My overall experience had been wonderful. I like how the platform is always updating and sharing the information via webinars.
Pros: Paycor is a reliable HR and payroll platform that simplifies workforce management for businesses of all sizes. The software is user-friendly and offers a wide range of features, including payroll processing, time tracking, benefits administration, and recruiting tools. One of Paycor’s biggest strengths is its intuitive dashboard, which makes it easy for managers and employees to access important information quickly.
Cons: I do not like to the process for submitting cases, when the team respond via SalesForce I never receive the communication.

Paycor was always available if we needed any help and we were very happy with their customer service. Great company to deal with
Pros: The availability of a local office was great. If we had any issues a local person was available and was able to rectify any problems
Cons: Sometimes when we were processing our payroll we would encounter a few issues but we could always correct them

Customer support wastes an hour each time, takes at least 45 minutes to get to someone who doesn't speak English. Then promises are made and quickly forgotten. The fees keep adding up. I had one fee that no one at Paycor could even tell me what it was for. Other fees that didn't apply to my business. I'd complain, get a promise of a credit, then get no credit. I finally left and filed a BBB complaint, which got someone's attention, and after another month of fighting got a promise of a $1200 refund, which represents the last 6 months of abuse. I was promised to get it by the end of the week. It's been over a month now, as the feet get dragged. Stay away from this company, there are legitimate payroll companies out there that will work for you.
Pros: I needed direct deposit, that happened. Seriously, that's all I can say that's good. Oh, the guy who first set me up in Paycor seemed nice, although he ignored everything I told him, I found out later.
Cons: Fees, more fees, fees they can't explain, broken promises, and customer service is horrible (and liars)
Dean H. · owner · Construction · May 1, 2026
Overall, I would recommend Paycor, for smaller business. I would just be weary on the hidden fees after 1 year of service.
Pros: Paycor is an all-in-one HRIS system which is great - it has an straight forward layout, which is easy to navigate.
Cons: Customer service and support can be slow and also the pricing in the beginning was competitive with other HRIS, but then the fees increased.
Christy L. · Director of Human Resources · Education Management · April 29, 2026
Paycor makes filing taxes easy enough and that alone has been a huge relief. Also, all my training modules are still available in the same area where my payment information resides and most importantly, no spreadsheets were harmed during the transition to Paycor. This has literally cut back 40% of the time I wasted using Excel to do things I should be doing elsewhere.
Pros: The best part about this system is that all your payroll information and employee benefit options are all in the same place. Plus, I can do this without the entire program freezing.
Cons: Nothing to dislike about it but it costs a lot to get every little integration added. I would like if the cost was lower.
Donnie M. · Chief Revenue Officer · Staffing and Recruiting · April 17, 2026
I’ve had a great experience with Paycor. The platform is highly intuitive, and I particularly value the seamless onboarding process and the added financial flexibility provided by early direct deposits.
Pros: Seamless Transitions: When an HR admin marks a candidate as "hired" in the Recruiting module, their data flows instantly into Payroll and Onboarding. Users like that they don't have to enter the same data three different times. Centralized Tax Forms: Employees find it very helpful to have all their electronic tax forms (W-2s, 1095-Cs) in the same place they check their weekly pay
Cons: Recent shifts toward AI-driven support have frustrated some users who feel they can no longer reach a knowledgeable human representative for complex problems.
jarvis t. · Support Coach · Health, Wellness and Fitness · April 16, 2026
Pros: The ease of use and navigate, easy to track our pay days off and allowance all in one page. the best thing is easy to use.
Cons: Nothing that I have experienced. I think i have ever had an issue with paycor or the use of it. Dont have complains.
ana B. · Analyst · Automotive · March 30, 2026
I liked it. Was a very middle of the road system. Good not bad does what you need it to do. Cost efficient.
Pros: I used it as our main recruiting system at my old job, but it was fairly easy to use. Def user friendly.
Cons: Its been a few years, but at the time customer service wasnt the greatest. It may have improved since then
Lexi K. · HR ADMIN · Retail · March 30, 2026
Paycor is a reliable solution for organizations looking to simplify their HR processes and improve efficiency.
Pros: I’ve had positive experiences using Paycor for HR and Payroll needs. The platform is user friendly and easy to navigate.
Cons: There are occasional system glitches. There are some inconsistencies in navigation that make some tasks more time consuming.
Susie W. · HR Representative · Alternative Medicine · March 18, 2026
Pros: This software was easy to use. It was especially good when trying run a small retail business with only a few employees.
Cons: I wouldn’t really say I had any cons with his software. I wouldn’t use it for a large company. Its more for small businesses.
Anonymous User · Accounting · Building Materials · March 18, 2026
Pros: When it was SentricHR, it was a great customer support. It was easy to use, easy payroll calculations, including PTO forecast.
Cons: Non-intuitive user interface, missing features, that often leading to misinformation and unresolved issues.
Anonymous User · HR Supervisor · Machinery · March 17, 2026
It was over all a pretty good experience. I never had any issues that I know of other than just around 5 it could be a little slow
Pros: Customer Support was really helpful, and I could always find what was need Ease of Use all around it was great
Cons: nothing at all it was a great website and gave me no issues ever. I liked all the tabs and areas to work with

Generally Paycor works for the needs that we have for our mid sized business. I have seen some improvements since Paychex has gotten involved.
Pros: Payroll is easy and user friendly. Employee management is very easy and our employees also find it easy to navigate.
Cons: Would like dedicated Account Managers for support. General support isnt always beneficial and find that resonse times are extremely lengthy and goes to multiple departments to solve problems.
Tiffany G. · Sr Generalist · Logistics and Supply Chain · February 26, 2026
Very good. It's organized, easy to view and simple to understand. My small business employer utilizes it for schedules and time off
Pros: They have very secure logins. Even though my email wouldn't work, i could get authenticator to reroute to another email to login
Cons: It's simple, like super simple. I think HR is underutilizing it due to its simplicity. They mail everything anyway.
Melissa Z. · User · Health, Wellness and Fitness · February 25, 2026
It was fine, and I have no real complaints about the platform or software. It was reliable and that all you can ask for in a platform like this.
Pros: It was a super easy to use platform that housed all of my HR items in a previous role. Did everything you could want it to, and was very simple in its use. Could always reliably get my pay info from there.
Cons: It is simple, and there's not a lot of features that you can do outside its main functions. Payment details are the main thing we used it for but nothing more.
Matt S. · Activation Manager · Entertainment · February 25, 2026
overall my experience was good i could get every thing that i wanted to do . i will continiu using that
Pros: very user friendly and easy to use. the features are exactly what i needed and what i wanted for so long time
Cons: the speed of loading is little bit low. i expected to be faster to save my time. i dont like to wait for loading

Overall, Paycor has been helpful for managing payroll and HR. It saves time and helps keep things organized. There is a learning curve and support could be better, but once everything is set up it does what we need it to do.
Pros: I like that Paycor keeps everything in one place. Payroll, onboarding, documents, and employee info are easy to manage. It makes life easier when you are dealing with multiple employees and need to stay organized. The system is pretty user friendly once you get used to it.
Cons: Customer support can be slow at times, and some things are not as straightforward as they should be. Certain features take extra steps to figure out, and when something goes wrong it can take longer than expected to get it resolved.
Alto D. · Ops Manager · Staffing and Recruiting · February 23, 2026
Overall experience was ok. With the uniqueness of our organization we require alot of data that needs to be stored as well as our extensive employee policy manual which the Paycor site had trouble storing the way we preferred
Pros: Paycor's time and attendance system was fairly easy to use and their time & attendance team was easy to work with and were helpful in resolving any issues that arrived.
Cons: There were limitations as to how much scannable data & forms can be stored on their system for employees and on the main page.
Dan C. · Benefits and Compliance Manager · Human Resources · February 9, 2026
Overall, my experience with Paycor has been extremely negative. What was marketed as a comprehensive, supportive payroll and HR solution has instead been a constant source of stress and inefficiency. Critical payroll issues take far too long to resolve, support is difficult to reach and often unhelpful, and there is little accountability once contracts are signed. Rather than streamlining HR and payroll processes, Paycor has required excessive time and effort to manage issues that should be simple. I would not choose this platform again.
Pros: Mostly easy to navigate. It's difficult to find positive things as this software has been nothing but a nightmare.
Cons: $90
Stephanie S. · Manager · Human Resources · February 3, 2026
Commission brokers have to be handled with accurate payroll. I apply this to make everybody paid on time which makes the employees to be handled easily.
Pros: The tax management features are simply amazing and automatically compute and submit our payroll taxes in numerous states to remote employees.
Cons: The customer care team is hard to contact when it is busy so, and it takes too many clicks to instantly fix such simple mistakes in the backend.
John P. · Transport Broker · Transportation/Trucking/Railroad · January 25, 2026
After working with Paycor for the past four years, I truly love the system and know it like the back of my hand. I often praise the platform and credit it as a key contributor to my success in my role.
Pros: I always say you’re only as good as your tools, and I see Paycor as one of the key tools that allows me to perform my role effectively while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
Cons: If I had to note a drawback, it would be that we are currently on a legacy version of the system. I would love the opportunity to upgrade, though I understand this is a company-level decision and not a limitation of the platform itself.
Claudia R. · HR Director · Construction · January 25, 2026
We went with Paycor three years ago after trying to decide between a few others. It was the cheapest so we went with them. BIG mistake. Not only do they have a TON of misc fees, but their fees keep increasing! Their reporting functions frequently bring back back information and I get no help when trying to get Paycor to fix the issues I find. Employees consistently have issue logging in and the 450 or some people who now use Paycor in our company, not one of them have said a positive thing about Paycor but we have had plenty of complaints. I would not choose Paycor if given the option again.
Pros: It is hard to say, I have been on several other Payroll programs and this is by far the worst. I guess despite the customer service reps being in India and having a hard time understanding me, they are always friendly.
Cons: Customer service is awful. I need to request help on a weekly basis and wait weeks to get a response sometimes and other times, I get tired of trying to re-explain my issue, so I give up
Preston M. · Financial Controller · Semiconductors · January 20, 2026
As the kids say these days... my experience using Paycor at my company was quite "mid". Not the worst I've used, but certainly not the best. I know others in my organization had an even worse time with it. Internally, is was typically referred to as "Paincor".
Pros: As far as HR softwares go, it technically accomplishes most of what it sets out to do. It has an app where you can view your pay stubs and pay history and sign documents.
Cons: "Finicky" would be the word that comes to mind when I think about the couple of years my company used Paycor. Again, it mostly got the job done on the main things, but I remember the login experience being especially awful. If you backgrounded the app for more than a few seconds, your session would expire and you'd have to re-authenticate. Very frustrating when you're trying to quickly swap between another app like the calculator to figure up something. The login relentlessly needed the full 2-factor authentication as well, even if you selected "Remember this device".
Matt B. · Director of Products · Computer Software · January 13, 2026
Pros: Paycor is very user friendly. Our favorite feature is the applicant tracking system. Recruiting and onboarding is simple and makes our process very efficient.
Cons: I wish there was a direct number to reach someone when an issue or question arises. You have to email your inquiry to their customer support; however, they respond fairly quickly.
Chris N. · HR Manager · Real Estate · January 5, 2026
Paycor really has connection with the leaders to different people, there were coaches on board in this kind of Software.
Pros: The features is absolutely amazing. Paycor provided a quality services including payroll and all about HR solutions
Cons: I least to liked Paycor when there is an abrupt cutting of electrical power, there were times that the data that was encoded has been slowly in retrieving.
