An open-source localization platform that developers enjoy working with. No more editing localization files, no more confusing translation files and processes, and no more data exporting for translators. The core reason behind all inaccurate translations is missing context. Uploading screenshots to provide context has never been so simple. Screenshots can be automatically generated in an in-context editing view using the Tolgee Chrome plugin. Moreover, Tolgee's AI translation uses the context from screenshots to speed up the translation process while providing accurate results.

I very much enjoyed the platform. It is fairly priced, highly capable and very reliable. I would use it again.
Pros: Great design. Love the ability to train the AI by providing overall app context, and specific key context.
Cons: It had occasional issues with improperly escaping placeholders.

Pros: I love the interface and that is really easy to use. I love the possibility of hosting the file on your own and use that interface for free.
Cons: The slowness sometimes for fetching the remote file. The occasional errors when fetching the file on our app.

Pros: The devex for using translations in react are awesome, coupled with the ability for the chrome extension to create translations is just great.
Cons: The chrome extension was difficult to figure out without hunting down the documentation page

Best open source solution that exist on the market
Pros: Easy to use, easy to integrate. No training are required. Everybody know how to work in minutes.
Cons: We faced small problem and bugs in app, but latest version fix them all.

As a developer I like working with it but it was a bit hard to integrate with our setup due to the compatibility build of vue
Pros: The product is ideal for working together with our copy and translation team and helps us to ge translations faster and more correct into production
Cons: It was our choice to implement it in an app which runs the vue compatibility build and that does not always align with minor software upgrades from tolgee. CDN has some downtime sometimes.

Pros: Intuitive, easy to learn interface and functions. Easy to use Figma plugin.
Cons: Version control and management is not yet available.

Pros: Automated translation and easy filtering.
Cons: Subscription process had a few bugs but was fixed fast for us through the team
Nikita K. · CTO · Computer Software · June 18, 2024
Pros: User-Friendly: Tolgee is incredibly intuitive, making it easy for anyone to get started quickly. Time-Saving: The machine learning feature saves a lot of time, which is crucial in startup environments like ours. Live Translation: The ability to translate text directly on the page, with context available, is incredibly powerful. Seamless Collaboration: Inviting colleagues is very simple and they can quickly understand how to use the platform.
Cons: Honestly, I can't find any cons. Tolgee works perfectly and meets all my needs, providing a smooth and efficient localization experience.

Pros: Tolgee is an exceptional localization platform that offers a seamless, non-disruptive adoption curve for technical, functional, and product teams alike. We chose Tolgee because it provides an intuitive and efficient solution for managing the translations of our digital products, which include both a mobile application and a web application. Its comprehensive features and user-friendly interface have significantly streamlined our translation process, enhancing our overall productivity and ensuring high-quality localization across all platforms.
Cons: We have not identified any pitfall yet.

Pros: - easy of access - multiple languages - handles JSON (and other formats) really well - easy export of different localization files in correct format - machine translation - custom team roles - clear easy design - great support
Cons: I don't really have any cons, I had a pleasant time with Tolgee while we used it.
Robin A. · Senior Software Engineer · Information Technology and Services · June 18, 2024
Very happy with the tool up until now. Can recommend.
Pros: Price-quality level of Tolgee is perfect.
Cons: Integration has to happen through an API.
Brenden C. · CTO · Information Services · April 23, 2024
Very positive, Tolgee has increased development efforts since developers can worry less and spend less time on translation management.
Pros: Mostly intuitive UI and well integrated with machine translation providers. Easily manage translation keys across many languages. Import/export. API and CLI tools readily available. Easily filter and mark translations. See overall stats and progress on translations per language. Tolgee team is consistency improving the product, i.e. new features, new batch APIs, etc.
Cons: Nothing overly negative to say about Tolgee. Only thing I wish was different is that "select all" is a batch API operation that can sometimes have issues, but I realize that it is that way since not all translations are loaded on the screen at once.

My overall experience with Tolgee was exceptionally positive, standing out when compared to numerous other products in the market. Its quick response times, clarity in presentation, and the inclusion of automated translation features significantly saved time and streamlined the translation process. This combination of efficiency, user-friendliness, and time-saving automation made it a highly satisfactory tool to work with.
Pros: The aspects of Tolgee that stood out the most were its competitive pricing structure, user-friendly interface, and the extensive array of features it offers. This made it an appealing option, delivering excellent value and enhancing operational efficiency through its supportive functionalities and ease of navigation. These advantages made it highly favorable compared to other options.
Cons: One of the few drawbacks of Tolgee was the challenge in locating the most recently translated string, along with a navigation system within the translation fields that relies too heavily on mouse interaction. A keyboard-centric approach for navigation would be greatly preferred for enhancing efficiency and ease of use.

Pros: Easy to use, comprehensive API documentation
Cons: Idk how this tool is not so popular, had to google a bit.
Oleksandr Z. · CEO · Entertainment · March 8, 2024
Pros: It works. I don't really have experience with any other tools of this kind.
Cons: Might be just the way our team uses it, but using Tolgee still requires action on the front-end side to make the translations available for the website. It would be better if I didn't have to touch the front-end code to add a translation.

One of the very good tools of words management I have ever used
Pros: Easy to use the tool without any instructions or manual
Cons: No, I could not find it about Cons things

Pros: Transitioning to Tolgee from the i18next library has been a game-changer for our project. Unlike i18next, which often required multiple packages and intricate setups for basic i18n integration, Tolgee simplifies the entire process with just a single package. Gone are the days of managing translation files and grappling with Git conflicts during branch merges. Tolgee's intuitive translation panel streamlines the translation workflow, making it effortless to localize our project. With Tolgee, everything simply works as it should, allowing us to focus more on development and less on the complexities of internationalization. It's been a breath of fresh air for our team, and we couldn't be happier with the switch
Cons: I would be happier if Tolgee offered advanced search functionality and more bulk actions. These features would further streamline our workflow, allowing for quicker navigation and management of translations.

7/10 i my score on the product. Looking forward to improvement to come.
Pros: Easy to use for non-tech people, and hassle free
Cons: translation to scandinavian languages could be better

My overall experience with Tolgee has been highly positive. The efficiency gained from Autonomous Translation significantly accelerates the localization process, although there was a slight learning curve with interface customization. The platform's seamless integration and real-time gains make it an invaluable tool for streamlining development tasks.
Pros: Autonomous Translation by Tolgee has truly transformed my development experience. The immediate translation of new keys without manual intervention is a game-changer. This hands-free efficiency not only saves time but also allows me to focus on core tasks.
Cons: While Tolgee impresses with its Autonomous Translation, the customization options in the interface pose a slight learning curve. Navigating through preferences and settings can be a bit intricate, requiring some time to familiarize oneself with the platform's nuances. However, once accustomed, the benefits far outweigh this initial challenge.
Dzmitry R. · Software engineer · Marketing and Advertising · January 26, 2024
Pros: Easy of use, organization and collaboration between teams. API Integrations, activity report although I'd like it to be a separate option so it has more details and filters to see who did what and when instead of scrolling down.
Cons: In cases where self-hosting is not used, the prices seem a bit high.
Lluc M. · Marketing Technology Teamlead · Gambling & Casinos · January 26, 2024
Exceptional and satisfactorily. It was easy to learn to use.
Pros: Ease of use and the efficiency. Tolgee also has a very friendly and appealing interface.
Cons: Machine Translation is yet to be fully developed.

Pros: - You can self-host it - Generous free plan - In context translation (killer feature) - Very good documentation - Really helpful community on Slack - Really nice intuitive UI for the admins - Easy to learn API and CLI
Cons: Webhooks are not included in the free plan
Tamas K. · Frontend developer · Civic & Social Organization · December 25, 2023
Pros: Really easy to use and not hard to understand.
Cons: Paid version seems not that improvement.
