saves time and money. I really like the ability to track donor information and handle receipting with a click of a button.
Cons: I would like to have volunteer information capabilities, since I oversee the volunteer program. I would like to have volunteer hour management features. I also don't like the fact that FACTS is not able to automatically transfer new and updated family information. It takes time to upload new school family information for each new school year.
Jennifer R. · Assistant Director of Development · Education Management · June 19, 2025
Our experience has been great! We truly value our software and will always use it. I don't think we'll switch to anything else!
Pros: It's made communicating with our donors much easier! We also love how easily it tracks our donor info and sponsorship info,
Cons: The only con is the price. It can be expensive for a small nonprofit, but it's worth its weight in gold!
Emily A. · Foundation Liaison · Recreational Facilities and Services · June 18, 2025
Having the templates, and weekly training sessions to make us more productive in operating a non-profit organization.
Pros: Makes communicating with donors easy. Able to assist with financial record keeping. Updated and effective tools and techniques to fundraise and sustain donors relationship.
Cons: I am not sure. I like a lot about Bonterra Network for Good. I think still promoting events when the dates have past might be an oversight. But otherwise, it's all good.
Teisha N. · Administrator · Religious Institutions · June 17, 2025
This software has been great. We've been using Network for Good for many years, and once we purchased the enterprise version, it really streamlined things for us.
Pros: We love the integration of donor management, online donation platform, being able to have many fundraising pages for our many different endowment funds, virtual and live auctions, and events. It's fantastic.
Cons: For awhile we had trouble getting answers to our questions through customer service, but that has gotten a lot better.
Scott W. · Executive Director · Non-Profit Organization Management · April 24, 2025
We've used it for five years now and have had a good overall experience so far. One of our staff recently left who did most donation processing, and so it will be interesting to see if the support and training from Bonterra Guided Fundraising is strong.
Pros: The ability to set up various fundraising campaigns as needed. Also, gifts via credit card are easy to process, and the proceeds are always on time.
Cons: I wish it offered more read-only report options instead of importing data via csv files.
Stephen W. · Director of Finance · Non-Profit Organization Management · April 24, 2025
Bonterra has been a great fit for us. With all our donors in one spot, it is easy to communicate with patrons in this vital time of change as we embark on a new library. We have increased our donations through more effective ways of asking. Our coach has shared wonderful ideas for boosting our fundraising strategies as well as staying connected through our monthly newsletters. We are very grateful for this platform.
Pros: The one-on-one personal attention to our needs is extremely valuable. Our coach has been great in teaching us how to navigate the platform, import patrons, create templates, etc. This has given us the opportunity to organize our donors all in one place, communicate more easily and stay connected.
Cons: There is so much to learn that I am concern I'm not confident in using Network for Good on my own yet. We depend on our coach for a lot.
Teresa S. · Library Director · Libraries · April 22, 2025
We set appointments, had really friendly and non-judgmental space where we could brainstorm and learn new skills. We were able to be "set-up for success" and also make it our own.
Pros: Bonterra Guided Fundraising helped me as a new fundraiser to get that jump start that I guess I was afraid to do by myself. I definitely feel much more confident in creating and working towards my fundraising goals.
Cons: The product itself has limitations or additional cost, which can be frustrating.
Melissa B. · Director of Marketing and Development · Non-Profit Organization Management · April 21, 2025
I would rate you all a 5 out of 5 for overall fundraising assistance
Pros: The accessibility of your platform and easiness to navigate
Cons: There are no complaints at this time with your service
