Pros: It’s very easy to navigate. And plenty of phone support when needed.

Cons: Can’t think of anything. I’m computer challenged and I felt very supported.

Pros: It is very easy to set up an auction with Biddingolw.com and it is easy to check into your auction. Plus adjustment are also easy to do before and during the auction.

Cons: I really think it would be nice if the added items could also be looked by the category that they were entered under when the item was added. That why you would not have to go through the entire list to make changes.

Pros: The website is very intuitive. It was easy to load auction items, use AI when necessary to write engaging descriptions, easy to edit and add photos, etc. etc. All my auction needs were met and the display is very attractive.

Cons: Some of our bidders weren't sure that their bids went through. I think there should be a confirmation of initial registration and bids, rather than only when a person has been outbid.

Pros: Easy to use. Allowed to adjust an auto bid.

Cons: It seemed like there was not an option to stay logged in.

Pros: We were first drawn to biddingowl because there are no annual fees. We are a charity organization looking to maximize the monies being donated to our cause. The fee structure of 5% of the high bids is in-line with other competitive auction processing.

Cons: There were a few changes made in the new biddingowl that we were not originally happy with. We contacted their support and appreciated the quick response. Some things they were able to help us with right away, other are being slotted as future release enhancements. We appreciate that they listened and took our opinions into account

Pros: The customer service and the website was so easy to set up and use for our school auction.

Cons: We had a great experience. I would say maybe the only thing that would have been helpful is if you had automatically charges bidders and asked for credit cards up front. That would make fulfillment easier.

Pros: The Bidding Owl software and team is experienced working with nonprofit organizations, and is very user friendly. This year there was a software upgrade, and the team was very responsive in helping us to understand the changes, and make sure we were ready to go.

Cons: We have been very happy with BiddingOwl.com.

Pros: BiddingOwl was easy to set up and add item. Looking forward to running the auction and its performance.

Cons: Nothing so far. BiddingOwl has met all of my needs.

Pros: We wanted an online auction platform that was easy to setup and use for our biannual art auction. Another nonprofit we know used it for a similar purpose and recommended it to us. We are pleased with the results!

Cons: We had some users that had difficulty finding our auction on their mobile phone, finding that a search for BiddingOwl came up with legacy.biddingowl site instead of the new version that included our auction. We also ended up with a shipping charge added to every invoice instead of having it be optional, but these were minor difficulties.

Cons: They changed the website and there was a learning curve, but not terrible

Pros: The pros for BiddingOwl include: - extremely easy to use in terms of set up - extremely easy for the participants to use (setting up bidding profiles and making bids) - pricing is very low - liked that no credit card information is stored in the system - but they integrate with PayPal. - most important - the customer service is amazing. BiddingOwl can easily be reached by phone, they participated in meetings with us and provided training - all at no additional cost!

Cons: - a little challenging to offer items that are only "buy it now" via the auction. not impossible - just have to play with the pricing of the items a bit.

Pros: Customer Support is great. Ease of listing items is good. Photo adding has improved with the new revisions of the site.

Cons: I did like the old Leaderboard functions. It gave greater detail and breakdown. Also the new version does not have an "Expiration date" field. That was a good reminder to list expiration dates.

Pros: Relatively easy setup, bidding was easy enough, no user complaints

Cons: New version lost features the old version had and while the new interface looks better it doesn't necessarily perform better in some areas. At least that was my experience during the initial setup, improvements are ongoing.

Pros: We like the 'look' of the auction pages! It is an improvement to be able to add 5 photos to each item. Also, the bids are easy to make and bidders can be reminded if they lose a bid. Support is very prompt and helpful!

Cons: Some of the instructions are a bit hard to understand-ie at the top of Item Management.

Pros: BiddingOwl worked very well for our non-profit's annual auctions. It's easy to learn how to use and it was intuitive for our bidders too. It offers flexibility and customization, and the support system was fairly helpful. It's much less expensive than the other vendors we looked at and we are overall happy with how our events went.

Cons: I've had a few unhelpful replies from customer support. It can be tedious to edit all of your items, for example if you want to renumber them. A few bidders had trouble figuring out how to checkout. Uploading images sometimes produced errors.

Pros: The program is easy to use for managers and bidders.

Pros: The customer service!! JoAnne was friendly and helpful and answered all of my questions.

Cons: It is an older system but essentially works the same as other auction sites. Once you get the hang of it, you are able to set up your auction with ease.

Cons: The cost. We didn’t love having to take money out of our fundraiser to pay for it but it’s okay!

Pros: I like how Bidding Owl lets you set up an attractive auction website, with very straightforward and foolproof functionality. I also like how it is all inclusive, rather than nickle and diming you for each bit of functionality. Also, when I reached out to customer support with a concern by email, they got back to me immediately.

Cons: I would love to be able to list an auction item under two categories. I feel like by having to choose a category for each item, you run the risk that you will mis-categorize and lose a potential bidder. I also wish there was real time, live person, chat support.

Pros: We researched a lot of options for our auction and Bidding Owl was straightforward and simple to setup and manage.

Cons: We used the shortened url suggested as a link in our first eblast instead of the longer url required for that, which lead to some frustration with a broken link. Tech support was helpful but I wish we would have realized before sending to avoid that.

Pros: The best part of my personal experience has been the friendly, efficient, and helpful staff who have responded to any of my questions.

Cons: There are a couple of aesthetic things I would like to see changed (eg. removal of categories not used in our on-line auction), and I would like to be able to load more than one picture at a time. However, these are insignificant against the overall ease and efficiency of the program.

Pros: I love that we can open the auction up to more people outside of just the attendees at our event. BiddingOwl makes it so easy for customers to see the items available and easily place their bids. Then they can enjoy other activities and be notified when they need to adjust their bid.

Cons: If you have a large ticket item, the fee you pay is a bit steep, but that is the tradeoff for having an easily and accessible auction with all of the tools for invoicing.
