Cons: Obtaining data into templates that are program-specific for assessment reports.

Pros: The ease to track student hours and issue out surveys.

Cons: That all the information and documentation is not viewable on the user/site screen.

Pros: The scheduling, student records, logs, and evaluations features

Cons: Challenges with the reporting suite/gathering data that we need in an intuitive and streamlined way

Pros: That it is web bases so I can get it through any device.

Cons: Not really sure I have any cons with the software.

Pros: This software is fairly easy to maneuver in . Great customer service and lots of avenues to learn about this software. I do enjoy setting up reports to capture exactly what you need in that report. Very versatile.

Cons: Note taking with dates and user name. Hand slotting needs more options

Pros: Great support, easy to use. Very helpful team. Great availability.

Cons: The instructional videos were rather lengthy. It would be better to have an interactive instructional video.

Pros: Robust reporting features for tracking progression and meeting accreditation requirements. Set up is customizable.

Cons: Setup is tedious. User interface could be modernized.

Pros: I most like the ability to do so many different activities within the same product such as tracking hours, preceptor requests, evaluations, communication, etc.

Cons: We occasionally had to wait extended periods of time for alterations in the functionality to be made. These were customizations so I understand the delay to some degree.

Pros: Whenever we have a question or need help with something, the CORE Elms representatives are quick to answer and always so very helpful.

Cons: The 'save' icon is called "Enter Information" in some areas and "Submit Information" in other areas, which can be confusing for new users, instead of just being called "Save". But once you get used to it you just look for the button and it doesn't really matter exactly what it says.

Pros: Customer service. CORE listens and responds with changes to the software based on client feedback and that has been the way it has been for the last 10 years, thank you!

Cons: The scheduling and settings tabs can be alittle overwhelming for the new user. It is great to have many options, it can also be a challenge to have many options.

Pros: Overall it is easy to use and maintain. We find the SmartMatch scheduling to be very helpful and intuitive in getting us good schedules in a very short time frame.

Cons: One of the things we struggle the most with is types of user accounts and when a preceptor changes employers being able to disconnect the preceptor from the previous employer and connect them to a new employer without needing to create a whole new user account for them. We also wish there was more connectivity across all platforms for student use. Each element (ELMS, CompMS, Readiness, etc.) seems to be disjointed from each other.

Pros: It is easy to filter and track students who request absences.

Cons: I wish the reports that I download were easier to customize.

Pros: We can pull up a user's profile and find everything we need from their snapshot page: address, schedule, etc. ELMS gives us the "keys to the kingdom," allowing us to select features, options, and functality that works for us. With other software, we tell the support team what we want and they make it happen. With ELMS, we will have the ability (once we know more about what we're doing!) to customize the program in a manner that works for us. One feature that I anticipate setting up in the coming year are site requirements. This was one of the main reasons why we switched to ELMS and I am anxious to see if it works the way I anticipate.

Cons: $79

Pros: It is intuitive and very easy to use for the main aspects of the system. I also very much appreciate that feature updates that are requested by us are taken back to the design team for consideration. The customer support is excellent.

Cons: Generating valuable reporting is terrible and the definitive weakness of this program and where competing learning management systems excel. The depth of reporting, ability to generate specific information from reports, how information is pulled, and gather educational outcomes should be improved. Please look into E-Value and their reporting capabilities, which is much better. For example, the data that is pulled depends on whether an evaluation has been inactivated (since a new eval needs to be generated anytime a tweak is made to the evaluation - to avoid losing valuable educational data for reporting on the original version), whether a rotation type is inactivated, and other factors. It is frequent that our team members pull reports for the exact same data but our numbers are completely different. This is because of the complexity of the settings and how reports are run. It can impact the outcome data significantly.

Pros: I love how easy it is to set up student schedules, access necessary reports, and maintain student documents / requirements. The system is also very useful for messaging mass groups of people regarding availability, schedules, and account information. In addition, the customer support teams are fantastic! They have a dedicated team for your specific institution, and this makes it excessively easy to get in contact with them to have problems resolved quickly!

Cons: It takes a little while getting used to all of the main functions within CORE ELMS (because there are so many useful ones). However, after learning the ins and outs (in addition to receiving help from the support team), you can quickly maneuver the system.

Pros: Core Elms makes it easy to collect all student documents in one place, maintain confidentiality and easily run reports to see if any items are outstanding. The ability to collect student requests for rotations and their preferred locations, then easily match them to the experiences we have has cut down the time I spend on the student matching process significantly.

Cons: I wish all my student documents were in one place, I would like to be able to see the forms I have them fill out and evals all in one view so I can check everything at once. I tend to lose things in the system, due to not checking in multiple places. I also wish that student profiles could talk between institutions, so if the student has an account through their university, it would automatically pull my needed documents from their school account.

Pros: The support team is excellent and the functionality of CORE is essential to organizing IPPE and APPE rotations/requirements for students

Cons: I'm looking forward to more search functions in the reporting suite

Pros: From a general school perspective, CORE provides a central location for all information related to clinical placements that is needed for our program. This includes information needed for larger requirements such as accreditation and audits with clinical compliance to smaller scale information such as student and instructor scheduling for each course in the curriculum.

Cons: There are MANY different locations where settings for various features are turned on and off. This can be cumbersome when trying to troubleshoot an issue, especially when learning the program initially. For example, just to turn scheduling on and off for student/preceptor viewing, there are buttons under Settings, Rotation Date Groups, Rotation Dates, Rotation Types, AND Courses. The support team is great at navigating these settings in a timely manner.

Pros: Product is easy and efficient to use for all users. Customer support is great!

Cons: Not understanding exactly how everything was merging over from our previous software. Wish we cleaned up our files a bit before then.

Pros: Once you have been trained CORE Elms is easy to use and navigate. There are a variety of features allowing you to tailor it to meet your needs.

Cons: You do need to be trained in the different features. Due to so many different options it can feel overwhelming. They do offer a video training series, but due to the number of training videos it can be hard to find what you want or need. The SmartMatch can be difficult to use.

Pros: The software allows me to perform clinical scheduling, track field encounters, log student Absences and incidents, and track Various requirements from Hospital credentialing documents to preceptor licenses, board certification, and affiliation agreements. Reporting tool helps with auditing These requirements and checking for currency.

Cons: The software can be cumbersome because it is so highly customizable and there are numerous locations where settings may overlap which can create confusion.

Pros: Mostly, I like the relational database and how the levels seem to tie together easily

Cons: Still learning the program, but found a couple occasions where information could have been labeled better or placed in a better location

Pros: Our School of Pharmacy has discovered the range of features that CORE ELMS contains does meet our needs very well. While we don't take advantage of all the modules, the ones we value the most are the Document Library, Requirements (which make storing documentation for preceptors/sites/students a breeze!), and Evaluations. Every aspect in CORE ELMS appears to have been thoughtfully designed with the various user types in mind and there are updates and refinements that roll out on a regular basis. Their customer service is unmatched; if we have a question, issue, or suggestion for improvement, we always receive a prompt response. Having all of the features contained in one user-friendly management system allows wach and every administrator, student, and preceptor to be most efficient with their time.

Cons: Although CORE ELMS isn't the most intuitive for new users, a short orientation to the system is usually all that's needed to familiarize most users to its functionality. While the Notes function is quite helpful, it might be better organized if it had an option to sort by due date, rather than the defauly view.
