Thrive by Shopventory helps small businesses manage inventory across physical and online stores with real-time tracking and bulk editing tools. It’s most used by retail teams with limited tech resources. Reviewers highlight its reporting and multi-location control, though barcode scanning and order filtering need refinement. Advanced tools like scan-to-create purchase orders and automated stock transfers support growing operational needs.

I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS!!! Choosing Thrive by Shopventory has been one of the best decisions we have made. A FIVE star review thus far.
Pros: This is an amazing help to our little mom and pop store. I love all of the features although I am still in the midst of learning. It is such a great way of tracking your inventory and ensuring that your count is correct. I love how you can reconcile items with ease. It certainly is worth the cost. The team is awesome when you run into an issue.
Cons: I wish I could afford all of the features that they have to offer. I tried the AI for purchasing orders but we had too many variables from vendor to vendor. It is great if all of your vendors are similar but in our case it was hard to determine invoice discounts and other items. Love the feature but not a good fix for us.

Overall it's been incredibly positive. I've learned enough playing with it to keep myself busy but anytime I have a question, the AI is actually helpful and the Humans are a delight.
Pros: The customer service is outstanding. Being a frequent issue creator means I get to talk to them a lot! The chat is so quick and so easy, sometimes I pop in just to say "Hi!"
Cons: It's not tailored to books sales and doesn't handle card processing. If it were tied to Ingram reporting and databases, it would be a game changer for us. Thrive would become our permanent inventory solution instead of a temporary one.

10/10--highly recommend! From the onboarding call with [sensitive content hidden] to the sessions I have had with [sensitive content hidden] to the help Ive gotten from people like [sensitive content hidden] on the chat--its all been incredible. Special shout out to [sensitive content hidden] who has been our account rep. He has always made himself available to assist. Its been a pleasure working with the Thrive team.
Pros: Multi location for inventory management and its connection to POS system is awesome. Cant say enough good things about the customer service and account management teams as well
Cons: Truly cant think about a whole lot. The system runs great. If I am picky and to fill the minimum text for this box, I would say only being able to run one to two integrations at a time is my least favorite thing.

I had the pleasure of working with [sensitive content hidden] today regarding a payment and account issue with Thrive, and I couldn’t be more impressed. She was incredibly professional, patient, and knowledgeable throughout the entire process. [sensitive content hidden] went above and beyond to ensure everything was resolved quickly and smoothly. Her friendly attitude and willingness to help made the experience stress-free. Thrive is lucky to have her on their team — thank you so much, [sensitive content hidden]!
Pros: Every time I contact Thrive, I’m always met with polite, knowledgeable, and professional representatives — and today was no different. I truly appreciate the consistent quality of customer service Thrive provides.
Cons: There isn't anything that I dislike about Thrive.

I have for some time use the same girl to help me. Thought that might be an anomaly but after chatting with a different girl realize that you guys are incredible. Arguably the best customer service in the industry.
Pros: That it is a person and not a pre-programmed bot. Having the ability to speak or chat with someone is incredibly comforting.
Cons: There are no cons. As long as you have a real human working out our problems as retailers or customers. We are good.

Overall, it's been great. I've been a long time customer (9 years now), and they've always answered all my questions and been so helpful navigating through any points of confusion I may have had.
Pros: I love the reorder process for all my po's. I used to spend hours getting them all sent out, and now with their automatic reorder points and par levels, I can have all po's sent off to my vendors in 30 mins or less!
Cons: I didn't like the multiple steps required to make a case of something. For example, if i sell a 12 pack case of energy drinks, to get those to properly deduct the right case qtys as single cans are sold, it requires quite a few steps and sometimes confusing math.

They have great customer service everytime I've had an issue the last 3 years they have been great in assisting me.
Pros: They are the best inventory app out there! clover recently raised prices and i cancelled thrive to give other apps a try 3 weeks later and I'm back with thrive
Cons: I wish the second integration was part of the $59 dollar plan I don't need all the features of the standard plan. all I need is to sync with clover and my shopify store.

So far, so Good, Had lot all our inventory data in Square Cynthia from Thrive support made sure as soon as she came to know the situation, she made it a point to see it's resolved and she even logged in on a Saturday to check and update us that the scheduled task had completed.
Pros: The overall inventory management system features and support. Integrates with Square, WooCommerce & Shopify.
Cons: All good features are at a higher price slab. If a product has more variants, it becomes very slow to update.

I love it I have been using it for years and do the annual subscription. I have told several people about Thrive .
Pros: Even though [sensitive content hidden] was off she saw my cry for help and I was in panic mode. She helped get everything going and took the time to make a video incase she had to go before we where up and running. But we where fortunate that we did not have to do a complete upload of inventory. Long story short my system shut down yesterday on a Friday our busiest day and we where shipped a new system next day and needed to get up and running and was concerned about getting all inventory uploaded quickly. [sensitive content hidden] was AMAZING!!!!!
Cons: [sensitive content hidden] just happened to see my cry for help but in most cases I may not have had anyone to help. Retail is 7 days a week and some are 24/7. I think it would be nice to have at least one person on standby or call for after hours.

It has helped us gain back control of our inventory so we can have more accurate information for ordering, accounting, and receiving
Pros: It helps manage inventory and provides detailed reports. We can see more information and records about products.
Cons: When making a report, we can't quite filter the way we would like to. When doing a transfer, we cant override numbers.
Lacey B. · E-Commerce and Inventory Management · Farming · June 19, 2025
Overall, I'm happy with Thrive. We get the data and reporting we want and we only occasionally have problems that can't be fixed immediately.
Pros: Thrive has prompt, friendly customer support! I'm usually able to resolve occasional problems right away.
Cons: Sometimes our products don't load in our catalog, which can be hard for work. But usually, a quick refresh or a browser restart helps.
Cara S. · eCommerce Manager · Retail · June 18, 2025
Our experience with Thrive has been fantastic! No complaints! We love using it as a part of our daily ritual.
Pros: Thrive is the perfect software for our company! It manages our inventory and allows us to dig deeper in our reports for analytics.
Cons: I don't have anything bad to say about Thrive. My only recommendation is to give more options to the reports tab.
Ignacio P. · Operations Manager · Recreational Facilities and Services · June 17, 2025
[sensitive content hidden] was great, she explained what I was doing incorrectly in just a few minutes and asked me if I needed more help with anything
Pros: prompt, access to associate... the bot transferred me right away when it didn't have the ability to help me
Cons: the Bot, just because the whole world is going to this method. I wish that inventory metrics was an easier thing, every

Pros: Inventory and sales data are accurate. Reports help make data analysis and ordering faster for my business.
Cons: Website speed and updates to integrations could be faster. I also don’t like having to open a locations tab for each product to make inventory changes.
Larry C. · Owner · Food & Beverages · June 13, 2025
Overall, Thrive has been a great system for my company! We use it daily in our stores and with our purchasing and inventory management at our headquarters. Would recommend to anyone with multiple locations!
Pros: Thrive is easy to use, fast and has everything available for easy access. Customer service has always been super helpful and personable!
Cons: The main dislike I have with Thrive is that sometimes the inventory doesn't edit correctly, and will add or remove more than we selected.
Meagan S. · Purchasing Manager · Consumer Goods · June 13, 2025
Pros: I like the customization of the reports and the customer service is always timely, friendly, and top notch!
Cons: At this point I do not have any cons with Shopventory. Whenever I run into difficulties customer service is always able to help me quickly.
Tom W. · Owner · Retail · June 13, 2025
I have had nothing but exceptional service from Thrive, every member of the team has been exceptionally helpful. Whenever I reach out for help I get a quick response and my concerns are always addressed.
Pros: The support team was magnificently quick to respond to my inquiry and worked in a kind and professional manner.
Cons: Sometimes when I have multiple instances of Thrive open I create inventory discrepancies that I don't intend to make. But that's on me, that's not on Thrive.
Stephen L. · Owner · Retail · June 12, 2025
The folks at Thrive (Shopventory) are always quick to respond and get to the bottom of every issue and problem that is presented to them.
Pros: Prompt responses. Working to solve every problem. Making certain great customer service is provided.
Cons: Not a huge con, but not being able to call a customer service representative and having to rely on chat messages would be the only con.
Austin H. · Wine Store Owner · Retail · June 12, 2025
100% a GREAT INVESTMENT!!!! I wouldn't want go with another company, they are simply a 10 STAR company Thank you!
Pros: I love the fact the customer support is always with 2 helping hands with the confidence they feed you to be a successful business! You guys really make my life easier with the cheer you all give me
Cons: There is absolutely nothing I can say negative about them. I would definingly give them a shot and you won't regret it
Jodie H. · owner · Retail · June 12, 2025
Mostly simple to use software. Takes feedback on what can make things run smoother seriously. Useful for the work flow.
Pros: Customer support really tries to answer fully questions and fix issues to best of their ability. New fast reporting.
Cons: Updates in the middle of work day. Do we need fast internet to make things load faster? Yes I think we do.
Christina M. · Buy · Retail · June 11, 2025
I have absolutely loved Thrive. It handles a complex inventory of our smoke shop but the main thing I have loved the most is the customer service. Every rep has taken time to help and dive into every issue I have had. Unlike so many other apps I've encountered.
Pros: Customer service and user-friendly software. Training, onboarding, inventory setup everything was very easy.
Cons: Some reporting could be better but really no cons for me. Some of the pricing could be a little more competitive.
Lauren C. · Manager · Retail · June 10, 2025
I have been using Thrive for years but just started diving into the weeds. I didn't realize it's capabilities...Thank god for an amazing customer service team!
Pros: Easy to navigate, superb customer service team
Cons: I don't enjoy doing bulk uploads, thankfully customer service usually helps me out.
Trish G. · Operations Manager · Retail · January 2, 2025
The product does exactly as they say. It's very easy to manage inventory. Whenever I run into a snag, their online chat is extremely helpful and has always solved my problems.
Pros: Their customer service is AWESOME! They always help with whatever I need and quickly!
Cons: Nothing. The only thing I would problem not like is the cost, but I have to say it is worth it.
Gina L. · Accounts Manager · Retail · December 11, 2024
This has been a great experience from the beginning with the sales rep, [sensitive content hidden], to the chat helpers like [sensitive content hidden] and all the others I have continuously bothered :-) to even a couple good answers from the AI. But I still prefer the live chat people.
Pros: The customer care/support is out of this world!! I can always talk to a live person via chat quickly and they are very knowledgeable and patient. They explain things well so that I can use and begin to understand the unfamiliar parts of the program.
Cons: I have yet to find anything I do not like.
Marci K. · Assistant Gift Shop Manager · Museums and Institutions · December 5, 2024
I love the chat functionality, easy to reach someone for assistance.
Pros: Concise answers on how to solve our situations.
Cons: Cost increase, I wish the plans were less expensive.
