Siteminder is a good platform until you have an issue. We have a current issue that originally occurred in July 2024 and was rectified. The issue appeared again in November 2024 and after the initial report to Siteminder in December we are still waiting after 2-1/2 months for a solution to a simple coding problem. We need to utilise our staff to manually do what the program should do automatically costing us time and money however Siteminder are still charging full invoice rate.
Pros: Reasonably efficient platform with good access.
Cons: Ease of use.

Cons: support can be hard to connect with. would be brilliant if there were account managers that you can connect with to assist.

Consistently excellent, particularly with chat agents such as [sensitive content hidden]. Always responsive and capable of addressing any inquiries I have or providing assistance with the challenges I encounter.
Pros: * Easy to use * I love the insights tab because it offers us a wealth of information * The 24/7 live chat feature facilitates prompt access to answers.
Cons: The updated version. I still favor the previous Siteminder version. There is nothing else significant aside from the above mentioned

my experience was relay good. [sensitive content hidden] was amazing with knowledge and with my queries she did short out one by one. [sensitive content hidden] very calm and softly spoken and also make you understand how SiteMinder works.
Pros: Quick reply with my queries. very knowledgeable customer service. very easy to use. user friendly. And support ant time.
Cons: Mapping issue and rate code difficult to understand some time. also you can not discount entry level room if you need to discount.

Abigail fue concisa y rápida en atender el problema que tenía y lo resolvió en poco tiempo lo que me permite seguir con mis pendientes.
Pros: Que es fácil de usar la herramienta, es muy intuitiva, tiene una cartera muy amplia de agencias con las que se puede colaborar.
Cons: Que no siempre hay agentes que no sean virtuales disponibles y a veces el agente virtual no entiende lo que se necesita.

Pros: The quick responses in the chat from the SiteMinder team. Friendliness of support staff. Ease of stop sells for multiple channels.
Cons: There needs to be a log on the user side to see when changes have been made, i.e., when stop sells are activated for room types and by who, who created room types, when inventory updates were last received

It's been mixed but as long as the issues between the CM and the channels, and the permission granting are better supported, we would be completely satisfied
Pros: There's 24/7 human assistance, and the agents are very pleasant. And they help as much as they can. The website is very intuitive.
Cons: We dont get assistance regarding issues that need contact between Siteminder and the channels, like a connectivity issue we've been experiencing with Expedia.

Pros: Getting used to using site platform. Mapping rates and channels is easy enough and when needed support staff is super friendly.
Cons: Need to add a way to display stay restriction in place on distribution grid without having to search for them. Adding a small icon may help.

Cons: Sometimes the channel name on a booking gets changed when the reservation is interfaced to Opera. This causes confusion for the front office team, as the original source of the booking becomes unclear such as Trip.com changed to TIP. Ensuring that the correct channel name remains consistent during the interface process would improve accuracy and operational efficiency.

SiteMinder has significantly improved our e-commerce workflow and reduced the risk of overbookings or pricing errors. The automation and connectivity are strong, and the system has become an essential part of our daily operations. While there’s room for improvement in reporting and training support, SiteMinder remains one of the most reliable tools we use.
Pros: I especially appreciate the seamless integration with our PMS and OTA partners. The centralized dashboard makes rate and inventory updates extremely efficient, saving us hours of manual work daily.
Cons: the system can lag during high-traffic periods, and the analytics dashboard could be more intuitive with deeper insights and visualizations. Additionally, the onboarding process was a bit overwhelming at first for junior staff.

Easy to use and meets all expectations. Onboarding was good with knowlegable resources. Siteminder went the extra mile to assist us with onboarding with a distribution partner. Every time i have interacted with the support team it has been a pleasure.
Pros: Since the time we were 'live' I have found the platform very easy to use, I like the UI it is self explanatory and the sync to partners is nice and quick.
Cons: Haven't found any cons with the platform, granted we are fairly new to Siteminder but so far everything has been great :)

Very easy to use, very quick to update and add channels, the siteminder team are extremely fast at coming back to assist
Pros: Very efficient, very easy to use and never an issue when i need assistance, [sensitive content hidden] has looked after me several times.
Cons: Not much, when changing codes and channels can become difficult to do alone but the team are always there to help. The sim doesn't always have the answers.

It's been fair. There have been some ups and downs but all i can say is that the insights page has been a great help.

Por lo general suelo tener buena experia puede que a veces debido a la diferencia horaria, el contacto con soporte no es lo más rapido de respuesta. Hay veces que he tenido que esperar más de dos horas en el chat según el horario en que escribí.
Pros: Siempre me ha gustado como channel manager, siendo práctico y facil de utilizar. Es dinámico y atractivo visualmente.
Cons: Lo que menos me ha gustado es el servicio de Motor de reservas, creo que sigue siendo extremadamente básico para una empresa como ustedes.
