Overall, my experience with Adobe Commerce has been positive. It’s a powerful and feature-rich platform that supports growth and customization, though it requires time, resources, and expertise to use effectively.

Pros: I like the flexibility and scalability of the platform. It allows for deep customization and supports complex business needs, making it a strong choice for growing or enterprise-level companies.
Cons: The biggest downside is the complexity and cost. It often requires technical expertise to manage and can be more expensive compared to other platforms.

It is a very powerful tool. However it is expensive and sometimes you do need a dedicated in-house developers team
Pros: You can freely customise the checkout, product pages, and backend workflow exactly to your need with no limit. It can also handle complicated and massive catalog and not choke on the data.
Cons: Upgrade needs working. Every time it upgrades, there is a big risk of my website being down. It also has conflicts with third party plug-ins. The hidden costs of maintenance is also another pain, even though the licensing fee is free. Sometime you have to pay a specialised Magento agencies for complex maintenance tasks.

Pros: Adobe Commerce helped my company with inventory, POS and editing our website. I found it easy to use with tutorials along the way and if in had questions customer service was there to support.
Cons: I feel it’s pricey and when in went to cancel it wasn’t as clear a process as I had hoped, but customer service did help.

Tons of extensions, documentation, and third-party developers available, which makes it easier to find solutions (or help) when things get complicated...and they most likely will at some point haha.
Pros: Adobe Commerce is a beast in the best way. You can customize almost every part of the storefront, checkout, product logic, and backend workflows. It’s ideal for complex catalogs, B2B pricing, and multi-store setups.
Cons: This is not beginner-friendly. Non-technical users may find the admin overwhelming, and meaningful customization usually requires experienced developers.

Overall, i would say that Adobe Vommerce works very well for me in setting up my platform and every day to day change for my work.
Pros: Adobe commerce is very easy to use and gove good value for mone. Most times when i need some help, their customer support system works fine and i find it easy to navigate complex issues.
Cons: I think this is an issue with the device i was using ebfore now. But the pace of optimization for Adobe Commerce is high so i could help buy had to change my device as upgrading the latest versions wasnt possible anymore.

This is a great tool to use if you are managing multiple stores however it seems a bit overkill for a single storefront.
Pros: This service is wonderful for multi store management and has a really great checkout experience with great payment options.
Cons: The dashboard and service functions could be a little more innovative. It is a bit lacklustre for what you pay.

After 5 years using it, I found it very limiting without a strong and dedicated IT team behind you...
Pros: Highly versatile and customizable, Adobe Commerce lets you tailor every aspect of your store’s design and logic.
Cons: High cost, constant need for a developer, and long working hours make it demanding to maintain the platform.

We started using Adobe Commerce as a separate platform for half of year now. During this time, a significant visitor number increase as well as new partners are now a fundamental part of our business. We have reached new customers and the overall integration is seamless, fast and stable with scalability at its core.
Pros: Based on Magento, Adobe Commerce helped us reach the desired B2B levels desired. We have managed to reach different markets and reorganise the small resell aspects of our operations. We have implemented Adobe Commerce to our clients as well, with speed increased and number of visits significantly increased.
Cons: Certain limitations, certain aspects require support or paid integrations. We had a smooth experience overall and with the help of their Customer Support we found viable solutions.

Clever piece of software that requires deep technical understanding to manipulate it but can be used to manage site day to day.
Pros: Flexibility to adapt the software to so almost what ever you want. Allowing integrations and features otherwise not available.
Cons: You need a development team competent with adobe commerce to program and maintain the site for you regularly.
Grady H. · Operations Manager · Wholesale · September 18, 2025
Pros: I enjoy the advanced customization options that Adobe Commerce offers, which allow very tailored shopping experiences. Amazing for inventory management, website customization and great customer support.
Cons: Maintenance is heavy, updates can cause issues, and running it smoothly often demands strong technical expertise.

Massive e-commerce platform with limitless customization and enterprise-grade features. Requires a level of understanding the average user may not have.
Pros: Extreme customization, advanced features for large enterprises, strong community of developers for third-party integrations.
Cons: Steep learning curve, very technical, not beginner-friendly. Expensive to build, host, and maintain. Developers are very much required. Extensions often add cost and can cause compatibility issues.

Adobe commerce gave us the ability to market our product globally as well as giving us the opportunity to sell to other companies as well as direct customer.
Pros: I like how Adobe commerce gives me the ability to bring a storefront to customers and other businesses worldwide.
Cons: I like everything about Adobe commerce. It has scaled or sales up by astronomical percentages and made it easy in doing so.

It's a very good tool to have, it has a learning curve but just like any app or software, but it allows to grow easily and everything you need is in one place.
Pros: Simple and straight to the point allows businesses to grow without switching platforms
Cons: The platform is difficult to set up, especially for non-developers and beginners and there is a learning curve on how to use it.

This platform is very powerful, at the beginning is hard to understand but you can learn in the process.
Pros: I appreciate Adobe Commerce for its flexibility and scalability. It allows businesses to customize their online stores extensively, tailoring them to specific needs and branding requirements.
Cons: The prices are too high, but it’s great quality. Also it’s hard to understand at the beginning.
Marian V. · Community manager · Marketing and Advertising · March 8, 2025
Pros: I liked that the program was very simple and easy to use, all the tools were close together and was self explanatory.
Cons: I liked least about Adobe Commerce was that the program would always self save the project I am working on, and it could be a distraction toward the project.

I think the content and product structure is solid. Security-wise, it's far superior to other CMS platforms.
Pros: Basic features are quick and easy to set up. Simple things like developing a simple theme are easy for anyone to use.
Cons: When you want to develop or customize something like a user interface, it can take a lot of time.
Anonymous User · Owner · Accounting · August 23, 2024
Overall, I will continue using Adobe Commerce because of the ease of posting items and the wide range of varying customizations which, make it something I don't need to spend a bulk of my time using.
Pros: The ease of use is what I enjoy most about Adobe Commerce. Like the other programs within Adobe they can be used to navigate workflow easily for ecommerce shop owners.
Cons: It can get pricey for a business owner if you have a larger inventory of items you're looking to sell. The customizations within your items can also up the price within the platform.
Stephanie P. · owner · Design · August 5, 2024
We upgraded to Adobe Commerce from Magento 1. The 3 year contract was around £100k and the build took about a year. Nothing was implemented quickly because our devs were too tied up with security updates. The platform is powerful but its excessive for most SME e-commerce businesses, especially those carrying a single product type.
Pros: The visual page builder was a big improvement from Magento 2, but its not ready to go out of the box you still need dev work.
Cons: The constant dev work needed for the quarterly security updates.
Steve R. · Marketing Manager · Apparel & Fashion · July 12, 2024
Pros: Adobe Commerce has the favorable ability to integrate with other softwares, which stands out amongst competitors. It also offers flexibility and customizable features to adapt to different work-related conditions.
Cons: Customization can be tricky, especially for new users. A tutorial to make navigation easier can be extremely beneficial in order to sustain long-term users.
