This is our third attempt at building sustainable end-to-end test coverage, and the first one that has actually worked. Before partnering with QA Wolf, we were dealing with a steady increase in production bugs and recurring regressions, and our engineers were constantly being pulled away from feature work to triage and fix them. QA Wolf is helping reverse that dynamic. They have surfaced many pre-existing defects in our applications that prior testing efforts had missed, regressions are now caught before they reach customers, and our engineers are back to focusing on building product. Almost four months in, they feel like an embedded part of our team and have become a partner we wish we had brought on much sooner.
Pros: Their customer support is one the most responsive we have experienced from any vendor. We work with them entirely over Slack, and we get real human responses at any hour of the day. On the test management side, they own scripting, execution, and triage end to end, and when a test fails they immediately determine whether it is a real product bug or a test that needs updating, so our engineers never have to interpret results themselves. Throughput on scripting has consistently exceeded the original commitment. They have already authored most of the budgeted tests and are tracking to 80% of the budget ahead of plan.
Cons: Honestly, very little. The only friction was early in the engagement, when we were still aligning their workflow with ours. A few iterations were needed on their Asana and GitHub integrations before everything felt seamless. They handled every request quickly, so even that did not become a real pain point.

Our overall experience has been outstanding. Over the past six months, QA Wolf has significantly strengthened our testing discipline and improved our release confidence. They’ve helped us move toward a more automated, reliable QA process without adding internal overhead. Their team is proactive, transparent, and focused on delivering measurable results. We’ve seen tangible improvements in coverage, defect detection, and deployment confidence. I would absolutely recommend them to any company looking to scale quality assurance in a structured and sustainable way.
Pros: What stood out most about QA Wolf was their ability to take full ownership of our test automation strategy and execute at a very high level. Their team is responsive, technically strong, and extremely process-driven. They don’t just write tests — they think through edge cases, failure scenarios, and long-term maintainability. The speed at which they built meaningful coverage and the consistency of their communication have been exceptional. It truly feels like an extension of our internal engineering team.
Cons: There honestly hasn’t been much to dislike. As with any external partnership, there was an initial ramp-up period while they learned our product and workflows, but that process was structured and efficient. Once they were up to speed, the collaboration has been seamless.

As a software developer with a preference for the frontend of things, I greatly appreciate QA Wolf's diligence in spotting new visual differences and pointing them out as potential issues, not yet opening a bug report until they have heard confirmation from one of us. We are in the midst of many large projects that greatly affect the trajectory of the company, so the speed at which they detect bugs in our current projects is an immense help.
Pros: The automation of our client-side test suite is what makes QA Wolf shine. They catch regressions before our users even have time to notice them! Their quick response times to all communication also stands out as a highly desired trait.
Cons: Bug reports sometimes remain open due to irrelevant flows not passing. This isn't a very common occurrence, but it does happen from time to time.

Pros: QA Wolf found at least 30 hidden bugs within our insurance application management system that otherwise would have taken hundreds of hours to find. Plus, QA Wolf allowed our company to take the burden of testing off of our employees and allow them to do their actual job instead.
Cons: A handful of flows created by QA Wolf were sometimes not functioning correctly, but the team promptly addressed concerns and fixed the flows very quickly.

Overall, our experience with QA Wolf has been very positive. They deliver high-quality, reliable test automation and operate with a strong partnership mindset. While early expectations around test creation speed needed alignment, the team was transparent, receptive to feedback, and ultimately delivered on their commitments. The biggest value comes from their ownership of test maintenance and investigation, which meaningfully reduces regression effort and improves release confidence. QA Wolf feels less like a vendor and more like an extension of our QA/QE team, and we’ve continued to expand the partnership as value became clear.
Pros: High-quality, maintainable end-to-end tests that meaningfully replace manual regression—not shallow automation. Strong communication and a true partnership mindset; the team feels like an extension of our QA/QE organization. Clear ownership of test maintenance, flake investigation, and reporting, which keeps the signal reliable and actionable. Transparent delivery and realistic planning once expectations were aligned. Flexible commercial model that allows test coverage to evolve as product priorities change.
Cons: Early expectations around test creation speed were set more aggressively during the sales cycle than what delivery could realistically support. ROI modeling required clarification and deeper alignment on assumptions to be truly meaningful for our operating model. Test velocity ramps up over time as domain knowledge is built, so value is strongest after the initial onboarding period rather than immediately.

We had a large pile of tests that we were doing manually once a month. We were slowly automating them one by one, but we just didn't have the man-power to do such quickly while keeping up with everything else. We were able to hand off the entire list to QA-Wolf, and they automated all the tests with surprisingly minimal oversight and time from me within a few months
Pros: Three things: 1. They take ownership of the tasks they're given. If something feels or appears wrong, even if it's not something explicitly discussed or outlined, they'll take the time to reach out and clarify that the features they're testing are working as intended. 2. Staying on top of the tests themselves and fixing them if they break. 3. We get to own the tests that were written if/when we decide to part ways
Cons: What’s considered a “test” that gets charged for is smaller than what I would normally intuit. This is something I expected coming into this service. And ultimately, I understand the approach from their perspective. Nonetheless, I’m occasionally taken aback when I pitch something as three or four tests. But then they come back and say, “No, we need to break this up into ten tests”.

QA Wolf has been a valuable partner in our testing efforts, primarily due to their exceptional customer support. While the service provides significant benefits, there's a slight area for improvement regarding bug detection accuracy.
Pros: The customer support provided by QA Wolf is truly outstanding. Whenever we've encountered questions, needed clarification, or required assistance, their team has been incredibly responsive, knowledgeable, and proactive.
Cons: Occasionally, we've encountered false positive bugs in the test reports. But the quick response from QA Wolf team allows us to clarify any inconvenient.

Our overall experience has been outstanding. QA Wolf has become an extension of our team, helping us improve our testing coverage, reliability, and confidence in every release. Their proactive communication and dedication make them a valuable partner we can always rely on.
Pros: It’s not just a tool — it’s a full team behind it. The QA Wolf team truly partners with us to automate our tests efficiently. They’ve significantly reduced our team’s workload, and thanks to them, everyone now trusts the automated tests. QA Wolf helps us catch errors early and prevent issues from reaching production.
Cons: There isn’t really anything negative to say. Since it’s a collaborative process, it takes coordination between both teams, but QA Wolf does an excellent job keeping all test cases up to date and aligned with our changes.

Overall, I believe QA wolf as a platform as well as the QA wolf team are a great addition to our team. They are very useful in our day to day.
Pros: QA wolf is a great tool to quickly stay on top of features that we might not be totally focused on at the moment. Very quick to report bugs and issues they find and great communication within the teams when there are doubts or things that might need to be changed or addressed quickly. We receive weekly reports which is great in order to keep track of things we might miss or haven't prioritized.
Cons: I think it is a great tool and very easy to use for our team when a run is needed so really haven't found anything I dislike.
Maria Carolina P. · Manual QA Engineer · Information Technology and Services · October 1, 2025
My overall experience with QA Wolf has been awesome. They are extremely helpful and have built a really cool product. They’ve helped us feel more confident when releasing new code and are always friendly and supportive whenever we need them.
Pros: There are two things that I really enjoy the most about QA Wolf. First, the response time when tests fail. They’re really quick to respond and alert us when workflows are failing. Second is the ability for us to run automated tests not just in our static testing environments, but also in ephemeral environments. This is huge for my team because it means we can catch breaking changes earlier in the development process.
Cons: I don’t really have anything that I dislike about QA Wolf. I would say that it would be nice if users could have the ability to mark a run as a test run or something similar, so that the QA Wolf team knows not to start alerting people when things fail. This is helpful if I’m deploying a branch to an environment to test my changes and might expect failures. It would help avoid unnecessary alerts and threads.

My experience with QA Wolf has been positive. It's an easy-to-use platform, and the team is always very attentive and knowledgeable, which makes a significant difference.
Pros: QA Wolf offers a user-friendly platform that simplifies test automation. Their deep case analysis results in stable tests, and their attentive team quickly addresses any failures. It's incredibly convenient that they handle both the execution and maintenance of all test cases.
Cons: The only improvement I'd suggest is the addition of an instant reporting mechanism, and I know the team is already working on implementing this feature.

It’s been super smooth. The service feels like an extension of our team, and it’s given us way more confidence in shipping quickly without sacrificing quality.
Pros: I love how hands-off it feels. The QA Wolf team handles all the heavy lifting, and we just get clear results that make it easy to trust our releases. The make good catches often.
Cons: Nothing major to be honest. Sometimes I wish I had more time to dive deeper into the tests myself, but honestly it’s nice that I don’t have to.

QA Wolf has been a great addition to our testing capabilities. Our existing UI test automation suite was slow and cumbersome to work with, and QA Wolf came in and ported all of our test suite over into their system in an amazingly short amount of time. We now have a reliable test framework on both Android and iOS, and are working with QA Wolf to covert more manual tests to automated.
Pros: QA Wolf created an automated test suite for our app quickly. They were able to get a number tests created in a short amount of time. In addition, they've been proactively communicating with us the entire way - making sure we are getting the results we want, and finding ways to improve upon the tests.
Cons: Like most UI test automation suites, running the tests can be slow and results can take awhile. The cost-per-test business model is interesting and can take a bit to get used to, but has its own advantages.
Brian M. · Software Engineer · Consumer Services · September 23, 2025
The product is a boon to our development workflow & CI pipelines. It's notoriously difficult to setup test in a blockchain environment where each change to the distributed ledger is immutable, and can be very cumbersome to create & maintain those tests. QA wolf takes care of the hard part of doing that for us so we can focus on what's most important which is shipping features to our customers quickly.
Pros: It helps to automate the hard part of writing tests in an extremely difficult environment to test in (blockchain industry). This in turn lets us focus on shipping features and keep our teams velocity up while bolstering our confidence in the changes that go out to our customers.
Cons: Nothing! They make an incredibly useful & intuitive product! I have no real bad things to say about QA Wolf!
Ahmed H. · Staff Software Engineer · Financial Services · September 22, 2025
Pros: QA Wolf has been a reliable partner in helping us build out automated regression testing for our SFCC sites. Their team stands out for their clear communication, consistent reliability, and collaborative spirit. Even though we’re still in the process of expanding our test suite, we’ve already seen a reduction in manual testing effort, which is a great early indicator of the value automation will bring to our QA process. They’ve been responsive, easy to work with, and proactive in surfacing issues and opportunities. I’ve appreciated how seamlessly they’ve integrated with our team and adapted to our needs. Excited to continue building on this foundation together.
Cons: Given the scope and complexity of our coverage, there have been a few moments where expectations or decisions weren’t fully clear, leading to some minor confusion. But these instances have been understandable and are improving as we continue to align and refine how we work together.

Nothing but good things to say to us: - Extremely responsive - Grasped the concept of our business despite it being complicated and a heavily regulated industry
Pros: - Extremely responsive - Very thorough with their work - Helped save us time on QA and automations and releases
Cons: - None honestly. It's been a completely positive experience and I have nothing negative to say about our engagement.
Charles L. · Product Manager · Financial Services · September 17, 2025
Pros: The customer support is incredible at QA Wolf! They are very responsive and professional. They make test management a breeze.
Cons: There are times that I am not sure how much the test suites are being maintained - for example, I suspect we have some redundancies. I would appreciate hearing about them being proactive about this.
Chandra G. · Test Automation Engineer · Defense & Space · September 17, 2025
Overall we are pretty happy with our experience with QA Wolf. They have helped up expedite our QA cycles by automating what was once a bunch of QA engineers manually testing things over and over again. This saves money and time. We are happy.
Pros: The tool QA Wolf has built to handle all things QA is advanced and user friendly. It is nice to be able to see our test suite, coverage, runs, timing, etc.. all in one place. We also really appreciate how responsive their team is. We have a slack channel with our account rep and a couple of their engineers and a message in there never goes more than a couple minutes without a response, even on nights and weekends.
Cons: It is not super easy to get them a mobile build to be tested. I think this is somewhere they could improve a little.
John C. · Staff Engineer · Information Technology and Services · September 16, 2025
It's been amazing, they are reliable, they have helped us catch bugs going into production, have found edge cases. Going into production is not as stressful as it used to be.Also, they are very nice and fun people to talk and work with!
Pros: I don't have to follow on failing tests since they are on top of it. They are diligent with tests and find cases that we haven't though of. Tests are reliable. Tests are easy to read and platform easy to use.
Cons: I wish I could have infinite budget for tests. Sometimes I feel like we have duplicates in workflows and that uses our budget.
Barbara D. · QA lead · Entertainment · September 15, 2025
QAWolf have worked as collaborators with us on our test automation project. They were quick to understand the domaini and adapted quickly to our input on their first deliverables. They are also very flexible on the way we can provide requirements and feedback which makes it easy for us. They have provided value in the way that they have managed their role in the release test cycle.
Pros: They are very responsive to our needs both in communication and in deliverables. They spend time understanding our requirements and follow-up regulary on what's working and what needs improving. It's easy to communicate our requirements and updates with them as they are willing to take input in many modalities. They are quick to report issues that are found in testing and they collaborate actively in managing the bugs as well as test assets.
Cons: That's hard to say as they adapt quickly to any of our inputs. Whenver we come across an area of imrpovement we can share with them in our regular catch-up's and it gets address.
Sunny G. · QA Analyst · Telecommunications · September 14, 2025
QAW has helped make it easier for us to create and maintain an E2E automated test suite. We just need to do what we do best which is understand our customers and build the best product we can build to serve them. We explain to QAW what we're trying to do and that we are trying to do it with high quality and then they take us to the finish line with the E2E test.
Pros: QA Wolf has helped with our automated test coverage. Bugs and regressions are bad however it's a great feeling to know you caught one before a customer ever experienced it. For example a QAW test that was working all of a sudden failed in our dev environment and we notified a dev to fix the issue they introduced before it is released to our customers. I like that we have daily tests that run and even hourly for the really sensitive things. We can add more tests to make sure we have enough coverage. Getting a coverage request started is easy and the team lets you know everything they need to take it to the finish line. The team is really engaged and will respond then loop in the relevant subject matter experts if needed.
Cons: Not necessarily a negative but part of change at every company: We've had a great experience with the folks on our account but that can always change as people grow and move on. Sometimes you can tell when a newer QAW teammate has joined as they have to learn the product before they can properly identify bugs within it. On the opposite side, the folks who know our product really stand out in what they're able to catch and flag for us. We really hope they're around for the long haul because we're going to keep growing and need their help. I can't speak to the cost however I feel we are getting great value and our account manager is frequently meeting with us to push us to keep sending them tests to write for us.
Justin K. · Sr. QA Engineer · Computer Software · September 2, 2025
Pros: The QA Wolf team is consistently quick to answer questions, and are incredibly pleasant and professional to work with.
Cons: Sometimes test build-outs/alterations do not have explicit timelines, which can make future planning difficult.
Maya D. · Product Manager · Computer Software · August 26, 2025
Outstanding experience. During our pilot of 3 months it became very clear the value it would add for us. From the first interaction to our current relationship, I would give a 5 out of 5.
Pros: $73
Cons: Nothing really to add here. We have been working with them for several months and all of our interactions have been positive.
Alberto S. · Chief Technology Officer · Computer Software · August 13, 2025
Fantastic - QA wolf is a valued partner to our team, and has saved our skin many many times. The team responds quickly and around the clock.
Pros: Smart team, quick to provide customer support. Saves us a TON of time since we just don't need to have QA staff on-site.
Cons: The overnight suite can be slow to run (this is partially our own fault though, and the team is very proactive to fix)
Luis M. · Director · Financial Services · June 11, 2025
We chose QA Wolf because we wanted to make more confident changes to our product - we had too many bugs and too much time spent on manual testing. They rapidly covered our fundamental use cases with automated tests, using a combination of their advice and our documented manual test steps. Since then, we have integrated them into our pipelines, added iOS tests, and changed priorities multiple times, with QA Wolf changing the test suite to match this.
Pros: I like their communication. They are proactive about getting project and priority updates. They are also very fast to respond to any queries, and really take the time to help you.
Cons: Can't run test workflows in parallel, and test that switch between web apps and mobile apps are slower than I'd like
