Cin7 Core helps small businesses manage inventory, purchasing, and order workflows across multiple channels. It’s most used by administrative teams and business owners in retail and wholesale. Reviewers value its multi-location inventory tracking and purchase order tools, though many cite slow performance and limited export controls. Advanced features like AI forecasting and a B2B portal support more complex operations.

Pleased with the overall operation of the program. The system is easy to navigate and simple to understand for the most part.
Pros: I like the functionality of the application overall. It offers several great features in even its most basic package. But has the ability to be expanded to cover any aspect of conducting your business. Plus they have excellent customer service who are always there with an answer.
Cons: I have noticed that is runs a little slow towards the end of the business day. But it is only a bit of a lag nothing that makes it unuseable.

Overall, it’s a solid solution for businesses that need strong inventory control and multi-channel integration. Once set up properly, it becomes a reliable system that reduces manual work and improves accuracy. It may take some time to fully understand all features, but it’s worth it for growing businesses managing multiple sales channels.
Pros: The inventory and order management features are very robust. It handles multi-channel sales quite well, especially when integrated with platforms like Shopify and accounting tools. Automation is a big plus things like stock updates, order syncing, and invoicing save a lot of manual effort. Reporting is also detailed, which helps in tracking stock levels and business performance.
Cons: There is definitely a learning curve, especially during the initial setup. The interface can feel a bit cluttered at times, and some workflows are not very intuitive. Occasionally, there are small bugs or syncing delays, particularly when dealing with high order volumes. Customer support is helpful but response times can vary.

We’ve been using Cin7 Core for our inventory and order management, and overall it has been a solid solution for our business over the last 6 months or so. One of the biggest strengths of Cin7 Core is its ability to centralize multiple functions—inventory tracking, order management, and integrations with accounting platforms—into one system. This has helped streamline our operations and improve visibility across our workflows. The reporting features are also helpful for gaining insights into stock levels and performance. The onboarding experience was positive, especially with support from the Solutions Architect team. They were knowledgeable, responsive, and instrumental in helping us understand how to best configure the system for our needs.
Pros: The Solutions Architect team—and [sensitive content hidden] in particular—were fantastic to work with. [sensitive content hidden] is highly knowledgeable and did an excellent job clearly explaining our challenges and the available solutions in a way that was easy to understand and act on. His commitment to equipping us with the right tools and setup to keep our business running smoothly has been invaluable. We truly appreciate his guidance and the time he took to walk us through our options.
Cons: There are areas where the platform could improve. Customer support can sometimes be slow, particularly when dealing with urgent issues. Having access to a real-time support option, like a live chat or hotline, would make a big difference. Additionally, occasional system quirks and delays in syncing can be frustrating and require follow-up. I wish Cin7 offered a support hotline for immediate assistance. I submitted a ticket, but the response was routed to a different team member, which caused delays in addressing and resolving our issue.

Pros: easily functioning and user capabilities are user friendly. Ability to locate and identify/purchase orders and such
Cons: The inability to cost directly to "Projects" in QuickBooks , help desk or phone # not available to get quick information to resolve issues

The system is easy to use and has lots of flexible features and functions. It is great to link to Shopify and Xero.
Pros: We like the ease to split backorders for warehouse stock and drop shipping. Also a great price for lots of features and functionality.
Cons: We are new to Cin7 Core so still learning the system. So far it seems good and the onboarding process was thorough.

A very positive experience overall—Cin7 Core is a powerful platform, and the personalized, patient support made all the difference. [sensitive content hidden] took the time to understand our business and ensure the system truly works for our needs, not just a one-size-fits-all setup which has been our experience in the past.
Pros: What stood out most was the level of support. [sensitive content hidden] was absolutely incredible—super patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping us succeed. He didn’t just walk us through generic features; he took the time to understand our specific business needs and showed us how to best utilize Cin7 Core in a way that truly works for our operations. That level of personalized guidance made a huge difference.
Cons: Like many robust systems, there is a learning curve at the beginning. It can feel a bit overwhelming at first, but with the right support (like what we experienced with [sensitive content hidden] ), it becomes much more manageable.

Pros: The value of this inventory system was highly justifiable, given that its cost was half that of another system with roughly the same capabilities. Overall, the insights that this will provide, as well as the processes that it will automate, are going to be a key factor for our growth as a business. I really like the ease of use and well-designed layout/navigation. I also LOVE the resources you provide to walk users through processes such as creating an assembly/purchase order. This will be a huge help when our employees use it.
Cons: The only "frustrating" part I ran into was importing CSV files if the title was changed at all, but that was mainly user error. Aside from that, it took a lot of work to get all of our sku's into the system, but once again, that wasn't anything Cin7 could control and was a necessary cost to get started, considering we had no inventory system before this.

Much less glitchy than Omni, but still some limitations and functionality not working as well as they could
Pros: The technical support seems to understand the program very well, and are able to give answers and solutions on the spot. [sensitive content hidden] was knowledgeable and patient, and arranged a call very quickly
Cons: Functionality limitations that we are discussing directly with the developers. A few reporting changes would vastly improve our workflow.

Pros: so far so excellent. onboarding is great, my rep [sensitive content hidden] is awesome and very knowledgeable. the software does exactly what it claims it can do. after dealing with one vendor that provided false promises, CIN7 is the tool we needed all along.
Cons: group onboarding moves at a standard pace, not the pace of our business needed. Could have additional onboarding support after 4 week project plan.

Excellent tool. It is really helpful and include AI support as well. Security set up done very well.
Pros: Easy to use and value for money. Great customer support. I really enjoyed the inventory management tool.
Cons: I waited for a one week to get my invitation. Can you please easier the customer support system quicker.

Quick and excellent service
Pros: Quickly fixed a template issue. No need for additional details. Done within 5 minutes. Amazing service.
Cons: Non Applicable

While the basic functions are there, the lack of flexibility in managing delivery and shipping schedules makes it difficult to adapt to real-world operations. The support team is great, but the system needs improvement in this area.
Pros: The help center responded very quickly whenever we had issues, and their support was helpful and efficient.
Cons: It is inconvenient that we cannot manage detailed delivery schedules. For example, purchase orders are consolidated into one in the system, but in reality, items arrive in multiple shipments. Similarly, sales orders are also grouped as one, but in practice, we ship in several batches. There is no way to manage these split deliveries and shipments, which creates operational challenges.
Torisawa N. · Customer Service Representative · Medical Devices · November 19, 2025
Despite the expense, we see our return already especially in traceability. It leaves a trail on everything done on the system.
Pros: Cin7 Core is the ideal IMS for a modern entity dealing with extensive inventory. The FEFO costing method is ideal for medtech and pharmaceutical companies. We worked with a great team of individuals who guided us and ensured that we setup the system to our needs successfully. [sensitive content hidden] from the Solutions Architect Team did a great job at ensuring that we don’t give up on the implementation as this process can be quite challenging. [sensitive content hidden] from the customer success team was also great at ensuring that we get help from the right people within Cin7. In my opinion, the success of Cin7 is largely because of the support they give with great turnaround times.
Cons: It lacks native integration with Wix a relatively common e-commerce platform in Africa. It can also get quite expensive quickly.

Pros: Inventory Management... [sensitive content hidden] was AMAZING in helping with a issue on our account. I am doing cartwheels as I have been trying to get help with this your a long time. [sensitive content hidden] was able to get me fixed
Cons: Hard to navigate if only using for inventory management. I dont like that I do not know this system as well as I would like to. as i am only using one aspect of the software
Pamala A. · Owner · Consumer Goods · November 6, 2025
[sensitive content hidden] was great today on our call.
Pros: Ability to create PO automatically from invoice.
Cons: bad integration with Xero.

Wonderful, and Training sessions were the best thing about the Cin7. The best thing that we liked was the onboarding program, which is well-designed, and Jinesh is the best instructor.
Pros: functionality and interface. Cin7 has the best interface to use for any new users. I have used a couple of these inventory management software, but Cin7 is the best.
Cons: Nothing to dislike here, I would recommend everybody to use Cin7. Cin7 has the best onboarding program that will put your worries to ease.

So far, so good, we have met with great success working with [sensitive content hidden]and his after support team, a true pleasure
Pros: Here’s the text from the image you uploaded: --- ** [sensitive content hidden] and his team are fantastic** I was on the fence about keeping Cin7 (we have a strange product Matrix). [sensitive content hidden] and his team took the time to understand us as a business and then fix out Cin7. The outcome has been great so far with us finally having some faith in our data. The knowledge, thought process, follow-up and dedication have truly made a difference for our business. Cheers Happy customer ---
Cons: It needed a lot of setup, which took a while. Admittedly, we have a much complex and well-developed product, Maxtrix, which required us to make a broad spectrum approach

So far great - the onboarder [sensitive content hidden] in support have all been excellent experiences thus far. First impressions last and they have set the bar very high for CiN7.
Pros: My first experience with CiN7 - so far seems great. Many features and attributes seem intutitive and flexible. Onboarding and product support has been very good and responsive.
Cons: Cant say much now - we are going through onboarding and just getting warmed up. I think CiN7 Help center SEARCH needs improvement and documentation is verbose and sometimes not clear enough to allow for decision making in terms of what to enter in the fields.
Raj K. · VP Operations · Pharmaceuticals · October 17, 2025
Generally well. We have very few issues and if we do I find the support team very helpful and relatively quick to respond even with the time difference.
Pros: Muditha really understood the issues we were facing and found the source of the problem which I would never have found without her help.
Cons: Sync issues with Xero Wish I could alter the average cost of a product without the phaff of exporting and importing again

I think the Cin7 system has great flexibility and capability, so even though it is taking longer than we initially hoped to get ourselves up and running, I feel confident that once we get the system fully in place it will greatly improve our business. It has things I didn't even know I wanted in an inventory system! And the fact that they give you the option to have an On-Boarding person is great because you get to learn all the tricks that can lead to better outcomes in the future.
Pros: The functionality of Cin7 is fantastic. It is really helping us get out inventory system fine tuned and will help us track and get our purchasing in line with the ability to finally run real reports on our sales and inventory. The on boarding was extremely helpful to getting a jump start on using the system most effectively. [sensitive content hidden] has been very helpful with getting us up and running even though it took us a bit longer than the standard window, she has guided us through the process skillfully and a cheerful attitude.
Cons: Our main issue with Cin7 has mostly been related to trying to get all of our product loaded into the system which we have had to do more of it manually than we were hoping for but as our company has been around for 40 years with little inventory management and our list of product is extremely extensive, I'm not sure if this could have been avoided. Fortunately the system has many tools to help us make the process easier such as the spreadsheets that can be uploaded to make bulk adjustments.
Gretchen H. · Warehouse Operations Manager · Retail · October 7, 2025
Pros: Great Customer support, I needed to troubleshoot a sale process and the help support was very attentive and clear insturctions
Cons: Not sure yet, I have only used it for 1 month. I think it is going to be a learning curve for sure so I don't have one thing in particular yet.

Al round I would describe my experience with Cin7 as very positive. For the most part it is intuitive and easy to navigate and understand. When used properly it makes my life super easy
Pros: Customer support is awesome. They are fast reliable and extremely knowledgeable. The y have consistently solved my issues in a timeous and professional manner
Cons: Slightly bulky for single store retailers. For some reason retail prices, costs, barcodes and SKU's don't sync to Shopify and have to be manually corrected in Shopify.

Experience has been great overall. Customer support is very helpful, particularly from [sensitive content hidden] who has always been available to assist.
Pros: I like how Cin7 Core pulls everything together in one platform. The Shopify and Xero integrations save so much time and make tracking stock across channels simple.
Cons: Some parts of the system aren’t the most user-friendly, so some tasks can take longer than they should.

Above the primal expectations
Pros: possibility to integrate WooCommerce's. tracking stock availability..
Cons: None so far.
Mantas Z. · Logistics Manager · Retail · September 19, 2025
We went with a consultant to help with the initial onboarding, but were left holding the bag halfway through the process. We honestly have had so much success with the Cin7 Customer Support teams, specifically [sensitive content hidden] and his team. Thank you!
Pros: Extremely intuitive layout with exceptionally responsive support. Great value compared to other inventory management software, with the right native integrations for most businesses.
Cons: some of the integrations don't line up perfectly (as expected, but a guy can dream) to our specific needs.
