my experience with booker was so great when i want to discover new books and learn any new information i would run to it immedatelly rather than wasting my time on other platforms.
Pros: I really like the security system when you can use it safely,it allows you to feel free and no hacks that can get close to your informations.
Cons: i like the system of it works it is so simple and good for kind of person like me,also how their customer service help me immediately

Overall I had no issues with my experience while using Booker. After a while the service became unaffordable for my business.
Pros: The convenience of managing appointments and payroll makes the administrative work much easier. Customer service was always available with setting up,had questions or concerns about booker.
Cons: During the time using Booker you had to ask clients who their cell phone provider in order to get text message and some clients would act weird about giving that information.

I lost money when the automated payment system glitched. I paid too much money for a system like this to lose money on it.
Pros: Their CRM tool for touching clients is robust - it handles inquiry, intro, reminder and marketing emails very well.
Cons: Whenever anything goes wrong - like the app stops working correctly or automated payments stops working - it’s impossible to get help from customer service.

Booker is a powerful and convenient platform for managing appointments and clients. A one stop shop for operations.
Pros: Booker has offered strong scheduling, payment processing and marketing tools in one platform which has made my work life 10x easier!
Cons: At times there has been slow performance and system glitches however that is expected with most software.

The worst experience I've had with a service provider or tech provider, bar none. Our business used them for 10 years and we couldn't have been treated more poorly. When I was promoted and able to implement changes, we went with Mangomint, which is less expensive, and would recommend to anyone and everyone.
Pros: Absolutely nothing. Could not say a good thing about the service. Run, run, run as fast as you can. They won't care about you until you're leaving and they demand an exit interview.
Cons: The app constantly broke down. Terrible refresh rate on the desktop and app versions. Terrible tech support. Terrible customer support.

Terrible experience. I am cancelling and that process is also a headache. Just as bad as the system itself. And it is way to expensive for the experience. NOT WORTH THE TROUBLE!
Pros: When it was working properly it was easy to use. Which was very far few and between. Giving employees access was easy, when the system wouldn't go down...
Cons: The system was constantly down and in service with technical issues. The system is so slow and frustrating. It would go down and stop working on our busy days in the salon. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT!!!!!

Booker has been super easy to learn as well as easy to teach our new concierge/front desk staff. It is a very user friendly program.
Pros: Booker is very intuitive to use & was easy to learn. I use this software to manage our bookings at the Spa in which I manage & I love it!
Cons: There are some nuances with Booker that it just takes some getting used to. Sometimes it will pause when I am trying to make a new appointment & I have to refresh. This could be a Wifi issue though.

We used it for years, but the quality never seemed to improve. The customer service was also pretty unreliable. We would be on hold for up to an hour sometimes waiting for a representative. Overall it is not the best option - there are way cheaper and better quality software options.
Pros: It was relatively easy to navigate and for the most part, clients had minimal issues when booking. The reports were very thorough as well.
Cons: It was glitchy, inconsistent and slow. Occasionally appointments and time blocks would disappear. The calendar and checkout pages would take a very long time to load, delaying the booking and checkout process. Also, the credit card fees were unsustainable. The cost is outrageous for the quality of the product.

I did not enjoy Booker at all. Difficult and overcomplicated for everything, way too many buttons to try to find one specific thing and it was never under the button or subheading that you thought it would be under for example, the receptionist was on lunch so I had to cash my client out, someone came in just after and wanted to buy a gift card, I looked under all of the headings that it would make sense for it to be under then called in another esthetician and then another one got called in, it was starting to feel like the beginning of a joke "6 estheticians were trying to sell a gift card..." And none of us could figure it out, we had to call the receptionist back and it took her about 10 minutes before she could figure it out and it was under a weird category like "daily tallys". Nothing in the booker booking system was easy or made sense
Pros: It has an unlimited amount of options for services and prices as well as staff.
Cons: Confusing system, spent over 6 months trying to learn it and it's so convoluted I don't understand why anybody would use this, and it's next to Impossible to try to book online through the app

I used Booker for several years and found it to be easy to navigate. It offers options for how to view the schedule, and a way to keep notes on client profiles.
Pros: App version allowed for easy and quick reference from my smart phone.
Cons: Occasional glitches that were not fixed quickly. Some tasks did not work reliably through the app.
Cassidy W. · Massage therapist · Leisure, Travel & Tourism · March 13, 2025
It is easy to schedule clients and view the overall schedule for the day.
Pros: Mobile access across the board and ease of use.
Cons: Booker has been fantastic in the spa setting. Not sure what could change at this time.

For many years Booker was a good, functional system. Version 2 was the worst. Not able to use to run the business. Had to leave the service and move to another scheduling company during our busy holiday system as we were losing revenue due to the issues and inability to check clients (who use credit cards) out! System just kept crashing. Do not use Booker version 2!!!!
Pros: The reports and ease of onboarding employees, setting security levels and booking appointments.
Cons: Once we moved to Booker v2, we found the software to be completely unusable. Constantly freezing, unable to check out clients without crashing, unable to view past transactions easily. Version 2 was completely unusable and we were told there was no way to return to version 1. We lost all of that data and ease of use.

Basically it's very user friendly, but I've needed to also use a client management software as well.
Pros: E-commerce and online booking options are great, easy to use and customer service is very responsive.
Cons: Price is high and software does not have built in clinic insurance or client record management. Doesn't integrated with Moneris unless you pay for a 3rd party gateway

Worked with them for 5 years, love all the features, but with the economy the way it is, had to switch
Pros: Very complete with so many features, marketing and reports.
Cons: Charger are very, very high.. around $350/month plus the 3.5% and some flat fee cents on top of it
Renata D. · Owner · Hospitality · October 5, 2024
Very good. easiest booking online I've come across as a customer
Pros: easy to pick my service and schedule with the right person.
Cons: signs you out if you're not active on the app
Kristin P. · Other · Apparel & Fashion · September 3, 2024
Pros: I like it's ease of use and it's streamlined process in order to schedule.
Cons: Sometimes the software can be a bit glitchy which can be frustrating and you have to start from square one.

Overall easy set up and navigation. User friendly for clients, however could use some minor upgrades with scheduling customization.
Pros: They notified you via email for every new appointment, making it easy to keep track of client appointments.
Cons: Their practitioner scheduling could use some improvement, in terms of making it more customizable. There was no way to have practitioners on a bi-weekly schedule and had to be input manually week by week.
Chantel P. · Registered Massage Therapist · Health, Wellness and Fitness · June 7, 2024
Pros: Organized appointments for our customers.
Cons: It is sometimes confusing to use for our customers.
Marylet M. · Crocheter · Arts and Crafts · May 30, 2024
Negative. They really have a confusing business model. Booker vs Mindbody. Seems really obvious that they need to combine the two. Booker seemed like an afterthought. They upgraded it regularly when I started, then it became apparent that the upgrades were few and far between and really meaningless. The cancellation experience was nothing short of a nightmare. I can't believe how they treated a company that had been with them for over 3 years. You know these companies are in trouble when they try to hold you to a policy that says if you say nothing, your contract auto-renews for one year. Very deceitful. I don't recommend Booker, there are many better options out there.
Pros: It was far more capable than our previous scheduling software. It is fairly integrated solution that does client management, scheduling and POS.
Cons: Dealing with Booker reps. They are not genuine and you get the runaround a lot. There is a lot of turnover in the company. They are very pushy with their acquisitions like Reach and Classpass. Neither are worth your time.
Chris N. · Owner · Consumer Services · May 4, 2024
It was great until around 2020 when Mindbody came around. Been struggling ever since with the software. Each update seemed to break booker more. I signed up in 2014 and left in December. Will not recommend booker or mindbody to anyone.
Pros: Data from clients, calendar views, appt reminders, cloud
Cons: Lack of access to my client data. Wording in set up making it where my software was my own worst enemy- keeping seeking clients from booking available appointments I wanted to fill. My membership tracking and usage was difficult to track.
Sally G. · owner · Health, Wellness and Fitness · April 13, 2024
Pros: Text confirm and remind Online booking
Cons: Customer appointment history is glitchy and sometimes dose not show history and notes as needed
Stephanie P. · Cosmology · Consumer Services · March 26, 2024
The customer services is terrible, the asigned you with a manager and if they are busy you can not get a hold of any one. The are also very rude. It very hard to conect with them when you have an issue. They like to locked you in with a contract. Most of booking systems out there allow you to cancel at any time.
Pros: the have a great couple massage systerm. d
Cons: a lot thing, like getting locked in a contract, event the sytem wasn't working for us we weren't able to dowgrade. They make it really hard for you to not cancel or downgrade.

Ive been waiting for 2 weeks to kickstart a marketing, text campaign. .....
Pros: the starting point seems to be settling with each of the modules, campaigns, contacts, sms, scheduling, automation...but the instanve one get into it, its a sticky mess
Cons: crashing features, dated modules, lack of common features, displaying itself as a market automation tool. Silly customer support
joseph j. · design · Accounting · February 3, 2024
The system does not work as it is supposed to, I have spent too much time calling support without anything getting resolved. The time an energy spent on using this system is not worth the price.
Pros: I liked the appointment booking system. Easy to use and works without any problems.
Cons: I have had booker for over 7 years. The system is really flawed and has a lot of bugs.
