DaVinci Resolve

Pros: DaVinci Resolve is one of the best video creation tools around, however you need to have previous experience in video creation to use it. This is a advance video creation system, from colour grading, project creation, and a wide selection of features that gives Hollywood style results. The customer support gives a large tutorial library that does require a lengthy learning period, while the value for money is also excellent, there is a free version that is easily uploaded, or the Davinci Studio which gives you more fancy features at a one time payment of around $500 all upgrades after are free. Like a lot of systems you can add a security password to protect all your work.

Cons: Has a lengthy learning curve, but the results are Hollywood style quality. The advance version being Davinci Studio with a much large selection of features available is a reasonably cost but at a one time payment with a life time upgrades for free the initial cost out weights the amount you are receiving.

Pros: Very well put together program. I use it often for my clients. Video editing on my iPad or laptop is seamless. The fact that the free version is still very powerful in comparison paid products including. The color grading tab is filled with lots of useful nodes, and fusion is cool for all the effects needed if you like nodes this the one. Projects are easy to see and create and the system is very secure. I haven’t noticed any glitching. Well written program. High performance and speed, I didn’t even experience any lag. I haven’t tried the customer service due to how stable the program is.

Cons: I wish you didn’t have to buy the software separate for iPad and laptop. There could be some new intuitive tools as far as UI design.

Pros: La version gratuite offre une grande parties des fonctionnalités et est performante. Le Workflow est top, montages, effet, audio, étalonnage et export dans un seul logiciel. Le montage vidéo complet et professionnel avec timeline flexible. L'outil d'étalonnage est de qualité professionnelle.

Cons: Le logiciel demande beaucoup de ressource , il faut un ordinateur puissant. Certaines fonctionnalités demandent un temps d'apprentissage assez long

Cons: 1) If you want to do anything more complicated than simple or intermediate video editing, there is as learning curve. In fairness, this is to be expected, but it does make some of the more advanced features a bit daunting to approach. The workaround: there is probably a tutorial for the thing you want to do on YouTube. 2) Customizing the interface is, for me, not as intuitive (or, in some cases, possible) as I'd like. I've learned to work around it, though. 3) This is a minor quibble. The jump from DR to DR Studio (the paid version) is $295. It would be nice if there was an intermediate level for those wanting some of the more advanced features (such as captioning) but not the full suite that is best suited for film production.

Pros: A lot of advanced and essential tools available on the free version. Supports most video and audio codecs. Heaps of export options.

Cons: Some basic things are harder to find or are more time consuming to do, compared to Vegas Pro. Some videos and audio will fail to import without explanation.

Pros: I have used multiple video editing software programs, and none have come close to the ease of use and power of DiVinci Resolve. I switched from Final Cut Pro due to the cost and because I needed something that works on both Windows and Apple Computers. This does it. I am very happy with this program.

Cons: Even though I love this program, I wish their sound editing were a little easier to use. This could be due to a lack of training in that area, but it's not as intuitive as I would like.

Pros: Davinci has incredibly powerful tools built into a user interface that is still usable for new editors. They provide educational videos on how to use those tools that are an unbelievable quality for a free product

Cons: davinci resolve has a steep learning curve. this is mitigated by a wide selection of informational videos, but can be intimidating for new users.

Pros: flexibility of the software as it contains Edit page , cur page , fusion tab and coloar page within itself .

Cons: 10 bit footage is not available in free version and fails to run 4k footage smoothly without proxies .

Cons: I think it needs more transitions but over all they are great. Granted I’m just a hobbyist and post my videos to my website and you tube.

Pros: Mi è piaciuto molto perchè è un sistema a 360 gradi e la semplicità di utilizzo , spaziando dall'editing al color grading

Cons: Sarei troppo arrogante nel dire che per il mio utilizzo PROFESSIONALE e NON , non ho trovato alcun difetto rilevante !? In 3 anni di utilizzo c'è tstato qualche crash sporadico ma forse dipendeva dal mio pc anche se molto performante ma non perdevo il lavoro visto che salva il tutto man mano.

Pros: It's one of the best for video editing. And the best for color grading. It's user friendly easy to understand.

Cons: Nothing much. I liked almost everything in this software. Just a few things are bit complex but when we use then 1-2 times we'll get hold of it.

Pros: Super complete software, you can tweak sound, pictures, colr grade and many more. Plus the economical model is really interesting as a only one payment. I recommend it

Cons: Complexity and unboarding. There are so many things that you can do that it can be overwhelming at first, even after quite some time of use.

Pros: DaVinci Resolve è un ottimo software di editing video, personalmente lo considero il migliore. Mi è piaciuto il fatto che, già con la versione gratuita, si possono fare moltissime cose, anche per un uso semiprofessionale. Apprezzo molto che sia composto in schede, sezione dedicate a diversi strumenti per l'editing; come per la creazione di grafiche ed effetti con "Fusion", l'editing e il mixaggio audio con "Fairelight" e la parte dedicata alla color correction con "Color".

Cons: Difficile da dire, da professionista lo ritengo di ottima qualità. L'unica cosa che potrei dire di negativo è che è capitato che crashasse in elaborazioni "pesanti" come quando ho utilizzato effetti grafici complessi con clip elaborate. Ma devo dire che è capitato raramente, e poi può capitare con qualsiasi software.

Pros: DaVinci Resolve is where I gain professional-level control over color correction, which is critical for the kind of documentary and storytelling work we create. I appreciate that it’s a single platform, combining editing, color, audio and effects.

Cons: There was a steep learning curve at first, particularly with color grading tools, so it took some time to unleash its power.

Pros: Finally color correction and editing in a single pro option. Unlike competitors, the package here is really complete and easy to manage.

Cons: I would like to have a better system for editing audio. The audio section could also be implemented with a dedicated sound archive

Pros: La cosa che più mi ha colpito è che la versione gratuita offre strumenti che altri software fanno pagare a caro prezzo. Si può fare montaggio, correzione colore, effetti visivi e mixaggio audio senza spendere un centesimo. DaVinci Resolve nasce come software di color grading, e si vede. La gestione del colore è di livello cinematografico, con strumenti come i nodes, le curves e il color match che permettono di ottenere look professionali senza troppi giri di parole. A differenza di altri software che ti costringono a esportare l’audio per mixarlo altrove, Resolve ha Fairlight, un vero e proprio studio di post-produzione audio integrato. È un po’ complesso all’inizio, ma una volta presa la mano diventa una risorsa potentissima. Se hai un buon PC o un Mac con una scheda grafica potente, Resolve vola. Supporta il GPU acceleration, il che significa rendering più veloce e una timeline più fluida rispetto ad altri software.

Cons: Non è un software plug & play: se vieni da Premiere o Final Cut, ti servirà un po’ di tempo per abituarti alla sua logica. Alcuni strumenti sono incredibili, ma poco intuitivi per chi non ha esperienza. Se hai un computer con una scheda grafica datata o poca RAM, preparati a rallentamenti e crash. Resolve sfrutta molto la GPU, quindi senza una scheda video decente potrebbe non essere il massimo. Gestione dei file e proxy un po’ macchinosa se lavori con file 4K pesanti, devi stare attento alla gestione dei proxy, che non è così immediata come su Premiere. Serve un po’ di smanettamento per impostare tutto al meglio.

Pros: Mi piace molto la facilità con cui efffettuare il montaggio video e l'editing audio.

Cons: Alcune funzionalità avanzate non sono cosi semplici se non si ha esperienza con il prodotto.
