It's been going well so far. I think there are some things that can be changed to make it more user friendly. I was told that I would get business support through my journey and I have yet to get that. I have been flying solo and I'm sure I'm not utilizing things correctly to help improve business. It would be great to have more 1 on 1's to show what phorest can actually do for your business. I don't think I would pay more or move up in tier for what I'm getting.
Pros: That it is an all in one software service. It's great that I don't have to go through multiple companies to keep my business running smoothly. security seems pretty good and haven't had any bugs or issues with the software itself. Online booking has been great and the fact that we can requests deposits for first time client's and also give them a policy notice for no/shows-late appointment.
Cons: The cost for what you get and support staff that is supposed to reach out and don't. When asked to fix or change things the response isn't quick or just told we can't do that. I have used other scheduling softwares before that are way more user friendly and I feel like Phorest should do some more research on other platforms to see how they work well and incorporate that into their own. Reports have also been really hard to find, read and understand.

Overall experience with Phorest is SO good! Anytime I have questions or need support they are right there to help you! Plus their marketing features are amazing!
Pros: Phorest has the BEST reporting system I have ever worked with! Every time I need a number to support my teams growth it is so easy to find! Also, their customer service is EXCEPTIONAL!

Cons: The only con I can think of is that there is no way to "split" retail. My salon specializes and when they share a client there is no way to "share" the retail at checkout. But I reported this issue and have been told they are working on it!

The onboarding folks work very hard to make what can be an overwhelming process manageable as well as creating videos on how to do everything and anything so when issues arise, it is normally because someone didn't follow the easy to read or watch videos! The support I feel as an owner is second to none. I highly recommend!
Pros: Phorest is a game changer as far as being software that I feel like PARTNERS with me to bring the best experience to and for our guests as well as our team members. The customer support is second to none and it is easy to find answers when I need them. Phorest is always upgrading features and listens to our feedback to help streamline their systems in a way that no other company I deal with does.
Cons: Because you normally run so smoothly, when there are bugs or issues with the software I rarely consider that the problem is within Phorest and assume user error.

Pros: I like that it’s really user friendly for clients and salon. They have amazing customer service! I love that there is an app I can use and so can my employees. That it’s the same fee every month and everything I need to use for the system is included. I like the weekly reports and all that too.
Cons: That it won’t let a client book more then one kids haircut together. And I hardtime adjusting to the cost. I think it’s worth it but still seem like a decent amount. But I do love the features

Pros: The system is easy for everyday tasks however making an in person appointment deposit and refunds are not as straight forward.
Cons: Support feels lacking after onboarding. When real issues come up, it often turns into finger pointing instead of problem solving. I still have open support tickets from 10 months ago that haven’t been resolved or followed up on.

I have had Phorest for many years and have been very very happy with the program and the customer service!
Pros: Program is extremely reliable and absolutely love the support is available when you need it. Force is very easy to learn to use. I really like the fact that you can print out people schedules so you always do not have to go back to the computer to see what is going on.
Cons: I cannot really think of a con. It is a monthly cost however, the value for the program is definitely worth it in my opinion.

A great all-in-one product. That I’m excited to see evolve. I don’t think there’s currently a better product at this price point.
Pros: It’s easy to use and a pretty good value for what you’re getting. Customer support has been great. Online booking and the online store is good.
Cons: The waiting list and the online store could be more robust. I’d like to run sales on specific items or specific brands. Basically, running sales online for products feels clunky.

Pros: the POS integration with the system. Phorest Tips has been a game changer for the business and Stylists.
Cons: sometimes reports are hard to find, as there are so many. It would be nice to filter specific reports without all of the other data.

Phorest has saved us time with bookings, giving us any easy way to track our progress, and allowed us to increase revenues while holding down costs.
Pros: I like the value of Phorest. Scheduling system is easy to use and provides a lot of flexibility. All the reports which are available make monitoring your business relatively simple.
Cons: I like all the data collection of Phorest. I would like to be able to see it in graphic form without exporting it into another program

It has been good however, sometimes my text reminders don’t go through to every guests. Mostly ones who have android phones.
Pros: I love the business tracking. It makes knowing tracking your progress very easy. It’s helpful when running reports
Cons: I don’t like the that the online booking isn’t a request for an appointment. I wish I could approve it before it’s scheduled. Also, I don’t like that I can’t see all stylists on the screen when I’m searching for the weak view. It’s only one stylist at a time. I would like to see an overview of everyone.

Pros: it’s been years. I am running my business with Phorest Company study and their trusted, and never anything wrong with the app you can run your business as very smoothly
Cons: The price is expensive, especially like I am one person and I pay $85 or something like that monthly so that’s lots for one person but as a group in Salon is a good price but not for me

Great! I like that it’s seamless and the reports are great. It’s very easy to use and customizable. Love!
Pros: I love the customer service and the fact that I can get in touch with someone and they get back to me right away if they don’t know something.
Cons: The price is higher than all other platforms similar, I feel like if I have two locations we should be able to split sms msgs between both locations, I’m paying for them already and if I don’t use all in one location I should have ability to use at other location.

It's a good product, that makes my job a lot easier. I love the text reminder features as they are very helpful for ensuring my clients arrive when they're scheduled.
Pros: The ease of use, keeping track of clients history, notes, the chat feature in the desktop version, and the quick response from support if I need help with anything. I also like if I add products to my clients tab then exit out of it - it will remember the product.
Cons: The price point could be more competitive comparably to other brands. When there are bugs in the system sometimes takes awhile to get it fixed. My client do sometimes get confused by the dates on the reminders - it would be nice if it was changed to Jan/Feb/March instead of numbers as I book appointments 6 months in advance so sometimes the dates get mixed up.

We are very happy with the switch weed from ClienTrak software. We were hesitant in changing our Salon Software System but we are now glad we made the move
Pros: Excellent appointment management system as well as POS security, their online booking system helps us a lot to save time and money. It keeps us organized with our payroll and Spa management.
Cons: I couldn't mention anything at the moment, so far we are very happy for choosing Phorest as our main Salon system software

Simple to use and works well. Very salon friendly, good options to customize the service to fit the specific needs of our salon.
Pros: The app and desk top are Easy to use and always works well for the salon staff and clients. Lots of ways to customize for personalization
Cons: I don’t like that the save card on file is hard to see when checking out. Saving the card is on as the default, should be something you have to click on to save.

Great software and super easy to use, and if I do have an issue they always help me figure out the issue.
Pros: Great product and great customer service. Phorest is the best out of all platforms that I have used in my shop.
Cons: There is no on line waiting list for clients. I wish clients could get on a waiting list and be notified of openings

We have been using Phorest for the last 6 years and couldn’t be happier. The staff we interact with and support we get are truthfully our favorite part.
Pros: Ease of use and appointment booking by far are my favs. Email and text marketing are a close second place.
Cons: The app is occasionally buggy, but not a deal breaker. For my end on the fly I need the app to be ready for me whenever because I am on the move and not in front of a PC.

Overall fair, has improved over the last year, but I’m getting frustrated with the lack of bug fixes for waitlist and package updates.
Pros: Ease of booking online. Dedicated support is nice. Built In marketing. Inventory systems are easy to use
Cons: Features are bugged and take forever to get fixed. Feature will be launched with known issues with no timeline of resolution.

Iv been using them for 5 years almost and I like them over all I have no complaints and if I do they get back to you fast
Pros: I like the new update where the tips go Straight to the hair dressers bank account. This makes things a lot easier!
Cons: The least I like is I can’t scroll through all my clients on the app like I can on a computer. It’s not a big deal but sometimes I need to scroll through if I forgot someone’s name

10/10 overall phorest is an amazing all over system! I’m very grateful I found this system it makes things much easier!
Pros: Phorest cover so many necessary systems when owning a salon. Retail, inventory, payment processing system and online booking.
Cons: The only thing I wish I could fix about phorest is that phorest should automatically email the account holder when the inventory drops below the minimum quantity. This would allow management to be notified when an order needs to be placed.

Pros: I love all the functions and how many things the system provides for even just the intro package. There are so many functions that we still don’t even utilize, but it’s great knowing they are there!
Cons: I wish there was a phone number that I could call and get someone immediately when I have a question about the system

Cons: When clicking through a page you cannot go back to where you left off, it takes you back to the beginning. For example, staff rosters, editing services, and every other page. Very frustrating. Also, would like to customize our online store.

Pros: I absolutely love the inventory management and reporting. Our stylists are in love with the phorest to GO app.
Cons: Only complaint stylists have is for gap booking and how they have to book processing time which turns into a nightmare for receptionists
