The overall experience was pretty good because I was able to keep track of my books easier and customers were able to book, but it would be that way with any booking app. It became a bad experience when I had to fight for my money too many times.
Pros: I like the idea of getting new clients from Booksey. But in reality, it doesn’t work out that way. Because you have to fight for your referrals that your own clientele referred to you. They always try to take a cut of every new Client. I had even if they did not give it to me. After 35 years I’m capable of getting my own clientele, but they said and I quote.. “they don’t recognize referrals.” I did recommend it to a colleague of mine who was a new stylist and she has had a good experience on it because she will gain new Client from it and she doesn’t have to fight them because she wasn’t in my situation where she had been doing her for a very long time getting referrals from clients. So I would say this works for a new stylist, but not somebody who is already pretty much booked, but just looking for a new client here and there.
Cons: Having to fight for my money. And not getting it more than half of the time. I am currently using a different app and I am not having this problem at all.

Overall booksy biz is effective and efficient and it’s user friendly. Cost is a little higher than I’d like it to be

My overall experience has been disappointing. While the client-facing side looks polished, the administrative experience is frustrating and inefficient. I spent more time troubleshooting issues, re-entering details, and hunting for settings than actually using it to manage bookings. There are better, smoother scheduling platforms available, and for the time investment required, Booksy Biz didn’t deliver the reliability I needed.
Pros: The client-facing interface is clean and easy for customers to use. Booking pages look professional, and automated reminders are a helpful touch. The idea behind the platform (giving service providers a simple way to manage appointments) is fantastic.
Cons: The backend setup is confusing and far from intuitive. Many of the features feel half-built or glitchy, and customizing services, availability, or pricing often requires too many steps. Customer support is slow to respond, and updates sometimes break features that were previously working. For a platform that’s supposed to simplify scheduling, it often creates more friction than it removes.

Pros: I haven't had a chance to benefit from it yet. I'm still posting on my social media everyday trying to pull clients in.
Cons: It's not as accurate as some say it is. Maybe it's because I haven't had dealings with this app but two weeks.

I would say it's good overall. Customer service is great and the system is pretty easy to use. I would give it a B+
Pros: Learning curve. Customer Service is pretty good, and always available to answer all my questions. For the value of the money is good.
Cons: We did not like the boost feature. We had Charges showed up in our account all of the sudden and we were not informed well about this.

It's been a good experience. The app is professional and pretty user-friendly. The booksy app also provides professional customer support.
Pros: It's easy to use and convenient. It's professional and has the most users out of all the other scheduling apps so it's more promising to help new businesses find new clients.
Cons: It requires people to download the app and schedule their own appointment in order to leave a review.

Overall no issues except for an update that was done that every client who paid with card on file was set to autopay in which they never set and I lost some money on tips because of it. Then after I readjusted Booksy fixed that issue but now the ones that did have auto pay originally no longer has it on for them. So it screwed somethings up.
Pros: I don’t need to constantly answer phone calls or do heavy marketing the open network on the client app helps bring people to me.
Cons: I wish that Booksy would add a notification when someone is in the waiting list. I won’t know unless a client tells me.

Overall its been a good tool to plan and keep structure to my business but overall it hasnt helped grow my business at all
Pros: Works really well as an organizational tool with a good layout design and an easy to use interface.
Cons: Honestly the app is pretty decent but the one thing i dont like is all the “marketing” and “boost” ads, because when you take the time to try to use them and give them a chance they provide no results in getting you new clients, for example ive had my account boosted for 2 weeks and did everything booksy asked, as a result i havent booked any new clients, not one.

Overall it’s an incredibly useful tool. It keeps my book open and running smoothly. I can take payments, communicate with clients adjust my hours all with ease and quickly and concisely.
Pros: I like the ease of use for my clients. Also being able to just share the link or the QR code is incredibly convenient
Cons: There are a few bugs. When you go to type when using message blasts the cursor jumps backwards and makes it a mess. I also don’t like that we as the business can’t rate the clients like Uber. It would be really nice to know if a client has a tendency to no call no show a lot of barbers. Or if there are any other issues with them as clients. Even if it was as simple as Booksy letting us know “hey this person has 6 no call no shows against them from other people” so we can know to have them prepay or not.

I love the platform in allowing Clients to schedule and pay on line. I wish i was able to showcase Booksy on my Facebook page without having a Facebook business account.
Pros: I like that clients can pre pay before so I am protected with my time and scheduling. I love that clients can leave a review.
Cons: I thought I would be getting a new client at least very other week. Wanted more advertising from Booksy.

It’s a great company to build clientele but you have to realize you compete with a lot of other barbers in the area.
Pros: I like the opportunity it creates to get new potential clients. And helps with my schedule my day is organized
Cons: I’m not fun on the boost program because everyone in my area is boosted and it’s not any advantage of having the boost program. When I first signed up I had someone who call and make sure everything is going great. Now it’s no one check on me or if I’m having issues

Amazing company, great customer service! Booksy even recently took its Tampa Bay clients on a dinner cruise! How nice!
Pros: Takes the stress off answering my phone bc clients can their own appointments. I also like that new clients can find me on the app
Cons: No option to log products sold in salon. It would be easier to keep track of retail sales if we could do this!

Pros: Easy to use the app. My clients have never complained and I also like feeling valued, had a fun time hanging out at the yacht party
Cons: The boost fee gets charged even when you do not check a client out meaning most likely that client did not show

My overall experience with Booksy has been great other than not being able to put in the credit card. I do like them. I do get a lot of business through them and my clients think it is pretty easy to use.
Pros: I like most about books is that people can search your business on a platform without knowing who you are so there is a 50-50 chance that you get a new client
Cons: The least thing I like about Booksy is not being able to put on file their credit card and not making the Client in their profile. Have a updated one. There are a lot of clients who have a credit card that no longer work so when you try to charge the cancel fee or no-show it does not go through so you lose out money.

Pros: Booksy keeps me organized and the tap to pay feature makes check out way more efficient. Also the app is always adding new features to improve business and client relations!
Cons: Sometime the mobile app can take a while to load or update information in the calendar. Basically it can be glitchy.

Not as many clients as I thought would come through the platform but overall experience is ok I wish the merchant fess were a bit cheaper also
Pros: Ease of scheduling, the array of settings and the fact that you can message clients in regards to their appointments
Cons: Limited features such as memberships offered to clients don’t have the capability of reoccurring charges for memberships it has to be manually generated. I also do not like the features on the mobile are not available on the computer such as add to calendar.

Love it best book site that I have used so far since I have been an entrepreneur entrepreneur, I give it a 10 out of 10.
Pros: I love the feature of the app. you can customize your services deposits as you want. It helps me with scheduling an appointment management for my clients. It also helps me send out reminders or notifications when I’m having a happy hour or have something special for the holiday holidays. For the value of the money, I value Booksy in the security that has given me and also the learning curve it has provided for me.
Cons: The thing I like the least about bookie is that well honestly, I don’t have any kinds about books now that the app has been updated. Everything is working officially as it should.

Booksy has the capacity to keep someone organized with the schedule I have noticed the difference is significant.
Pros: Link can be added anywhere for bookings. Thr reviews done by clients does not require review reputation management its done by Booksy.
Cons: People have to have an actual account to booksy account download to be able to do the actual appointments. It would be nice that they don’t have to do that as it prompts them to downloading the app and logins

Boosky has helped scale from 0 clients and now I have serviced over a 100 clients within the first couple of months and average $600 a week straight out of barber school using the Boost program. I haven’t got one client with out Boost or haven’t did not one promotion or any promo. Boosky has done it all. I highly recommend this platform for any barber trying to grow or win in the industry.
Pros: Overall I love everything about Boosky. All of there features has helped me grow my business, and made my Barber journey more efficient and organized.
Cons: I haven’t found nothing on Boosky that I don’t like, so far, every feature has been an asset to my business and growth.
