I am very pleased it's easy to use and provides upscaling opportunity. I think some basic systems for students to acces their spaces or files after the lesson would be good
Pros: Very convenient and seems to work quite smoothly, I didn't experience any issues, so reliable. There are some tools to be suitable with maybe more primary school teaching
Cons: The tool sets need to be broader, more table type tools and organisers to make things easier , text input tool is not very smart.

Lessonspace made online lessons organized and interactive. The whiteboard and collaboration tools were very useful.
Pros: Lessonspace is a very effective platform for online teaching. It is easy to upload documents and share your screen. The students love to be able to right on the screen and participate fully.
Cons: Some tools felt harder to learn than expected overall. The students can be overwhelmed with all the tools.

I don't like it, it's too limited in functionality, and isn't good for younger learners. I would much rather use a different platform. Its limitations are frustrating and far outweigh the positives
Pros: The whiteboard features, being able to have multiple tabs open. Having a chat function as well as microphone, the bare bones functionality is okay
Cons: You can't access the lesson you have scheduled from within the Primary Tutoring Platform - you have export the file and then upload it into a new lesson - very time consuming and inefficient. Lack of resources, very hard to use interactively with younger learners You can't embed video or animations There are only two games available No way to save the room after the lesson has ended It records everything, even the sessions where I'm setting up I can't organise my different lessons into subfolders, e.g. one per student I'm working with, they're just in a big mess on the homepage I can't access recordings of my lessons

Really good value for money personally. I enjoy how I have separate lesson spaces for each of my students, so it makes my lessons a lot easier.
Pros: Lessonspace is good as it's easy for me to teach my lessons on Lessonspace. I am able to deliver content with the tools that Lessonspace provides.
Cons: Sometimes, the connection can be bad. Particularly for my students. I also don't understand how to give my students editing permissions on the lesson space.

Pros: It's easy to use when it works. From the beginning with sharing an invitation and entering a space for a meeting, it's very straightforward and user-friendly. There are many helpful features, like the library for accessing any documents that I'd like to use or even add myself, and cobrowser.
Cons: Cobrowser works when it works-which is not always. Frequently the page refreshes automatically in such a way that you need to re-sign in on a website every 20 minutes.

Good overall! I think as I get more comfortable with it I'm really going to enjoy using it a lot, but there are some small improvements I'd like.
Pros: Its super easy to connect with students and the multiple tabs make organizing my spaces very easy and convenient.
Cons: I think the whiteboard could use more text options. Its a shame that I can't do simple things like bullet points or adjusting the color of individual words for emphasis.

It's definitely been a time saver. Occasionally, students have issues joining sessions, but overall it's a great tool!
Pros: Simplicity and scalability. I like how I can also see who's active during a session. I like the overall design
Cons: Cannot simply copy a lesson link from Teachworks. Need to open it and then copy from Lessonspace. I would prefer deeper integrations with Teachworks.

I just wish it worked more smoothly and were easier to see. It's a great idea, but it doesn't function on-the-go as well as it needs to for me, regardless of wifi or cellular data.
Pros: It's a great concept and has a lot of great tools. It's nice that you can upload documents and share screens.
Cons: It's not well mobile-optimized and is very hard to see when someone is sharing their screen. It doesn't seem like it has the ability to share screen from the phone either. Sometimes it mutes me or crashes or lags when I try to switch to another tab, and it drains the battery a lot and tries to make the phone quite hot, even for an iPhone.

Pros: I started using Lessonspace a month ago and I am so pleased I did. First of all, my students and I enjoy the whiteboard tools so much that I incorporate them every time now. No internal bugs, no interruptions.
Cons: I cannot think of features that I truly dislike about Lessonspace. However, I think it might be trouble for some tutors to stick ton their subscription plan given the gap between the number of students in different options is quite big.

My overall experience with Lessonspace has been very positive. It’s easy to use, and the shared whiteboard makes lessons interactive and engaging. Compared to Zoom, it feels more collaborative, helping students stay involved and understand concepts more clearly.
Pros: I like using Lessonspace because it makes my lessons more interactive and engaging. The shared whiteboard allows both me and the student to write, draw, and solve problems at the same time, which feels more like working together in person. This feature helps students stay focused and participate actively instead of just listening. Compared to Zoom, it offers a better learning experience because it supports real collaboration rather than one-sided teaching. Overall, it creates a more dynamic environment where ideas can be explained clearly, questions can be answered quickly, and students feel more involved in the learning process every day.
Cons: How it is in browser and no app. Meaning when i join from ipad, sometimes because of my hand whilst writing, it flips off the screen.
Fiona D. · Tutoring · E-Learning · March 30, 2026
My overall experience has been consistently positive. It’s a platform that respects both the teacher’s time and the student’s experience. Lessons run smoothly, the tools support rather than hinder, and one is left with the rare sensation that the technology is on one’s side. In a world where many digital platforms seem to exist purely to test one’s patience, Lessonspace is a welcome exception: calm, competent, and quietly effective.
Pros: $7f
Cons: If one were being determinedly critical, there are moments where one thinks, “Could this be just slightly more customisable?” A few additional tweaks or personalisation options might elevate it from excellent to faintly smug about its excellence. But these are minor quibbles—more the sort of thing one mentions to avoid sounding unreasonably content.

Overall, my experience with Lessonspace has been very positive. It provides a reliable and intuitive environment for online tutoring, making it easy to deliver engaging and interactive lessons. It has helped me improve how I explain concepts and connect with students, particularly through its visual and collaborative features. With a few minor improvements, it has the potential to be an even more powerful teaching platform.
Pros: What I liked most about Lessonspace was the interactive whiteboard and all-in-one functionality. It allows me to explain concepts clearly in real time using diagrams, annotations, and step-by-step working, which is especially useful for subjects like maths and science. Having video, chat, and teaching tools in one place makes sessions feel smooth and well-structured, without needing to switch between platforms.
Cons: At times, the platform can feel slightly limited in advanced features, such as exporting or saving work in more flexible formats.

Lessonspace is super easy to use. Uploading anything, from complete reading passages to workbook pages is simple. I can use a website and have students annotate just as they would in person. My sessions are always interactive, productive and effective!!
Pros: This platform is easy to use. Uploading textbook reading pages and worksheets students can type on, it extremely easy. With no techy skills I'm able to engage my students in effective, productive sessions. A GREAT pro is that I'm able to upload pages and leave them tabbed, all ready for next session. Also, using a website & sharing screen while student can still annotate is so useful. The low monthly fee enables me to keep more of my tutoring earnings!
Cons: Actually, there is nothing in the year I have been using this platform that has disappointed. Only thing is that I'd have to pay a little more if I'd want to access session recordings.

This has been a phenomenal tool for tutoring, and the best platform I've used! The price is also extremely reasonable for all the features.
Pros: I love the ease of use, the convenience of everything for all of my students located in one location, and the whiteboard and sharing features that are available during sessions.
Cons: You cannot directly cut and paste pictures or problems into the whiteboard, they must be saved first and then imported.
Marissa H. · Teacher and Tutor · E-Learning · March 15, 2026
Pros: Really simple to use, for me and for the student at home. All the tools are very easy to use and I can do all I want during the teaching period.
Cons: I had difficulty to create my account and upgrade my account at the end of the trial period, but it's the only difficulty I had. I send an Email and I had help in a few days.
Arianne G. · Orthopedagogue · Education Management · March 11, 2026
It has been awesome especially when it alows one to even monitor lessons as it is going on in real-time.
Pros: I like the fact that lessons are automatically recorded and can be reviewed anytime. Nothing beats that feeling.
Cons: I'm still unable to understand how file sharing are done. Sometimes, I get lost retrieving the files posted even though it seems like it is staring me in the eyes.

Learning how to use it more effectively so I can grow with my students. I am attending classes, too.
Pros: It is a creative way to teach my students and it reminds of using Zoom sometimes. It has a potential.
Cons: I am having a hard time learning how to use all of the features. That affects it makes my confidence.
Kimica D. · Tutor · E-Learning · February 13, 2026
Pros: Lessonspace has a wide range of absolutely essential tools for online teaching. It takes lessons to the next level - something other whiteboard companies cannot do.
Cons: Not much to dislike about Lessonspace - the pricing can be a bit high - but great value for money regardless.
Aasiyah L. · Admin · E-Learning · February 11, 2026
Great user interface overall. I like that the setup was easy for a new tutor and that all of my classes and students are all in one place.
Pros: The setup for new students is easy. I do not have to create a new link for each session. I can reuse the same link and work from previous sessions are saved.
Cons: Nothing to complain. I am unsure if I can join on multiple devices, but that would be a useful feature, especially since it is hard to draw with a trackpad as compared to an iPad.

In general, I'm not sure how to describe it, but the platform is a bit "clunky" - i.e. not intuitive, and a little bit un-user-friendly. It would be fantastic if things could work more smoothly and obviously right from the beginning for our new tutors and learners. However, as we get used to the platform, I'm sure we'll become more fluent with it – and the awesome features hopefully will make it worthwhile.
Pros: I love the feature-rich environment – with graphs, equations, the library of numerous things to be able to bring in to a lesson. The infinite whiteboard, and multiple tabs gives a lot of versatility in creating teaching and learning space. The video display options are also pretty good. We hope that we can get the resources working nicely for our organisation and possibly even integrate Moodle. We'll see how it goes.
Cons: Unfortunately there are some challenges that we are finding. A number of our students join on their phones – and their browser may not be supported – so they only see a limited part of the screen. Even when turning the phone sideways, when still sees a very limited view – there doesn't seem to be a fullscreen option from the learners side. Tab management is a big area where I think things could be improved. Often, I'm finding that various tabs are "disappearing" behind the Main Room tab. Then what would be really helpful, is being able to save a tab, or archive it – rather than leaving it open as the only way to keep it. Without this feature, particular lesson space for the tutor and learner gets up with multitudes of tabs. I realise one can export and import, but it would be much better for it to be on the system – so, being able to save a tab, in that specific space – give it a name, and then reopen it when one wants to refer back to it.

Super positive! This is a great platform for remote tutoring and would happily recommend it to any educator who does remote tutoring. Far superior to simply sharing your screen and having someone watch you work, and then having them share their screen afterwards.
Pros: I love the concept of the interactive whiteboard, and I feel that lesson space is very user friendly. Being able to take screenshots and drag them into the board, resize images and work collaboratively is amazing.
Cons: I haven't found anything about lesson space that I didn't like. The hardest part is taking the time to figure out what the buttons do but that is also part of the fun of it.

My overall experience has been positive. All my families enjoy it and find it easy to use. The tools are accessible and helpful. Pricing is great and I have never had any issues!
Pros: I love how easy it is to use Lessonspace. I have a dedicated space for each student, and it saves our work from session to session so we can go back. I work mostly with elementary aged children and they are easily able to use the tools and even share their screen. They love the emojis and the extra things I can do such as fireworks, and confetti! I also love love love the co-browser which allows all participants to use my shared screen, making games and activities more engaging and fun! It was easy for me to learn how to use the tools as well as teach my students.
Cons: I wish I was able to create a board in one session and copy and paste it into another student's session. Other than that Lessonspace is a perfect A+!

This is primarily a B2B product. Tutoring companies such as mine, subscribe to the platform to deliver our product - teaching students. If something isn't working, we cannot do business. I feel that as soon as they signed me up, they disappeared. I have only ever has two issues: the first was with teacher on-boarding and the response I received to that question was one of the rudest responses I have ever had (my solution/workaround is to pay two of my teachers to train new tutors on my dime) and the second, with needing support for a teacher account. If this company had a robust support system and team, they would be a 10-star company.
Pros: The platform itself is great. The interface is good and my tutors and students really like it. Having all my tutors/teachers using the same platform makes our company look more professional. It integrates seamlessly with Teachworks which is fantastic. This is a big win for my small company and makes the downsides to this product *almost* worth it.
Cons: There is virtually NO support. No support line to call - only an AI-driven chat bot that takes days and days (if ever) to respond. Recently, what this meant for my business, is we had to resort to Zoom (at this point, for five sessions and counting) to tutor a student. All because there was some sort of glitch with a teachers registration and account. Something that possibly could have been solved in a five minute phone call. But despite an initial, unhelpful, response that took three days to receive, the issue is ongoing. I have reached out to sales, the support chat, email. NOTHING. I have gone from mildly irritated to totally irate. And this is student who works with other tutors in my organization and fully uses her LessonSpace account. We look unprofessional.

Pros: I love the simplicity of features such as access to the tools and creating space to add versatility to the lessons. I can customize my lessons easily and make adjustments as I go. I can also save all my resources and have much more control over the class.
Cons: I haven't practiced enough with it to learn whether I can access and upload items before my sessions. I'm sure the more I use it, the better my assessment will be.
Diane R. · Tutor and Licensed Teacher · E-Learning · January 24, 2026
There is no comparison, now, but I am not yet settled because being able to go beyond just sharing a screen was priceless.
Pros: I love that everything for your lesson, even for your semester, can be laid out and organized in one space. The fact that this space is so interactive and fun to use is what pulls me again and again.
Cons: I hated losing the ability to share games for children. This year I have seriously considered leaving because of that. Working with ND students who need little incentives like coloring or playing a game online together, the loss is large. Moreover, I wish there was a way to see the entire space in an aerial view to find missing items. I am always writing to people -wasting their valuable time, because I lose pieces of my main space. Also, the library is so limited. Better to come together with Canva.
