We have been using CIN7 for nearly 12 years and have grown with the product. Our experience has mostly been positive, and the application has grown with our business, allowing us to do most of what we need from POs and manufacturing, all the way through to quotes, sales invoices, and integration with our Xero accounting package.
Pros: It is a great platform for small-business inventory, sales, and POs. Costing, invoicing, and simple production jobs are all included, which rounds off most of what we need for the business. Easy integration to Xero for our accounting. Easy integration to Shopify for our B2B and B2C sites.
Cons: Generally, the support is quite limited and slow - they have lost all flexibility. Online chat has a limited understanding of the product, and since we have been using it for over 10 years, we tend to know more than they do. We stopped using their B2B site and also their POS software. Both were clunky and limited. Found alternatives through Shopify for both.

We have been using Cin7 Omni for the past 5 years, and overall our experience has been very positive. The platform has been reliable and scalable as our business has grown. One of the biggest advantages for us has been the API, which allowed us to build custom side applications and tailor the system to our specific workflows. This flexibility has made a significant impact on our operations.

Cons: Overall, there isn’t much we dislike about Cin7 Omni, as it has been working very well for our needs. If anything, some advanced customizations can require additional setup or workarounds, but nothing that significantly impacts our day-to-day operations.

Ever increasing costs for ever decreasing functionality and service. I have just submitted my notification of cancellation after 3 years using the system.
Pros: Cin7 showed a lot of promise early on being able to sync to multiple shopify stores. Interface of the system is user friendly.
Cons: Unfortunately my data including inventory levels and value conti ies to be corrupted. When Iraise these issues with Cim7 support they fix the issue but never share with you what the issue is in the back end. Support is slow and ticketed and often tickets go unresolved.

Cons: Time difference with our location delayed the resolution of my ticket. If Cin7 can match company locations with Cin7 support team locations, tickets would be resolved faster. However I have nothing else in mind for a Con.

Pros: The Support and how well the software works. I have full confidence in Cin7 Omni and look forward to the continued growth.
Cons: Not being able to create prefix # for orders. I would also like to delete old products of clients that we no longer are in business with.

My overall experience with CIN7 has been excellent. There are some areas that are not ideal but 95% of the program serves us well.
Pros: Cin7 is our central hub for our business where our ecomm and wholesale ordering systems connect. Order management and inventory management quite good although we are using a consignment model and the dashboard does not really support us well
Cons: I find that when creating branches for consignment the dashboard reports SOH and available stock of all branches which is misleading - consignment branches means our stock is located with customers - therefore the SOH and Avail stock should be shown on the dashboard by branch or at least for the main branch, minus consigned stock

Overall we love Cin7 and would be lost without the platform. We're mostly happy with the product but it would be great if they could address the intermittent performance issues and improve the help articles so they more clearly articulate what the "best practice" settings are when configuring the software for a typical business.
Pros: Cin7 Omni is packed with functionality and connects to all the common marketplaces we work with. The core functionality powers our eCommerce operations, inventory management and warehouse. The value delivered is significant and the capability would be hard to replicate with alternative solutions.
Cons: We have intermittent performance / loading issues with the system from time to time that usually resolve themselves within a minute or two and configuring the system correctly can be challenging given the level of flexibility the system has to adapt to your workflows but the support team are there to help guide you if you get stuck. I recently had a great interaction with [sensitive content hidden] in the support team when configuring my new Amazon Marketplace connection.

Pros: The help feature is excellent, with agents available within minutes and ready to assist you to the best of their ability.
Cons: Sometimes there are connection issues where orders don’t export properly, or the system shows that an order hasn’t exported even though it actually has, which can lead to further complications. Fortunately, [sensitive content hidden] was able to resolve this for me today.

Cin7 was great other than I needed specific functions that were not available yet although I believe they are available now.
Pros: Cin7 has a good user interface and is quite user friendly.
