Their customer service is good, response times are quick, and the produce keeps improving. I would recommend!
Pros: This was a very easy to learn system. It uses common sense and the navigation is intuitive. User-friendly!
Cons: The value is there, but I have seen lower priced systems that are comparable. The price point could be lower.

Very happy with YourMembership. As stated earlier, easy to use and manage and great event management options.
Pros: Ease of use and options that are available. Also support is very prompt when needed. Great options for event management, registration, etc.
Cons: Some of the built-in website options can cause confusion for our members but nothing we can't handle.

As noted the team is very responsive and helpful to answer all questions to prepare our site for launch.

Pros: The team were very helpful with helping adjust the custom pages, assisted with html coding, answers all questions in a timely manner and went above and beyond to help us with the website build.
Cons: The website build is pretty time consuming, but I don't have anything that I could say negative about the implementation time. It does take time so patience is a virtue.

Working with [sensitive content hidden] was fantastic. [sensitive content hidden] went to CommunityBrands (YourMembership) after being a user at one of their customers so she knows the system like nobody else. [sensitive content hidden] and his design team did such a great job on our website and were very accommodating to my several changes along the way. The website turned out fantastic!
Pros: I like that I didn't have to build my own solution since their platform already handles most everything.
Cons: Setup of the different types of memberships/member types was very confusing. I felt their setup guides could have been easier to understand.

Pros: Attractive website.[sensitive content hidden] is an outstanding support to us.
Cons: Design capabilities are very limited unless you know code very well.

We hope the overall experience for our members and staff will be good once we finalize the launch.
Pros: The support has been good. We have not yet launched our CRM or Website.
Cons: The web templates have been difficult to use.

The implementation process was excellent. We were assigned our own point person and she was fantastic. Very knowledgeable, kept us on point and helped us figure things out that work for us because of her knowledge and experience. Using the system has been a game changer for us. More members are getting more engaged. We are able to handle renewals and new applicants much more efficiently.
Pros: Ability to reach members and maintain active memberships and renewals
Cons: It is not as mobile friendly as I would like to see. Creates issues for members.
Deanna D. · Executive Director · Civic & Social Organization · January 23, 2024
I would say decent, we have had a few struggles and thought it would work a little bit better in some things we are using it for but all and all it seems to be a good assn mgt software solution.
Pros: That they assigned us a dedicated rep, [sensitive content hidden], to meet with us weekly to help implement the software. [sensitive content hidden] did an EXCELLENT JOB helping us get through the initial steps and get into the functionality. She even suggested work arounds for some of the things we wanted the system to do but wasn't designed to do.
Cons: Some of the functionality seems antiquated compared to other web products out there.

I believe we would have stayed with YM if they had implemented all the changes they have today. YM is a great product.
Pros: I liked YM because it was easy to use.
Cons: It didn't run the reports we needed that upper management was requesting.
Melissa M. · Director of Membership · Non-Profit Organization Management · November 17, 2023
Pros: The Interface looks modern and nice. That's it.
Cons: Server times out multiple times a day and you have to go back and refresh while navigating around. Prompts for a 30 day code to be entered at least once a week, sometimes more. When people are purchasing tickets for events, the database reuses invoice and registration numbers so there is not an accurate count or record.

Support has been great and helpful for the most part. We did find an issue with an item that greatly impacted one of our clients and were disappointed in how it was handled.
Pros: It's ability to dive into data and do complex membership dues structures and events
Cons: It's not super user friendly or easy to set up
Logan B. · Vice President of Strategic Development · Non-Profit Organization Management · August 20, 2023
Pros: it is relatively easy to use and intuitive
Cons: oldschoolEvent management is terribly nonefficient.I would spend a lot of time to update the event registrations post event.

Bad. Using it for the last 3 years but wanting to find a better solution for our members managment.
Pros: Probably the export / import functions and website integration that we use most. The rest is less impactful to our business.
Cons: It is simply too outdated for us to use effectively. Interface is too simple and not attractive, files uploading too cumbersome and website management too. The members corner is too old for any of our members to even consider logging in anymore. It does not integrate with tools we use most.

Overall, our experience with YourMembership has been great! The implementation team and support team have been great. The product is excellent.
Pros: The website and association management are the most useful elements. Even non-technical people can create a useful, attractive page for their website. The team that worked with us as we created our website was great - very helpful. The association management element has changed my business life! So easy to use to keep track of our members and what they are doing. The implementation team was great - lots of helpful videos and instruction sheets as we moved through the process.
Cons: When we first began with YourMembership the customer service was excellent. It seems to have slipped in the last year or so. Probably because it has grown so quickly - but, it is really helpful to have a voice at the other end of the phone when you have a problem. One other issue is that YourMembership is so big that our needs as a small trade association will likely never be considered for implementation.

Not bad but we are looking for another product to be able to accommodate our needs we are currently use 2 other products in addition to YourMembership
Pros: User friendly to use & support is great.
Cons: We wish that YourMemberhsip had an Event App and an Exhibitor platform with a floor plan where Vendors can register and select their Booths.
Ljiljana A. · Accounting, Workshop & Membership Coordinator · Non-Profit Organization Management · June 6, 2023
I enjoy the YM membership database as it gives me all the information on our current members and lapsed members. It is a great tool to assist those members that have not yet logged into their account and try to help them to use the Chapter membership database and take advantage of the Yourmembership benefits offered.
Pros: The integration was easy to use and learn. I like the email campaigns that go to all the members. This is easy to use and a great time saver on sending updates. The reports are a great tool to use for pulling special member reports. The ease of entering new members is a plus. We import new members form our outside Headquarters and this is a great tool.
Cons: I don't like the option to invoice members for renewals because if they do not pay the renewal - we need to credit the invoice and both transactions are sent to our quick books. When in quick books we can see both the pledge the month it was submitted to the member - but several weeks or even a month later if they do not renew we have to issue a credit. This then shows up in quick books and difficult to determine what it is. Therefore because of this I no longer send membership renewal invoice out as it is an accounting nightmare. I wish there were a easier way to send membership renewals without being sent to quick books.

There are some amazing folks at YM, but the support seems cyclical ... times when you get timely, responsive help; times when you get ignored.
Pros: YM is Inexpensive, and it is also relatively easy to learn;.
Cons: The accounting side of YM is sorely lacking, as it membership tracking.
Trae K. · Chief Operations Officer · Education Management · April 1, 2023
Using the system has been pretty good. It's the support that is terrible. Usually once you get a support person to speak with it has been very good.
Pros: I like most everything about YM. I would not have one specific thing at this time.
Cons: Support is terrible to get someone to answer your questions. At times I have waited months for assistance.
Charmayne C. · Member Experience Coordinator · Non-Profit Organization Management · March 31, 2023
Very unsatisfactory. We were convinced to adopt the YM website capability which looks fine. Our not very complex design for Home page and additional pages is already past the one anniversary ! (only have had a home page design so far!)
Pros: Extensive member management and dues capability
Cons: Flexibility to change website is severely impacted by lack of Your membership development resources. Paid for development cycles are not met, and delayed continually
Frank Z. · CEO · Information Technology and Services · February 11, 2023
Provides me an easy way to review dues and donation payments. Much better than what we had before.
Pros: Being a portal for our members, the site allows searching for other members via numerous criteria.
Cons: Many of our older members do not take advantage of the site as much as we might like. Not YM's fault at all. They are just not into anything online at all.
Ronald B. · Treasurer · Military · February 6, 2023
I'm not quite at the point of moving on, but I'd really like to see them make some enhancements to keep customers.
Pros: YourMembership is a comprehensive solution for small to mid-size associations. It handles most functions on its own and plays well with other systems via API.
Cons: Some dislikes include the website (I'm not an html coder; this should be easier); integration with QuickBooks; inability to dedupe or merge nonmember records; too few renewal reminder options; customer service. Customer service if you can get on a chat is usually pretty good. If you can't, it takes forever. And if anything goes to another tier you'll never get it resolved. I've had something with Tier 3 for over 18 months.
Amy B. · Executive Director · Non-Profit Organization Management · December 12, 2022
Pros: YM is a good, affordable product for very basic and simple organizations.
Cons: YM tries to do "all the things"...but doesn't do anything exceptionally well.
Amanda B. · ED · Non-Profit Organization Management · December 9, 2022
The experience has been good. We have integrated the basic platform with Freestone's learning platform, and have several pages linked to other services. The integration is seemless.
Pros: YourMembership is almost entirely customizable, and their support team is always available to help. Once setup, I save hours a week by pulling customizable dynamic reports and by reviewing the critical information on the dashboard.
Cons: I find the email blast portion is clunky. I cannot duplicate a campaign and the HTML editor and preview show the page differently than when it is sent out. I've learned to review the campaigns from several platforms outside of YM to preview.
Marc L. · Director of Finance · Civic & Social Organization · November 10, 2022
I realize that it could be substantial in our communications. When you do not have the support of other employees it makes it difficult knowing that it could improve dramatically. We would like to see about having a consultant help us in some areas but do not know if this is available.
Pros: Member data management - ease of credit card payments and exporting into Quickbooks. There are a lot of things I still need to learn but seem go stay so busy that don't have the time to learn other things.
Cons: I don't have time to learn all the aspects of everything it can do. I have tried to have our communications person switch over to this but to no avail. It is such a big part of today's engaging members. I do all of the accounting and member services so have not been able to learn all the ways it can be used.
julie l. · Director of Member Services · Non-Profit Organization Management · November 7, 2022
The overall experience has been amazing and a breath of fresh air in this world with so much work. It can take a load off of a person's shoulders.
Pros: YM has amazing features to keep the work easier to do and accommodating in terms of time and money. The events feature is what i like the most followed by the membership dues and online store.
Cons: Please improve the events with sessions section in terms of certification obtained after attending such. We should be able to distinguish who attended what session.
